Far too many people believe that men not being able to acquire sex/relationships is a MORAL failing. This could not be further from the truth. The more correct answer is that men who don’t get laid are either too inhibited, too selective, or both. If you don’t have any standards on who you fuck, there are a million options out there, and if you take initiative towards fucking those options, you would get laid quite a bit. This applies to women too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/12/22 10:41 PM

Why do I get a lot of number but only few dates ?I've noticed girls tend to be very "in the moment". In the moment they gave you their number, they might've been genuinely excited to want to go out with you. Maybe when you texted them back, they weren't in the same mood as before. It's also an environment and vibe sort of thing. You might've met them where the atmosphere made them really open to meeting new people. Now that you're following up with them, it's not the same environment. Of course in many situations, there won't actually be a lot… | /r/seduction | 16/12/20 12:08 AM
Neediness Kills AttractionI've always hated the "walk this way" kinds of advice. Most people who follow these just look like they're compensating for something. Imagine being so insecure and in need of validation that you micromanage your walk to give a false impression to others who might not even know you exist. Even if these people are hiding it well, just walking however you wanna walk because you don't give a fuck what other people think is a better mindset to have. | /r/seduction | 11/12/20 09:05 AM

"There's something repulsive about people who just treat others nicely because they want something from them" What i described isn't norms of reciprocity. What i described is quid pro quo and is therefore exploitation. For it to be norms of reciprocity, the other person would have to WANT or FEEL OBLIGED to return the favor. That wasn't indicated at all from what I said, all that was indicated was the intent to gain. Regardless, you can ask literally anyone how they feel abo… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/10/20 08:55 PM |
The other shoe of the nice guy phenomenon...is it going to drop soon?Norms of reciprocity isn’t treating others nicely because you want something from them. That’s called exploitation. You can USE norms of reciprocity to exploit, and in that case it’s repulsive. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/10/20 07:22 PM
The other shoe of the nice guy phenomenon...is it going to drop soon? There’s something absolutely repulsive about people who just treat others nicely because they want something from them. You can judge a person pretty well by the way they treat those who can’t do anything for them. It won’t get you laid, you’re right. What's funny is that I didn't find out how important this book was. It wasn't until years later when something clicked and I immediately thought "ohhh so this is what lord of the flies was all about" in both it's message and it's symbolism that I learned to appreciate it for what it was. | /r/seduction | 03/08/20 04:38 AM

Don’t blow your opportunities."Tomorrow isn't guaranteed" isn't good. It IS true. The advice "you might not have a chance in front of you again" is different from "tomorrow isn't guaranteed". The former is probably a more accurate representation of reality than the latter, and the decisions made from such a position would therefore be more beneficial. "memento mori" is also different from "tomorrow isn't guaranteed". | 1 | Don’t blow your opportunities."Make now matter" is a good message, but "tomorrow isn't guaranteed" isn't. That perspective is coming from a place of emotion, fear, scarcity, etc. It's a mentality that doesn't factor in the reality that though tomorrow isn't guaranteed, the chances of tomorrow happening is still highly likely. It's a mentality that prevents foresight, planning, investment, preparation, etc. The good thing about that mentality is that it increases motivation and causes a person to take action. | 1 | Don’t blow your opportunities.Although that's a concern, embarrassment and shame are still the top reasons guys don't want to get rejected. Expressing interest in someone takes a lot of vulnerability. Additionally, it changes a relationship if this is a person you'll be seeing often. To the extent that relationship is changed will depend. | /r/seduction | 31/07/20 05:28 AM
Don’t blow your opportunities.I think when we reach these conclusions, we have to take a step back. Yes, we aren't guaranteed tomorrow, but odds are that there will be a tomorrow. Success in many aspects of life, including dating, doesn't come from a "yolo" mentality, it comes from preparation, investment, and playing the long game. Taking risks isn't always the way to go either. Taking action is, but not all action has to be risky, and the rationale behind that action can't be "because there might not be a tomorrow" since t… | /r/seduction | 31/07/20 05:15 AM

What’s the best seduction advice you learned?Again, i'm not saying that playing the numbers game won't get you results. I'm saying that rejection comes at a cost people fail to acknowledge, whether that's lost time, lost energy, lost confidence, etc. Even then, playing the numbers game might not even be the best strategy in the long run if your goal is to get women, in the same way taking a shot no matter how contested it is every time you touch the ball isn't conducive to winning the game. | /r/seduction | 25/07/20 06:22 PM
What’s the best seduction advice you learned? This isn't only about validation. This is about all the consequences of rejection. For one, rejection to some might not be a big deal, but to others, it's demoralizing enough that it'll dictate their future interactions beyond dating. Also, to continue with the analogy, timely assists can mean more than taking dumb shots. | 2 | Guys, how do you deal with competition ? (Girls opinion also wanted)Wrong. Caring less won't necessarily make you more attractive because what's considered "attractive" puts into account many different variables on top of the girl's preferences. The guy could be qualifying himself to the girl but if he's got more social proof and he's better looking and she's into it, it won't matter how little shits you give, you're probably fucked. Whether I’m constantly thinking about my height doesn’t matter. Whether I get results or not doesn’t matter. Whether I’m wearing a white lab coat while I’m telling you this doesn’t matter. That’s because none of that changes this fact. Women (as a whole) prefer tall men. Therefore, short guys have it harder. Here’s an example. Stanford likes students with 4.0 gpas. Not to bring race into this, but it’s most definitely a factor to most people, and anyone saying otherwise is in denial. | /r/seduction | 12/01/20 09:45 PM
Went out alone, best decision I've madeJust curious, where would you say you are in terms of looks? (putting biases aside) | /r/seduction | 12/01/20 08:57 PM
Going out alone is a rollercoasterOhhhh ok. It sounded like a "throw caution to the wind" deal which is placing way too much faith in humanity | /r/seduction | 11/01/20 06:02 PM
Going out alone is a rollercoasterBut the amount of danger you're putting yourself in, is it worth it for the benefits of going out alone? I admire the confidence but for safety reasons, at least go with a friend and agree to do your own thing. | /r/seduction | 11/01/20 04:31 PM
How do U stop being in your head and stop giving a fuck ? Like I’m always in my head and like self conscious I wanna be more confidentBeing cynical can make the situation worse, especially if the person’s self consciousness stems from social anxiety. | /r/seduction | 11/01/20 06:37 AM
How do U stop being in your head and stop giving a fuck ? Like I’m always in my head and like self conscious I wanna be more confidentWhat works for me is changing my values. The reason why this works is because your values dictate your goals and desires, those goals and desires dictate where your energy and attention is spent. Insecurity and self consciousness usually comes with (or are byproducts of) its own set of values. Examples are: wanting people to like you (so you supplicate often), avoiding pain and criticism, etc. Add to this the value of women to you (which can be ridiculously high depending on your situation) and … | /r/seduction | 11/01/20 06:34 AM
How do I take girls off the "pedestal"?The whole "girls poop, girls have snot” doesn’t really do it for some people because there are different reasons people put women on a pedestal. A guy who has been a virgin his whole life but has extremely attractive women friends and family already know women are just like everyone else in that they have insecurities and stuff, yet they’ll place them on a pedestal regardless. You’ll have to find out WHY you’re placing women on a pedestal first. | /r/seduction | 08/01/20 04:29 PM

So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Sorry for the late reply but just so you know, this is the one of the best and most informative responses I've received. Also it's really refreshing to hear someone apologize in this sub (no worries, i TOTALLY get it xD) and it's probably the first time I read the words "sorry" typed out in this sub since people here are probably more scared of using that word than getting an STD. Also if you don't mind me asking, why do you take the time out of your day to help these dudes out? You do realize t… | /r/seduction | 05/01/20 04:18 PM
Here's everything I've learned about women, dating, sex, PUA, and seduction in my decades of life. This is really helpful since it explains the underlying psychology involved. However, I was hoping for more actionable stuff. Like if you were trying to initiate the physical escalation process, what would it look like in terms of what you’re doing physically? If I were to pull a girl from a club, do I just jump to make out with her? Or do I hold her hand? Lean in and whisper something so it feels intimate? | /r/seduction | 01/01/20 02:59 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I’m not fighting you, I’m just looking to understand since my experience has been different from yours. So basically girls who just want to fuck go for looks while girls who want a relationship look at personality? I mean that would make sense considering sex is more prevalent and accepted in today’s culture than it has ever been. People today look for sex and sexual compatibility first and if a relationship comes out of it, it’s a plus. That’s the same from my experience, people look for attrac… | /r/seduction | 01/01/20 02:47 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?They’re both great guys and really fun to hang out with. The funnier friend just has a far better sense of humor, has a “stronger” personality, and definitely leads the group. Think Tom cruise minus the looks and psychopathy/narcissism. Also, if you were to find a guy really attractive, you wouldn’t date him just because of incompatible personalities? I get how that works, but from my experience, girls also tend to give the attractive guy MANY more chances and some even make excuses and reasons … | /r/seduction | 31/12/19 06:08 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I know what my funny friend is doing right... it’s not that hard to notice pushing and pulling and spiking emotions. He knows how to attract interest using social proof. He uses body language in a way that makes women feel they’re slowly winning him over and he has a stronger frame because his sense of humor dictates the pace of conversations. Of course all of this is subtle but people don’t need “game” to see it. Despite all that, the results of my attractive friend are more consistent, of high… | /r/seduction | 31/12/19 05:26 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Maybe for unattractive dudes. My attractive friend’s numbers barely ghost or flake on him. When I say “numbers” I meant HIS numbers. And yes I do know this cuz he would show me how the texts he had with the girl “from the other day” | /r/seduction | 31/12/19 04:32 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?And you can tailor how much you’re willing to invest in game and learning game depending on how big of a difference being good looking makes (hence why I asked the question) because if you’re not a good looking guy and good looks make a big difference, then learning game isn’t going to affect your results any differently than playing the numbers game. | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 02:25 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?It’s a good point because I didn’t consider the women who eye fucked my attractive friend still would never choose to be with him because they are LOYAL to their SO. I completely overlooked the variable that people can be loyal too and for a moment, I simply saw people as shallow and willing to upgrade to the next available eye candy they come across. | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 02:21 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?So with your redhead singer, do you think she would’ve stayed if you had been confident? Did you consider that maybe your personality isn’t as big a variable in the decision she made and that’s he would’ve made that decision regardless? | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 02:01 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I’ve literally observed my friends with amazing game and amazing personalities (one of whom is a loaded anaesthesiologist and an overall great guy) who are unable to get results with the volume and consistency my attractive friend can get. I don’t understand why looks don’t matter because I witness the EXACT OPPOSITE happening all the time. Looks don’t just make a difference, they make a MASSIVE difference. | 1 | So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Another man’s success does impact yours if that other consistently successful man is your friend and women want him, not you :/ Basically in the club, it feels like the other girl is humoring you while their friend talks to your attractive friend. In the meantime, while you guys are vibing, you can tell either she’s not all there or that she’s still throwing glances at your attractive friend. | 1 | So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?This makes so much more sense than “looks don’t matter”. So much so that I’m surprised how that mentality even made it to the point where people shut down statements like those. | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 02:30 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?But what people don’t mention enough in this sub and even to the point of vehemently denying is the fact that looks play such a big factor that it decides whether you have the opportunity to express the many other traits women find attractive in men. It can also either let you get away with missing a lot of those unattractive things, or it can prevent you from needing those things altogether, as is the case with my friend | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 02:07 AM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Well the two options you have for me is “keep fishing even though it’s a hard time, or stop fishing and starve”. What I’m asking is “is it worth fishing when fishing is hard? Or is it better to stop fishing and not catch any fish but meanwhile, you’re improving your fishing rod and reading up on how to be a better fisherman or maybe doing something else you might be more passionate about” Maybe what I have to do to succeed is to quit trying for women because looks are too significant a factor an… | /r/seduction | 30/12/19 01:50 AM

His attractiveness buys him an instant phone number from girls who are available (trust me I’ve seen it. He doesn’t have to do much). | 1 | So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?There isn’t much to learn. He’s attractive. Talk, has nice hair, has nice style, muscular, good face, etc. Signs of attraction? Girls make it so obvious that any posts about IOIs can be summed up to “if you have to ask, she’s probably not attracted”. They take LONG glances at him, they “put on a show” if they have other girl friends and get twice as loud, they fix their hair and throw occasional glances. It’s really not subtle at all. | 2 | So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I meant the unattractiveness of the guy, not the girl. Like at what point of ugliness would make it so time consuming for a guy to get with one attractive girl that he would be better of spending that time elsewhere, like maybe on himself? For example. If I was really attractive and I’m guaranteed to go home with a girl any given night, I would be going out EVERY night. BUT, since I’m not attractive, would it be better for me to stay home and develop my business instead? Or learn other skills? O… | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 06:43 PM |
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Good point... | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 06:27 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Not being good looking is an excuse to not go out because all that time, money, and effort you’re spending could go down the drain the second a more attractive dude comes by. And this applies both to one night at a club, and to a 5 year relationship. In other words, if looks have the significant impact that they do, at what “unattractiveness” and levels of investment is it not worth for any guy to pursue women considering that time could be spent on something with more return on investment? | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 05:38 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Your friends have GFs because because coming to the conclusion attractiveness matters doesn’t mean unattractive people can’t have GFs. Additionally, an ugly person having an attractive GF doesn’t dispute that looks matter. | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 05:25 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I’m not sure this is the right mentality. Not trying isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you’re investing that time in yourself to make things easier for you down the road. That’s like telling a boxer “if you don’t punch, you’ll never land a hit” ignoring the fact that there are 12 rounds in a match. | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 05:20 PM
So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?Yeah good question. That’s the point I’m in right now. I’m focusing on myself and can at least get some return on my investment by doing that. Spending it trying get women when you’re fighting a really steep uphill battle doesn’t seem like a smart move, especially considering all that time you spend with/on them could just go down the drain the second some really attractive dude says the right things at the right time. Yeah it’s definitely unfair that average guys are the second option and will … | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 05:12 PM

So looks don’t matter, but why doesn’t it?I agree with attractiveness being relative to the guy around you, but wouldn’t a head turning type of attractive be considered universally attractive? The guy I mentioned above literally turns ALL heads and gets second glances even from REALLY attractive women. So should I not hang around this guy? | /r/seduction | 29/12/19 04:35 PM

My #1 rule of seduction: Never fucking chaseNot if you’re attractive. I have a friend and everywhere he goes girls will either follow them with their eyes or throw multiple glances at him. | 2 | A line from the book Rich dad poor dad which can be applied to pickup as well. That's a weird line since all successful people have overcome some kind of self doubt, but not all people who overcome self doubt become successful. That can be applied to pickup too. All men who have girlfriends have talked to women, but not all men who have talked to women can get girlfriends. I guess my point is self-doubt isn't the one thing that holds all of us back when it comes to seduction. For example, if a girl straight up tells you "no", there's no room for any kind of doubt there, se… | /r/seduction | 18/12/19 06:35 PM

Need looksmaxing advice / any adviceSome people just don't have it in the looks department and that's fine. A guy who can turn heads of women but doesn't do anything about is less effective than a guy who can talk to 5 women and get laid from one. How much action are you actually taking? If you can't win the game in the looks department, just don't lose in that department and win elsewhere down the road. | /r/seduction | 18/12/19 06:24 PM
Are there any video examples of attractive confidence?Yeah Tyler’s infields are good. What I can’t tell is if the women are enjoying it or tolerating it. Honestly if a random dude came up and hugged me, I’d humor him and be super giggly too, but it could be out of nervousness. | /r/seduction | 17/11/19 09:52 PM
Are there any video examples of attractive confidence?I've been checked out by girls for being with a lot of girls. I know social proof works. Confidence, not so much. I know being insecure is a turn off, but I have no proof that confidence is a turn on other than everyone saying it is. | /r/seduction | 17/11/19 11:49 AM

It's not you, women just don't like to be approached in publicThat analogy doesn't work because the deer doesn't want to be hunted and will tell you wrong information with the intent to mislead you. | 1 | Is that an IOII mentioned this exact idea in one of my other replies on this thread. This idea works best with safe statements where she judges you by your delivery, not the content of your speech. The issue is if you say something too pretentious or sexually aggressive, you could be smooth in your delivery but will still cause her to reject you because she can't just overlook the content and what it implied. So yeah it does matter to some extent and it's totally worth focusing on. | /r/seduction | 04/06/19 01:35 AM

Just saw this sub and holy shizYes feeling disappointment is a choice and yeah I’ve thought about this rationally. If you know people can be better but instead they choose (not necessarily consciously) NOT to be better while also enforcing a status quo that puts women as the main motivator for a man, wouldn’t you be disappointed to? And I am taking control. Control isn’t just choosing to be happy all the time. In this case, choosing to be disappointed is better than accepting mediocrity. In this case, mediocre values. | /r/seduction | 25/05/19 05:23 AM
Just saw this sub and holy shizI disagree with the first point. Feeling disappointment isn’t a choice, nor can you invalidate a person’s disappointment just because some people have the ability or have taken the time to practice choosing how they feel. Yeah It’s okay to want women. What I consider kinda weak is making a change using “getting more women” as your sole or central motivator. I know people can’t help it and that it’s natural, but to me, it’s similar to saying you wanna travel because you wanna have awesome selfies… | /r/seduction | 24/05/19 10:00 PM
Holding eyecontact is magical and hardfrom people who are attractive and interesting. Would you say the same if the eye contact wasn't from a cute blonde with blue eyes? What you'll end up with is the conclusion and the belief that eye contact is strong and magical, when in reality, it's that eye contact is strong and magical when it's coming from someone attractive. It's important to distinguish that. | /r/seduction | 24/05/19 07:59 PM
First Number In My Life! It's not necessarily traits either. A guy with three attractive women having laughing and having fun around him and throwing him glances is instantly attractive and there is nothing to tell you that indicates the traits he has other than the women's reaction around him. | 1 | First Number In My Life! It's so strange that reading this I could tell you're a physically attractive guy. You didn't have to put that last part in there for me to guess you were attractive. The success stories of those who are less physically attractive tend to be different somehow, I can't put my finger on it. Usually the stories from less attractive guys involve them making the first approach, them asking for the number, and less overt indicators of interest from a woman. | /r/seduction | 24/05/19 07:50 PM
Here's my five tips for the men starting out who don't want to go directly into cold approaches for the fear of being a creep. I'm not saying cold approaches themselves are creepy, but when first starting off someone can easily make them that way. This is more like a warm approach.Sounds to me like the people this advice applies to are already in the upper percentages in terms of probably perceived social value and/or physical attractiveness because a lot of guys here struggle with getting girls to check them out, much less actually have girls be excited to hang out with them. In other words, for guys starting out who DON'T get these ioi's, cold approach is the only way to force the ball on her court. Otherwise, what you'd end up with is a guy insecurely scanning the room… | /r/seduction | 24/05/19 07:45 PM

For example, women say they like funny guys but I promise you, the funniest guys are the most attractive ones. In other words, when they say they're attracted to guys who can make them laugh, they're saying they're attracted to guys they find attractive. Just wondering because I've never had this experience but I want to be prepared when the time comes. It's kind of a nightmare scenario for me actually. | /r/seduction | 21/09/17 03:58 AM |

Being present in the moment? Also, it manifests itself biologically by having high testosterone and low cortisol. This gives you that overly chilled out and leaning back vibe like nothing can go wrong because you obviously won't die and anything else besides that is ok. It has been shown that having this biological makeup allows you to naturally emulate characteristics of leaders. "alpha males", guys with a lot of friends and/or with a woman, leaders, and people of high authority have been shown to have high testosterone an… | /r/seduction | 22/06/16 07:31 AM
If you ask a girl for her number, and she doesn't give it to you. Is there a way to follow up and increase your chances a second time?Because this is outer game stuff involving canned lines, you have to deliver it with the correct frame and the correct vibe. When zach says "your facial expression should be a smile like you're on to her just playing hard to get whilst she actually does want you" you actually have to know what zach's frame was when he said this to deliver his lines with success. Otherwise you'll come off as creepy, sleazy or pushy because you'd be incongruent. This is also where experience comes in and its why p… | /r/seduction | 18/05/15 05:53 AM
Is it possible for a short guy to be alpha? Its the opposite imho. Tyler durden from the youtube link above, hit it spot on. It's more like learned helplesness, not doing anything to compensate for the obvious disadvantage and wallowing in self pity instead. | /r/seduction | 24/03/15 05:39 AM
Is it possible for a short guy to be alpha? Thanks man! yeah, personally there is something about people who fake being the shit. It seems really incongruent and i cringe when i watch them strut with their chests out but to be honest, i have friends like that and it worked for them. Eventually, they got girlfriends and their fake walk gradually changed to the "poised, im in control, i dont need to walk fancy cuz i KNOW im the shit walk". Fake it till u make it i guess | /r/seduction | 24/03/15 05:30 AM
Is it possible for a short guy to be alpha?Yes! That guy is the epitome of confidence. I like his canned line when someone calls him short "Doesn't matter, I'm big where it counts". If that's not confidence, idk what is. Thanks! | /r/seduction | 24/03/15 05:24 AM
Is it possible for a short guy to be alpha? Thanks! yeah, a message like yours is most probably the reason seddit was made. especially for the self improvement part and inner game part | /r/seduction | 24/03/15 04:58 AM

I'd appreciate an invite to BitSeduceApplication is important too, there's nothing like getting feedback (bad or good) on "the field". techniques and tactics r like papers, philosophies and theories are the folders and experience is like the file cabinet. you wont just be a jumbled mess of theories nd techniques because talking to ppl will get u feedback that will allow u to learn more about urself nd what works for u. u'll also start recognizing patterns and drawing correlations between the material you've learned thus far and not… | /r/seduction | 05/10/14 07:28 AM
Is Zan Perrion's stuff legit? What are your opinions on his philosphy?i highly suggest it. its kinda long but man... the guy has a way with words. Instead of telling u this nd that, what he does is he allows u to feel what its like to see the world the way he does. its a different level of teaching but he talks about how "men fall in love with their eyes nd women fall in love with their ears" nd he demonstrates it throughout the book. Even the story itself is abstract. A lot of deep symbolism if u read between the lines | /r/seduction | 27/08/14 03:23 AM
Is Zan Perrion's stuff legit? What are your opinions on his philosphy?I definitely agree with u, a LOT of positive psychology going on there. Zan makes great use of the self fulfilling prophecy and seeing the good in people. Its admirable if nothing else. way to point that out! | /r/seduction | 27/08/14 03:17 AM

Is Zan Perrion's stuff legit? What are your opinions on his philosphy?Awesome! thx for clearin that up. i was quoting mystery's nd david deangelo's work but from what i understand, ur saying to do whatever works. Being genuine and authentic is important to me as well. This is y im hoping zan's philosophy is the real deal cuz its the best fit for me. we were all newbies at one point nd im trying to get to where i won't "need" those guidelines nd these answers definitely help | /r/seduction | 26/08/14 09:53 PM
Is Zan Perrion's stuff legit? What are your opinions on his philosphy?i guess its in the name, thats probably how mystery nd style do it. lol | /r/seduction | 26/08/14 07:58 PM
Should I pretend to not remember her name?its not genuine tho. instead u should genuinely ask them how much sleep they got because they look tired. i do that if they dont put any effort into how they look. but they might actually be swamped with work nd stuff. in that case, tell them ur on the same boat only if its true. be genuine, ingenuinity signals manipulative intent. | /r/seduction | 26/08/14 07:51 PM
