Also here in the UK, you always hear about the bravery of the suffragettes. Why when men are incompetent at cleaning tasks it is "Weaponised Incompetence" - but when many women are unable to do basic DIY tasks like changing a fuse or using power-tools, nobody would call it that. I noticed this when I went to a small, historic bathhouse in Budapest. It was men only (and women only on other days), and you could tell the atmosphere was much more relaxed. Nobody competing for female attention, no machismo. Just some dudes bathing and relaxing. It was really interesting to see how it changed the atmosphere.

I don't agree at all. One of the most successful women I know it's constantly using her sex to her advantage with "women in stem" type affirmative action policies. She's currently studying at Harvard paid for by her employer. It really has become common for certain jobs in the USA to be filled with essentially a predefined identity group, which is of course never white men.

Had a long and fruitless discussion about this with my ex about this. All her arguments were about how difficult the choice of having an abortion could be for women, how they should have agency over their bodies etc. etc. Not once did it occur to her what the impact of being forced to pay a large proportion of your income for 18 years for something you have no part in deciding was on men. I used to think I wasn't interesting either. But then I learned about MDMA, and tried it.
