I believe it is principled to fight for equal treatment under the law, and I am assuming that this is what you refer to by "balance". What I denounce is setting out to increase one's material well-being using government, since any material benefit (power) that the government can give, can only be obtained by taxing it (whether through an actual tax, or an indirect confiscation of productivity and wealth) from someone else. Problem is, the women who support abortion are fighting for power, not rights, and they're not women you're going to compel, period. You might be right, but I think they can be compelled.
