Good general tips, but taking it to the next level would involve going against some of your recommendations. Work clothes can be a bit more comfortable, and young guys can get away with dressing a bit more sloppy, but every man should know how to dress like a million bucks when he needs or wants to. Top 5 European biz school? Hmmm... off the top of my head... INSEAD, LBS, Oxford, Cambridge, Erasmus? Only 2 of those have any brand recognition at all in the US and I'm thinking that if you went to one of those you'd mention the Oxbridge connection and wouldn't have trouble finding work. Sorry but the US is extremely insular, speaking languages and top tier universities for a particular non-US region don't hold much weight here. Reading between the lines of your post lies an interesting point. The rewards of lifting are the opposite of instant gratification. For me, and many others, the true joy in lifting is the results, and results take time. The kind of person who only appreciates instant gratification won't have the patience for body transformation. I wonder if there's any correlation between lifting the infamous "marshmallow test" given to kids to see how they are able to process delayed gratification?

This "functional strength" crossfit bullshit is so much wankery. It only takes a few months to get every bit as "functionally" strong as modern life requires. I never once in my day to day life wish I was stronger. I'm strong as fuck yet I keep lifting to get bigger and better looking. Real shame that "bodybuilding" has a negative association.
