I'm actually happy to be removed from those spaces lol No regrets. I'm 100% committed to this lifestyle and stand by it firmly.

I just watched this show tonight and I'm appalled by most candidates honestly... The audacity that one guy has to propose to a second women after being rejected by the first 🤡 and the fact that she even says yes ??? Heck I dont get why the girls didnt even talk about Shayne's wishy washy behavior/words either?? Doesn't make sense.

I wish men would care about their OWN mental health and actually go to fucking therapy. Like, honestly, I met SO many dudes whining about their lifes without doing anything to help themselves. It's like they just want to always have an excuse to underperform at school/work. Life is just so tough for them. And then you have other dude bros who validate such behavior, "oh you know, he couldn't do task XY because he has it so rough rn". Excuse me, but last time I checked said man is an adult who sh…

A sex toy would probably serve her better than an obvious LVM looking for non-committal sex I guess. It's in their nature to be disappointing like that lol

I don't think wanting kids can/should be correlated with your work. He will probably tell you during dates what he wants your future to be like though.

I don't know this lady, but I'd advice against being casual - as in being intimate while only dating. But that's only my POV. Don't ever do anything you're not comfortable with period. No matter what anyone says. It may be a good strategy to not reveal your intentions upfront and let him do the talking about all that first. The reason for that is, that by revealing too much too soon you might set yourself up to be manipulated in the future. By letting him have the space for the future talk you'r…

They spread this because they're desperate for female validation which they aim to get by telling them that "men age like fine wine while women age like milk" 🙄 Look, people who are attractive after puberty will be attractive for a long time.

Well, I guess it's already a bad sign of he's part of the peanut gallery for months, right? He should be interested in getting to know you more from the get-go, in a respectful way of course. It's also a good thing to check his future plans early on. If you don't align, it's easy to stop contact.

This recently just happened to me. I‘m very hurt over this. One of my so called „friends“ invited me over cause we both had an accomplishment to celebrate. Nothing unusual I thought. We've hung out before. He had decorated his whole place and tried getting physical... I went back home, didn't tell anyone until I saw a mutual friend today and it burst out of me. Now I feel guilty for even telling her cause it makes him look bad, which I recognize I shouldn't feel like this at all. I'm just heart-…

Facts. I once dated a guy who first said he didn't want anything serious for the time being, so I stopped seeing him. One month later he came crawling back probably cause he couldn't find women to bang the way he imagined. Back then I was naive, so when he asked to go out again I agreed. It took me one date to find out he used to be a huge womanizer, so I stopped seeing him again cause I strongly believe community dicks don't change (I knew that even then lol). Now, fortunately I didn't waste to…

Thanks to years of pickmeism men started thinking it was them who ought to be wooed. During covid, said pickmeishas probably grew a backbone and left their bum boyfriends so now there's alot of uncapable, single men available.

Yes, this is an awful idea indeed. What reason could there be to live off campus that is worthy getting fake-married for??

I think you should just talk to your fiancé about the topic again. Maybe you could say something like "I'm not confident I could contribute so much financially after having children" and explain why. Other people's opinions will probably not be of help here. It's between you two to sort out.

My goal is to stick to a new home workout plan with running 3x a week, followed by some light weight training and stretching everyday.

I feel an obligation to stay in touch with her because she's my mom and family is important to me, but I definitely need to set better boundaries and stick to them.

Thank you for your comment. It sure made me laugh! I also agree you should start a YouTube channel. I'm not from the US but from Western Europe so I'm not sure if my mom could be considered a boomer?

Thank you for your comment. I'm definitely considering option 2, but I'll have some extensive talks with my therapist about this aswell. It's a really sad family situation.

I agree her opinion probably stems from her own experiences, which is fine. The way she talks though doesn't really make me feel like she has my best interest at heart. I tried holding the proverbial mirror to her face before but that didn't help. We had many small disagreements over the years and at this point I think she just does these kinda things to piss me off.

I wouldn't take the advice and I understand people have different opinions. I just wish mine could be respected by my mom. You're right, I'll stay clear of the topic with her in the future!

First of all, I'm very sorry for your situation with your mother! I often think about how wonderful life in a healthy family must be. We all deserve this. I don't feel comfortable diagnosing her with anything and like I said I'm going to therapy for the more underlying issues that resulted within myself, but I did think about what you mentioned. Because she's my mother, of course I want her to be part of my life and future family, but I'm also scared that'll make things go down south in the long…

There are indeed alot of problems, which is pretty sad. I'm going to therapy for that. I just wish things were like they should be in a healthy mother/daughter relationship.

Thank you for your comment! She did express her opinion when I was still with my ex though, even in front of him when we were visiting for the holidays last year. I don't wish to break off with her at all, for the sake of the whole family. It's just hard for me to be even remotely close with her apparently, which is sad. I don't want to give her the silent treatment. Instead I'll just stick to more mundane topics on the future or I'll just listen and keep my opinion to myself.

It's so weird to me because she always had rather low paying jobs (which were used to fund her wardrobe) and was dependent on my father and now (after his death) his insurance fund. Maybe she low-key wants me to be envious of her dating life nowadays (which she talks extensively about)? Color me clueless.

That's a pretty weird comment from your mom... Sometimes I wonder what goes through people's heads. Anyways, congrats on your engagement and getting married!!

Thank you so much for your comment! Our relationship is a bit toxic I guess. I'm going to therapy for these family issues, but I still need to find good coping strategies. Like you mentioned, excusing myself from the conversation seems like a good idea. I need to learn how to be less hot-headed in those situations.

Thank you for your comment and advice. She does indeed not have the life I would want for myself. I guess I'll have to become more relaxed on the topic and just stop listening whenever she says things like that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
