i agree. please DO NOT cave in. even if family/friends pressure you to(i would suggest cut ties with those that show true colors). OP, you(and your child) have a tough road ahead if indeed child is yours. if it is not, then like they say, you dodged a bullet. not in the sense of not having kids but cus of her i mean. hope all turns out best for you either way

Use surrogacy to have kids. there are options for men? what country(ies) would this be possible, please do tell if you know. last i checked, single men cant adopt kids.

exactly. nothing new, but still truth nonetheless. and its not jjust austrailia/uk where this is happening. its happening all over the world. usa, north america, middle america, south america. everywhere

it is parental alienation. or abuse towards the alienated parent proxy the courts and child. they can phrase it call it or define it however they like, but they wont acknowledge it cus the majority of the time it is the father who is the victim and the woman the abuser. but sadly, it is the children the ones who suffer the most. maddie from 'the anti-alienation project' and dr craig childress talk about this and more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R90OU5syEB8

but were you accused specifically of "coercive control"? yes. not my state, but this is more info on that for NJ i found online, if you care to read(i didnt cus it causes more damage mentally than what i already are, traumatized): https://scholarship.shu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=2656&context=student_scholarship its gona get worse before gets any better

its already in law. not sure if its state specific but in my state it was one of the 'laws' that was used against me when i wass falsely acused during divorce. in short, everything is abuse for women and this is why i cannot recomend marriage for any man. if you want to call me black piled its fine with me, im just being realistic. its too much risk

"intersectional competition" according to dr. danni sulikowski but yes its pretty much sabotage what they do to each other. The problem is that you can't even date a normal girl because she's eventually exposed to this shit online and it ruins your relationship eventually. sort of happened to me and thats why i (sadly, but i whole hearteadly mean well, for the well being of men even though people prob think im crazy) always recomend men to NOT GET MERRIED in the west for any reason. there are wa…

What is the process for establishing custody or visitation? im not in your state but most state have a procedure to do this. if you have the mind power and emotional support from fam/friends, then go pro se is a no brainer(for now). if your struggling mentally and have no support then obviously going the attorney way is the only way unfortunately. most courts have 'self help' system to 'help' you with filling out forms, guiding you(not give you legal advice) on what steps you need to do and at l…

sorry this has happened to you. and like the other commentor said, a lot of men are suffering in silence cus they know it could turn around and backfire due to biased laws. however, if your still in this current situation with your wife/gf then i would strongly advice to record everything. yes it sounds paranoid as hell but at this point, it is self preservation for present and future events. log everything, every conversation, messages, etc. its tricky but you have to plan your exit(im only say…

When they split up, they each just walk away with what is theirs, and done. I agree. For property, It should be either everything owned after signing marriage contract given to children or sold off and split. None of spousal/child support bs. But anything owned before everyone keeps their own. And custody should be equal automatically and in cases where there maybe funny business, then it should be investigated and ruled with IRREFUTABLE evidence of such claims. I will never do it again however,…

This propagandic "study" is yet another dishonest piece arguing for one of the few recourses available to fathers falsely accused in child custody battles from what i understood of what you said and correct me if im wrong, but id strongly argue that it is not a recourse when it is true

When men don’t have space to say what’s happening without fear of judgment, issues don’t get worked through, they get carried in silence. I think this applies to all aspects of any mans life, not just the intimacy part. With fewer (or none) men only spaces, then we have the current state of society of men that exists today

I saw the trailer, and it looked like another one of those “MAN BAD OPPRESSOR, WOMAN GOOD VICTIM” movies, so I’m not planning to watch it. "the housemaid" is def another one of those

Most there still think accused college men don’t deserve basic due process procedures. with the use of social media, mainstream news outlets, and hollywood, society has been programmed for decades. man hating propaganda movies/shows like "hanmaids tale", "unbelieable", "the housemaid" are not a mistake. intentional by all means

I fully intend to continue communication through letters and videos, and my rights still allow me to access schools and other institutions for updates. yes do it. at least try to. if you dont have any restraining orders, like i do, i would suggest to stay up to date with school/medical things. if it causes too many issues with her then your argument shouldt be that you have a right until court gives you any orders. as far as letters/videos/photos, im using a 'private' platform to do this. so don…

the "female frodo" and others talk about how men are portrayed in movies. spoiler alert, its not in a positive light. and this has been going on for at least 3 decades. add garbage feminist ideologies and you have an indoctrination soup fed to the masses that will(and do) pretty much hate men

I didn't want to go back to IT because of these reasons, but I'm well-convinced that this is everywhere now. I can't stand it when I hear young men say that they don't have any money, yet they blow it on young women, and have nothing to show for it. I mourn for the future of this world. i dont doubt that this atmosphere is everywhere now. and also one of the reasons why i am also not in IT anymore, also besides the obvious of ai taking over everything. in general, anything corporate is gona be l…

but quickly learned that men are victimized at a level where their status as victims is routinely dismissed, questioned, or outright stripped from them. completely agreed. this is why ive said this before here, that data collected by gov institutions probably cannot be trusted(keyword, probrbably). and rightfully so people will not agree with me in that statement. but to be honest, im on the fence on whether to trust it or not. my saying is, "data and studies are collected by feminist run institutions/agencies, so can you really trust it/them?". again, im still undecided

You don’t get to demand something for nothing, in fact asking for alimony is a direct admission that you can’t maintain your, or your children’s lifestyle without the other person, in which case you should lose custody of the child/children. Because that is what’s in the best interest of the children. i agree completely and it is the most logical solution. the proposed idea that OP is suggesting sounds nice on paper but in reality it is not practical at all. the reality is the higher earner(in m…

She also conveniently leaves out the fact that police look the other way towards DV in Latam, and sicarios are fairly easy to find. Latin men are not significantly more "assertive and dominant." This is a big reason foreign women seek American men in the first place -- we're gentlemen who don't beat them. Instead of highlighting that as a good thing, she mocks us. incorrect. feminism has stretched its tentacles into most western countries, including latin america. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v…

this is very heartbreaking to hear as pretty much everything that involves children being in danger really cuts deep. id suggest to take a deeep breath and think things through, rationally. no one here can tell you what to do, if to go the 'legal' way or the 'ilegal' way. both require strict planning and mental strengths. but the only thing i can say is, if you go the 'legal' way, get as much evidence as possible(it may take time and in the interim your going to have to be very patient and opera…

Would you Consider Writing a Guide/Book about Approaching Separation you say you cant dedicate time and i get that. plus, a guide or book is too 'linear' and there is no one size fits all solution. id suggest starting a podcast or similar on any of the online social spaces. there are other ways/means to spread awareness/advocacy and help men. my 2 cents
/r/MensRights04/10/25 09:25 PM

you have to think of it this way, women will ALWAYS 99% of the time be saved by either the gov or another man/woman. men not so likely. so, the words of encouragement, etc. is the least men can do for other men...for now

Marriage which was supposed to be a fulfilling experience has become such a terrible thing for men. It's like a tug of war between your natural biological urge of finding a woman to build a family with her OR not participate in a system which is so terribly one-sided where you can be severely punished for the actions of the other person. i chose to stop participating in their corupt system - which broke my heart even more cus the result is my son taken away(prety much abducted by the gov). you s…

im sorry this is happening to you. i guess it depends on the state, but if you have 50/50 custody then you should not be paying any child support. in my state, the way they determine who pays and how much is by calculating 'time spent'. howeever, it may depend on whether you have either 'physical', 'joint', or 'legal' custody. so you need to figure that out. if your state has the rule/law where 'time spent' is not a requisite for paying child support and only cares what parent has 'physical', 'l…

I'm not an American but do you guys know that that call would have never been placed in most Eastern European, African, Latin American and Asian countries? dont be to sure about latin america. id argue feminism has its tentacles in all parts of the world, even 'eastern' countries. from mexico: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVBqvA5XUzQ and WHO continues to refuse to add 'parent alienation' to the ICD https://www.who.int/standards/classifications/frequently-asked-questions/parental-alienation

Some feminists saying its the only real power women have left and stripping them of it somehow harms the actual victims (this i can never get my head around) sorry if i misunderstood your comment but is this the same as them saying that 'misogyny kills and misandrist only hurts your feelings'. i completely disagree with that saying and it is true that misandry does def kill

Oh yeah, I've had women ruin my belongings with reckless negligence and then blow up on me for reacting the wrong way. I was never even outwardly hostile towards them. It was as if they expected me to swoop in, save the day, tell them nothing is ever their fault, and then reward them with a trip to Tiffany's. the problem are(for a while now) the laws. in relationship situations like marriages, this is automatically taged as abuse towards the woman, DV. she can claim any sort of thing happened an…

These are changes that are not likely to happen overnight. Societal attitudes often take many years to shift. Even for female victims of DA, it took decades to address the seriousness of their struggles and lay down the foundation for the protections they now have in place today (Barner and Carney 2011). However, it is encouraging seeing the progress that has been made to improve outcomes for these vulnerable women. Knowing that male victims of DA struggle in many of the same ways, it is time th…

Correlation does not equal causation what does that have to do with the divorce stat. does the reason actually matter though(in the context of your question). if it talks like a duck and acts like a duck? why do you need to question the fact that women are the first to leave marriages/families - not all men are evil but in your head we are - and that right there is your typical modern feminist programming

Currently inside of that tornado of destruction. Despite popular belief that 'you have to tough it out', or 'man up' - this, is not even a fraction in comparison to what you go through. page 8: Following the 2008 economic recession, there was an upward trend in suicide rates in men with those in mid-life (45-54) at particular risk. More recently, the suicide rate among middle-aged men in England and Wales has increased since 2017.2 This rise could be partly explained by the lowering in 2018 of t…

Same. She was both, attention seeker and fake crying. I felt like I was getting tortured. But court believed her lies and now I am in more torture for being separated from my son.

I've been reading about the growing gap in college enrollment rates between men and women, with recent statistics showing that women are enrolling and graduating at higher rates than men. As a 19-year-old considering my own educational path, I'm curious about the community's thoughts on this trend. First off, as a guy in my 40s that was never taught anything at that early age, I salute you and I please encourage you to offer assistance/support/courage to other peers at your age to follow suit.(t…

Do you mean in canada? I m in the US and have used legalmatch.com to ask questions about my case but not sure if they also provide service or know canada laws. From what I've read canada is worst than US system. If you decide on doing your case in pro per, please read up on the laws and what you can and cant do. If your case does not have anything like DV or similar, then technically it should be pretty straight forward in asking the court to give you joint custody(the sad part is the decision f…

Its a very tough situation. I know cus I've been through pretty much exactly. The outcome? I was falsely accused, court believed her lies, and separated from my son that I love very much. My suggestion is to start playing it smart and safe, yesterday. People will criticize and say that I am an annoying paranoid idiot. You should start putting up cameras inside/outside house. Tell her its for the families protection since there are too many crimes going on now. If you cant inside house, have reco…

Women will say leave him if you aren't happy with that. I am not saying ANYONE should stay with an abuser. However, the problem here is that most women, tend to lie. They tend to play the double standard and victim card WITH the backing of the government. Add that a 'simp epidemic' that will validate and put you on a pedestal on top of it all, so, with incentives like these, of course your brains/ideologies are rot already. We have received it in romantic relationships a long time. Like multiple…

My point is "believe all women" narrative should of been thrown out the window long time ago. I am not believing random women saying they were 'abuse' just because it was conducted by the CDC nor will I "believe all women" when one of them separated me from my son in family court - and no, if that survey was conducted by family courts I would not believe it either.

I actually went to court today about this. I have no money for attorney so I am doing all myself and I just learned that 'it is better' to get a hearing for custody/visitation before final judgement of divorce case rather than after. Well, at least here in the state that I am in it is, but not sure other states. Was your friend trying to change custody/visitation after the divorce final judgement?

Another one to watch is "Divorce Corp". Maybe its my mind but I think this documentary was intentionally buried - if you check out the imdb ratings its less than 500. I actually just watched it yesterday and it is mind boggling. At least to me it was. Makes you wonder why man/woman are fighting when behind the scenes its all about the money.

The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) is an ongoing, nationally representative random-digit-dial (RDD) telephone survey of adults in the United States using a dual-frame approach that includes both landline and cell phones. Noninstitutionalized, English- and/or Spanish-speaking adult women and men (18 years and older) are surveyed. For this study, the survey was administered twice between September 2016 and May 2017 (i.e., the 2016/2017 period). A total of 15,152 women…

Here is the youtube video with a whopping 700 views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bcr48R3dVhU She should get life. As should everyone who falsely accuses someone. As someone who was falsely accused and was separated from my son. Rare, but at least this man got some justice. I will never recover but hopefully he does.

Not sure she has disproved it per-say in favor of MRM and against feminism, more like shown evidence on why there is a pay gap. I encourage all to watch her prize lecture and also this interview with her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQxUcijeUxo I def applaud her for her work and for her analysis on the subject and give credit where due, however, on the interview video she obviously does not say it outloud but if you listen closely, she is clearly on the side of feminism - or clearly not on t…

Im in my early 40s so if I had to the opportunity to shine some light to my younger self, this is some things of what I would tell him(me)(you). -Yes your academic titles matter but in real life experiences matter more: I personally, would not go into army/military but if that is the only way acquire academic diplomas in your country then so be it. -Set reasonable and achievable goals: Don't do things just because of others think you should be or act. If you want to be a nurse or medical field, …

Sorry to hear about your friend. Sadly, this is far too common in previous generations. The majority had the "happy wife happy life"(at the expense of me, the man) mentality. One of my siblings that recently got divorced was married about 20 years ago and sadly he was like this until he was not - and when he stopped being the nice guy, she filed for divorce. Unfortunately, the system here in the US is f*cked and obviously she got half his sh!t including pension. Its like an obvious choice, if th…

All I could add on to this after reading 50+comments on this is my own experience. After I filed for divorced, I was falsely accused, separated from my son, and the court believed all her lies and gave me restraining order for 5 years. All of this caused trauma, depression, SI, PTSD, anxiety, anxiety to be around that individual, women and anxiety to be around people in general. My relationship was horrid to say the least and I wanted divorce for several reasons, one was for the safety and well …

It almost feels like payback. At least it does to me, personally. "The sins of your father...." Im not even going to finish that statement.... The 'facilitator/host' of the forced sessions(i called them re-programming classes) that the court had me do, one time she started telling a story about someone she knew(a female) that completely got away with abuse, stabbing another person, and also assaulting an officer, physically - all charges eventually dropped as if nothing happened. Good read. One thing I would like to add/adjust. "And if you’re a mom going through a divorce, know that while it’s natural to want your kids as much as possible, if your husband is a good guy (through an objective lens, not through the lens of the acrimony created by your split), it’s ultimately in your children’s best interest to share custody equally." Fixed: "And if you’re a mom going through a divorce, know that while it’s natural to want your kids as much as possible, if your husband is a …

"The way child support was calculated was by taking the combined income of both parents, the total of childcare expenses, and dividing it in proportion according to timeshare calculated by days of parenting time." Pretty much how mine was calculated. Havent looked it up but maybe this 'calculator'(or i think its a spreadsheet they use, forgot the name) is used by many or all states? There are just too many variables at play here. But in a perfect world, the system should always do whats best for the child(s). But they dont unfortunately. Children are not things that people are in debt for, period. So, the states or at the federal level need to do a better job at analyzing this. What do I mean by this? "Child support" should be abolished completely. At time of separation, BOTH parents should pay HALF the expenses, including medical and living expenses. What parent should the…

Something was taken from you. A piece of you is gone forever. 'You never really heal, you just learn to live with it' Take it from someone that was falsely accused and the courts separated me from my son that I love. I would argue the list from OP (or similar) applies to friends/family. Additions: 2.1 Once you know you dont love her/him anymore, GET OUT ASAP. What I mean is, if you are living together(probably obvious if your married), get out of the same living spaces immediately. Do not try to be the nice guy and say "oh maybe she/he will change and needs time". Once you see red flags and do not love them anymore, its time to move on. If there are kids, yes I know you will want to work it out because of th…

Speak up! And yes absolutely yes file police report, get a restraining order(RO) for domestic violence (DV) and include your kid as a protected party. Men need to stop, stop being quiet about domestic abuse/gaslighting at home. I always tell everyone to end relationship in a peaceful manner but if there is abuse, YES REPORT IT!! The system will never change if we don't speak up and we(men) will be on a never ending cycle of complaining and nothing will ever get done. I know Im Late to the commen…

Unfortunately, you are correct on the suicide rate. In regards to custody, court gave her pretty much full custody so at this point she can do whatever she wants with my son - but when I have the energy I will review again in detail. And def check with the court if anything can be done in regards to that.

I actually did consult with a lawyer before I filing divorce. I (mistake number 1) did not think for one second, and neither did lawyer at the time, ex was going to pull something like this. I consulted in regards to the divorce however(so, not much of a lawyer?). Yes, when I consult with appeal lawyer(if I find one) I will bring up all of these points as well for sure.
