1. Realize beautiful women aren’t rare. Your brain puts them on a pedestal because it treats them as scarce. They’re not the majority, but they’re not hard to find either. Even if only 1 in 10 women fits your standard, any place with 10+ women has a good chance of having at least one. So if one rejects you, it’s no big deal, there are probably plenty more within the same venue. 2. Realize they’re human too. They’ve had embarrassing moments, insecurities, failures, and trauma just like everyone e…

I mean… yes… but why blame only women for “selecting fuck boys”? By that standard… you could argue us men should stop trying to sleep around and marry unnatractive women. Or perhaps suppress our sexual urges and not invest energy on finding a mate at all. Problem is, the heart (or the dick) wants what it wants. Same goes for a women’s heart (or pussy).

LMAO... saying this will (understandably) make a lot of people think I’m cringe. But I’ll say it anyway: watching the anime Blue Lock. No kidding. It’s a soccer anime, but it’s really about learning to be more “selfish”, which sounds bad until you realize it’s framed as: Learning to prioritize what you want instead of always letting others “win” Not expecting success just because you’re “a good person”, valuing talent over morality Not relying on "your team" or your circumstances , instead rely …

Age: don't know, looks mid to late 20s. Race: Caucasian. Attractiveness level: a 7, by my standards. When did he meet her? Don't know, we don't keep in touch, I find out because I have him on social media where he posted pictures. 300 for a girlfriend is rookies number. Even conventionally attractive guys.

I know a guy 5'0 who's got a girlfriend. We went to middle school together, I know he got a girlfriend because I have him on social media.

Not fame, but they did have charisma and money. Right ethnicity? not really. I live in Mexico and all three guys were brown, and thus not considered “conventionally attractive” by standards around here.

This is another example of how a toxic attitude might help men become more attractive, at least initially. If a men considers himself "better" than his woman he won't expect her to make choices, so he'll decide to take the lead, which many women will appreciate.
/r/seduction02/07/26 12:37 AM

I know it sounds bad... but in defense of us man... most speak from experience, and results. This kind of mentality, even if toxic, is what drived many of us into real self-improve, which lead to better results with women. Think about it, a man who thinks women expect him to be "better" than her, is more likely to: work his ass to get a better paying job, treat charisma as a skill to be improved on, have more friends to appear more popular, hit the gym and diet with relentless discipline etc. An…

Thanks… I have, but in great part the reason I did was because I had excessive sugar coating growing up. Girls rejected me all the time. I’m autistic so my social skills were bad. I wasn’t properly diagnosed until my early twenties. All I knew is I was awkward, and didn’t know why. Dude, you don’t need to convince me. I AGREE with you. All I’m saying is I PERSONALLY would prefer honesty, even if brutal, because that would help me grow and I don’t take anything personally. But I AGREE that’s not an approach that’s effective with most people.

Worse, I was told "You're an awesome guy, I do like you, but right now I'm not looking for a relationship" I actually believed it, naively. Then saw her start dating a guy in a month and a half. I wish he had just told me "dude, I'm not into you".
/r/seduction27/02/26 06:52 PM

I see, thanks. I think there's a highly subjective moral element here. I'd rather have someone be honest and tell me "I think you look ugly" than having a pious lie told to me. I prefer honest feedback that allows me to improve. That said, again, that's just me, I'm aware not everyone (perhaps not even most) will prefer that.

Yes, yes, that mirros my experience so well. I don't regret leaving either. I'm heavily agnostic now, and from a purely pragmatic point, my life has gotten better. I've finally have a girlfriend after YEARS of begin gently rejected by christian women, praying just didn't work, pick-up content, when properly applied, did. I too in good conscience couldn't believe the christian moral framework, especially ideas related to sex ethics. By the way, that final quote is powerful.

Well, my church community was the exact opposite. Chastity was huge deal... and literally 70% of the discourse I think was about chastity, I guess european lands are much more open and progressive.

Well, thank you for your well tought answer. I promise I've read through all your points. However it is not my intention to start a theological debate, but rather reach in for comfort from people who have experienced similar distress from harmful teachings. For the sake of keeping this response brief and on topic, all I'll say is, I'm aware the harm might've not come from something intrinsic to christianity, but rather the particular intepretation I was sold. That said, a big issue, christianity…

Hey, thanks I knew I wasn't alone. This aspect of the faith rarely gets talked about. I'm very heavily agnostic, but I think if there's a God, and loves me, he'll see how much better my life is now. Long gone are the nights of depressing loneliness. I needed to drop out of church, from the belief in the divine plan, to grow.

Fun fact: Polls reveal Loki has nearly 3 times more fan girls than Thor. Look it up. You’re evaluating yourself through Male Gaze, you assume women look in a man the same thing men look for in women, a perfect body and “the more muscle mass the better”. But for women, a good clothing style, charming personality, a nice cologne, a handsome face and cool hair-style, will beat a super jacked dude most of the time. For the fashion I said "I recommend" that's what guys wear. I've seen that style have the most success. It's a numbers game. Women are generally attracted to guys that are dressed nicer. I would instead recommend to choose your outfit depending on the context. I've been rejected at some venues because I dressed "too nice". This happened at low street bars where most people dressed like rappers, in them my button up shirts where out of place. Switched to rapper style clothing and my success rate …

I'll write the feedback as I read. Things like: Begins talking about your success, good, assuming it's true, we know you're not a conman. Talks about the importance of fashion and clothing. GREEN FLAG, I rarely see that mentioned, and it's more important that most people realize. Thinks I don't like: On fashion and clothing, you assume your style is the only one that could work. But other good looking styles could work too, some even more effectively depending on the type of women you're targeti…

Hey, happy to help. Can you share a bit more about yourself? I think I’ll be able to help you better if I can diagnose your current situation. Do you currently feel happy and satisfied with how your life is outside of dating (career, hobbies, friends, family)? Outside of dating, would you think others consider you charismatic? I have a quick advice, don’t listen to this guy or anyone that spouts criticism without proposing a solution. People like that are trying to undermine you under the guise of constructive criticism. I posted a comment on the main thread, if you’re interested on my take.

Honestly, no bullshit? There’s no magic line or single piece of advice that’ll make her want you. Becoming genuinely attractive takes vast knowledge, time, and practice most of all. Especially if she’s the kind of woman who has plenty of options. Think of it like asking, ”How can I beat Lionel Messi at football?” There’s no one tip that’ll get you there. Some might say, “train your ball dribbling” or “work on your cardio resistance”, and yeah… these things might help a bit… but they alone won’t …

Okay, thanks for that explanation. I still think even in the passionate phase you can be in control. (If you wish). Consider this analogy: 4 surfers are standing on the beach, watching dark storm clouds gather on the horizon, debating whether or not to paddle out. Surfer 1. This guy would rather not surf at all, not now, not later, not ever. Even after the storm passes, he refuses to take any risk, no matter how small. (Honestly, he’s not really a surfer.) Surfer 2. He’s the thrill-seeker. He do…

I’ve never heard of what those phases of love are. Care to explain? By the way, after writing my comment I realized another thing. I think you’re equating being vulnerable with being powerless. I would agree there is a dichotomy between allowing yourself to feel love, and being vulnerable. But being vulnerable does not necessarily mean you’re powerless. You can keep control and allow yourself to feel pain, if you learn the emotional intelligence to process such pain.

I’m on a relationship. I’ve been living on that third reality you claim only exists “in theory”. How? Simple I don’t hold back my feelings, and I don’t need too because it’s mutual. Shall the day come where I lose her? I’ll move on and wish her the best, because I’m confident I can find a new partner. I think the problem here is you assume love entails emotional dependence. But that is not always the case. So I can confirm for a fact, your argument is wrong. You can drop it now.
/r/seduction16/10/25 06:31 PM

False Dichotomy. There’s a third option. Love both yourself and the other person. You can have that giddy “all in” feeling as much as you want, as long as you’re willing to drop it and move on whenever the other person starts acting disinterested or mean. You don’t need to be on the defensive all the time assuming the other person might “betray” you. You don’t need to let someone disrespect you because you feel “in love”.

Oh I see, you're probably an spanish speaking person (or at least, not an english one). The book you're talking about is named "The Game" on english translations, no one knows it as "The Method", it was only called "El Método" on spanish prints, for what I assume were marketing reasons. That's probably the reason you didn't get replies.

I did, for years. Experimented with several styles and pick up menthors and nothing seemed to work. But later, eventually I became quite decent at getting reciprocated. And now, I’ve finally found a girlfriend. Don’t give up mate. What have you done? Maybe I can assist a little with advice.
/r/seduction15/10/25 03:49 AM

I actually commented on one of those posts you probably saw, and it ended up becoming the top comment. The short answer? It really depends on what you mean by “nice guy.” Are we talking about: Someone who’s genuinely kind and caring? A pushover who’s “too nice” to ever stand up for himself? A guy who thinks women owe him affection just for being decent? A super charismatic, fun-to-be-around guy that everyone likes? Or a guy who plays it friendly at first instead of making his romantic intentions…

Yea, but I think this exactly where your analogy breaks down. In it the monkey is a completely helpless victim at the mercy of the experimenters. There’s nothing the monkey can do to persuade the experimenters into giving him good fruits or go find other experimenters who do care about him. In real life there’s a lot of things us men can do to become more attractive so more women want to be with us, we’re not helpless victims at the mercy of fate. Victim thinking is the downfall of incel mentali…
/r/seduction14/10/25 10:36 PM

Agreed, but I’ll add something: Imagine a monkey who’s starving and knows no other way of getting food. Such monkey WILL keep doing the same out of desperation, even WHILE complaining about the unfairness of it all. Even if knows it’s unfair and he will get crappy fruits… because he knows no other way to satiate his hunger, he will keep doing the same. The monkey is not “entitled” he has a point, and we should teach him better ways.
/r/seduction14/10/25 09:24 PM

By “entitled” I mean the belief that a person is morally obliged to reciprocate kindness with sexual gratification. For example: Imagine you meet a gay man (I assume you’re heterosexual), also imagine such man was nice to you. Then, imagine that guy demanded you sleep with him because he was kind to you. If you agree he’s wrong in demanding that, then you agree with my point. However, my second point is that there’s another side to this. If you took advantage of such guy’s feelings, and manipula…

Women who put you in this situation actually want to take your power back. They shouldn’t be putting anyone in these situation to begin with… it’s manipulative. Now, it’s great that you managed to turn your bad situation into a victory. And I applaud you if you teach other guys how to do the same. That said, let’s not blame guys who fail to do so as if they’re the ones in the wrong here. Just because it was easy for you, doesn’t mean it will be of others. An analogy: Imagine if you got physicall…

The difference between a “nice” guy and a genuinely good guy is the nice guy feels entitled to a woman’s reciprocation… as if he’s owed love. However, no one is morally obliged to love anyone back (romantically at least). Nice guys need to understand that no one owes them affection just because they behave “good”. Would you feel morally obliged to have sex with a morbidly obese woman just because she was nice to you? Exactly. That said… I want to say something in defense of “nice” guys… I feel s…

Then you need to work on that first. All the books others mentioned assume you will have the confidence (some often dive a little into inner confidence too, but surface level). For me getting into therapy helped.

Then that’s good, it means it’s not a self esteem issue and you already have the social intelligence and common sense needed to understand when and where principles apply. Really any of the books that others have recommended will work IF you practice the principles enough.

Others already have made good suggestions. But fair warning, I’d argue they’ll only work IF your current level of social skills and (non-studied) pick-up are “decent” and want to make it better. Meaning, if you already pull girls occasionally, but want to take it to the next level, then some of the books others have suggested might help. You will begin to understand why things you’ve done work, and replicate them when you want. However if you lack basic social skills (like I once did) you might …

Great question. Bluelock is a sports anime, specifically football (soccer), and its core theme is that being an egoist can actually make you a better player. It flips the usual sports narrative on its head, rather than glorifying teamwork and selflessness, it glorifies individualism and personal ambition. I know that might sound controversial at first, but if you watch the anime you'll realize there's some truths to that: Confidence matters. An inflated ego can give you the self-belief needed to…

I have used Gleam, great app. I don’t pay for it, mainly because I didn’t felt I needed it anymore, but for those learning it’s a great tool.

There’s no objective reality as much as we like to pretend there is. So if you had two guys: Chad and Steve. Chad - gets laid constantly, has lots of women chasing him. Everyone likes him. Steve - hasn’t had a date in years, every weekend he’s alone, he’s unable to pull even a single instagram contact. Nobody remembers him after meeting him. You’re telling me there’s nothing, objectively, that Chad is doing better? Are his dif in numbers just a coincidence? I’ll tell you what’s not a story, what…

I made my post history private, the reason: I don’t want people to discredit my thoughts based on post history. ”Oh hey you made a post with a republican/democrat leaning opinion, you must be an ass!” This is the kind of comments I want to avoid. To answer your question, dropping the “friends first mindset” was the first step in becoming better at flirting with woman. After years of loneliness, I at least got several casual relationships until eventually… I’m now in a serious relationship with a…

Yeah I feel you, my mom was also an influence into that kind of mindset. She rejected my dad back when they were teens. He siemped for her for years until she finally won her over and they got married. They are still happily married, but their love story is NOT a role model.

Not the commenter but I can infer. Assuming you rely on repetition and luck, rather than skill. Two things could happen: If all 100 attempts are bad (eg. done awkwardly, lacking charisma and confidence). Then chances are not even one is going to go well. Lose of quality in the name of quantity: Yeah sure, maybe 1 in 100 girls will like your awkward approach. But she likely won’t be the one you like the most.

A prime example of the bad advice I see often on this sub. People here assume what works for them will work for every body. They don’t understand that there’s a gap of confidence, experience and social skills.

Translation: You don’t need to learn charisma skills or dive into self improvement to stand out. If you’re one more among the thousands of mediocre joes, women will love that, sureee. Yup, bad and cliche.

Given up? Dude you haven’t even tried. On your original comment you pasted a bunch of YouTube links. Then you came here to tell me I was wrong without elaborating on what you meant by “power dynamics”. Then you “gave up”.
/r/seduction20/09/25 03:47 PM

Power dynamics are defined by underlying beliefs people have about each other. Tu quote Game of Thrones: ”Power resides where men believe it resides.” Such beliefs are defined by reasoning. Reasoning by arguments, and arguments by premises. So at the bottom of it, it IS about arguments somewhat.

Some other guy mentioned debates, then someone critiqued that interactions with women shouldn’t be like political debates and he’s right. That said, I was on debate clubs for several years and I think frame control came easy to me because of it. While I didn’t ‘debate’ woman while trying to pick them up (obviously) my years in debating allowed me to detect what’s called “hidden premises”. Allow me to elaborate, whatever any person believes about you, or your environment, she has a reasoning behi…

When you mean you’ve been with 100 girls, you mean you slept with them? If so, then a lack of results is not the problem. You’ve been with more woman than 99% of men will ever be. Some other guy said you should lower your standards to get more results, I think he is missing the mark. I’d say something else is the problem… You’re putting a pressure on yourself to achieve unrealistic metrics. You’re attaching your self worth to your success with women. Hey I appreciate the advice, I really do. When I posted this, I was looking for something that could help me, create that attraction, rather than relying on being lucky it already exists when you decide to direct approach. A Mystery Method equivalent for clubs. But given, that this has got no responses, except for two, which are basically telling me to be direct and be ready to face rejection, I guess there's no such thing... Next time I'll go in mentalized that I will get rejected a lot before …

So just, basically smile, make eye contact, and if they smile back, ask them out on a dance? I guess that could work, if you’re lucky to find a girl who’s immediately attracted to your looks. But isn’t that rare? At least for average looking guys. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the advice, I really do. But I was hoping to find something that would help me, you know, create that attraction, rather than relying on being lucky it already exists. A Mystery Method equivalent for clubs. I guess ther…

I do approach, problem is I almost always get rejected in clubs… and it’s becoming tiring… in house parties I can approach a group, befriend them asking some random question, make them laugh, and slowly win over the girl I’m interested in. But in clubs, the music is too loud so I can’t befriend a group like that. Every time they can’t hear me when I deliver my opener. All I get is weird looks… I feel so powerless :(

Okay, once again there’s a lot assumptions on this argument, many of which can be criticized and questioned. But I think it’s pointless for me to point them out, you need to be able to do the critical thinking yourself. I’ll give you a hint: since you’ve bought HT into the kantian approach, investigate what Kant believed about justice and fairness.

Okay, second thing you learn in philosophy. Distinguishing good arguments from bad ones. There’s a lot to unpack there. First of all, that is not even an argument, it’s an assertion. A real argument requires, at least TWO premises the receiver can agree with. Now I suppose the hidden/assumed premise is this: P1. The morality of an action is determined by how much harm/good it does. P2. Approaching women causes them harm. Conclusion. Therefore approaching women is morally wrong. Both of these pre…

I did sometimes, yes. Back when I was not confident, I felt that approaching uninvited was equal to harassing. Even when I did approach, I was BAD at reading social cues, every time girls would leave after talking, I assumed I creeped them out. Which made me feel guilty. Because of reading philosophy, I began questioning many of this assumptions. Then I realized “Wait, am I actually doing anything that’s morally wrong? If not, there’s no reason to feel guilty about rejection, and even if they di…

Hey, 27M, diagnosed with level 1 (low) autistism. What worked for me, before getting into pick-up, was getting the basics right. That is, focusing on overall social skills, mindset and confidence before women. For the social skills I'd reccommend watching the youtube channel: Charisma on Command, and practice their tips on your daily life. The mindset and confidence part in my case required therapy and much inner thought process (reading stoic philosophy helped). After some time, you'll gain con…

In my experience, women care a lot less about looks than men. I’ve seen guys with the looks of Henry Cavill get rejected, although the girl was initially interested, due to their dull personality. I’ve seen guys that look like Shrek, have girlfriends I envy, due to either money or insanely good charisma. That being said, if I’m honest, saying it’s possible to get a nice girl while being fat, and that being fat is something that could be compensated with some women, is very different from saying …

Work 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Work on a personal enterpreneural project (I'm developing an app) from 6:00 to 9:00. 9:00 to 9:30 travel back home, I need…

If you have less time to dedicate to pickup then your limited time should be spent on “bread and butter” activities – i.e. actually approaching (including warmup sets and sets during your daily routine). What if I only have say, 30 minutes a day, on workdays? Some would some wouldn’t, like with any other guy. When you say "some" do you think that closer "a few" or "most"? It also depends on where you’re at in general and what timeframe we’re talking by about — if you otherwise mostly have your l…

Okay, then, would you agree at least that, to someone, that pick up is not their main priority in life, and therefore can’t afford to make time to go out and approach multiple times a week. A tool like this could come in handy (assuming the models become sufficiently advanced and trained)? You think it’s good advice, to tell people to make drop other goals to focus on pick up? Because that sounds heavily counter productive. I’ll respond with an analogy. Why do professional soccer players, do training exercises that focus on shooting into the goal, if a real match also requires dribbling skills, passing skills, positioning skills, team work skills, etc? Yes I agree, real life conversation requires multiple skills, both verbal and non verbal. This is a tool that will help you practice only ONE of the many needed skills. Given that you’re open to feeling sympathy to how guys feel. I’d like to say something on our behalf. In my experience with women, I’ve noticed two things tend to happen (keyword TEND, I know these are not universal). a) Women tend to be less “looks” oriented, I’ve seen guys with modelesque looks get rejected due to poor social skills, and guys that look like shrek get the girl due to their insane charisma. b) Women tend to never show signs of interest before you approach, UNLESS, you’ve got the…

Honestly, I hate clubs, the biggest impediment for me in clubs it’s not being able to talk due to the loud music. I already frequent a club where I know the bartenders, and have access to the VIP area. But damn I wish I was still young enough for house parties. In any club, trying to start a conversation with anyone is super awkward. Hello, what your name? What? I said what’s your name? Whaaaat? (Puts on an awkward face and walks away). Hey, sure, gladly. The therapy part was tough. I’m not a psychologist myself so I don’t know exactly what it was my therapist said or did in our sessions that helped me. But I was able to realize many things. For example, I realized I was being very rough on myself because I grew up in a household where criticism was often heard but praise was rarely given. As a fan of Mystery. Here’s my quick take. Many of the ideas he introduced did and still have worked for me. But they’re merely a blueprint, you still need to develop the inner game (confidence, genuine happiness, body language etc.) necessary to approach women without seeming creepy, and the creativity to come up with things to say in different conversations and scenarios. His book, the Mystery Method has very little content on inner game and overall social skills. Instead in lays down a series…

Hey mate, don’t worry we’ve all been there. I’m a guy with Asperger syndrome so believe me, I know. Here’s what worked for me: Step 1. Self-Love and Happiness: This is the hardest part, but it’s essential as it is the backbone. Focus on being happy with your life as it is now. Be happy to the point where you don’t need women or any external validation. It sounds counter-intuitive, but the less you NEED women, the more you’ll be able to attract them. Being a good person can be attractive. Think about the princes in Disney fairy tales, or the male love interests in dramas. They portrayed as heroic figures, not jerks. Being a bad person (a.k.a. jerk) can be unattractive. Seriously, have you ever heard woman say she had a crush in Jeffrey Dahmer or Hitler? Problem is people often confuse being nice with being weak. ‘Nice’ guys are often too selfless, this results in them being: - Pushovers: due to having a “turn the other cheek” attitude. - Shy…
