because that's what women told me Those women are in sugar relationships, and they've said that they don't do sexual activity? Were those women in locations where there are harsh penalties for prostitution? and what other men have posted? Sugar daddies have said their sugar babies don't do sexual activity? What interviews and forums are you reading or hearing sugar daddies saying this? Or when you say 'other men' are you talking about non-sugar daddies? there is a huge deluge of women who aren't…

they do not What makes you think sugar babies don't do anything sexual with sugar daddies? Sexual activity as being part of being a sugar baby is extremely well known in 'the bowl'. There's a subreddit about sugardating you can check. It's shocking (based on upvotes of your comments) that there are people who don't know that sugar babies do sexual activity with sugar daddies.

If they provide any sexual interaction (phone, pics, etc) then they are still sex workers. Just like Onlyfans solo content creators or (back in the day) phone sex operators are still sex workers. If they literally do absolutely for the money (not even financial domination) then I agree it isn't sex work, but that isn't a sugar baby relationship either that's just a guy giving money to a woman.

i have never seen a homeless woman where i live (berlin) The Berlin bubble you live in regarding gender isn't the Western world. I've seen plenty of homeless women here in the UK. You also seem to be ignoring things like class, sexualty and race. And seem to be basing your opinion on assuming you'd be at least a middle class White heterosexual woman in the West. Dating and relationships are another big one. Men are still expected to provide, to lead, to have their life together. Women don’t have…

I feel like feminism is mostly selective traditionalism weaponized against men. I want both sides to be liberated from their oppressive gender roles, not just women. I call that pop feminism. I see a lot of feminists like that on IG (I don't use Tiktok but it is rampant I've heard). IME they only want hostile sexism abolished, but are completely fine with benevolent sexism, and even try to pressure men and society to have benevolent sexism towards women. (YVedits is one of the most popular pop f…

Yeah, she could have done that. You being left wing and red leaning... Does that mean you are left wing economically, but not in terms of social issues? (Seeing as the Red Pill is anti-feminism because it teaches prescriptions based on gender).

Exactly. That's what I also reply to men who say 'feminism' is the reason. It's cross cultural. Nations that vary signficantly on the gender equality index face the same issue.

I agree that if you gave men the option to have that power or not, they would choose it. (Not that it would necessarily be their 3rd wish.) And that gives credence to feminists who speak about us living in a patriarchy, that we think the majority of men would desire to take away women's autonomy and ability to consent if they had the ability to. (The superpower you are talking about would be taking away women's autonomy, please make no mistake. I write erotica, and in erotica a story with that p…

In the context of my post, I was talking about people finding the status of the person attractive. Not the increase in the status that the person can get them, which is what you seem to be talking about. Also, I've never known men brag about the intelligence or mothering ability of a woman, as a means of status. Men are far more concerned about status than women Again, I've never known socio-economic status be presented as attractive amongst men in male dominated communities. In the sub-cultures…

The men would be the foreign spouses in the study, because they are immigrants in Thailand. So they are the financially abused foreign spouses. There's a misconception and a conflation of Passport Bros with the old school 'mail order bride' movement. Most of the Passport bros move become immigrants. In Thailand, the laws are against foreigners financially, also any land can only be own by Thai citizens, so the men invest in a business or home, and then get divorced and they take everything legal…

I've read, way too many stories of guys going to places like Thailand, falling in love, getting in long term relationship and then getting financially used and then discarded. From what I've seen, Status is a genuine sexual attraction trigger for women, in a way that it isn't for men. If a person leads with their job, then IMO it's usually a proxy for socio-economic status, not raw status. From what I've observed, in sub-cultures that I've been a part of; the highest status men (even if they aren't that good looking) are attractive to women with options within those communities. (And they do form long term relationships.) I agree 100% about money does not trigger sexu…

"Homosocial" doesn't capture what I'm describing. I know, that's why I wrote 'if you framed them as...'. I'm explicitly separating romantic attraction from sexual attraction. Someone can be romantically oriented toward one gender while being sexually attracted to another, or vice versa. That's the distinction I'm discussing. I understood your post.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:23 AM

I wasn't saying the threats were the same, I was saying that your rationalization is the same. No, I'm also talking about him putting himself in danger. That's part of the scene, he's aware that he's putting himself in danger with his action, but he also threatens with is intention. I don't think things aimed at men or women are usually universal in appeal (precisely because they are aimed at a specific gender's taste and experiences), b…

They were talking about the movies. I don't know how different the movies are from the books, maybe you know? I think they meant things that are aimed at women. He quite literally hangs one handed off the ferris wheel until she says yes. It genuinely baffles me how many women do not see it at coercion. I'm not against movies that show toxic people, but the issue I have is when people don't identify it as toxic. (e.g. people who think Tyler Durden is an inspirational character, rather than being an deeply unhealthy response to the emptiness of American middle class consumerist lifestyle.)

If you are engaging in traditional gender roles in dating, then how can you be surprised when the man engages in traditional gender roles in the home?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 11:59 AM

Yes. This refers to men pulling their weight in the relationship, meaning they do equal childcare, chores, household duties, the administrative care work of making doctor's appointments, booking vacations, planning birthdays etc., instead of leaving it for the women to do. It has nothing to do with planning dates or dating dynamics. There is no contradiction here. This seems like a thinly veiled "gotcha!" to extract more unpaid labor from women, under the guise of "equality". If a woman wants tr…

It think the gap is mainly biological; women are just harder to please physically than men. All most men need is friction on their dick, and/or a good view. Women tend to need foreplay, 'precision' (in regards to rhythm and angles) and clit stimulation. (e.g. There are a lot of men who don't know that they can grind a woman's clit with their pubic bone when in missionary.)

Seeing as there has been a unbroken chain of misogyny from ancient civilizations to the present... w Why do you think that the reasons for misogyny existing in the present must be unique the present? I don't know how to write this in a way that doesn't seem condescending... Are you claiming that the misogyny of the Roman Empire was based on jealousy of the dating life of women, their looks and their ability to give birth? I think that's just another way of saying that personality plays a bigger role in someone being attractive. Their physical appearance doesn't change, just your feelings towards their appearance. Based on the work of violence prevention expert James Gilligan in a psychiatric men's prison, and in my own personal life; Emasculation can be one on one. there is no reason for women to take offense to men finding them sexy. no reason to dislike being hit on. On what authority are you telling women how to feel about men's behavior? It's their life, mind and body, why don't you want to allow them the autonomy to feel whatever they want to feel about an interaction? Why are you trying to dictate the inner workings of women's minds?

This means it needs legal regulation and punishment for use of non-consented actors. It already has that. But laws don't mean things won't happen. What's your definition of shallow? If you heavily prioritize looks over character and values, then that is shallow by every common use of the term. You seem to have a different definition. A person can be attractive and unhealthy, a person can be unattractive an unhealthy. Epigenetics is a real thing, lifestyle matters in regards to health. I haven't heard any men say that (and I've listened to a lot of Red Pill/manosphere content). That sounds like a very fringe opinion. The most common age is 35-40 that I've heard, and even then that's not true. Women in their early 20s (the most sought after women) tend to date men in their 20s, despite having the ability to date any age range. The reality seems to be that both men and women feel insecure about aging, and cope in different ways.

Unattractive women (some of the women who travel there are middle aged and unattractive) can still go to foreign poor nations and find men... and they do. For both men and women who travel to poor nations to find a partner, it's about money increasing their dating success. The unattractive men do not become attractive in a new country, it's the money.

Some of them look for love, like in the 2nd video I posted. The point is, if unattractive women are willing to travel, and are willing to pay for the men, then they can find partners. Who made you the gatekeeper of feminism? Critiquing patriarchy is one of the defining characteristics of feminist discourse. Even if (IMO) many liberal feminists do not actually want the patriarchy dismantled and just want a reformed version of patriarchy (i.e. benevolent sexism from men), they still present their views as being against patriarchy. How exactly should progressives speak to men’s problem of men not able to get women to have as much sex as they want and feeling upset about things like that they can’t get a woman to do all the cleaning and childcare for them like they think their grandfathers got, or they have to compete with women in jobs even though they feel they are automatically better than all women? Is that what you think men's issue come down to?

The left IMO has a big issue with content creators. IME the most popular feminist content creators on tik tok/feminism are abrasive and outright insulting to men. Even content creators are like say things like "ugh, you're making me side with a man", "men are trash", and I saw one who outright supported a video of a woman assaulting her boyfriend (she also did it in front of her own child), etc, and I tolerate their prejudice because they are insightful. I think I've developed a higher tolerance…

A quick response as I wind down (it might be a bit disjointed, because I'm in a rush); The Patriarchy is more than just about male leadership, it is also about culture regarding gender, masculinity and femininity. Under patriarchy at the core of masculinity is the belief that masculinity = dominance and superiority to women and femininity. The masculine ideal to be high status within a dominance hierarchy and be dominant or superior to women and femininity. The prescription within the patriarchy…

Group therapy is different from one on one. I agree, but most people only know about group therapy in the context of AA, and support groups for disorders or illness. If you are using YouTube as your example of dating coaching that is a very different thing and also sales. Why is using youtube as an example different? A lot of therapy takes place online these days, just like coaching. It didn't make it clear, but flirting roleplay also happens in person in workshops. Again I dont know a specific …

Genuine question; which modality of therapy would roleplay flirting with clients? People shit on therapy while knowing absolutely nothing about it. I think one of the key issues is therapy has become synonymous with talk therapy, and I think that doesn't work for a lot of people who struggle to articulate how they are feeling in the first place. In movies and TV shows, that is the dominant form for therapy. And when most people on the internet IMO talk about 'going to therapy' they mean talk the…

You're talking about them just giving advice but not roleplaying with clients? If so, I think a lot of people who struggle need do be observed and receive feedback. It's like sales training IMO, people need direct feedback and roleplaying on what they are doing wrong. I've seen dating coaches who do roleplay exercises. I think they'd probably be more useful for flirting training.

A therapist will help you talk to women and become a person who can actually have a relationship. In what way? I've only done counselling, but I'm curious why you think a therapist would improve a person's ability to flirt, etc? Playing into societys demands isn't the answer, the answer is getting rid of traditional gender roles for men as well as us being treated more like human beings instead of tools. Dismantling patriarchy will likely take centuries, but that wouldn't improve his social and romantic life in his lifetime. Exercising and improving social skills does. Misogyny isn't only defined by emotions but also expressions, based around devaluing women (specifically for being in the 'class' of women). A misogynistic expression can be about devaluing a woman for her interests, sexuality, age, violating gender norms, etc, in relation to her gender. Women in various fields are often assessed and talked about with disdain based on their attractiveness or sexual history, regardless of her accomplishments, what she's talking about, etc. Also things associated …

In the op, it sounds more like he’s asking women to masturbate using men’s bodies just like men are masturbating using ours. Has that been your experience of sex? Sounds awful if it is. With women who can’t cum through penetration, no amount of “making our knees stronger” is going to change that. Very true. However, like OP said their are positions which create clit stimulation, and women could (I'm not saying they have to, I'm just saying could) take OP's advise and move into, or ask the man, t…

OK, yours is a single experience, as a gay prostitute. We're talking about hetero prostitution. Do you think that all men who see prostitutes want moaning and clutching? Also, the existence of blowjob prostitution is counter to what you are claiming. Those are men who simply want a mouth on them, and obviously don't care for signs of a woman's pleasure.

The person I replied to was framing women as putting in effort during sex (which is what OP said) as 'women have to orgasm by themselves'. So, what you said is better directed towards her. Based on her reasoning, a man who is the one physically making them orgasm during sex is 'orgasming by themselves'. I don't see it that way, but she does. So I took her framing and replied using it.

Genuine question, because I'm curious (I don't agree with OP BTW): Do you actively try to make your partner cum? In terms of the physical logistics, unless a woman is on top (or some angles of doggy), neither of us get pleasure unless I'm moving.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:44 PM

I don't agree with OP, but I'll say this because I'm curious of your answer... IME I'm usually doing all the work physically (unless the woman is on top, or certain angles of doggy) and so if I'm not physically moving then I don't climax. In context, OP is talking about physical effort. So, turning the question around; if a man physically moving is the reason why he climaxes with you (you're not on top), would you encourage him to question why he needs you?

I'm no agreeing with OP, but within the context of OP's post... (He's talking about effort.) It's not a rebuttal, because the problem is non-replacement level fertility rates, and the programs have solved that. People are not having kids at the rate they were 50 years ago, and this is happening in a variety of nations with differing economies from Thailand, to Sweden to the UK. It's being more rational (and less dehumanizing for children) to propose restructuring the economy, and putting money into regenerative medicine and automation to avert economic problems.

Forrest Gump had practically no interest in casual sex. I wouldn't class him as being demisexual, more towards asexual. LGBT rights are a non issue in western countries driven by blatant hate for humanity. I advise you to look at the kind of things that happened to LGBT people before the movement began. The movement began with the Stonewall riots,…

That makes no sense when left wing organizations, in the west, have been at the forefront of fighting for women's, racial minority and LGBT rights, even when they face abuse, imprisonment or death. Even now, the majority of anti-Zionist activism in the west comes from the left. IME right wingers in the west are much less likely to advocate for things like welfare, universal healthcare, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 06:08 PM

ou don't "owe" it to anybody, but if you live in a free society and you love freedom, you have responsibilities. Do you believe that having children to be workers to sustain the economy and to have voters for a specific political ideology is a good reason to have kids? That sounds like a dehumanizing view of children to me, if you do believe that. (I've heard other people say that, BTW). It sounds like a dystopian science fiction novel.

It not a western issue. The lower birthrate is happening in non western nations like Thailand and China. Only the west do I hear people blaming feminism and western values. The human race has been around for 250,000 years, we'll be fine. The choice is either pressure women into having babies, or change the debt based growth economic system. It's bizarre and sad to me that men would prefer to pressure women rather than question if a debt based capitalist system needs to be scrapped. Brainwashing …

I implore you to look at the population level of the human race for it's 250,000 year history. I've repeatedly try to tell alarmist white nationalists that there are more white people alive in 2026, than the entire global population 300 years ago. The problem is we've created a debt based growth economic system, and it's unsustainable. There is no danger of the human race dying out, just economic problems. However, the manosphere and conservatives talk about the birth rate issue, rather than res…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 05:56 PM

No children = No Society People are still having kids, just at a lower rate. It's that there are zero births, just that the birth rate isn't keeping up with the debt based growth economic systme. The human race has been around for 250,000 years, at a significant lower population level. The human race will continue, but late stage capitalism may not.

I suspect that I am autistic, so I may be the wrong person to reply, but I'll do it anyway... Society is made up of competing narratives, norms, cultures, When it comes to navigating society, it's good idea to come to an understanding of what you prefer sexually and romantically, and then screen for people who match that. Also (referring to your interaction with a feminist) a lot of people try to bully people into being the way they want them to be, online and in relationships. Instead of unders…

I honestly think that is a core psychological motivation for reactionary movements. There is no cookie-cutter, one size fits all, non-context dependent comprehensive guide to dating and relationships, but that's what Conservatism/Red Pill ideology offers. Even some 'blue pill' (E.g. mainstream) advice tries to tell all men and all women how they 'should' be in dating and relationships. And it's what the movie Sinners brilliantly showed (The Occult Observer on youtube clued me into that being a c…

Bonnie isn't a hypocrite like the Red Pill men, so I don't think the comparison is fair in that regard. I've never heard it expressed that they believe it's because they can't get women their own age. There's a lot of variables when it comes to that statistic; age, income, education, religion or lack of, location, life satisfaction before entering a relationship, etc. 50% is an overview of an entire nation of 600 million. Statistics apply to large numbers, not individuals. People who make 6 figures, have a degree, who go to religious/spiritual gathering once a week, live in a high income neighborhood, and had a satisfying life before they got married have a very low chance of divorcing.

Rollo Tomassi is - from what I can tell - the architect of the Red Pill movement, and he endorses and collaborates with Fresh and Fit, Donovan Sharpe, and the Tate brothers, so that doesn't seem accurate to me. It's the locker room. It's men swapping notes. The Red Pill IMO is basically mixing PUA with Evolutionary Psychology - which is what Rollo did. 'Male dating coaches' and PUA seems to be more about men swapping notes, and locker room talk. ME PUAs don't engage in endless woman bashing, the…

I lived long enough to watch the obsession with ass becoming a thing. I've noticed push back from Gen Z on this, they seem to think that the obsession with ass is always how things have been. It lead me to realize the power of socialization, which is why I don't buy that attraction to specific kinds of body types is purely genetics, I believe it's epigenetics.

This is such a distortion of my argument. No. I believe the asymmetry is an issue, not the only issue I tried to be as clear as possible with my question. Being a fitness fanatic, then that is likely why you are attracted to abs on women. Many men who are fitness fanatics are attracted women who have some muscle definition - it's common IME. Men who aren't fitness fanatics often see abs or muscle definition on a woman as 'unfeminine' IME. Epigenetics.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/22 03:08 PM

I read those. Will you answer my question? 'Super progressive' guys are rare, most people IME are not hardcore political ideologues. We are talking about average peoples responses. You spoke about the average woman expecting a straight man, so she's not a Jerk for breaking up. So, seeing as the average male would see 30-50 as high, and might be tempted to break up, would you consider him a jerk? It seems you throw in caveats and variables when the woman is target for evaluation.

I just dont believe you can change sex drive by socialization to as large as a degree as stated. Sex drive doesn't equal what body shape and body parts you are attracted to. Epigenetics is what I'm referring to. How social environment can change in how genes work. There's soft wiring and there's hard wiring. You seem to be arguing that your love of ass and abs are hard wired, and I'm arguing they are soft-wired (shaped by exposure). IMO if you were raised in Romania you likely would not care abo…

fat asses are ugly, muscle asses are nice. Like I said, the focus on ass didn't exist for the high majority of white guys in the 80s and 90s. Muscle or fat asses, it didn't matter, they didn't focus on ass - the focus was on legs and tits. (Pamela Anderson in Baywatch was arguable the epitome of beauty in the 90s for the majority of white men in the west - blonde hair, big tits, and shapely legs.) I like how you avoided that part. The focus on the ass wasn't something a high majority of white in the west guys cared about pre-2010s. Or perhaps it's socialization? Like let's say you grew up in Korea, Ghana, or Brazil (maybe you did?), perhaps you would not have have a preference for white women more than other races. Let's say the topic doesn't come up, and then a year and half into dating she tells him she's slept with 30-50 men, do you consider the man a jerk for breaking up with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/22 09:56 AM
3

But even so, because of modern sexual liberation we don’t necessarily expect most women to have low numbers I think that most men would display shock on their face (meaning it was unexpected) if a woman they were dating or in a relationship said she had slept with 30-50 men. We can't be shocked by what we expect.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/22 08:23 AM

Whereas in the n count scenario, she can’t have assumed you wanted a specific number for her to have because everyone is different these days The bold is also true (depending on location, and generation). Gen Z seem to be more accepting of bisexuality. Some people want low numbers and some prefer higher. The high majority men I've known do not want promiscuous women as partners - you may not know this, IME a lot of men speak disparaging even about women they've slept with if the girl was 'easy…

Clever post. When men here write about wanting younger women, women with low n counts, or women who aren't fat there's is a lot of shaming. When women are posted not wanting bi men the highest rated posts are ones defending the preference.

I don't know. Hey man, This post from a transman might hit hard, he speaks about an ease to get emotional intimacy that he had before he transitioned, and how now he says both men and women are 'guarded' around him. Men are coddled. I like Warren Farrell's view of society, depending on context men and women have advantages and disadvantages. Women have arguably a significant advantage in terms of experiencing emotional intimacy, which I would argue is a core human need for a sense of fulfilment in life. Perhaps one of the reasons why we see such resentment rising in dating, is because it's one of the few avenues men get to experience intimacy (the other being avenues being sports teams and in the military).…

A woman does not gain reproductively from having many partners because she can only be pregnant from one at a time and the ideal would be to use the best existing nan every time. I've noticed that in the manosphere, they create untestable evolutionary biology narratives to justify their assertion. The issue is we can do that both ways, because we are just making narratives. "Human beings are a sexually dimorphic species. As such we find traits in the opposite sex that correlate with that sex and less with ours attractive." I think a lot of women date intuitively, and most seem to be uninterested in trying to imagine the dating market from a man's perspective. Nature or nurture - many women are high in agreeableness (politeness, friendliness - even if only superficial or self serving). Good dating advice can be diplomatic and empathetic, but it can't be bullshitting people to make them feel good (e.g. Lizzo is just as desirable to men in general as this girl https://twitter.com/nylalueeth_/status/152544537879527424…

I didn’t read morals or ethics into the OP. Unless you believe all prescriptions of behavior are moral prescriptions. Duty/Obligation regarding the well-being of other is inherently a moral prescription. But women and men are part of a collective with inseparable needs. Duty/Obligation is to do with morality/ethics. That's the context of this discussion. If you make the claim that it's a man's duty/obligation to do X, then you are making a moral claim. You are dictating how other men must live their lives.

How does sexual dimorphism and history mean that's an objective obligation?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 05:32 PM

Who assigned the responsibility? Why is it right for a woman to have that expectation? I'm not nitpicking, these kinds of questions are basic in ethical philosophy. When someone makes the claim that something is a responsibility, duty or obligation, then it's reasonable to ask them to justify their assertion - because they are trying to dictate how other people behave.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 03:57 PM

It's a fair question; who assigned this duty? Meaning; on what authority - or from what reasoning - is it an obligation for man to protect their woman? Because the concept of 'duty' is not mind-independent, it's not a physical property of the universe. Saying you think it's a practical arrangement, it's tradition, etc, is not the same thing as saying it's a 'duty', meaning obligation.

IMO being exclusively attracted to one race can be changed by the person if they want to, I don't believe it's like sexual orientation (i.e. conversion therapy not working). Men say it's women's fault for the way society is and women say it's men's fault. I've noticed there's 2 feminist perspectives on the patriarchy; Men sustain of the culture that supports the patriarchy. Men and women sustain the patriarchy. (e.g. The Handmaid's Tale portrays this. Men are the leaders of institutions, but women play key roles in sustaining the system - e.g. some of the wives and the aunts.)

Many men here and in the red pill keep pretending that if you follow the rules of life you get certain results. I honestly think society in general teaches us that; (some) religions, new age spirituality, productivity gurus ("keep grinding and you'll become a multi-millionaire"). We are taught 'rules' that will get rewards. Like you said, life doesn't follow formulas, and is more chaotic and probabilistic than they may have been taught.

No, I introduced nuance. I presented multiple reasons. Misogyny doesn't necessarily mean seeing women as inferior, it can simply meaning disliking or hating women. Benevolent sexism doesn't mean seeing women as inferior, it can simply mean believing women and men have different 'roles', and so 'should' behave differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 08:25 PM

In West, I can think of 0 institutional disadvantages that were created purely because men think women are inferior. That's a strawman, that's not what feminists claim. They aren't claiming that social or institutional disadvantages exist because men think women are inferior. Men may restrict, discourage, shame, or discriminate against a woman doing something out of a sense of superiority, misogyny, and/or 'benevolent sexism'.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 08:06 PM

I've had life long mental health issues, and so has my mother (though she has been stable for about 5 years due to meds). General advice is for the general population, so neurotypical people. It's understandable. Guys like us have dating on hard mode. When I was younger it was easier finding GFs, because IMO noone expects you to have your shit together, and people are far more forgiving of 'weirdness' IMO post school to early 20s, because the majority of the people in that age group are into exp…

I didn't say most intimacy was sex, what I said what that most people like sex because of the combination of the intimacy and the physical pleasure. It doesn't sound like the combination of the 2 is something you value, just the physical pleasure of the act, hence why you prefer masturbation to sex. The closeness during sex that couples in love report during sex is usually far deeper than when they just hug and hold hands.

Yeah, maybe she's really good at masturbating. However, IMO most people value sex not just for the physical stimulation but also the intimacy. If someone prefers masturbation to sex, then IMO they don't care about physical intimacy that much.

In fact masturbation orgasms feel twice as good as sex because there is more of a buildup, I feel more relaxed and they just feel better- idk why It honestly sounds like you haven't had great sex. Have you ever had multiple orgasms during sex (foreplay and penetration)? Men have a high sex drive due to testosterone.

I'd also argue tools are good. Both aid human civilization in numerous positive ways. I don't agree that tools have aided human civilization, it depends on how they are used. If you agree there can be bad uses of the tool, then how can the tool be inherently good? In a conversation about logic you can do better than this. Logical arguments being used as justification for what most people would consider evil or unlivable circumstances is very commonly discussed in ethical philosophy. I'm having a…

The premise was the preservation of human life but the three laws assumed all human lives are of equal value. Exactly, logic taken to it's cold conclusion from a premise. Something else I believe Asimov was trying to show was how pure logic applied to ethics leads always leads to back to is-ought problem, or simply logical incoherency. In order to save the child we would need to program; preserve human life, but prioritize younger human life. Then that leads to the abortion debate where d…

I agree that the Red Pill completely ignores mental health/emotional well being when making prescriptions for behaviour. What I think they care about is objective results (i.e. the woman stays with the man), not subjective experience (e.g. are the woman's emotional needs being met). African American Women and Native American women had a black pill subreddit. Interesting enough, I saw a long video from an Incel Black Piller who basically made the case that African-American women are practically t…

The problem wasn't logic but rather the premises. A better logic engine would have prioritized the life of the child. The premise is the preservation of life (one of the 3 laws in IRobot). I agree that if the premises were different then the outcome would have, but then that would create different issues. One of the key things I think Asimov was highlighting is that code will take any premise to it's logical conclusion, and seeing as human beings aren't very good at logic but AI can be flawless,…

I'd say that logic is good, but applying it in inappropriate situations is not good. IMO logic is a tool, neither good nor bad. Premises IMO can be good or bad, but logic is just a tool to reach conclusions from premises. There can exist 100% logical arguments for Nazism. People IMO are usually disagreeing with the value-hierarchy and premises the begin the reasoning process, not the flaws of the reasoning. Some big issues I have with the manosphere's obsession with logic are; The hidden premise that logical = good. Based on what? The belief that sentiment/feelings (i.e. values and emotions) are worthless or useless when discussing building a relationship with another human being, and building a fucking family! A casual narrative =/= logic. Logical reasoning takes a lot of training, and it's far more complicated than simply using words asserting causality in your language. No ethical system (i.e. g…

That's one philosophy of masculinity, a very popular and global one though. I highly recommend the book; Preventing Violence By James Gilligan and Bell Hooks writings on masculinity. I think it's more nuanced than that, based on attachment theory; some people have anxious attachment and so will chase someone who doesn't give them the emotional connection they crave, hoping that they can 'change them' (i.e. the 50 Shades of Grey fantasy). So even without emotional intelligence some women will stick around. There are women who are literally in LTRs or married to men who are outright assholes to them (though they of course have periods of affection, but affection isn't emotiona…

But if the core of masculinity is “exerting dominance over and subjugating others in my proximity, whether it be other men, and especially my female partner” you’re going to run into issues. It's like when Kevin Samuels asked women to rate themselves and some would say a 10. What I think they were doing was rating themselves based on their self image, not based on how they think they are evaluated by others. Another man having sex with your partner is IMO seen by (as Will Storr puts it) the 'imaginary crowd'/judges inside our minds and the judgements of male peers as being the ultimate act of male status destruction. A lot =/= the majority. It could be a high minority, like 30% or 40%. Amongst Gen Z it sounds like it could be a majority, due to them coming of age watching hardcore porn tubes and 50 Shades of Grey, along with BDSM going mainstream. It seems the younger women are more into being spanked, having hair pulled, choked and slapped. I'm guessing Boomer and Gen X women didn't request it that much. Screening tests = shit test in RP. Women saying or doing things to provoke a response, and then judging your response. I’m talking about men that are into younger women for more than just looks and red pill men often fall into that category. Thought you were discussing the same. Not all men like much younger women. I disagree with using Red Pill men as the standard for men who like younger women. I believe that most men (in the west) who like younger women, aren't Red Pill. It seems like we just have a fundamental disagreement on that. Based on OPs question, I believe that the majority of men would choose a woma…

So if red pill men think they’re high value then their videos on what they want are applicable to themselves are they not? Yes. I was talking men on average (in the West), not a small sub set of men though. I had the opposite experience. I experienced benefits and drawbacks with both. I agree there are positive and negatives. However, my life experience has taught me that older women generally are more likely to be vindictive. Karen's aren't young, usually.

Red Pill men IMO = 'playboy conservatives'. They also explictly say they are talking about what 'high value men' want, not what the average man wants. They openly say that 'high value men' are a small minority of men. They say that the majority of men are Betas. I don't think the majority of men (in the west at least) think like that. Looks are just one piece of the pie. The naïveté and all that comes with it is the other piece. For some men, no doubt. However looks + Openness to new experienc…

I'm not sure what you mean by "independence" but I'm guessing (based on hearing other women describe it) you mean a woman who score low on agreeableness and is financially self sufficient. There's plenty of women who score high on agreeableness and are poor who are mature. Also there are women who practice traditional gender roles who are mature and not independent, they can be found in practically every society apart from the West. You kind of negate yourself if it was about looks then the ma…

No, a lot of the desire for younger women is also based on their naïveté and impressionableness. It’s not just because of their looks. I've never gotten that impression from the most men (I'm not talking about Red Pillers). What I've gotten is it's primarily about looks, and I've even known men acknowledge that women 18-25 aged look great, but they are too immature for a relationship. This topic of course is difficult for a lot of women to deal with, so I think some think it's primarily about ma…

I don't think their problems would cease to exist, average men of all races seem to be reporting the struggle (in the West at least). The racepill IMO applies to any non-white minority in a country where their race isn't the majority, because their dating pool is smaller as a result. However, the Chad tier guys of any race don't have problems. I agree that it's a good idea not to be self-defeatist. Sincere 'blunt but friendly uncle' advice... The sooner you give up 'shoulding' people, the happier you'll be. Ultimately it's their life, and they have the right to make their own decisions. I'm not saying to never engage in discussion or debate with anyone (I do), but just that it's reality to recognize that ultimately everyone has the right to their own worldview. I've seen no evidence that 'shoulds' exist outside of people's minds. I leave that out of my vocabulary e.g. 'Should' 'have to' 'm…

I agree that dating is different, and harder, based on age. Honestly dude, sounds like your problem is your location. Where I live, I see young dudes who aren't as you describe with GFs (even pretty ones) literally every day.

the requirements to be able to get a first date, let alone be considered hot or dateable are significantly harder to meet. You have to be tall, in shape, stony jawline, hunter eyes, full head of hair, be able to grow facial hair, have a good voice, needs to have good bone structure and so many other qualifications. Where do you live that men who don't look as you described don't get first dates? Do you not see men who don't look the way you described with partners where you live?

I don't think we can discuss this properly on this sub. The 'experts' on this issue IME are found in 'the pill that can't be named'. That community discusses what is generally attractive to women, and what is 'niche' attractive to women, they also break down what women generally find attractive based on age. There's also a big race pill when it comes to physical attractiveness, which I don't think we can discuss (e.g. women around the world seem to get weak in the knees for men with blue or gree…

Men or women? Men have more access to lethal means like i said They're not killing themselves with guns. Men and women have equal access to quick ways of killing themselves. I can't go into details about means because I will get banned. However, it's not guns or hunting equipment, or anything that is normally a male interest/hobby. Your assumption is wrong. This is not exclusive to America, or any country where citizens have guns. It's literally the same around the globe. The only nation where men and women kill themselves at the same rate is China. In every nation except China, men outnumber women in suicide rate. This is a global issue. Gun ownership allowed or not, it doesn't make a difference.

I prefer Warren Farrell's analysis. Basically, in some areas women have advantages, and in other areas men have advantages. A big area women have an advantage is receiving empathy and compassion from people. Regarding mental health; Men commit suicide at 3-4 times the rate women do, men make up the majority of alcoholic, prescription, and illegal drug addicts. Also,…

There are men like Andrew and Tristan Tate who have sex with a lot of beautiful women. When the woke crowd criticises for them for disdain for women they only call them misogynists. If men are complaining about women, and blame women for problems, why (when they don't know a man's dating history) do they call them incels, and not simply misogynists? Most women can't enjoy penetrative sex. That's not true. Most women can't orgasm from penetrative sex, but that's not the same thing as saying that most women can't enjoy penetrative sex. You won't have to starve yourself to have an appealing body shape, and your weight actually might stay the same (muscle weighs more than fat), but after 6 months you'll look and feel significantly better even eating the same c…

IMO the problem is likely your location, even if you are below average face wise. Here in the UK overweight women of your age have no problem finding partners, IME. Regarding weight loss here's my unsolicited thoughts; based on rudimentary research there is a strong genetic component to weight gain and loss, it seems approx 80%. Not only do some people gain and retain fat easier than others, they also don't have a strong genetic 'off' or 'full' button in regards to overeating like people who don…

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience. >they don’t reply back when I start the conversation. How old are you? Are you overweight?

I believe the Gym will definitely help this guy, 3 years of hard natty training can create a very good physique. I predict that if this guy keeps up his self improvement journey there's no way he will continue to be an incel (especially if he Geomaxxes), and will have an online career helping other men climb out of incel status.

I'm a black guy, and I haven't seen any studies or data supporting the claim of your first sentence.

You've highlighted a big issue I have with the Red Pill. Statistics apply to large numbers only, and the Red Pill doesn't take into account variables or what Feminism calls intersectionality. Location, age, education level, race, religion, etc, all will change the application and interpretation of the prescriptions given by Red Pill pundits. What a high status man means to a girl who grew up middle class in Miami, is different from what high status man means to a girl who grew up watching her da…

. Women don't simp over dudes the way guys do to women Oh, they do. If you've ever been around a really attractive guy for long enough, you won't believe what you read (on their phone) and see. That's how I realized that I'm an averagely attractive guy, these guys literally had girls following them around in nightclubs - I'm not kidding.

That policy would actually IMO be the probably the best for managing emotions. IMO open relationships can lead to problems simply due to the sharing of experiences and attraction to other people. Probably best to just keep that away from each other, whilst still indulging... Thanks. You've given me something to think about. Very pragmatic approach.

Probably both. Both partners become less sexually responsive to each other over time, but women more so it seems. I saw Data on Gen Z and Millenial cheating, and it seems that males and females cheat at approx the same rate. It seems only in Gen X and Boomers do males cheat significantly more than women.

An observed phenomenon where mammals become less sexually responsive to the same partner over time, and their sexual responsiveness only becomes optimal again when a new partner is introduced. Basically, variety increases the strength of arousal and sex drive, and a long term relationship decreases the strength of arousal and sex drive.

That's something that I bring up to people. Males are the more violent sex by far, and we also have the physical advantage. As unpolitically correct or as terrifying as it may be for some to understand; anyone who has done combat sports and has felt the power difference between men and women in training knows that if the average man wanted to, we could easily physically over power practically any woman that we see. I no longer get annoyed when I see women display signs of being afraid of me in p…

Teens - Patriarchal, Misogyny based on Hip hop culture, and the peer culture of the boys I a grew up with. Early to mid 20s - Blue Pill. Whatever the mainstream said. Late 20s - MRA and Red Pill misogyny and anti-feminism, fuelled by a divorce and the 'revelations' about the events leading up to it. Early 30s - Purple Pill. Seeing positive and negatives, accuracies and inaccuracies, in the Feminist and Manosphere movements. I was too 'blue pill' for the manosphere, and too 'red pill' for Feminis…

“men get tired of fucking the same. It can take them anywhere for an hour to 18 mont Getting tired of banging the same woman doesn't mean that a person is going to cheat. It just means that for most couples the frequency of sex radically declines. This is near universal it seems, your marriage sound like an exception. Have you spoken to female friends of yours? Has your husband spoken to his male friends about this? Do they say they have sex just as much 10-20 years later as they did in the firs…

The book Cupid's Poisoned Arrow proposes a solution. Which is Karezza sex, which is sex without orgasm, whilst simultaneously involving biochemically bonding activities like cuddling, kissing, staring into each other's eyes, smiling, caressing, etc. I have a strong coolidge effect. An open relationship would be what I want going forward.

I think it's your London bubble. I have a close friend who live in London, and I lived in London for a while as a kid and visted there fortnightly for a year and half as an adult. IMO it's a different world compared to the rest of the UK. The socio-economic obsession of women that American RPers talk about IMO would sound ridiculous to most people who aren't middle class (outside of London at least).
