1	How to deal with socially awkward friend pushing girls away? Kind of biased since I was and still am a bit like your friend, but I've got this friend, he's a great guy but he's pretty socially inept. Is he just an acquaintance or is he really your friend? If he was less embarassing to hang around with, would you think more highly of him and as a closer friend? You owe it to your friend to help him out with his anxieties/social inadequacy because somewhere down the line, who knows, he might pay you back ten fold. DBT is used to treat mental health disorders, but I believe that it can be extremely helpful in all aspects of life. If you feel that the stigma attached to mental health and self help books prevents your from reading this, then I would like to tell you that it's your loss.
