PWN the SAT by Mike McClenathan.

Men just need to have this shit drilled into their heads over and over until it sticks. We get a new crop of horror stories like this every week, and so many people still manage to think it won't happen to them. If you're married, or in an LTR, you need to appreciate that you could be fucking next.

NoMusic sounds depressing as shit. There are proven mental health benefits to listening to music, and if you can performing is a great confidence-builder.

Thanks for all the advice- I'll take it all to heart, especially the first 3. I've been thinking of my years there as, essentially, four years of 'monk mode,' given how little time I'll have off base and the risks of having another student there as even an ONS or plate.

Good luck- if you're already here then you've probably got the drive and work ethic to do well on your SATs. PM me if you need any more advice, and good luck to you!

I studied at home, but occasionally I would go to the library or a nearby park to do a few sets of questions. The change of scenery was nice, but when you work at home you have no excuses.

What a wild fucking ride. This is the kind of field report we need more of- specifics of how you escalated and handled shit tests, without dipshit bragging or extra fluff. Saving this.

First of all, fucking drop the ACT shit because you only need one test- colleges really aren't impressed by people who take both. I really only used three resources- Khan Academy's free College Board offical tests, their nearly unlimited supply of practice questions, and PWN the SAT by Mike McClenathan. That book is perfect for drilling down your weaknesses on math, with a guide in the back of the book that tells you what category your right and wrong answers are in. If you're struggling in Engl…

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely keep that in mind- this is a pretty new account that I'm mostly using for TRP, but getting tracked down on Reddit isn't a good time for anyone.

Thanks! I wish I could've started out scoring like that, I could've spent so many hours that summer working out or developing skills that would last beyond college admissions. That's the SAT struggle- hundreds of hours of prep for a test that stops mattering when you turn 18 and start college.

This is oneitis 101. She's not special. Read the sidebar and come back.

The fact that you give a shit means it's working. The best solution here is to get with other girls and make it clear you don't give a shit about her- beat her at her own game.

My advice is don't shit where you eat, and post this shit in asktrp.

Thank you! My super-score was a 1560 (780 on Math and English on two separate test days). I don't want to get too specific about college plans, what with doxxing and all, but I'm going to be starting at one of the US service academies this summer.

This is a really interesting post, and your central point is great- putting yourself in a situation with low-value guys and comparatively higher-value girls (especially girls who aren't used to attention from high-value men) makes these girls easy lays. That being said, your advice on being 'king of the nerds' is redundant with what it takes to promote yourself through virtually any social circle. Focusing specifically on being king of the nerds limits you! Just focus on making yourself a high-q…

The beer pong thing represents a broader principle: when you're really goddamn good at something, people are going to notice and they're going to like you for it. Whether you can salsa dance, or play guitar, or even fucking whittle, people like people who can do something interesting and do it well.

There's definitely a way to present Red Pill truths without handing someone the link to the subreddit. TRP at its core is simply the common sense of our fathers' and grandfathers' generations- just present it as conventional wisdom and people will be more inclined to see things your way and appreciate your advice. The thing that makes our subreddit so controversial is that it's an extremely concentrated dose of ideas at once- many of us looked at TRP for the first time and were horrified by how …

I want to start by saying you handled this well in the moment- you didn't allow yourself to do any BP shit like mate-guarding or getting mad at your brother. However, with that being said, there's no possible benefit to keeping this girl around. Next her and keep spinning those plates.

Good point, but don't forget that your priority on a date is having fun- the girl is just along for the ride (in more ways than one, if you escalate). If you're managing your time right, then a date is already time that you've set aside to enjoy yourself- just go ahead and enjoy yourself with or without some random-ass girl.

At what point during kissing do you just call a time out and start playing 20 questions? Even if you're BP to the core that's a de-escalation of cosmic proportions. Talk about blue balls.

No matter how right you are, the way you present the argument comes across as shit-talking and will be poorly received. It's important to learn how to be diplomatic, even when you know the other party is full of shit. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is a great read for this kind of thing. Best of luck!

Don't forget that it's going to take more than just cutting off the ex. Without an abundance mentality (it's in the sidebar, but the CliffNotes is basically just that you fuck lots of pretty girls), cutting her off just means that you're pining for her and wasting lots of time and emotional energy. Keep bumping up that SMV and get back out there!

This post, especially the section about going Ghost Protocol on her ass and ignoring her social media presence, brings up a useful point- staying off of social media all together. Instagram, Snapchat, and all those little shits get you caught up in other people's lives and entice you to waste hours of your time scrolling through petty bullshit. Want to avoid seeing Instagram pictures of your ex/oneitis? Take Instagram off your phone- not only will you avoid seeing her, you'll get back precious m…

Lots of good points here, but you have to appreciate that despite our knowledge of hypergamy and AWALT, there's a lot of variance in the quality of the girls out there. Clubs and bars are great places to find an ONS, but they're also great places to find STDs, violent boyfriends, and an abnormal psych textbook's worth of crazy girls. Plates and even FWBs are a mainstay of TRP sexual strategy, and those people should be at least somewhat reliable, pleasant to be around, and unlikely to give you d…

This is a reasonably good post, but you're only half right about the merits of where you go to meet girls. Clubs and bars have a scarcity of quality people, especially quality women, but a high SMV and good night game make it an easy place to pull an ONS or the occasional plate. If you're looking to find more stable and less degenerate plate material, as well as potential FWBs and LTRs, the places you suggest are great! Another perk of the places you've got on your list is that these are all a l…

This is 100% Grade A bullshit. Cooking is any functional adult's job- it saves money, lets you control your nutrition better, and makes you more independent, not to mention cooking for a girl at your place or hers is a fairly cheap and very convenient date that leaves very few logistical complications before you fuck her brains out.

This is the realest shit. By the end of TLJ he's just gotten out from under a manipulative, lazy boss to run his business himself, ditched his oneitis, and stopped whining about his family troubles to actually get shit done.

Tinder is a waste of time even if you're an 11/10 Chad ThundercockTM or whatever the fuck you want to call it. Instead of swiping on your phone and wasting time with flakes, princesses, and catfishes, go out into the real goddamn world and meet people. Got a hobby? Great! You couldn't be luckier to be in a big city, where there's almost certainly a niche of people who share your interests. Haven't got a hobby? Find one! It's simple, just think of something you like doing, then do it with other p…

Meet lots of new girls. Go on lots of dates. Get your dick wet once in a while. The source of oneitis is a scarcity mentality- you need to fully convince yourself that neither this girl nor any pleasure or enjoyment she provides, whether sexual, mental, or emotional, is special. The way to do that is by building abundance.
/r/TheRedPill14/04/18 08:39 PM

I'm glad TRP is helping you get over this girl, but reading our stuff whenever the oneitis hits is only a temporary solution. Do you really want to shake that shit off? Approach girls. Fuck girls. Build an abundance mentality. Once you've done that, you won't even need to distract yourself from this girl.

There's always a possibility that you could escalate, but being around "the one," when you're still very much suffering from oneitis, is rarely a wise idea. Talking to her, kissing her, whatever, is far more likely to keep you attached than it is to get closure. Leave her alone and try escalating with the multitude of other women that you don't have oneitis for.

"Next time you see her tell her or kiss her or whatever" is terrible advice. Just have the strength to walk away- talking about your feelings, especially with someone who's just a a crush in the end, is not a man's territory.

You want to know how to fix this? Start acting like the best version of you isn't a year ago- it's next year. Set consistent goals to improve (maintenance is good, but it can't be all you do), and you'll find that sooner or later you won't be so impressed with who you were a year back.

Here's a little food for thought for all of you- doesn't matter how old you are. Even with scarily well-broadcasted emotional baggage, atrocious game, and seemingly a fairly low SMV, a handful of RP principles--DGAF attitude, confidence, and putting yourself first--goes a damn long way. Now just think how much more OP's dad, or anyone else reading this post, could 'slay the game' by getting in shape, learning game, and certainly not dumping your emotions on women you're trying to fuck (Stoicism,…

Positive: Started getting my shit together around working out, using 5/7 days this week for lifting, intense cardio, and pushups/pullups despite a busy school schedule. Worked on a couple of independent writing projects and started trying to contribute around TRP, lots of ideas floating around for when my account is approved to post. My once-nonexistent approaching skills are starting to look up, I got a handful of numbers. My favorite approach, though, was one that flat out rejected me- and I j…

Getting on someone's "good side" before you fuck is classic BP. If you tease, escalate, and keep your frame together, the attraction will be there and you've got a good chance of ending up on top of her no matter what side of hers you're on.
/r/TheRedPill14/04/18 01:46 AM

Yes, if you're in good shape with strong frame/confidence, and generally have your shit together, you're going to put yourself squarely in the top 20, but there's no reason (excuse?) to stop there. At this point, you still have a lot of improvement to do- with more lifting, more approaching, more reading, more of everything, you are eventually going to move up into the top 15, 10, and 5 percent. /u/TheProphetPhysiquiel is technically correct--a decent work ethic and basic application of TRP prin…

It's not that simple- you're not just going to finish a set of squats one day and have someone walk up and hand you your Top 20% card. Just constantly work towards improving yourself (lift and lose body fat, build career/finances, develop confidence, etc.), and you'll start to see the effect you're having on women.
