Is OK to hate what you’re going through. Bc it truly is terrible. But your life is so much more than you can ever realize right now, in the depths. PLEASE- be kind to yourself first, foremost, and forever.

Ive kinda been where you are, except no kids. Where curse words are never sufficient to express the hurt. You will get better. You will move on. And what will happen of her? Well… with enough time you won’t even care. Sorry man. Welcome to the club.

Married >10 years and you make more money than her— yes will be obliged for child support and alimony, possibly for long term. Just bc you divorce doesn’t mean to can step away from your obligation to your children and your wife who will coparent them. Talk to a lawyer.

Pawn it and move on, quick and dirty. You wouldn’t get much at all for it. Its real value was in its symbolism, but now it’s next to garbage.

Preaching to the choir dude. Women are fickle. They love you until they don’t. They flip a switch with no regret. Most important thing is that you exit asap

The audacity to tell you to leave the house bc she has a date. Damn she is cold. She is not for you. Do whatever you can for a quick divorce and move on from this monster if a woman. So sorry dude. You deserve better than this and you know it.

Agree, nothing more unappealing that a tatted up woman. Unless that tatted woman also weighs 300 lb with 4 kids. On point 7, include “astrology”. Women love that shit as it’s stupid as fuck. Also tired of women putting masculine hobbies (sports, outdoors, fishing etc) in their bios just to get attention from guys. In their daily lives they have no interest in such hobbies— it’s a ploy to get mens attention or to seem remotely interesting. And who gives a fuck about pineapple on pizza.

She had months long affair. Found out exactly six months ago today. Moment I found out I was set on serving her lying ass. She doesn’t deserve me. No kids or major assets or spousal support, so going at it without a lawyer. Did have a law firm file and arrange my paperwork for a relatively small fee, mainly bc emotionally I couldn’t deal with it. Whatever I lose in the divorce will be trivial, fortunately. The emotions of it, man that is much more complicated than any legal matter. Still in a lo…

In your mind, maybe. In real life, no, she doesn’t. You are living life. Life is a gamble and none of us are promised anything. Make the next lucky lady the one.

Yes my man. She will regret. You keep moving forward.

She’s delusional or not. Is either version of you wife someone you want to remain with? Get your own happy life and get away from her toxicity. She will come around one day, and by then you’ve moved on. Women love to play these kinds of mental/emotional games. Don’t buy in.

Wasn’t that difficult for me. Cheat and lie to me for five months, I think it’s pretty logical to file. We also have no kids or serious assets, so why would I stay with a lying cheater? Papers all the way.

File and there’s a 6 month cool off period, starting the date of separation, before judge finalizes the D. Separation is defined as when you/her no longer cohabitate and/or when one of you states an intention for divorce. With that short of a marriage, you’re unlikely to have to pay any alimony. If your incomes are on parity or close, she will near certainly get zero support from you. If she petitions for alimony, consider a lawyer and judge will determine. Kids and long marriage makes the situa…

No kids thankfully. Honestly the experience in your description sounds exhausting. I really don’t care to go above and beyond for someone to appreciate me, or feel the need to make a superficial gimmicky profile. but I get that’s the uneven dynamics on these platforms.

Was it a happy bed when shared with her? Or do you just miss a body next to you? Could always get a twin mattress lol. Jk.

Yeah man. She told me, and I’m sure everyone around her, I was “abusive”. What kind of abuse is fucking another man unprotected for months, lying to everyone in your life about everything? And not expressing to me your grievances whatsoever. Riddle me that. Cynts are crazy.

Dude don’t buy a word of it. She didn’t care enough about you to let you know your shortcomings. Maybe some missed opportunities, but a new door has opened with possibly better opportunities. And as others have said, she is and will continue to rewrite history. You know what’s fact and what’s not. This is how some women operate.

What I suspect you’re alluding to is fraud via money laundering or offshore evasion. Could you do it? Yes. Should you? Hmmm…. Likely, you’re not well enough connected or clever enough to successfully execute such crimes. When (not if) you get found out, the Courts will destroy you for doing this. Talking about prison time. But then again, courts usually destroy the man anyways. At least in prison, when your life’s assets are potentially unrecoverable in Nauru, you can’t give nor work to pay alim…

Very similar situation here. Definitely relate to the pain of imaging wife with another man. Is a total gut punch. Try to keep busy as possible to avoid putting you head in that psychological torment. You will gradually start to care less as you form your new life, Good luck man.

That’s wild. Why does she say she now wants you back? What was trigger for the divorce in the first place? Might be major self sabotage to open that wound back up after three years…

on the petition the length of marriage is based on the date of separation, not date of service. Or at least in my experience. We’re you two separated in august?

Agree there’s no time table for emotional recovery. Does the woman you see now sense or know that you’re still hung up on your ex?

Same. She checked out over course of months so had much time to get over it and then move onto AP. Also struggling. The logical part should make you say F her, thank god she’s not my problem anymore. But the emotional part of you is stuck on her. Hopefully one day your emotional self becomes more like your logical self. Good luck.

Sorry man. I am recently going through similar, where wife clearly “checked out” but was too coward to be honest with me and I was too preoccupied/naive to notice. She cheated for months behind my back, I found out, and served her papers. Not sure if it was a typo, but trust me this would NOT be easier if she cheated on you. Time to move on and possibly eventually find someone else who loves you. She does not, sadly.
