I agree with all of this but like, why does activism always have to be a fucking competition with you guys? Why do you think that your problems invalidate the problems that women have? You all want to complain about feminism because you feel it tries to invalidate you or treat you as inferior right? Then why the fuck are you doing the same thing? How about actually trying to make changes instead of just complaining about feminism all the time like, Jesus fuck.

Some girls have to take birth control because their periods are too heavy and painful and The Pill helps regulate it. The parent's consent thing is because of overzealously religious parents and the like not listening to doctors. Taking a birth control pill doesn't necessarily mean you're promiscuous or even having sex, anyway. Also some young girls have sex anyway so isn't it better to help them do it safely?

I'm a special snowflake because I don't think women are literally animals and/ or blame all my problems on roughly half the world's population? Yeah, okay, why don't you go tell your mommy that, sweetheart, see what she says.

Multiple things I'm gonna say here, okay: 1.Editing your posts to try to make me look dumb is bullshit so stop 2.There's no reason to down vote me, I wasn't (purposely) rude and I tried to stay open to everyone's views 3. I realize now that I fucked up, I was on mobile at first and didn't see the side bar and I didn't know what y'all's name actually stood for but when I figured it out I was like fuck it I'm already here so why not 4. In continuation of 3, I'm a women who supports equality so bas…

I feel like the "breaking the glass ceiling" thing kinda goes hand in hand with that though right? If someone's higher on the work and money totem pole they're less likely to need someone else for support. Also I mentioned the law because you asked how someone could sue. I admit though, I suck at wording things and probably haven't been very clear. My point was, feminists haven't said that as a statement because its not been seen as a prominent problem. I didn't mean to suggest you as an idiot, …

its illegal to discriminate based on gender in the workplace. Its not illegal to rely on a man for money. Except for cases involving prenup. Videos by skeptics are not viable sources if they don't cite anything. I cited something related to wage gap (that itself has sources) in another comment, read that and its sources before you reply again please. Its possible to snuff out the popularity of something but, humans being humans its impossible to completely wipe it out. Is racism socially accepte…

Y'all are confused. The point is to get rid of absolute gender based societal expectations as a whole. Its fucked up for everyone. Its called patriarchy because of the old (like 1800's and things like that) traditional society where men ruled everything and women were just baby making machines with boobs. Its not like that anymore, obviously, but there's still bits of leftover stigma that needs to be dealt with. Like the boys have to like blue or they're gay or not good enough thing, that's bull…

I probably did use that word wrong. You can sue your business but you can't sue your wife, basically is what I was trying to say. Also, a lot of women in my family make more than their male counterpart so maybe I'm biased in that regard.

Its not a law, but it happens in the workplace and not in the home. That's what I meant by institutionalized. And correct me if I'm wrong but, I thought the "breadwinner" stereotype was one that feminists were against in the first place, though.

That's true.

So all feminists are gold diggers then? By necessity? Or do they just support the concept of stealing money from men?

Oh. Question though ( and not meant to be attacking in any way), but, if all women are one way, does that mean all men are one way on things?

The first one, mostly, I guess. I know no one probably believes it's real in this subreddit and that's fine, just wanted to point out a problem.

People aren't all the same, though. Happy marriages based on love do exist. Maybe they're rare but, they exist. And it doesn't really make sense evolution-wise, I think, for women to instinctually be "gold-diggery". Money and the societal systems surrounding it has really been around long enough for that. Also, don't women have jobs, too, usually? That's kind of the point of the equal pay thing right? So why would they need to steal a man's money as a primary source of income?

Technically isn't this generalizing though? There's so many people in the world that there always has to be at least ONE deviation. Not EVERY women can be one way just like not EVERY man can be one way. I actually think the "most women can fuck who and when they want" thing is almost right though probably actually. Maybe not the "who" part (not every women in the world has fucked Ryan Reynolds or Brad Pitt after all) but the "when" part maybe. Also please don't attack me, I don't mean to offend.

No offense but technically couldn't you hire a hooker? Since you've got no shame and stuff? And it also falls into the things that you want because pretty women can be prostitutes and they're probably nice for selling reasons at least.

That makes no fucking sense. While yes, some women exploit men for money, it's not institutionalized like women being payed less than men for doing the same job. Marrying/ dating a gold digger is a personal thing, like infidelity. You can't just "extinguish" it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
