Go to www.twitch.tv/ and look at the top streams there are quite a few streamers who are just popular because they're women. Some make as much bank as actual cam girls and they don't even show themselves fully naked.

Yeah those are generally the rules to follow. Though if you've been together for a while and she's actually a good gf some complaints should be addressed. You need to ask yourself these questions. Is this a legitimate complaint? Is it causing your gf serious distress? Is the time investment to fix it worth the benifit? Does fixing it benefit me? Occasionally doing these things lets her hamster to herself how "amazing " of a bf you are.

Lmao ignore these other dudes. If your in an ltr this exactly what you want. If you are not your girls rock shes gonna find another man who will. Just don't turn into one of her gf's by spending to much time listening to non specific bitchin.

Rape can still be about control. Think about afc who's turned to taking advantage of drunk girls. He probably feels very little control over his (nonexistent) sex life, because of all the women rejecting him on their own, and to him arbitrary reasons. By paying for sex he has the power as a consumer. Sure she can set rates and limits, but hes paying on his terms. If he doesn't like this whore he can go to the next one. That can definitely give a feeling of control.

Is it a conspiracy? Well if you view it i strict terms of is there a shadow organization behind the scenes preventing men from gatherong together, then no its not. If you view a conspiracy as a very large demographic working towards similar goals then it kinda is. Generally women, not just feminists have a disdain for male spaces. How many times have you heard a wife resent her husband for hanging out with his friends. Or a mom annoyed at her son for always hanging out with "those boys". Men dra…

For several "good" reasons. By giving control too the cops they might loose access to information coming from the investigation. They loose control of the narrative, since the cops will be making thier own statements. They might be found liable for something by the cops. Some Universities probably don't want to be seen as doing nothing against rape. Considering how much stink about rape culture there is, they don't want to be accused of being part of it.

I think your reasoning on why teachers sleep with students is very on point. I disagree though about them being rpw. In my experience it's very hit or miss. They're normally saddled with a lot of student debt. They don't do a lot of financial planning. Look at the cars they drive, most get cars above thier pay grade. This signifies there on the prowl for a beta bux. I also find schools heavily reinforce girl power feminism combined with the entitled attitude of government employees its a bad com…

I don't claim to know the exact situation, but i doubt it was just him cutting contact. Men need friends just like anyone else. Her giving blow jobs when you guys are playing is a way of controling him and cuting off contact. If he has a good relationship with his family then the whols calling you to see if hes alive thing is wierd. (why are they calling you? Is it to avoid the gf?) A couple more points. Just cause its not too bad doesn't mean it can't be abuse. Abuse has many levels of severity…

Those aren't just red flags for a poor relationship. Forcing him to cut off contact with friends and family. Making him walk on egg shells because of her emotional state. That right there is the sign of an abusive relationship. Especially if your friend hasn't been in many relationships he might not know whats acceptable. You should talk to him about it. He might not like to hear it, but you should if you consider him a friend.

There is definitely stuff there for you, sure the PUA community is geared towards one night stands and quick lays, but a lot is transferable over to long term relationships. Its all about building attraction and building masculinity or femininity respectively.

Yup I believe that year and years of hearing feminist rhetoric has created this cognitive dissonance in a lot of people. For example if a male friend of theirs was being beat by his girlfriend, a lot of people would say that's terrible and try and help their male friend. (Though unfortunately this isn't always the case as /MR has plenty examples of female domestic abuse ignored :(. ) But when you start talking about female on male domestic abuse in general, there mind seems to default to what th…

I think it would be great. I would love a resource like that to point some of my gay friends who are sucked into feminism because its part of the big Democrat family. (Not a dig at the democrats, but people who don't question politics and get caught up with partisan bs). And me pointing to /mr they might say its anti gay or something.
/r/MensRights19/11/12 04:45 PM

True it was a weak comment. But my point remains sexual harassment happens both ways. And that instead of feeding female fear complexes we shud advocate for measure that prevent harassment.
/r/MensRights16/11/12 11:56 PM

Your referring to the women are wonderful effect? Second I wasn't ridiculing anyone. And i thought i was discussing something on /mr not in the wider world. Also i've talked to many people about MRM and i get better responses by being direct. Though i know not everyone responds well to the same thing so i normally tailor my argument to the person.
/r/MensRights16/11/12 11:40 PM

My point is its not a gender issue. And that when you say systematic it gets tricky. What number qualifies systematic? You've just said this number of sexual harassment is acceptable and this number isn't.

I think it comes from the fact that they've been taught that men don't respect them because their women, but we respect all men cause other men are just "one of the guys". Which is in fact horribly wrong since men have to earn the respect of other men! One could make the argument that respect is gained through your own actions, but feminism has a serious blind spot when it comes to women taking responsibility for their own actions they just assert women deserve respect to the point where women j…

Men who have for various reasons realized that the dating scene is skewed heavily of women and have sworn off marriage and traditional male career paths, like working yourself to death to support a child you didn't even want. A penis didn't give you the right to vote. You could only vote if you had money and land. It was only relatively recently that all men could vote. And to vote we have to sign ourselves up for the draft, our vote comes from our supposed willingness to die for our country. Women gained the right to vote shortly after men. There has now been more time between now and women getting the right to vote then between men and women getting the right to vote.

Ik your talking about something different, but i had a lighthearted laugh drawing parallels between this and the consent contracts feminists wanted. Well if you look at it in a purely analytical way. Traditional women don't gather their supplies for their nest, they get a man to do it for them. The quality of their man is dependent on their looks, because good looks are attractive and show that they very fertile and healthy. I feel like being part of the lgbt community is a red pill. By being part of the lgbt community you are already stepping outside of traditional gender roles. You become critical of society and culture, because that society is telling you your an abomination or that your friends or SO aren't people. From there if you have a critical mind, lgbt people are more open to MRM's ideas.
/r/MensRights22/09/12 06:05 PM

Interesting, i would assume its cause their projecting. Whether it be their own insecurity about their sexual orientation, or since they don't like their own gender something must be wrong with the other person. Plus their might be a sexual attraction component to it. Men might get turned on by lesbians and women by gays. Thus it becomes a rationalization hamster to say its ok.

Lady Gaga has described herself clearly as not a feminist. But you might be talking about the glbt community loving her cause she supports the glbt community and i agree with you to an extent. It's extreme, but when you look at it from the perspective that this is just a pop culture craze, and there aren't that many glbt people in modern culture you just gotta not bother with it.

They can't handle criticism. Also feminism has a culture of suppressing voices with in it, everyone's just one big sister hood of consensus. If you can't shame/bully them out, separate them from the group. It could be why you see so many branches of feminism.

This is the equality feminism wants and is impossible. The other type of equality, is equality of freedom. To be free to do what you want, with differences acknowledged.

How about I put it this way. This is how women are biologically, feminism coddles women letting them follow their base instincts. Noones saying they can't be rational. But a lot of them need to grow the fuck up first.

I would give all my money to see this made.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Jz63_lGuSE&feature=g-u-u video summary. TLDR MRA puts up posters with permission, Feminists come and argue, to the point of assaulting security guard. Come back and tear down posters. Now are posting over the posters with their own posters. Which are false information, SPLC never labeled MRA as hate group, not that it matters as noone takes the SPLC seriously anyway.

So you think SRS is a result or PTSD, BPD and some good old extremism too?

Add it into RES, tag everyone as MRA so they know who to downvote.

This isn't an attack on the left but my own experience. Gays have a hard life growing up, a lot of criticism and bullying. The left seems to them to be the only ones out there standing up for them, so they adopt a lot of leftist ideas, one of those being feminism. Also gay culture can plays an emphasis on feminising things, and the whole lgbt community gets along nice with the non-traditional gender roles of feminism very nicely.
/r/MensRights11/09/12 04:54 PM

So feminists are pro pegging?

Good, MRM is really about men's issues, but we need Human Rights Activists if were ever going to really make changes.

Isn't posting in this sub an auto-ban? check if you can comment in SRS and you'll find out if your banned.

Teachings a dirty job??? Well hold on let me go tell that to the teachers i know, who work 10 months, get iPad and laptops, and make more then i do, when their really just glorified power point presenters, that they have a hard dirty job... (not knocking all teachers, i know a lot of great teachers too... they just tend to be private school teachers)
/r/MensRights06/09/12 03:03 PM

I disagree, "manginas" normally assume women are always right. Plus I've seen first hand guys listen to arguments my female friend gave about not treating girls like princesses when they ignored me right before.
/r/MensRights06/09/12 05:43 AM

All you can do is be there, question why their doing it. Point out how their pedestaling. On a personal level you sound like your doing great, treat the, like equals. Make sure they understand from your own example that they have their own value/ you value them, and that they never need to buy a woman's time. Also some men never learn until they've had an interest metaphorically slap them, (socialization is a hard thing to overcome) but you need to be there for them after, to prove not all women…

Thank you! I feel like some people were focusing only on the rape bit of it. Always stay in control of yourself and aware of your surroundings is just common sense.

When is "Don't get blackout drunk with strangers!" not good advice?

Well Romney polls pretty poorly with women, and we know he likes to pander (although badly) I wouldn't be surprised if this is his idea of trying to look like he takes women's issues seriously.

Nope, I'm pretty sure its the opposite.
/r/MensRights17/08/12 10:18 PM

I think he was more talking about a wider picture of control those on top want, rather then all linked to feminism.

Maybe that's where it started, and i agree people should do those things, but people who throw around privileged tend to be looking to put someone down or silence them in my experience. That's why i like to be direct and just say think of their point of view, or respect others. Privilege is a word that bring polarizes people and highlights their differences, when focus should be put on common ground to understand each other IMHO.

Perhaps your confusion comes from the fact that some people here are both egalitarians and MRAs. Those people say they are MRAs to focus on mens issues, but there not saying MRM is focusing on both genders specifically.

I havent seem tne episode yet, but i feel the writers are keenly aware of gender issues. To me it seems to be one of the strongest themes of the show. Watch the enitre show through the eyes of an MRA and watch the family dynamics of walts family. It brings up a lot of issues.

I am gender fluid. So i see gender more from a transgender perspective, and in my eyes feminists and feminist theory are anti-trans as they are today. Feminist theory doesn't take into account the differences between gender and sex. Though also i think the T in lgbt gets lumped in a bit wrongly as issues they deal with are a bit different, but thats for a different post. I agree the lgbt movement =/= feminist, i would say its more equal to the civil rights movement.
/r/MensRights13/07/12 04:43 PM

As someone who has read to man starwars books then he cares to admit, i can't agree enough. Man those jedi are cray cray, atleast the sith dont bs themselves about thier motives half the time.
/r/MensRights13/07/12 03:30 PM

Because you linked to something that is very well known to the MRM community. The wage gape issue is often brought up. While there is nothing wrong with reposts your link was just generally poor quality. Two paragraphs with no citations or facts =/= quality post. Infact ive seen comments on posts here that cover this issue in more depth.
/r/MensRights13/07/12 03:20 PM

I wasn't aware she was that popular tbh. I really didn't check view counts when i watched a couple of her videos, which is my bad I apologize. I disagree people with a following get just as much harassment and hate (if not more). So saying shes a special case, isn't something i can agree with. Also I'm not saying she faked the harassment, just that she played it up. This sorta of childish stuff happens all the time on internet and she took advantage of that to fund herself (not like I'm calling …

True, gotta take it with some salt. Meh, if she does she'll say its going to like research or something. IMO most supporters will publicly "believe" it. assuming a lot of people donated to show they are not sexist like those other guys, there the type of people who don't like admitting mistakes. I still staggered a bit by how much over she got.
/r/MensRights18/06/12 04:11 AM

I'm not doubting, but source(s)? i thought it blew up a bit quick considering shit like this happens a lot. Not that I'm justifying or belittling the attacks.
