Generally any mention of 'sigma' on TRP are self proclaimers rationalizing away. Truth is, if you didn't care about your place on the social/sexual hierarchy, you wouldn't be on this sub. Sigmas usually get the way they are either from extreme social exclusion in early life that serves to make them indifferent to it when they become successful later on in life.
