Anyone notice something about male vs female graduation speakers this week?Totally. I was just mentioning this to someone last week. | /r/askTRP | 06/06/16 12:03 AM
How do you guys deal with the "I don't want the first date to involve going to my/your place" shit test?Ignore and go through the drill on the meet up: instigate, isolate, escalate. | /r/askTRP | 01/01/16 11:13 PM
As a response to kino escalation, the girl went with this shit test: "So what are you trying to get at here?""So, what are you trying to get at here?" I would've said something along the lines of, "third base" or "your bra strap"...... Confidently with a slight smirk of course. | /r/askTRP | 01/01/16 11:11 PM
Looking for an outside perspective re: gym encounterYou were a coward. You weren't 100% sure she was really interested, feared rejection, and at the last minute didn't take the risk.>You were a coward. You weren't 100% sure she was really interested, feared rejection, and at the last minute didn't take the risk. You didn't invite her out or get her number. Ouch. That one stung because deep down I know you're right. At any rate I'll give it one last attempt at salvage and move on if it's too late. The gym psyches me out and I second guess myself w… | /r/askTRP | 18/11/15 12:01 AM
J.R.R. Tolkien On MarriageBP professor, thanks for replying. I stand by what I said regarding the sacrificial love of Christ; that is our model. But as I said, the flesh is a difficult thing. I enjoy reading the MRP forum as it's been extremely insightful to me and I've learned a lot about the nature of women. The truths that have been articulated by many here make so much sense even though at first I found it counter intuitive. Now I realize that many aspects of RP and Christianity are not mutually exclusive. But, that'… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 22/07/15 04:33 AM
J.R.R. Tolkien On MarriageThe Christian love as practiced by a man is to be sacrificial just as Christ sacrificed Himself for His bride; the church. Also, the wife is to see to it that she respects the husband as he is the head over her. It seems to me that if everyone could manage to adhere to these principles on marriage, there wouldn't even be a need for MRP........... but the flesh is a difficult thing. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 20/07/15 03:55 PM

Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesIMHO when a person is out of control is not the time to be baiting them with smart ass smirks. Fair point. I didn't interpret it as baiting but I am almost certain she did and it just served to escalate things. I think the consensus here is that I should have bailed when the situation started to hit twilight zone but I was determined to establish and maintain frame. MMSLP talks about mixing in some beta comfort and I am going through a learning curve calibrating when to mix that in. Oh well. No … | /r/MarriedRedPill | 31/01/15 02:28 AM
Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesIt's funny, I was listening to Black Philip show when I decided to get the gym membership. Deep down I knew she'd want to challenge me on it because she's confrontational by nature (you'd never know it though if you just interacted with her professionally), I just didn't care. I hadn't considered a shock and awe approach though, I will keep that in my memory banks. It'll probably be a while before the next nuclear meltdown, but it'll come eventually. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/01/15 10:25 PM
Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesYeah, this really resonates. It's sad because the kids saw/heard the whole thing and it's not the first time. My 11 year old son asks me what the big deal is and he's shaking his head like he can't understand why she freaked completely out. I think this sounds like a good exercise in being OI and further demonstrating that the captain can right the ship even if it's taking on water. Thanks. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/01/15 10:19 PM
Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesI've done A,B, and D in the past (D once early in the relationship and we broke up for about 2 months). A lot of getting mad early on but now I've tended to try and show her the reasoning behind my decisions. It's never received well though and RP has showed me that this is AWALT. In this last instance, if went for A&A and amused mastery. Pissed her off even more. She says I don't take her concerns serious but how can I when she's losing it, lol. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/01/15 06:33 PM
Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesGreat link. Samuel Jackson does that better than anyone. I'm a patient man by nature but the shit is comical to me now; comical as in I don't want to deal with it anymore. It's like we never get to a calm discussion until she gets this out of her system and she is always able to justify the antics which just floors me. Regardless though, I'm through tolerating it, now I need to come up with some consequences that work for me and stick to it. Leaving probably would've been a good start. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/01/15 06:27 PM
Dealing with Wife's Rage IssuesThis is definitely not the first time she's exploded in rage over the years, it's happened periodically over the course of our relationship. The most egregious example is when she threw some scissors at me and cut me after we got into it about upgrading to a bigger house (I didn't want to). Those were all pre RP though and I'm starting to realize that this may be her go to move in order to get her way. I'm also beginning to recognize what an irrational beast that hamster is. There have been hot/… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/01/15 05:56 PM
