I liked his utter and absolute hatred he had in the early chapters, and when the Queen came back. The world needed him, summoned him, and then disparaged him - I can easily see why he would lose his shit.

No, that is a conclusion you came to. He did not say he rushes through patients. He said they dont want to be rushed. There is a difference. If person A needs to take more time to make a decision and has to make x amount of decisions then they feel the time pressure on them if the number of decisions become x + some other number. Whereas person B can make x+some other number decisions in less time so they wont be rushed if they can process faster.

She works 80 hours a week but only sees about 35 patients a day? The doctors i work under can knock out 10 - 15 in 4 hours. Unless her patients are really sick and time intensive, that pace seems low from my admittedly limited experience.

How do you know they're rushing? Maybe they just figure the shit out faster.

James Damore. The google guy as someone else put it. The company wanted to increase female/diversity etc... Damore writes a cited paper on how to create positions or recruit for positions that women would actually be interested in, and got called a sexist for it after someone leaked it to the public. Im vastly simplifying what the memo was for, but it did deal with female recruitment in some fashion.

Please dont. Lol. I only sell covereds anyway. The premium is usually enough, and i dont really mind making max profit. For some retarded reason, when i first started, I placed way too much value on selling the call and keeping the stock which made me do stupid things like rolling out expiration and strike for a debit. Money lost, lesson learned.

I would actually point the blame at NOW, but yeah Obama is ultimately responsible. NOW just had to come out with that bullshit about building human bridges and said they were just as important as building real bridges. Directed funds away from infrastructure, and by necessity, getting men back to work

If you dont want to learn about the stock market and investments, you probably want a 3 fund portfolio. So look for 3 Index type funds. A total market index, an international index, and a bond index. This is a good overview of what I am talking about. Just understand the market goes up and down, but generally speaking, over time, it will go up. Add a couple hundred a month or more, and just invest regularly and over time you should have a formidable account. Make investment an automatic thing be…

I'll be getting the longest term mortgage available in order to minimise mandatory bills I skimmed over this part too quickly. At least you're going in with eyes open.

Honestly, the difference between a 15 year and 30 year mortgage, monthly payments wise, is negligible. Edit: maybe not negligible, but it's not 2x as much. Saving on the interest really helps.

Word of warning, the author, Robert Kiyosaki IIRC, is a bit sketchy with the financial examples and the rich dad, poor dad shtick. If nothing else, read it for just the mindset of asset and liabilities instead of income expenses.

"Catherine Lafferty is a freelance journalist" And it should stay that way. I like how she conveniently sidesteps the issue of nonmiddle-aged women divorcing men in higher numbers. In fact, her entire argument is that married men will throw away their wives during middle age and that the woman stayed home and only raised their kids. But we know how much that actually happens now.

Wear proper fitting clothes and a belt, stay near my group if I am with one, I don't really drink much alone so I am drinking I am with a group. Zero. My hand stays over my drink, if I leave my drink unattended, guess who gets a new drink? Common sense daily magazine. Is it dark? It's higher risk. Is it after midnight? It's higher risk. Am I in a sketchy part of town. It's higher risk.

When you invest money, you do so with the expectation that the money you invest will grow. By investing money in a retirement or brokerage account you are allocating money you are hoping will increase with little direct work from you [Massively simplified]. I disagree with their method, loaning money to other investors, or I disagree with the way they are phrasing it, investing is not always a loan. You are actually buying something a lot of the time The most basic of all investments is a bond. …
