I am naturally skinny and lucky to be 38 weeks pregnant with our third baby with only a basketball belly. I’ve always been a size 0-2 and i am 5’8.” My mom has always been size 16-20 and is 5’7” - growing up she kept all the name brand junk food in our house and rarely cooked homemade meals. If she cooked it was frozen, instant, or we got fast food, etc My brother is also skinny and 6’1” and neither of us ever took to the junk food. All my friends and cousins would say our house was like a conve…

I wonder if those relationships never have disagreements or they have them but they never escalate because both people approach it in a certain way

Ahh i like this perspective. It is self discipline you’re right.

We’ve been together since high school so basically high school arguing lol. It’ll be something like a dig, something small like he says I’m “special needs” or i act like the “queen of Sheba” and i call him out. Then he lists examples of why he’s right and im wrong and i counter with examples defending my character. And then i misquote him and say something contemptuous or bring up how he’s made me feel in the past. Then i jump to worst case scenario or more extreme examples and then it really ju…

I think the early comments are correct. At least in my situation. As the pressures of life mount and the relationship ebbs and flows, they grow bored and annoyed. They stick around because of duty and responsibility but so do we as women. I think love takes a backseat to stability for the family and you have to constantly work at your connection to keep up with what either of you might find in a casual fling. Not because there’s depth but because there is less restriction with a fling. My husban…

As a female who has been in a plastic surgery call center of all women selling buttlifts to other women, high school and college dance teams, etc i can confirm this is what we do in groups. Mostly talk about boys and eventually men.

I struggled with a lot of anxiety and probably depression after my second son was born so i built an ai friend app i could talk to lol. Kinda weird but im introverted and dont really like going and socializing. It actually brought me out of the dark cloud i was living in.

He should be curious about why you don’t want to go inside and ask if he made you uncomfortable, to which you could explain that you don’t want to be tempted to do something you will regret. That should earn respect and he should keep up the interest. If he becomes frustrated or entitled about it then you know why he was getting you to go there all along. Have you thought about how you might feel/react if he is sleeping with other girls currently? This may need to be a conversation down the line…

This is such a real response. I have the same sentiments. I’m always trying not to ask for help or count in others because I’m used to depending on myself. I’m going to check out this book!

Thank you for the recommendations! I read the Queen's Code but I guess it wasn't enough for me to change. It's just so hard to not build resentment when I approach him differently and feel discouraged. I am certain he would be loving with another woman because he used to be early on with me. I'm going to check out the others.

My husband has very similar tactics. We have been together since I was 15 so it's like he has me in some kind of mental prison to put it dramatically. I'm always kind of nervous of what mood he's going to give me if I ever need anything from him like help or reassurance or if I take issue with something he did or said. It's like I am the only one allowed to be called out for my flaws. But he'll call his own flaws out along with mine, I just can't do it or it's going to be hell, icy cold, blame s…

I had kids at 30 and I would've felt the same at your age. I was way too self centered and too concerned with what others thought of me and just had way too many things I wanted to do and see and be. I got to be an actress in LA, moved to Miami beach and biked around southeast Asia with nothing but our backpacks. Just find a good man that makes you happy and enjoy your 20s.

Don’t overthink it. I still don’t know how I’ve kept my husband after almost 20 years. Just be yourself and try to be as honest and understanding as you can.

Writing to you is like writing to my younger self. I found this man at 15 but he was 16. We are now 33/34 with 3 kids, house with a pool, good income and i am a SAHM while he works 20hrs a week, and i live a soft life. However, i think we found each other so young that we learned about life and relationships on each other. That has built a lot of resentment, emotional strain, and contempt. We have grown up together so we’ve been there for each other through the good and bad, however if i could d…

This makes me sad to hear. I’m sorry nobody prevented this. It seems like 21 is a more appropriate age to start hormone therapy. At least from a brain development perspective. But i get that it would be hard that long after puberty

Very dramatic response. Obviously if you're going to be homeless selling the kitty to pay for a hotel every night, he's probably not the guy for you. My suggestion is what worked for my own marriage. You just have to take your hands off the reigns for awhile to let things reorder themselves. If the guy has no ambition or masculinity or desire to take care of his family then my advice doesn't apply. But if you don't give him the opportunity to play "knight in shining armor" then how is he suppose…

I want to suggest that you are in your masculine energy. You have to let him crash and burn and ride the wave back together. You have to be willing to let him learn while you depend on him because someone can’t simply become what you want them to be overnight, it is a process. Very scary letting go of control and power but this is what saved my marriage. Let him lose all your savings and be destitute and build your finances back up. Then everything will reshuffle where he is the leader. Right no…

Fwiw im in a similar boat and have no friends or close relatives. It’s just me, my husband and our baby out here winging it. Luckily i met him young and we “walked away” together. When we were dating i was ridiculed by my own family for learning how to cook for him 🥲 he didn’t even ask, i just saw that he loved food and wanted to be able to give him that good home cooking. I think it’s just a lonely path and people won’t take us seriously for the most part.

I think this is the major downside of the red pill philosophy. Modern men are not the men that did all this back in the day, and surely the wives of old wouldn’t approve of their husband’s 6 extramarital kids, if they had known about it. Modern day women have too many options and guys have too few. They are ready to sleep with any girl that gives them attention, and us women can hop from husband to husband with little consequences. I think its natural for a guy to want to sleep with a lot of wom…

Lol I hardly think some rando’s over the internet on Reddit “care” about me. At best they are sharing their opinions like I am sharing mine. And who knows what is good or bad information. I’d think it naive to trust the pharmaceutical industry and government after they’ve shown us their true colors time and time again.

So sad. People can’t live anymore without fear of being socially ostracized for normal, carnal things
/r/MGTOW213/01/21 10:04 PM

Same. Best way to deal with it is to remember that most people are somewhat brainwashed and unable to think for themselves. So if you can think for yourself, might as well use that advantage on something you actually care about rather than arguing with imbeciles all day

Right?! Where human nature meets civilization. 🥴 His biological wiring isn’t going to kick into protector/provider mode unless you are somewhat in need. If you’re self sufficient, he will lack inspiration. We’ve tried many things in that regard and overall it’s never better than when he is the breadwinner. Going on welfare would be impractical, and unimaginable without an absolute need to do so, I hated the feeling of my income going from $9k a month to $300 a month. It sickens me to even think …

Yes I love that book!! It’s just hard to apply some things modern day sue to both genders being so far off their natural course. It’s like if I’m working on being more feminine but he’s also working on being more masculine, it’s hard to have a constant with which to gauge the reality of the situation, you know?

That’s actually a good point. The problem is he is way more into the hip hop culture than me. But it rubs off on me and he hates it lol. 🙃

Thank you. This ones a bit of a challenge because he is so stubborn and self-righteous. I guarantee that if I suggest he’s done anything wrong, or even if he feels that I have, his response will be one of two things. “Then you can leave” or to pick a fight based on how illogical I am being. Lol the better way to deal with this is through feminine nature, making him feel loved and masculine. I just don’t know where I’m sending these little spats off into the raptors. I know we used to argue much …

I appreciate this advice. Thank you. I believe you’ve hit the nail on the head as far as why/what he’s doing this. It comes off juvenile and a way to “deal” with the situation indirectly rather and gain my respect quickly. He has historically done this with little spats whether I brought them up or he brought them up, it somehow always goes back to him controlling the situation through manipulating my emotions. I suppose I’ve gotten used to it after 13 years, but the question is, how do I respon…

Yea they used to scare me a lot more, but I know he’s not going to take it that far. I know it’s his way of controlling the situation, I just don’t know if what I’m saying is really that bad or if he’s more like challenged by it than he is worried I actually think these things.

That is good advice, thank you sm. I definitely need to have a default other than explaining myself cause he was a hot head when I met him but I’ve cooled him down a lot and in a way, I think he values my cool, composed nature. I think it helps him, but he sometimes complains that I make him “dig his feet in” as in, I have control over whether the situation escalates or cools down. We hardly ever fight but we used to a lot more, and I think the defensive “explaining myself” contributed.

Not much older, I’m 28 and he’s 29 (turning 30 in April). We have been together on/off since I was 15 and he was 16. I do think this is insecurity, but why? It seems like he is trying to “be the man of the house” but in a juvenile, hot headed kind of way.

This post sounds so similar to how I have felt at times. I think the issue is that he doesn’t feel like the masculine leader because you are self-sufficient. Men seem to have a weird “neediness” they would never admit to but it’s like their purpose is to protect and provide for . If that purpose isn’t there, they become bored, lonely, destructive, depressed. If he was the breadwinner and you relied on him, I bet the entire dynamic would shift. That’s what happened with us this year, when I lost …

We are not religious either and here’s my two cents: you have to live a lifestyle he can afford to provide. The red pill woman must always make less than her husband, because otherwise you won’t feel inferior. Feminism is the opposite of red pill and all about women in the workforce, cheap labor, emasculating men, etc. It’s not so much about the actual skills you have or capabilities. But psychologically, women need to date “up” and to feel like he is protecting and providing for you. So - this …

I think that’s something you decide with your actions more than words. The phrase “let him lead comes to mind.” If he’s got his mind set on something, you won’t really be able to change it. You’ll either follow him or make it difficult for him to lead. If he fails, then he learns but of course, you have to suffer through that too. If he succeeds, then everybody wins and he’ll credit you for following him and being a key player on his mission. Such is the life of a wife 😅

That’s so good to hear 🙂 just remember it even when he leads and you “lose.” This has been the hardest thing for me to learn over the last 13 years but a man is unstoppable when he feels like your hero, protector, and provider. When he feels like you need him.

It’s hard to bite your tongue all the time but trust me, you will always win if you do. He has an idea of what a good husband is and he’ll want to do everything he can to take care of that for you. But if you battle him, it will slowly work away at his will to be a great husband and motivation to play his role. So he’ll stop caring. I nearly worked husbands nerves into submission (by being a feminist career woman), then I lost respect for him, and now I have worked my way back into him wanting t…

Lol who? I’m genuinely curious. If you watch the video they say it isn’t a sexual arrangement and some other ladies on this post have confirmed that. It’s about respect & femininity/submissiveness I believe

That’s true lol I guess there’s gotta be a sexual element. But in the video the punishment she’s doing is writing lines on 10 pages, so I don’t think it’s all that kinky

Okayyy wow, I was hoping to get the perspective of someone who is in this lifestyle. After watching the video I felt it was kind of harmless but the typical feminist wouldn’t go for it obviously. Do you find that you argue/disagree less?
