Absolutely true. Each 3.5mi run is like 500cal burn.

Totally agree.

I disagree, I was 230lbs 1.5yrs ago and dropped 50lbs purely through running. Now the amount of running required is substantial (I try and get 35+ mi a week) but it can be done.

So... you do know that this sub is around sexual strategy.... right? Do you want more sex? DO what YOU WANT. Don't be a dick and have fun? I bet if you were out doing more fun stuff with your woman she'd want to do that with you than hanging with her family. The truly hard part is being happy by yourself and a woman actually making you happier... good fucking luck. 👏 if you have. I'm in a marriage with a woman that likes to have starfish sex... and I've realized I want variety... guess what, if …

OYS #1 - I wasn't going to write this, but I took some advice, and instead of being butthurt - I've decided to use the time to work on myself so here it goes. I've been working on myself, starting with the fundamentals of real problem solving vs. my misconstrued idea of reality. To do this I plan on utilizing some core techniques to problem solving that are super effective in many different realms of business and manufacturing. I've learned this week that the way I think of my goals (in work, an…

Not approach anxiety. I just don't get results so I don't know what works. I have 0 problems flirting with ladies out and about.

I don't initiate sex well. She dogs on me about it if the kids are even remotely around, I'll smack her ass every once in a while. But she mentions that I ignore her unless the kids are in bed then I'm on her like a fly on shit wanting pussy.

You're a year out, how has initiation evolved for you?

I am going to re-read the sidebar and get back to lifting this evening. But saying and doing are two different things. Perhaps I can prove it in time.

1

No I'm not. I have some anger issues, I haven't been back in the gym in about 6 months. Yeah I'm a real piece of shit. I was more asking for some crawl, walk, run type steps to this stuff since I tend to go full force and then fizzle quick.
/r/askMRP15/06/19 01:25 PM
1

I think it has to do with being comfortable with being uncomfortable. I am not there yet. I started lifting, pulled a muscle in my groin and fell back into old habits. I shouldn't have done that. I got some good sex a couple times... And it was validation, perhaps a bit of monk mode would have helped.

In reply to 41) for those that don't understand... Fill your "nothing box" with important/fun things. Then override her "everything box" with your idea of an "everything box" if you're filling your box, she'll notice and soon enough you'll be filling her box ;-).

In Hinduism it's stated that one should not seek happiness but rather find happiness in the actions you take toward a goal. I think this falls right in line with everything you are stating here.

If you have to have your "feelings" talk about shit like a man with your guy friends who are at least in the same emotional realm as you. Women don't understand why guys like to solve problems and vent to vent, men do shit to solve problems. With that said, you should expect your buddies to probably give helpful feedback other than just saying, "Sandra's a bitch I'd totally unfriend her...".

I love this post. I dance, I'm not too great at it, but I'll give it a go at weddings, where the opportunity permits. I always try and find ladies standing round not dancing and tell them to come dance with me. Dancing can be all you said and all OP said, but in all fairness if you haven't danced in front of people with anyone watching, it takes confidence and women love confident men (you don't have to be better than others, you just have to be better than most, and most aren't dancing).

Not to discount you, as any lifting is better than no lifting for many of us, but Stronglifts 5x5 has been debunked by /r/fitness as not being all that good. Check out the /r/fitness will for alternatives. Since redpill is mostly about peacocking, check out the Building The Monolith workout and diet (not really a diet as much of an, eat everything). Love your use of "re-brand" kind of makes the transformation more objective. Forces you to look at yourself as someone from the outside. Much with that, is how it's easier to be told to do something because someone else did it and it worked for them than it is to just do it and see for yourself. By taking an objective view you are able to put the "it's hard" out of the question, you see yourself doing the work.

Ignore her attempts to gain frame... It's hard... Just do it. I made the mistake of taking finances over right away... That was her baby, but we weren't saving any money. She talked and i crumbled. She dug deep, even cried that I don't let her do it. I made a sacrifice to let her be a part of it, it's all joint checking and her income too. In the end. So much this but I'll add. OP is questioning his own desires and fighting back blue pill Rambo style as he hasn't learned to catch the fly with chopsticks yet. OP, your wife has value (I hope, and don't be mad at her if you failed to lead her) does she wash and fold your dirty underoos? Wash dishes? Clean up after your kids? Take the dog out? - hopefully. I love this post. My ADHD has kicked my ass for years. In a big fan of Todoist as well as using my phones (Galaxy note 8s) reminder feature. I also have a problem remembering deadlines... So I get 3 reminders at different intervals for priority 1 meetings, and 2 reminders for the rest.

We do it because of basic human need. I need to get my rocks off just as bad as the next guy. I'll say I'm one of them. I live in a purely logical world and it is very hard for me to see this emotional whirlwind of women. Even since day one she hasn't liked PDA. But I get it, that's not the point you were tryig to call out. It doesn't make me a retard to be uneducated in the art of gaming my wife. If anything I was ignorant to the fact that this is something I should have learned growing up from male role models in my life. I want to learn now as I have been so enlightened. But thanks, it was nice to be called a retard by someone this morning by someone who doesn't know me.

Start working on not giving a fuck about her or your outcome of the relationship. You'll be fine... She will not. Then start figuring out something to do positive when you get angry with her - lift, take the kids outside for a walk, clean some mess up, take a Phillips head screwdriver around the house and tighten the bolts. Don't ask just do. Start building dread and a life that you can have if she doesn't want to step up. You are a happy, motivated person. Regardless of her. Get improving.

I agree with all in. But definitely layer it in. Kind of like a new drug user shouldn't snort an entire 8-ball their first time. You shouldn't instantly go monk, make all major life choices at the same time right away,. Try to understand your wife pictures you in a specific way, and they are keen on emotion - "she's a woman ". Something I don't see enough when dread is talked about though is that you shouldn't be mad or resentful when you use it. Remember, you're the strong alpha, be fun, have fun, and don't let stupid emotions have you doing dumb shit. If you're going out with the guys, it's fun for you- you shouldn't be thinking about (man this dread is so going to make her want me because fuck her I do what I want). Have fun, that's it. I've once been told that Anger is a secondary emotion. Figure out what is causing the anger (frustration, sadness, anxiety, impatience) and work on conditioning those to not affect you. I've used it successfully on my wife when she is angry by saying, "you aren't angry, what's wrong" it often comes down to her being hung up with her mom's medical issues and it just brings her down.

Obviously though her anger is a secondary emotion and she has a few family members not doing well (mother has cancer, niece having health issues at 2 years old). I want to give her comfort, I do, but I feel like she should seek it rather than automatically expect it now. I'm no white knight anymore.

Bluepill dad and mom who is bipolar as fuck... So basically yes. No I'm not complaining, trying to figure out if this is a pass, fail, or something in the middle.

She makes comments on my diet. We were going out with our friends last night and she was being shitty, "what are you going to do about your diet?" I said, "I'm going to eat some pizza if you must know" "but isn't that against your diet?" "Yes" and she tried to start in more... It's not her fucking problem to worry about my diet.

So the top comment in the link you mentioned in your first post is in regards to MRP women and their passive aggressiveness. Do I nip it in the bud or STFU and lift with a little implementation of shit test busting?

Moving slow is key. I'm running the map and squashing reds. I've already created a budget and am working out doing starting strength. I wanted to move onto the social aspects between my wife and I to try and hit it from all sides.

I've tried the shit test solving but she mentioned once that my sarcasm sucks... I laughed it off. My A & A responses suck and unfortunately most examples I can find are what you'd say when trying to pick up a chick... Not to a wife.

I've been stfu and I've read NMMNG 2x WISNIFG is near the end (I should probably read it again at least the second half). There is a lot of garbage in that book the techniques is where its at.

I absolutely agree. I'm not asking for the easy way. I have a stumbling point and asked a question. I'm so used to this hole I dug and one of the major pieces of scaffolding to repairing this mess, that is myself, is identifying and destroying shit tests. I guess what I'm looking for is something along the lines of "if what she says benefits only her its a shit test." Or "if all she says judges your integrity as a man", its a shit test. The Passive-Agressiveness is huge too and goes along with t…

Get digital copies. And put them on your phone. Open another amazon account just for books if you must. I have a rule where I only read on rest days between lifting the weekends are for getting shit done around the house, and I check Reddit on my breaks. I'm fairly new to this all as well, shoot me some private messages if you want someone at your level. I'm 28 married for 4 years, together for 8, beta for all of them. We have a 6 month old little girl at home. My life is Being the best dad --> …

And FFS you don't need to fix it. Fix yourself so that either A.) It doesn't bother you anymore/is a non issue, or B.) It fixes itself to your acceptance (i e. Lift then read, if you build it (a good piece of man trophy) good things will come).

Debating doing this as a part of a lifestyle change... Could you post a sample of meals you eat? I cook for the family so family meals are great.

I've gotten to this second state, how do you combat those statements? "You're being such a dick lately?" "Go on, just walk away like you always do." Just got a gym membership, and she says, "When are you going to do that? Your just going to leave me and the baby home alone?". I'm so bad at answering these attacks. I often just state facts, " yep, I need to get back in the gym."
