4	Journey from "Alpha male" to "Beta male" - "Notes from Underground" The term goes back way further than that book, but I always appreciate pointing people towards it. Even for people that aren't interested in pickup, it's a great read for the narrative, characters, and excellent writing style (pun intended). Also, to expand on that type of pickup being long gone, I know it's a bit trite to say but I just think it's evolved. "The Game" and the Mystery Method defined pickup and almost all modern game has it's roots there.	/r/seduction	14/07/22 09:19 AM
1	Is the PUA community basically dead? I understand this sentiment for sure. In my experience the more you push yourself out there and make yourself engage, the easier it becomes. Aspies can generally pick up on a lot of the same social cues and get better at generally socializing over time, it just takes longer and requires more effort. Think of it as practice every time you're in a conversation, even just with friends and family! I guarantee you'll get better at it over time. Hang in there.	/r/seduction	14/07/22 08:56 AM
