That is called nagging. There is a very wicked purpose for that repetitive behavior. And it is to drain the life, will, fighting spirit out of you and make you submissive and docile to the point that you need to ask permission for doing everything in that house. Tell her to to see a couple therapist. You need peace at home.

The way it works is that when the kids are with him there is no objections or someone as an antagonist on his views of their education.

You may want to consider moving to another state, sounds like she has everything on her side. If she was able to use the guy that serves documents as her witness looks like she has connections at levels that you won't be able to fight. I guess you will have to get ready for the worst, she wants you in prison, the next thing she will do it is to call your job about this and get you fired. That woman really wants you down. Think very deep on the strategy you will use to restore your life to some d…

There is nothing you can do, I been there and it is ridiculous and will never make sense but she will find something to complain about it. If is not your schedule, will be your coworkers, if is not that will be the money or something. Don't pay her attention and tell her that she should spend more time in the kitchen thinking about receipts for good food that trying to find some lame excuses to complain about you.

Once the divorce is consolidated and if you don't have some kind of legal agreement you should be able to cut that stuff

Let the judge decide, divorced women are freaking out because the law are giving men 50/50 custody more than ever.

Decline that deal. It is actually gross, when they do that they please the other dude with treats that surely she didn't offer to you in a long time. She turned into a broken used good. Time to let go.
/r/Divorce_Men04/12/24 01:30 PM

Sorry you are going thru this. I read before that you will have to defend your self over and over. The thing is that at some moment the judge will say "this again lady, you are full of shit" and dismiss the case and her own lawyer will decline to help her. Of course that until that will happen is going to be a while. Ask your lawyer if he is familiar with your judge and if it posible for the same judge to see your case in a regular basis

Do you pay any support to your ex? How much of the money you make do you have available for your use? You have to let them go, the love you feel for your kid is not letting you find peace. You have to think that hopefully one day the kid will understand or at least try to connect with you somehow to hear your side of the story, until that happens you have to continue with your life. It is good that you have roommates, and friends that help. Might be really worst if you would be completely alone.…

You need at least a lawyer, that amicable divorce should involve a lawyer to create fair conditions between both of you. If not she is going to try to manipulate you.
/r/Divorce_Men24/11/24 11:03 AM

My guess is that you are going to have to defend your case to the best of abilities in the court. You can say that you want an environment of good behaviors and disciplines to upbring your daughter and that you have evidence that your wife is not fit for that. But the chances are that the judge may say that what ever your x does at the movie theaters belong to her private life and as long as she doesn't bring that to home your daughter would be fine. You can always try.

Sounds like she already talked to a lawyer because that is how usually goes. Talk to your lawyer to see what your options are . But according to my knowledge you may probably have to: - sell the house and give her equity part. - pay her equity cash out off your pocket. - refinance and some how pay her equity part over the time

It sucks, the system is rigged to really discourage people from divorcing and that is wrong. The system should encourage people to pursue happyness, it will be less crime and other problems.

To tell you the true you never know, I thought I new my stbx for 10 years before getting married. Right after the wedding she became her real self, total different person. That's why I said what I said. I remember being sad because of heartbreaks in the past, specially the first one. Then I thought I found love and I signed up for a ball of problems. Now I realize how deep marital problems can get that crying for a silly girlfriend sounds like a joke to me. Sometimes I wish that my problems would be simple as the first 💔.

Crying for an ex is something I did when I was 19 and naive. Now I cry for my freedom.

Sounds very strange, they can't force you out without a court order, and even if that would be the case why would she have moved to her mother's place? Is the house empty? Then, don't buy anything until divorce is consolidated because still is a martial asset and half of that belongs to your spouse. Get a lawyer asap and get child support and spousal support setup. You guys need to split your finances soon. Block the credit cards and limit her access to money or you will find your arcs empty.
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/24 08:36 AM

In theory yes but in practice is more difficult than that. What about if the kids don't want want to come with you and trying to get them end in a dramatic situation. The mother is already working on their minds against him.
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/24 08:28 AM

You can spect that half of the money you make will go to her until spousal support ends (that could be years). Then she it will get better untill your kids turn 18. Then she will try to sue you to pay their college. Welcome to the divorced man world.
/r/Divorce_Men12/08/24 04:21 PM

You can apply for snap and section 8, after the facts. After the divorce about half of your wedges will go to her. Once this settles do paint work for cash on the weekends. But believe me, living alone you will be able to save even if you make less because she actually makes the bills higher
/r/Divorce_Men06/08/24 10:58 PM

I heard than you could qualify for section 8 and snap. That you can give them your income after all the crap that you have to pay. Give it a try, you may get something from there.

I dated my current stbx for 10 years, once we walked down the aisle she became a different person. She dropped a hammer of rules and expectations and stopped working. That changed everything in our lifes, in the beginning of our dating time as some time she told me that she didn't want to work and I talked her to keep doing it, we dated 10 years until getting married, when she stopped working I was like this is who she really was and just pretended to be a working person only to convince me to g…

It is really sad your marriage collapsed due to other causes than money, I mean; your financial situation is remarkable. I'm about to go thru a divorce because my wife doesn't want to work at all and wants me to pop money magically. My whole household is less than 80k. And we struggle being 4 people. You and your stbx are making money that I could only wish for, but then this potential infidelity showed up.

So sorry both of you are going thru this unfortunate events. I hope you can figure out what happened, but if there is no infidelities or drug use I guess you have to be considerate, supportive and wear a condom for the rest of your life. A course you didn't call but is there.

Just for the heck of it DNA test both kids. When people live with that illness that long without giving it to you is because she has been taking medication. If she's been doing that she new she had the virus long time ago.

Just listen to her. If she doesn't want to live together before marriage. She wants to hold sex until the wedding. Is she a person of career?, does she have a job or love what she does for a living? To many fears or fobias, insecurities. Weird behaviors are a sign that she may not be ready for adult responsibilities and she may never will. If you think that there is something weird with her character leave, don't stay because of sex or for lack of options.

I wouldn't care, after the upcoming divorce I won't give a F what she does otherwise if it involves the kids.

That sounds like it would be the greatest revenge of a resentful woman. I heard and personally know some cases of moms that vanish with their kids. A guy I know lost his daughter, her mother took her out seas and he never heard of them again. Another one that I very personally know kept the kid away of his father by using lies against his name, 40+ years later she finally changed her version of the facts. The friend of a friend one day arrived to his apartment and found it empty, the mother left…

God or any other supposed divinity are not responsible for human behaviors so don't be upset with your God because of her. This kind of stuff can happen to anyone, cheaters and their conducts are predictable, you just have to understand "the true nature of people" and kind of put your religious believes on the side to understand that. Sorry you are going thru this but life is teaching you the hard way what religion made you naive for the longest.

For some reason some females do that, mine did it as well; we dated 10 years before we got married, she was a person with goals, schedule and starting a career. After the wedding she ended up being a completely different person. She didn't want to work anymore, she stays at home all day and homeschool the kids. Yep, you need to get out more often... If you have the Freedom to work from home, pretty much it means you can work from anywhere in the world. Visit relatives , Brian your computer with you stay at their place for a day or two. Travel further that is cheap to afford. Sell your house and rent the smallest studio or even better a room somewhere just to have a place to get you mails, then travel to places and work.from.there.

Patience, there are always ways. As far as I know alimony may expire at sometime. Then if she gets married again, her new husband will take care of her and releaves you from alimony. Other thing that may help are any certificates or working experience on her end, get a copy of her resume and recommendation letters. As soon as she makes more money you will have to pay less child support. How much percent of your check is going out on child support and alimony? Was she a stay home mom? Try to make…

In fact she did try, even if I told her that I can't afford more kids (we already have 2) she did attempt for a third one without my consent. I found the fertility and pregnancy tests hidden on top of the closet. Absolutely not, I got a vasectomy 13 months ago and I happened to be in the supposed 2% of people that suffers chronic pain after, that procedure has killed my libido and drive. Sorry but your wife is dumb, I mean really dumb. That guy that she has cybernetically fall in love most likely is some scammer outseas in some 3rd world nation. And actually the guy doesn't even exist, it is a group of dudes that will rip your money (thru her) away. She is not a good partner dude, she will expose your whole family to criminals and misery. Let her go.

Sounds about right, if you get married again she may show up at the wedding to try to sabotage your time, and if you have a new kid she will despise him like the devil. Stay away of her, by the way your kids support her, they like you but they love her, so be careful on what you share with them.

I did a budget in exel and then I told her: no more credit cards, I'll give you 300 bucks every Friday for groceries and stuff we really need, and I put a hold on all credit cards but 1 (mine) and only use it for gas and oil. She said she needed more, I told her: an alimony check is not going to be more than what I give you now. But in consequence of t…

I have talked to a few lawyers and they said that my case is very complex because most likely she will get full custody and the house, also because she doesn't work she will get a good chunk of alimony.

Same background dude, homeschooling since the pandemia, My wife keeps listening to all kind of conspiracies theories on YouTube and other sources and don't want to get herself or our kids vaccinated and the kitchen looks like witch lab with all kind of herbs, seeds and crap in every corner and around the house as well. Thank you for your support, not easy, not easy. I didn't know that homeschooling could be that detrimental to fatherhood, since she spends the whole day with kids they have a real…

I don't blame you. I guess it goes something like this: with a lawyer get your name out of the birth certificate, then division of assets, you will have to pay alimony for a while because most states are no-fault now, most of the time you pay 1 year of alimony for every 3 of marriage. Otherwise if your lawyer recommends you to pursue a divorce with grounds. in the positive note at least you found out now and not later I heard this is common. A lot of men have no idea that their kids are not thei…

Well don't take it to personal, how I see my situation is like it takes two for tango. I can say that my stbx ended up being a very different person to what she advertised to be; a total incompatible partner. But I accept the responsibility that I made a poor judgement marring her, I knew that she was a piece of work and I committed the mistake to believe that she could change or we could work it out on the long run, I was wrong, but so wrong. I accept the responsibility of choosing and marrying…

Marriage is full of responsibilities even worst if there are kids involved. Man and woman has a huge share of responsibilities inside a relationship both of them are required to be functional adults than understand the importance of budgets, time, respect and intimacy. I hope that means something to you, if not sadly my conclusion is that you also are an spoil brat that acts up like your former entitled partner...perfect receipt for a train wreck.

In order to prevent that from happening you have to choose better partners, and also understand if the responsibilities of marriage a good fit to your personality. If you get into another wrong relationship the chances of you profiling women will get higher.

I guess it makes more sense if you can imagen the past, how hostile the world was, how fragile life is for specially the newborns, how high was the mortality rate in infants. Our species has evolved or developed thru time to make life thrive in a very aggressive fashion. Thru the progress of civilization we have found ways to increase life expectancy but the behaviors remain with us, they are our reproductive nature. Once you understand that part of the reproductive human nature everything makes…

While pregnant some females go thru all kind of emotional unbalances, depressions, mood swings and crap we don't understand because we are men and thanks God we don't have to go thru that shit. But females really jeopardize their health and life, sometimes I believe that motherhood is the main natural goal of females. It is like everything they do it is in the sake of reproduction. Since flirting, to dating, to getting married etc. It is kind of creepy but they do that in order to preserve the o…

Your divorce will be complicated and the chances that you will live far from your kid are very high. If you are already splitting and she has a boyfriend I don't think she is going to move to the US. As a us citizen the chances are that the court system will treat you relatively better than the treatment you will get in china but I don't think she is going to agree to move over there otherwise there are conditions on her end. You will probably have to pay a year of alimony for every 3 years of m…

It is very frustrating, the ideas that come to my mind are : it doesn't cost her anything. I have the feeling that ladies only care about sex because they want to have a baby, once they fulfill that they don't care about at least with you. Sometimes what makes you fuckable again is the relevance of your character or how successful you are. But they get in use to it and the shortage continues again. This is a very common thing, and a lot of men resource to masturbation, massage parlors or escort …

Sorry dude but your marriage is over, and looks like it was over for her for the longest. In order to morally help you we can say that this kind of behavior discrepancies are becoming more common. First thing to try is counseling, since you are in a slippery slope don't bring any kids to the world in this relationship it will add a layer of difficulty to everything. I don't know why people thinks that bringing babies solves problems. Then start talking to a lawyer, your divorce is not that complex yet.

Have you considered moving to the other side of the country? Or to another country,? I read somewhere that if you don't have kids with her you can do that. Lawyers don't really recommend you how to use the law for your benefit.

Sad that you can't divorce your father as well. Sorry you are going thru this, it makes me really wonder on the respect level you get from your family, sad to say but sometimes fathers will see their kids as a child forever and believe that nothing in your life is worth at all, I'm not surprised of her part in this mess but the level of disrespect from your dad it is way above understanding and comprehension. A fault divorce is convenient only when you file for divorce, because you are supposed to have a good reason. But custody is another matter, by default custody should be 50/50 otherwise if one of the parents is unfit.

After the second one she decided to homeschool the kids. That would be fine but we actually need the money, we can't really afford home schooling. Anyway, even after the divorce she will still get money from you for a while, sorry you are going thru this crap.

Yep, definitely is a very different culture than the US. I think that you should try to negotiate traveling between the two countries with some frequency. And as your wife she should follow you where ever you can earn a living specially if she doesn't work. She should also consider and understand that married to a foreign person eventually will bring this challenge and cooperate with you. Otherwise you should take advantage of their local regulations to let her go.

Yes, why are you married this young anyway? There is so much you are missing. End that relationship in good terms and mess around for at least 15 more years, then find a a new 20 years old wife. You are going thru a very intense drama way to young. Life is beautiful make it easy. And get a lawyer for a DNA test.

Is this a separation or a divorce, you didn't get any custody? There are ways that you can go around this, if he is your only kid you should probably move nearby to make it easy for yourself. Don't sign anything that she would bring you until checked by a lawyer and remember that you have rights as a father. All states should be 50/50 not because a broken relationship means we don't have rights to be more present in our kids life's. I know you are feeling sad but you should give it more fight to…

You can try counseling, but probably is better to end that relationship since you don't have kids (easy) talk to a lawyer to write down the requirements. Go with her to set up that, so she can see and agree about a true share of the goods and... If she makes more money than you , you could be getting some alimony.

Good for you on ending that relationship but however it will be complex. I don't know if your are on a no grounds state, if that's the case infidelity don't really matter she gets half of everything, and also most of the time even is the mother is a deadbeat she ends up having most of the custody. Getting a fair share of custody will cost you several thousands, also because she is a stay home mom you will have to pay alimony for a while, don't get surprised if she puts all kind of accusations ag…

If you don't have kids you are on the easy path. Get out of there, she is not a competent adult. Ask your relatives if you can stay with them meanwhile the divorce settles. Don't buy anything while being married to her. Once you are out you can do what ever you want.
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/23 04:46 PM

Move out as soon as you can, open another bank account request your job to deposit your checks there. Request your lawyer to set the financial terms of the divorce. Get completely independent and make sure after the divorce she can't access anything yours.
