I've been recently doing this exercise again: practice making eye contact with every person you pass on the street. The rules are you have to look at their face and when they look back at you, keep looking until they break eye contact and look away, and THEN you look away. This has a weird subliminal effect on your self-esteem and relating to people in general. If you're anything like me, walking around I'm often staring off into space or at the ground to avoid making eye contact, and if I pass …

It seems to me like you need to hit the Inner Game basics hard first. The all about inner game from the sidebar is a good start. You have to have that handled or at least in progress before you're going to have consistent success. When you get your confidence up, you get over your fears, go approach. I assume from your post that you're relatively young (not 21) so you can't hit bars yet. I would say work on being as social as you can, and if that scares you work on getting over your fear. Always…

As a guy who has hooked up with a lot of girls who were friends first, yeah, definitely go for it. The kiss is more than enough "proof" that you should give it a shot. It could blossom into a relationship, and if not, a FWB situation which can also be nice.

Yeah I had this issue early in my dating career and reducing masturbation was the key. I watched a lot of porn as a kid and this was an issue for me for a little but I was just overdoing it on jerking off and was basically in refractory 80% of the time in general, and 100% of the time that I was getting laid. Idk if this is you too but if so, just cut back, try to go a few days without it and this problem will go away.

I'd say either like a GIF/joke saying no problem or something like that or you could just not send anything. I'd not text her for a few days, then hit her up with something random that isn't a question but is still entertaining/relevant to her. Like reference something you guys talked about before, ideally a playful tease or something. Also as far as striking out, it's never over. There will always be more opportunities to text, flirt, interact, etc etc. It's a lot less high stakes than it seems…

It's hard to say. Did she not reply to your last text? The "fun to talk to" text? Either way, you should probably just be like "Cool no big" and then don't text her for a while. With text game I follow tit-for-two-tats, where a defect is not texting back, flaking on a date, etc. Basically you give them one second chance and if they fail again you ghost them for as long as necessary to rebalance things.

That seems like the best plan! Just don't sweat it right now. I've had a few convenience hookups with girls who went to different schools and I think you just have to appreciate it for what it is. When you're both in town get together, and don't sweat it otherwise.

My take on this will run somewhat counter to the other advice here, but bear with me. This advice also is somewhat general and applies to other girls you may be seeing or dating. I see this as a two-fold issue of you a) not knowing what you want and b) not establishing boundaries with her, either because you know you can't (she wouldn't go for it) or you're worried about scaring her off by wanting more. A lot of girls actually want a boyfriend, and a lot of guys actually want a girlfriend. Oneit…

No prob, good luck!

Yeah, it could be. Just come from a place of non-neediness. Like "Hi I'm X, I saw you and thought you had good style and wanted to come introduce myself." I like complimenting clothes/style in a way because it's legitimate, for example I love a girl who dresses really well, it's a compliment on appearance but it's not crude or overtly sexual. It's more specific than "you're hot". It's like kinda why she is hot. But yes, in general your number one goal should always be to have fun with yourself. …

lmao Yeah it's a bad look. Gotta keep that shit to yourself. I took my last GF to the family reunion, we dated for a year and a half and just broke up, and now my whole family is upset about it. Honestly you can't win with this shit...

Yeah I see it a lot with the 25 and below crowd. Back in my day I'd get their number and THEN add them on social media. But also I don't necessarily want to see a bunch of hookups' social media if we never see each other again.

The biggest advice for "not being a creep" is to make sure that you're self-amusing and only providing value to the interaction. A lot of that "creepy" vibe comes from the feeling that a person has just showed up and is trying to take value from the people there. If someone has no reason to be talking to a group and isn't providing anything valuable to the group there's a good chance that the group will reject them. One of the best ways I've encountered is coming up with something you legitimate…

Is this really a thing now? Have a buddy who is always exchanging his Snapchat instead of his number...seems odd to me but maybe I'm just old

Assuming attraction is a mental frame to keep yourself from shutting yourself out of opportunities and creating a self fulfilling prophecy where you consider yourself not worthy of the girl you're interested in. "Assuming attraction" is essentially a tool for you to get you to act like what it's like to be a man with self-esteem and who sees himself as worthy of the women he likes. Basically, don't rule it out until you know. Plenty of women are attracted but don't make this abundantly clear unt…

You can do this. You have no swag: http://reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice Go over there, find someone who looks cool and mimic their style; until you get the point enough to piece together your own style. The community and resources there will help you develop an eye for style, something that has quite literally been my foot in the bedroom door with certain women. You have approach anxiety. Here's a trick that helped me. Try to say hi to every stranger you see. Every person you see in passing, tr…

I was just debating reading 6 Pillars of Self Esteem. I'll give it a read on your recommendation.
