I’m considering getting one removed from my hand. I’m also growing out my hair to hide one. Softening my look is my only option for the others. I appreciate the comment. 💜

It’s crazy to me to think so many women struggle with these issues. I’ve always felt like an odd duck.

I love my skinny jeans but I have trouble with tops. I don’t know what would be flattering. I own a few decent shirts but most are graphic T-shirts. I need to get used to fitted clothes. My husband has told me many times I wear bags.

I had no idea you could do that! My eyelashes and brows are blonde. So that would be really useful!

Oh I never thought about going that route! That would be more in my comfort zone!

It became an insecurity when my new friend mentioned I scared her when we met. She admitted she probably wouldn’t have given me a chance if we weren’t neighbors. I’ve heard similar things from other women. You are right. It’s been a big part of not letting myself become the feminine woman I want to be. I thought I was a lost cause. I was really scared to post here. Bringing it up was more of a am I okay to post here?

Thank you for being so kind. Overnight curl sound like the perfect thing for me to try! My mornings are the busiest time of day so starting my routine at night will be so helpful!

I just meant to use it as an example. I may not have worded everything well.

You ladies are so helpful! I have more confidence now! I’ll look into tapered tops and florals! Cardigans should be easy to thrift so that’s a great option for me.

My mom passed away but with the time we had she didn’t teach me. Do you have any specific threads or creators you would suggest? I will ask her. I’ve tried to ask for help over the years and no one takes me seriously. She’s very kind I shouldn’t assume she won’t take me seriously.

I appreciate your reply so much thank you! I’m loving matching two pieces sets lately. I don’t know how to put together an outfit. I love dresses in the summer but unfortunately it’s a very short season here. Do you have any suggestions to help dress up or add a feminine touch to pants/shirt combo? Thank you for the suggestion of just a touch of make up. I’ve never bothered with makeup because it seems so intimidating. I can handle mascara and lip tint.

I’ve been a SAHM for 8 years. We live on a very tight budget but make it work (40-50k). We recently bought my first car that isn’t a total beater. We recently moved into a nicer home. With time and patience we have SLOWLY bettered our lives. My husband fixes everything for us, next to no eating out, buy thrifted, no disposable products, buy clearance for the next season (gifts etc too), garden, cut costs with groceries by taking extra steps (shred my own cheese), air dry clothes, run appliances …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
