Regarding the Columbine Shootings, Brooks Brown, one of the closest friends of the shooters, did an AMA about the whole thing (it's archived, you can find it on google). Having recently read the AMA, I couldn't help but raise a brow to this comment, especially after I clicked your link expecting something to do with David Cullen, and surprise surprise - the main source after skimming the article seems to be David Cullen. In Brooks ama, he mentions multiple times that David Cullen's book is essen…

You're missing the point. It's not about being a snowflake. It's about keeping the quality of the sub in tact, and if you let random noobs run loose and not make them accountable for lowering the quality of the sub, then while it might seem like a "small thing" - if you let things like these slide, the sub will slowly but surely destroy itself from within from becoming low quality, and the people will move on saying "ehh, how did Redpill become so boring and low quality, it's not what it used to…

How much does the whole process cost in a month? I'd like to try it out if it's less than 30 bucks.

Not necessarily. There's only so much time in a day, and not everyone is willing to look at a new post and read it thoroughly without knowing if it's worth it. A good hook or a summary can make the person make the final decision. There's been plenty of times where I was skeptical of reading a post, but after opening it - I'm presented with an interesting premise or a TL:DR at the top or bottom that makes me want to read it all.

When a relationship is structured correctly, the guy gets what he wants (the ability to pursue his mission in peace while his partner helps) and the woman gets what she wants (the ability to help an alpha male pursue a fun mission). Woujo, with all due respect, this is pretty much what I said in my last paragraph, so I don't see how we're disagreeing here. That said, there are a couple of problems even with this argument : For this kind of a relationship to take place, one requires an insane amo…

They understand that if a woman likes them for their status and money, she doesn't truly like him and he may have sex with her, but not get too emotionally invested in her. Someone gets it.

Spotless post. couldn't find a single thing I disagreed with like some other posts in the past from you GLO. You're trying to fit a square figurine in a triangle shape. Monogamous LTR relationships aren't natural. It's a bluepill fantasy. Imagine trying vetting a friend to see if you can be "Long Term Friends" and build a life together - no matter how good you guys are right now, you still have only half the control and life will happen. You can enjoy a long term relationship if you wish, but remember to not take it too seriously. Accept things for what they are instead of trying to use the Red Pill to…

We're in agreement. All I'm saying is that it's not impossible to succeed if you look like a subhuman precisely because you have a choice.
/r/TheRedPill02/10/21 05:15 PM
1

Looking like a subhuman will make it impossible for you to succeed. Incorrect. Lets say you wanted to buy a product, and the only thing you see at first is that it's price is $1000 dollars. You'd probably be thinking "hmm, that's a good amount of money, I'll pass." Well what if that product was a 100% cure for cancer and you had it? You'd suddenly be thinking "wow, only 1k for a 100% cure? That's ridiculous." The point is - a product's chance for it to be sold is not just based on the price, but…

A big misconception in society is that men and women are the same. For one to win, the other one has to lose. At the end of the day - life is a competition. You can also view it as ''winning less'' if the word lose doesn't suit you. The bottom line is - someone is always winning more in any facet of life, and especially relationships. If a guy is getting what he wants (sex, peace etc) from the girl while giving her less of his time, commitment and energy to her - he is winning. If the girl is ge…

The moment you recognise that you aren’t getting the results you want because you are not good enough, is the moment you know you got work to do. This is correct. The issue is that most people decide to escape / cope instead - vidya, booze, drugs, people...anything that dances around the thing that they actually should be doing. Everyone's guilty of doing this, the question is - to how big of an extent. The only true escape in this world is success.

The same way beta males want women to accept their behavior as "alpha" , the same way losers want to convince others that they're valuable and the same way fat chick try to convince you that they're hot. It's a giant shit test to the world where low-value people try to cope with the fact they are, as their description suggests, low value. Instead of trying to change the world or look for excuses, change yourself and look for answers. The moment that you accept that you are evil, that you're a hy…

I think he did a manouver that was talked about in the "Respect the Jab" post here a couple of days ago. Dude probably went full sperg mode, read TRP for the first time, got some "A-ha" type moments, thinking he now knows the wa6 and tried to take his boundaries back / go for what he truly wants as a man. It's not that trying to have multiple chicks in your LTR is something bad, in fact - it's natural. The problem was the execution, which makes sense cause most people who come here first turn in…

everyone playing their own optimal strategy turns into what we have now. And what's wrong with what we have? Redpill's problems are in a lot of ways very ''first world''-ish and not that important in the larger scheme of things. You're lacking perspective. Every guy on here thinks hes a top guy or will be in a couple of years. New Flash: Most of you will not be. Yes, ''relativity'' exists, which makes this impossible. monogamy would allow you to at least get some sexual advantages. Yes, but it's…

Fundamentally, socially enforced monogamy, what the west was built on, was the sweet spot where everyone wins. Disagree. Men are not meant to be in a monogamous relationship. ''Women are the gatekeepers of pussy, Men are the gatekeepers of commitment''. When the woman gives up sex, the man has the advantage. When the man gives commitment, the woman has the advantage.

Briffault's Law is not meant to be taken as 100% truth, but a pretty accurate pattern. Even Paretto's principle isn't always 80/20 in every situation, it's just a guideline. I choose who passes and fails my vetting process. Men are the gatekeepers of commitment, women are the gatekeepers of pussy. You wouldn't be 'vetting' or 'choosing' anything if the girl didn't find you valuable in the first place. Because she can't easily leave me because I'm the shit, I have power. And yet she is still the …

She is still running the scene. Even if you are 'the prize', It's because the female is deriving benefit from this type of an association with you, because for women - you being the prize is valuable to them (at least for a large portion of women, even if it's subconscious). You can be 'running the scene' as you put it and have all the game in the world, but if those things aren't valuable to her for whatever reason in that moment in time or at all - no association takes place. It does. Men with Game = valuable to women, aka the female "benefits" from this association with the male. Remember - Value is always in the eye of the beholder, and unfortunately for most people (not just women) - their value systems are crap. You might have game, but some women will still find the overall product, aka you, not valuable for a variety reasons - your looks, logistics, how they feel - literally any reason you can think of. It's not that YOUR value is low necessarily, but that your…

Shit advice. If you are spending time with your family just because its "what you should do as a man" as if its some sort of a responsibility and not because you want to, then that's stupid. There are plenty of valid reasons not to spend time with your family - no common ground or interests, bad environment for you mentally, not helping you achieve your goals etc. I understand why some people don't want to do anything with their family. At first, I thought it was just a solid post. Then, your last 2 paragraphs alone made this post an excellent one. You put a concept that I've been thinking about for a while in a way that's easy to understand. This concept doesn't apply just to the gym. It's one of the more important concepts of life itself. Always keep the momentum going. Objects that are in motion tend to stay in motion, be it a positive or a negative trajectory, so when you are on a positive streak - the key is not to stop. T…

Compensating is not necessarily a bad thing, otherwise going to the gym for your personal aesthetics (even if you aren't insecure about how you currently look and just want to look even better) would be considered ''compensating'', when in reality - a person can absolutely improve in areas without necessarily being insecure about their current state.

Why is TRP so black and white? Simple. There are a lot of newcomers to TRP, and the best way to unplug them is by explaining things in black or white terms. If you constantly had to say "GIRLS WITH TATTOOS are sluts...but actually...there are cases when X or Y apply... so while it might be a red flag or a sign of impulsiveness, context still matters, so you will have to vet for yourself... Mate unless you're 50 and/or have heart disease or diabetes, the vast majority of these cases are due to one thing. Your heart and soul isn't in the same place that your head thinks you need to go. Youre focused here on externalities and superficial surface stuff, and you need to be asking yourself questions about the heart and soul instead. Here's the thing: it's great to have goals and work hard toward them, but what is the point of accomplishing them? It's not about necessarily achieving the goals. It's the chasing part (really chasing them, not fake-chasing), to having something to look forward to. Obsession is a good thing. Good luck achieving anything worthwhile with "balance". Chicks rely on their “emotions “ and if she didn’t wanna a fuck after your kiss, maybe improve your kiss skills or something related. Re-read. I went for the kiss, and was denied. But for sure a good point - don't think too much, but do try to learn from the experience.

The best way is to forget about game and purely focus on yourself and work hard. Mixed feeling about this. I feel like it's a separate discipline. I think that Game is both marketing and your value (perceived and actual value). Of course focusing on yourself and increasing your "product" value is important, because then you need less "marketing" to sell yourself, but unless you have insane value (someone known, famous etc), you still need game, know how to keep convos flowing, escalating because…

Yeah, for sure. Images are huge, Gonna get a good camera and make some. The biggest problem I have with Tinder is that swiping itself takes a lot of time. Even if it's an 1-2 a month best case scenario, those two hours are still more important than the price spent on Tinder Gold.

It's not about comparing myself to others for me. It's more about feeling weak myself.

There's no "lifting on and off" you're either training or you aren't. Like another guy said, your lack of consistency is probably the main factor. Read Martin Berkhan's article "Fuckarounditis" Fair. I will say that when I'm at the gym, I'm not in fuckarounditis mode, only thing I'm fucking around is with being on and off with gym in general, and that usually happens because I see no progress for a long time when I am consistent. Gets demoralizing after a while to see no improvement.

Sounds like your not eating enough carbs. You need energy to gain strength especially if you’ve been lifting for so long. Bro all I have been eating is carbs. Chicken & rice every single day + oat meal etc, and some brown bread + bananas. It can't get more carb-liek than that, except for maybe more of that calory-wise. Lower the weight and increase the reps on another day and then go back to the lower rep ranges you’ll probably make progress that way Will do. Another thing I do is add 1.25kg My …

Man, your comment alone shows you're a good person. Thanks a lot, I'll save this comment and start implementing what I can immediately. One question that I do still wonder about and have not seen concrete answers - does it matter when you eat / drink protein? as in pre or after? Cheers

a slight surplus or the same (to not drop weight.) So if I'm ~200 pounds, then whatever that is to remain at that, something like 2800 I assume.

Love your stuff. 1 x body weight bp and squats is absolutely fine in my opinion. I don't want to be a comparing Andy, but how's that fine when some dudes are lifting more in a year? our problem is very probably bad technique. especially if you can't deadlift more. take videos and post to some relevant sub like powerbuilding and ask for correction. Could be. I'm overanalyzing a lot, so I constantly worry about my form. It's as if even if I had the best form, I wouldn't be sure that it's correct s…

I'd say around 120g of protein. Sleep quality is great - 8 hours at least, rarely less. Not sure about vitamins, minerals etc, but around 2 years ago my Test was 586 iirc.

Consistency is key. Either I'm super consistent or really off. I can admit that. There are periods where I've not skipped going 6x times a week for 2 months straight. Overall though, I'd say I'm going around 3-4 times a week when I'm going.

...no? Your point was this. It's a lot like people who can't be alone. The only people who can't stand being by themselves are people whose company sucks to be around. If you can't tolerate it, it's because you suck. Which I don't agree with. Whatever, not important.

It's a lot like people who can't be alone. The only people who can't stand being by themselves are people whose company sucks to be around. If you can't tolerate it, it's because you suck. Actually don't agree. My biggest strength is my solitude, I love being on my own. That said, I do think that people who can't be alone are mostly just insanely bored, hooked on dopamine spikes. Quite simply - socializing is an addiction for them, just pure dopamine. Same for gamers who can't sit still for 2 ho…

Hmm, you know man... I'm not sure there's a point in knowing "how deep the rabbit hole goes". What's the point of truth anyway if it doesn't help achieve your goals? (mine being happiness). Knowing a certain amount - sure, absolutely neccessary to not get fucked by life, but past a certain point, It feels as if there's no point to it... that it only fucks with your mental state at that point.

> Okay there Nietzsche..Who says you need to make the world better? This is a great point, but here's how the progression of thought went in my head. I did come to terms with realizing that I don't need to make the world better (took me two years)... however, that also doesn't change the fact that by pursuing that success and making the world worse makes me feel good either. I want to be amoral "andy", I truly do... but I feel as if I'm too self righteous. My brain just can't chase pure, easy su…

But for there to be a goal, there must be a belief that it's worth it, right? That's where the problem lies. I don't have any realistic goals because I don't think chasing them is worth the effort. That, or maybe I'm just a lazy fuck. Or maybe I'm lazy because I don't have the belief... who the hell knows at this point.

> Life can be wonderful. When's the last time you got out to Nature and marvelled at your own existence, tied as it is to the trees, the Moon, the stars? Great way to look at it. Maybe I've lived in my headspace bubble for too long. Maybe I should take a step back and appreciate what's positive in this world.
/r/askTRP19/06/20 10:41 PM

So essentially... fuck it, don't think about it, turn a blind eye to bad shit and focus on the positive, while remaining based in reality and looking out for yourself?

I'm talking in general. Not asking to find a specific purpose.
/r/askTRP19/06/20 04:28 PM

Exactly. That's why I'm making this post to find something to have "belief" in, a "realistic" mission if you will that I can actually feel being worthwhile to pursue.
/r/askTRP19/06/20 04:24 PM

> All you can do is have something to work towards. True. Problem is, after a while, the belief thoughts always creep in my mind. "Why am I doing this" etc, which eventually lead to no motivation etc.
/r/askTRP19/06/20 04:23 PM

Fair enough, but again - how can I live my life to the "fullest" when I can't achieve shit I want to since it relies on the world to work in a way that I want it to work, not how it actually functions. Best I can do is become successful in the "Real" world...

/r/askTRP09/06/20 01:39 AM

> you're so decisive that it will bring you happiness, it will bring you happiness. So essentially - you have to believe it really really hard. But even then, you're still chemicals though, right? If you believed you felt great when you are not using heroin while being a heroin junkie, would that really work? I doubt it, you'd have too much physical / mental addiction to that shit etc.

Hey, appreciate the long answer. Solid all around, but I liked the part about getting a job the best. Quite frankly, my schedule when I was attending university was great. Went to all the important lectures, had great grades etc - problem was, I thought what I was learning wasn't worth it, so I took a gap year. Fast forward now a couple of months and after no self control, not enough fire under my own ass and voila - I'm where I'm at today. It's as if I'm pursuing this idea of "perfect time mana…

Don't worry man, I'm a calm dude. no BPD. My lifestyle's just shit. As for the therapist - I need to fix this on my own. At the very least, "seeking out" a therapist myself won't help me, it has to happen organically.

Your answer is right there. You need to avoid that moment, in stead of thinking it'll be different this time. Much like how an alcoholic needs to abstain from "just that one drink". So essentially - no moderation here. Problem is, It's not just video games, It's wasting my time in general. I think video games aren't the issue, the need for an "escape" is. If I abstain from video games, I'm jacking it whenever I can. if I abstain from both, I'm watching endless Youtube videos etc. On top of all o…

you should be able to switch between both as you wish. It shouldn't be harder than turning a light switch on and off. A light switch is balanced. Addiction is not. I've tried "switching" between both, but I'm at my 50th or more try at this point - It just does not work for me with the approaches I've tried, at the very least. cold showers, meditating, lifting I literally did all of these things, but they had no correlation to fixing my problem. It only worked because I abstained cold-turkey styl…

I agree with all your points, we're on the same page in that aspect. All I'm saying is that the wording is pretty shit and without a doubt will confuse a lot of new comers, cause how are they supposed to read between the lines when they don't know jack shit yet. This then in turn gets the usual "You misinterpret what we meant" from the EC's, and the cycle goes on and on. Maybe make it less "misinterpretable" then, just a thought...
/r/askTRP25/04/20 06:00 PM
2

...but I get the point. My point is that it's stupid to deny that what women want is somehow not important for you to succeed in the sexual marketplace, and EC's shouldn't be writing that shit, or at the very least - be more precise with the wording they choose.
/r/askTRP25/04/20 05:24 PM

A woman is led by emotions. Emotions change. She'll want X on Monday and Y on Wednesday. Applies to people in general, not just women. You should also focus on what makes you happy. You only live one life so you need to enjoy it. I agree, but it's never a win-win situation it seems. What makes me happy, for example, does not always help me succeed with women, money wise or whatever. For example, I don't drink & I don't smoke, choices I've made for the betterment of my health, but I'm not blind e…

Sounds good. Playing along is still better than knowing the bitter truth and sulking in your own misery. Truth is overrated anyway, happiness has nothing to do with knowing it as far as my experience shows so far.

Nobody says you have to lift. It's just known that great body physics will have a positive impact on girls. And I said so as well? "I do it because It gives results." If you don't like it, try something else Fair advice, but so far I've found nothing that captivates me. I don't naturally enjoy most activities that lead to success in the social world, because it's all smoke and mirrors - fake. Not what I thought the world was gonna be, but it is what it is, gotta play along.

Still dodging it. Your answer gives nothing to these two questions. what the hell do you do if you don't like to do the things that TRP recommends or that girls like in guys? and Like seriously - what do you do if you like being your authentic self but your authentic self sucks for others?
/r/askTRP25/04/20 02:59 PM

You literally dodged the entire question. If you don't have an answer, just say it. The gaming was just an example.
/r/askTRP25/04/20 02:49 PM

That's what I essentially said at the start of my last paragraph as well, but why the fuck is the wording so shit then from EC's. Just tell people not to be needy, not "don't care what women want".
/r/askTRP25/04/20 02:36 PM

Then my question is - what the hell do you do if you don't like to do the things that TRP recommends or that girls like in guys? Like imagine if you are a scrawny nerd who enjoys playing video games, has some weird hobbies that no one cares about but him etc? You want girls just as much as the next guy, but your lifestyle isn't something the girls want. At the same time - you don't enjoy the things that women want from a guy even if you start doing them, so the only thing you can do at that poin…

Another thing, discipline, will power won't do it. But addicts usually don't have discipline, so how can you have the discipline to go through the process with it, or learn discipline while you are going through the process if you are bored out of your mind, over-stimulated etc?

But the problem is - in that dopamine withdrawal period, replacing that shitty habit isn't fun, even if it is a passion. If it was, quitting would be easy. In fact - nothing is fun for at least a week in my experience, and the "happiness land" of being addiction-free always seems so far away from grasp that a relapse finds it's way back in your life before you've gotten past the withdrawal period. Here's my personal cycle of going through addiction. Had enough, decide to quit bad habits / addi…

> Take destructive habits where you consume and replace them with productive habits where you build and create. There's a problem with this argument, and I'd like to hear you address it if you can. The problem being - It's incredibly hard to build productive habits when you are over-stimulated and bored. Let's say I'm addicted to instant & easy dopamine - watching streams, playing video games all day etc. Now tell me - how the fuck am I supposed to enjoy being outside all day, or working on a pr…

No immediate clear examples, but really - it's any situation where you are perceived to be / or do X, while Y is the reality, and in those situations, be it to the boss, co-workers, acquaintances, friends, or even family - explaining yourself sucks, but not explaining leads to them thinking that they are right, which sucks as well. On one hand, you could argue you are bad at "presenting" / "marketing" yourself then, and while that can be fixed by playing the social game, the social game sucks as…

Question - what the fuck do you do in situations where you are clearly not in the wrong, but someone thinks you are? I absolutely hate DEERing, but what's the play in those situations? If you don't explain yourself, everyone will think that you did fuck up since you aren't responding / getting into an argument, but explaining yourself, even if you are correct, sucks even more. Either I have to explain myself and then fucking hate that I had to do that, or don't explain and lose social value / re…
