Very true at a certain point the number becomes arbitrary, a lightbulb just goes off in your head and you're like "what's the point of all this effort"? Also I am at the age where I have to think about settling down, obviously not right now, but I considered where do I want to be in 3-4 years?

It should be, though I think a lot of men still struggle with what I call "video game logic", they think to themselves "if I keep trying, hitting the restart button, give her enough attention, say the right thing, eventually she will like me"

That begs the question how would I go about that? Should I just text her in like 6 months and be like "you still single or what" or do I kind of build to that with more "hey what's up with you long time no see texts"?

Eh I actually do alright for myself, problem is it's a massive numbers game, I get a decent amount of likes on tinder maybe about and through cold approach, but women either ghost or just don't want to meetup. Frankly it's just exhausting atm, idk if it's because of covid or what. Just wanted a way to increase my ROI.

C'mon that's the advice women always give "just be yourself". You had to have some "killer instinct" or something that allowed you to be so successful with women, I understand if you're adamant in your belief though and won't press any further, can you at least offer like 1 tip or something?

I think if a guy is respectable and can take no for an answer there is nothing wrong with approaching a women, you'd be suspired how often on Reddit men write that they approached a women at the gym, on the street etc, and get a date from it.

So basically the entire human speices will go extinct because men shouldn't approach women who are strangers?

See thats the thing, I want you to picture the guy you want to be approached by, I imagine this guy is not a douche, he is kind, conisderate, etc. Now when women write stuff like never appaorach us, that is really only going to disuade guys who take your feelings into account in other words, if a guy is a jerk and reads that women don't want to be approached, he is going to be like "nah screw that, I'm still going to do it", but the guys who you want to be appraoched by are never going to becaus…

Nice to see posts like these every now and again. I think way too many men are influenced by what they read on subreddits like r/askreddit or r/TwoXChromosomes where basically the general consensus among women is "Never approach me! Not in the street, not in the grocery store, not even in the bar!". Sure sometimes you have to read body language and determine if a woman is really not in the mood to be approached, but to say "never approach us" is just ridiculous.

If you're struggling with confidence I recommend making a tinder, even if you're below average in looks you're going to get a lot of likes.

I think you have to consider where men might come from. For example, on one of the askreddit threads where the question was "What sucks about being a man?". Do you know which response was one of the highest upvoted? This one "having women become less attracted to you for having feelings, then being told toxic masculinity is your fault". Now even if this hasn't happened to every guy, I'd bet money that many men at least fear that this will happen to them. They don't want to lower their "frame" be…

You're getting downvoted but you raise a point. Plenty of men who are basically misogynistic pull a lot of women, after a close, they always say something like "you should have seen this bitch, slut, etc I pulled last night." Why is this? Because since they see women as beneath them and thus they are way more confident, relaxed, and forward when it comes to them.

Don't want to be a Negative Nancy, but don't set your expectations too high. Girls give out their numbers for a variety of reasons, they didn't want to reject you publicly, they might just want you to leave her alone, etc. But dating is a numbers game, the more you put yourself out there the more likely you will find success.

Several reasons More risks for women when they have sex, they are the ones who get pregnant and thus have to be more selective. Why risk getting pregnant from a 6/10 dude when you can at least be with a 10/10 Competition, online dating is mostly men, I believe tinder is 70% men and 30% women Men are the ones who have to be initiators, it's can be harder for a lot of men to go up to 50 women get rejected, and still have the confidence to keep going, women, on the other hand, can just wait until s…

There are so many r/relationship_advice posts where the girl is like 24 and posts about her +34-year-old husband or boyfriend, I would say you're fine. If anything the rule is half your age plus 7 so 24 is fine.
/r/seduction05/09/20 07:39 AM

Yes, 24 hours is nothing, especially for us guys, ask any dude here and they probably have had to wait even 5+ days for a response. It's still the middle of the week so he probably got busy, sidetracked, or isn't fully sure when he will be free, so he doesn't want to give you a soon to be false answer.

The Dating game has changed drastically compared to a few decades ago. In the 1960s-1990s you were limited by the people you knew, friends of friends, and the people you met at bars, parties, clubs, etc. There was also the sexual revolution of the 60s which helped get rid of the stigma, but then the AIDS epidemic hit in the 80s and made everyone more cautious. Then when everything started to bounce back, you get this whole slut-shaming idea, which inhibits the game as well. Now women can make ti…

Because girls don't need to? Even if your average or below-average if you go to bar/club, you are going to get approached, especially if you give IOIS, and if you make a tinder you're going to get 200 matches a day. Men are the chasers, while women are the selectors. I compiled a brief overview below on how each sex can best succeed in the dating world. Rules for men Be handsome Be confident Have money Have a six-pack Have interesting hobbies Be funny Be 6 ft+ Rules for women Don't be fat

You shouldn't be working out and developing yourself just for girls, you should do it for yourself. And if you do have a below-average face, yes that is one strike against you, no reason to give women anymore by being boring, or scrawny/overweight or having bad teeth. Glasses or certain haircuts can also help turn a below-average face into at least average. I get it certain things are out of our control, like our faces (and believe me I dislike my face) or height, but that shouldn't stop us from…

Copying my past comment OLD can work but you have to very very good looking because those apps by nature are superficial. You can't really express your personality with a short bio, and 4-5 pictures, so all people see are your looks. And even if you get a match here or there women always have options on OLD (I think Tinder is like 30% women and 70% men), so if you are not at the top of your game you are just going to ghosted because she got 1000 matches waiting for her, and odds are one of them …

A girl giving you her number means absolutely nothing, guys ask for their numbers all the time, dm them on Instagram daily, they have hundreds if not thousands of matches on Tinder waiting for them so plenty of times they will give you their number (or a fake one) so you leave them alone. I have had a good amount of short approaches where I thought I did terrible in (bad eye contact, stuttering, etc) and they will still reply to my first text. Off the top of my head Barney Stinson- How I met your mother Joey- Friends Boomhauer- King of the Hill Honestly, I was probably too harsh in my first comment, you can model whoever you want, but just try to take context into account. Iron Man is a poor model imo because he is a billionaire, and he is a super-hero in that universe, two things that are almost impossible to be in real life. Barney Stinson in comparison has a well-paying job obviously but he isn't a billionaire and doesn't go to the…

Unpopular opinion: Iron Man is not a good model to follow for one reason, he is a billionaire, he could be the ugliest sad sack on the planet, but will still get laid because of his money. I would rather model someone who is a little more realistic. And plenty of fictional characters are more realistic than him.

Also used to Even ask some women for feedback when I was new and knew they were just being nice, though I rarely do now because I know if I do that, it solidifies me as non fuckable and hopeless at least in her eyes. This all gets really easy when you realize that girls are wimps, they're terrified of rejection, and will follow your lead and play any role you want them to. I have to disagree with this part. Girls are not terrified of rejection unless the man is very high value like top 5%, girls don't care if they get rejected because thanks to Tinder they have 4000 rebounds waiting for them. If a 7 guy rejects a 7 girl her first thought isn't going to be "omg he rejected me, how is that possible?". Her firs…

Then what's the point of me doing the non-nerdy shit? One of the cornerstones of this sub is to have hobbies besides playing video games because it gives you something to talk about and it makes you more interesting. I mean don't you ask dates what they like to do? And even is its underwater basket-weaving I ask how did you get into that?
/r/seduction18/11/19 05:41 AM

I wish more girls were as direct as you lol, thank you for your input.
/r/seduction18/11/19 03:11 AM

Now I'm intrigued because I'm guessing you're a woman. I have to ask, when you look for casual sex, what do you mean by straight to the point? Like if a guy approached you at a bar and he was an 8/10-10/10 would you just say to him "come home with me" or drop easy hints, or would you least talk to him for 30 mins or whatever?
/r/seduction18/11/19 03:06 AM
2

Regardless, I’m not sure why you would be talking about Star Wars on a date. Because a lot of advice of this sub (even when your goal is just casual sex) is to just be yourself, be passionate about what you talk about, and a common conversation topic is movies or simply the question "what are your interests or what do you like to do?". I mean I'm obviously not going to go up to a girl at a bar and say "I'm topgun157, I thought you were cute and I like Star Wars".
/r/seduction18/11/19 03:01 AM
1

Well, I seriously doubt I or 99% of men can just go up to women and get sex, unless it's Tinder or something and you put in your bio "I only want sex" and you're in the top 5% of men in terms of looks, money, etc. We have to build some rapport and talk about some of our interests, especially on a first date. Unless there is some strategy I'm missing here lol.
/r/seduction18/11/19 02:57 AM

Intriguing I always try what I think Tony Stark would do, but I have a couple of questions, so how did you approach women, did you use a pick-up line? And where did you go looking for women? (daygame, clubs)

And if you don’t feel like you can open up that part of yourself, is it even really worth a relationship pursuing? I'm sorry I should have mentioned I'm more interested in casual sex atm, though I'm not opposed to a relationship, so do you think your advice still applies in that case?

Don't women hear compliments all the time and they just automatically think you have an ulterior motive when you say them? She already knows how hot/beautiful she is so telling her she is just feeding her ego and makes you "lesser" and everyone else is already telling her that so it's unoriginal, lame, and makes you like every other guy

Some advice, with the "?" you sent, girls pick up on that as needy and defensive. Instead, wait a bit, maybe a day or 2 (not sure how long you waited) re-engage with her a funny story, image, etc. Now she said she will let you know because of A) she is too nice to tell you she isn't interested or B ) She is looking at other options and maybe you'll be the only guy that's available to her.

In my subjective opinion, yes there is a double standard but it's not amoral. I think it's easier for an attractive woman to approach a man and get him interested, compared to an attractive man approaching a woman. Yes, there are men who will be "old-fashioned" and object to being the one approached, but for women, there is no game to be practiced because you are already masters at it. Men in society are expected to be the pursuers so they have more to prove and have to better than average, whil…

To provide an example for OP, let's say a girl says she likes idk Maroon 5 instead of immediately agreeing (I like them too, I always like x about them), say something like "oh you like Maroon 5 I might have to leave now", with a playful teasing tone, this allows the girl to validate herself to you and create way more sexual tension.

Almost every women's advice for men is "just be yourself!". Of course, many women also say they favor personality/confidence over looks, but countless social experiments have debunked that. Confidence is extremely important, but looks are what get you in the door to use that confidence imo.

Nah I mean in my experience women are the ones who don't treat men like people, since they are the ones who ghost a lot or reject men in humiliating/disrespectful ways. Of course, some men don't treat women like people of course but also they are the ones who are more successful with women (PUAs for example)

I really do appreciate your post, but you have to understand something, women in the context of dating don't make much sense. It's really alarming to me that people actually have to write books on the subject of dating or picking up women because it's become that complicated. Literally look up on Reddit all the problems men have with dating (ghosting, flaking, harsh rejections, being used as a free meal ticket, just off the top of my head) while the two problems women seem to have is either they…

You know what's weird I just got a notification about this now. But wow she swiped on the top 12% of guys, of course, it's going to be a waste of time. Even other women admit how easy Tinder is for them, this one guy on Reddit and his girlfriend made profiles and swiped right until they ran out of swipes over 3 days, he had like 20, she had 200.

Exactly, women are more relaxed because they expect to be approached or at least talk with people.

" My dude, they are already married, you have all the potential, I don't know if you would prefer a bunch of one-night stands or to focus more on meaningful relationships, but you still have time. I suggest looking up r/datingoverthirty and cut down on masturbation it lowers your testosterone and demotivates you,…

How often do you go out to meet women? How often do you approach women in a given night? How would you honestly rate yourself in terms of looks, fashion, and confidence?

In those 4 hours, where/when did you usually approach? Like after work would you just bar hop, and on the weekends you would go to meetups?

It depends, in my opinion buying drinks for a girl gets your foot in your door, but she will quickly slam that door right in your face if you show that the buying her a drink is a massive crutch for you. Guys probably buy drinks for her all the time, it's up to you to separate yourself from the rest, engage with, gauge her interest, see if you can escalate. Of course, every girl is different and there is no full-proof method, do whatever works best for you.

Even when I was with the "love of my life" for three years whenever we would have sex, as soon as I finished I would always think to myself "I'm putting in all this effort for that?" (meaning working out, paying for meals, etc) . The sex was great 99% of the time, but idk man it just almost always had that feeling, not sure if it's just hormones, PN clarity, or something else.
/r/seduction17/06/19 03:12 AM

Not asking to be a dick, but do you have an example video of this? I feel like most PUA on Youtube just edit out their rejections so it makes it look like they have a 100% success rate.

Approached dozens of women over a couple of months, even the 4-5s have boyfriends, it's so easy for them since they always have a line of guys waiting for them, especially on dating apps and guys are always willing to settle for sex (not judging I do it too). I have gotten a few numbers but I would say a good 80% of women I approached were taken.

For males, if you're not in the top 10%-20% in terms of looks, Tinder is a lost cause, it will either take too much effort or time, or you just have to get extremely lucky.

Strict upbringing instilled belief that you treat women with respect, always put their needs first, realized how toxic that is in reality. Media and tv influenced me to believe that nice guys don't finish last which I realized is bs.
