Keep killing it, sis. Don't ever let some loser try to convince you to do away with your standards or your self confidence.

My sister had a baby, gave her daughter the dad's last name and dude abandoned his family and set up a new one in another state. I never told my sister how stupid of a decision I found that. First off, my sister has a dope and unique last name. Secondly, it makes NO sense that families aren't matrilineal. You can ONLY be 100% the baby came from the mom (without testing) so babies having mom's last name should have been the default.

I'll one up the scales of horribleness: when I tried to break up with my manipulative abusive ex, he tried handing me the knife and begged ME to kill HIM. Fun times. 🙄

What's everyone's general opinion on Derrick Jaxon? If you know/follow him, you know his videos are usually about relationship advice.

In this episode, she assumes Danny and Sam are dating and that's why she shows interest in Danny and agrees to go with him to the dance when previously she never gave him the time of day. Once she learns that they were never a couple, she immediately badmouths Danny and goes to break up with him. Petty, spiteful, little girl games, def not Queen behavior.

If only Paulina wasn't a shallow Mean Girl who dated a boy just to 'take' him from another girl out of spite.

Obviously, from the Disney resurgence: Moana, Brave, and Frozen, all featuring girls trying to find their place in the world, going on adventures, and not really worrying about dudes. From the Disney Renaissance: Mulan, Aladdin, and Hunchback of Notre Dame. Mulan is pretty self explanatory, she rejects/can't adhere to the gender role expected from her in her culture, goes to war in her father's place, ends up saving her country, very inspiring. For the other two, even though the women are not th…

Y'all see that little interview she did a while back? Interviewer: What are you looking for in a man? Rih: I'm not looking for a man, first of all!

Marge Simpson: Lisa! You'll never get a husband by being sarcastic. Lisa Simpson: -shrugs- Okay, no husband.

I have been that girl and I'm currently childfree. Not the major cause of the latter but a contributing factor.

There is a belief among LVM that women hit a theoretical 'wall' at a certain age (usually 30) and that once they reach that age they are no longer attractive and will decline in appearance.

What was racist was that the men in the video are all men of color. It became known that the creators of the video EDITED OUT any white guy catcalling/harassing so that the only perpetrators we see are Black and brown men.

Would you consider your dad to be a HVM? I only ask because my father raised me too and he is decidedly NOT.

I mean, he got curved by Nicki and Rihanna. I imagine he has little to success with women his age which is why he sets his eyes on 18 year old girls and minors.

It's rather eye opening. I don't agree with every part of the ideology and I've only spent an hour going through the sub but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far and looking forward to learning more. 🙂

That post sent me to this sub, never heard about it before but I'll definitely be passing it along to other women I know.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
