My ex wife just turned 45. She 1) has always been financially dependent on either me or her father, 2) works for her father in a cushy job, and 3 ) lives in a house owned by her father despite receiving in the high 6 figures in the divorce settlement. Yet, if you hooked her up to a polygraph machine, she'd pass if you asked her if she was a strong independent woman. The hamster wheel is strong

I've said this before on here, if you think you've met a unicorn you almost certainly have someone with a cluster b personality disorder- narcissistic, borderline or histrionic. They're black belts at mirroring you and giving you exactly what you want... until that mask slips, which usually takes 6 months to a year.

After my separation but before my divorce was finalized I bought a Powerball ticket when the pot was at a billion or so. All I could think was how bittersweet it would be if I won. Even though we had agreed in writing to split assets as of the separation date, you just know she'd have come for it.

Look up stronglifts 5x5, it's a good starter for powerlifting. Get a weight bench, Olympic bar and weights and a squat rack. If you keep an eye on craigslist you'll usually find something cheap depending on how close you are to a metro area. Good luck and remember to get your form down first. If you squat with a bent back and dont go far enough down, it's not going to help and you'll hurt yourself. Good luck.

You do you. The key point is doing what you want, not what society or anyone else wants you to do. I think the striving for capital gain you see is as simple as money equals freedom. Even if you can live happily on 20,000 a year, you'll still need to save up some to provide an income flow so you can tell anyone, including potential employers, to fuck off if you feel like it.

Gen z has been connected to a smart phone since before they hit puberty. Unlimited access to porn makes sex nothing special or mysterious. Insta and snap have shown them hypergamy and af/bb. If it's a female counselor (and it almost always is) they spend a few sessions trying to ram that blue pill back down your throat before you spit it back up. In order to make counseling work you have to get one or both to willingly change. Now who do you suppose that's going to be most times? I remember we spent 8 weeks working on all my faults. Then counselor turns to ex and says hey your problem is you still have a teenager relationship with your parents and you need to make it an adult one. S…

When a hammer breaks do you mourn it? Perhaps if it was the best, most reliable hammer that never let you down for 20 years you might feel remorse at losing it but it was just a tool, you're not going to lose sleep over it. Well, that's how women view men. It's just simple evolutionary psychology. When the average life span was 25 years and a woman physically needed male protection to survive, the females that mourned too long did not survive to pass on their genes.

Crap. On phone and hit send early First paragraph should read- Hold off on the estimated taxes. If your 2018 income was $150,000 or less (and it looks like it was), then you can avoid a penalty if, during 2019, you withheld from your paycheck 100 percent of your 2018 income tax liability from last year.

Hold off on the estimated taxes. If your 2018 income was $150,000 or less (and it looks like it was), then you can avoid a penalty if, during 2019, 100 percent of your 2018 income tax liability from last year. You'll still owe the money come April but there will not be a penalty. So make sure your withholding is adjusted so you pay at least the amount in total taxes you paid for 2018 including any amounts you owed when you filed this year. One thing to note is if you increase your 401k your tax w…

Deducting more from your paycheck doesn't lower your tax bill it just prepays it. After your standard deduction you're going to be in the 24% marginal bracket, plus whatever your state rate is. Max that 401k up to 19k and it will save you some serious tax liability. Also look for any capital gains losses you can harvest though it doesn't sound like you have investment accounts. One caveat, while you're maxing out that 401k make sure you have plenty to pay the tax bill next April. You're going to…

Not sure why, but the formatting is all screwed up on my paste job. Your point is correct, however, country is kind of cucked, especially the newer stuff that tries to appeal to women. Because the conditioning is so strong. I had never heard of briffaults law and honestly had no idea of the true female nature. Oh sure, I knew they could be emotional and flighty but i believed they were still capable of loving someone and putting the team before themself. Yep. My ex went to law school, racked up a shit ton of student debt and discovered her maternal instinct after working less than a year as a lawyer. Guess who ended up paying those off? Well, if you're talking about admitting all this on her own without him first confronting her with mountains of evidence, then I actually am surprised a woman would do this. What's her end goal here? It's not guilt, as she claims, because I dont think they feel guilt in the sense we understand it - they instead feel shame and that requires getting caught. I think 2012 is about right. For the reelection I think Obama realized all he needed to push him over the top was the female vote. That's when you had sandra fluke testifying to Congress why free birth control was a God given right (not access to birth control, mind you, but free birth control). Since he was right, the other politicians noticed.

Oh they understand the math just fine. You have to in order to present it in the only way that it appears a gender gap exists. They're just flummoxed someone has the balls to finally call them out on their blatant deception. Their reaction is that of a child that has always been allowed to do something they know is wrong but finally a disvipinarian shows up. My favorite was her attempt to imply men work 12 hour days but they dont get as much done.

Opportunistically. That's the only way they love. True story about a girl at work. Cute girl, late 20s, smart, good personality, nice to people, not fat, hard worker, etc. By all accounts as close to NAWALT as you're going to get. She recently moved in with her boyfriend and is in a serious relationship. When the lotto got huge we all bought a ticket and I jokingly asked if she'd still keep the boyfriend around if she won. She hesitated, thought about it and said, in all seriousness, "probably".…

After the clusterfuck that was the Vietnam draft, if there ever is an actual draft the shit is getting real and feminism will take a back seat to the crisis at hand. I, and pretty much every other US poster on here, had to register for the draft. I went down to the post office when I was 18, filled out a card and never really thought about it again. But the reaction of females to the very thought that they might have to register for a theoretical draft that would be very unlikely to ever happen …

I read the book Bad Blood last week. When the shit was hitting the fan, her proposed solution was make accusations of misogyny against the male journalist who was writing the articles about the fraud and then talk about how she had been sexually assaulted in college. Her PR firm shot that down, but it does give some insight into the mind of a modern strong independent woman.

Big snowstorm yesterday so my teenage son grabbed the shovel and went to make some money. He came across a middle aged lady shoveling her driveway and asked if she wanted him to do it. She said yes. After he finished, she said was this your good deed for the day? He of course, said yes, then she just went inside without paying him. I've been slipping him red pills but I think he swallowed a giant one yesterday. He also shoveled a man's driveway but he paid him $20 and told him good job.

Interesting that you wrote this then- "If you wanna know why you're still a virgin, that attitude is why. I think the better question is why is your identity and self worth wrapped up in your ability to get with women and receive their attention? Look deeply and you may find something there. And please dont respond with your virgin incel bit. I've got 2 kids and just 2 days ago turned down an invitation to have sex with a fwb because it meant sacrificing time I could spend with my son. I disagree with your assertion that the index won't provide optimal returns. 95% of investors (basically anyone not named Buffett or privy to inside info or expertise) are better off putting an investment in a low cost index fund, put contributions on autopilot and forget about it until you need it. I have a 14 year old son that I've raised from day one. He's not my spitting image or anything but he's the right height and race that I'm pretty sure he's mine. But, if I found out otherwise (and let's not kid ourselves that's always a real possibility in any relationship), I wouldn't change a thing. If that makes me a cuck, then so be it. Childbirth used to be a huge deal. Like a shitload of women died doing it. But with the wonders of modern medicine you can get an epidural and all you feel is the pressure so you can tell when to push. I mean, I've witnessed 2 pregnancies up close, and it's uncomfortable and generally unpleasant, but, as with all things affecting them, women exaggerate it to make it seem like they're storming Omaha beach.

I have an evolutionary theory along these lines as to why women will fight about every single thing. When early man fought someone was going to die, so it had better be important. The men that learned to let the little shit go were more likely to survive and pass on genes. Women would not physically fight but fight among each other for social status. So going to the mat over every stinking issue did not risk physical harm but instead raised their social standing among their peers, increasing acc…

Watch her head explode trying to explain why its ok for the government to restrict what a woman can do with her body in that situation. You can smell the hamster wheel burning from the friction. Bottom line, when you've got a monopoly on a valuable commodity, simple economics dictates you will try to restrict other competitors from entering the market.

Read briffaults law and related corrolaries. Once the male has provided a benefit (e.g. legally given her the right to half your shit) any prior promise made by female (sex multiple times a week) is null and void. This is not a theory it's a freaking iron law of nature, like natural selection and gravity. Though I do respect the fact she was so upfront about the transactional nature of the relationship, they're usually a bit more subtle. The guy she meets at 30 when she's really desperate will n…

I once dated a girl that talked all sorts of shit about basketball. So we played and I just took it easy until she said "you're not trying your hardest, quit taking it easy on me because I'm a girl, it's insulting." Women have always been wired this way but what you're seeing is what happens with more opportunity (social media) and less consequences (relaxed social morals and daddy government to help out via forced alimony and/or welfare). Be 100% sure of the laws where you are. In every US jurisdiction I know of they have some sort of concept of imputed income. If your work history says you could make 100k, but you are only making 30k, the court will adjust your alimony and child support based on 100k. Women are capable of loving their children, it's merely a genetic extension of them, after all. In fact biology/evolution would predict it just as they would predict hypergamy. Despite my smartass response to the op (No offense battling, I was just pointing out female solipsism), he is correct that the only way women will turn on metoo is if it starts harming enough women or extensions of women- i.e. their children.

I don't think it's a dumb or smart thing in the example I used. It's just every situation is not a question of "what's right or ethical or best for society" instead it is what is best for me (first consideration), then blood relatives (second), then my gender (third). She just reflexively jumped to the third tier without first considering the second tier. It is their basic programming.

Only vaguely related to the topic but what the hell, it reminded me of this. My daughter was accepted into an advanced class for math that was about 80% male and my then wife started making noise about how she wanted to complain about how it discriminated against girls. Now, the reasonable argument would be it's freaking math, it should go to the highest scores, I don't care if it's 100% Asian or female as long as it's on merit. But realizing what I was dealing with I simply pointed out that our…

Women generally don't form strong relationships, the only exception is for close family. Easy to ghost if you don't form an attachment in the first place.

Does it say something like this? Approach him, maintaining strong eye contact and displaying a confident demeanor. Ask him if he wants to fuck. Leave establishment with him. I'm always amazed at girls acting like a high n count is some accomplishment. If you like fucking, go for it, but let's not act like you did something 95% of the female population couldn't also do it if they wanted.

Sally Jenkins, author of that article and uber feminist, owes her career to... wait for it... her father. Reading the comments was great. Makes me think we've reached peak pussy pass and the world is starting to understand. They've overplayed their hand and revealed their true nature to even the most non-observant simps.

Telling a co-worker or family member to fuck off (maybe not literally telling them that in a work setting) is seen as beta? I don't see how, but then I also don't really care what they see me as, just leave me alone. Granted, I'm pretty set in my career and just a couple years from pulling the cord on early retirement. Maybe someone interested in moving up in a job where being seen as alpha was a necessity would need that though.

All this advice is more PUA passing of shit tests. For mgtow passing, I just treat them the same as I would a dude. Would I accept that behavior from a male? If not, I tell them to fuck off or handle whatever they're whining about themselves.

Yep. This story is going to be so buried by the press, you can see it's already starting. At first, it was about police incompetence and they got tingles breathlessly reporting it. Oh, its actually a fatal lover's quarrel showing the violent tendency of females? Move along, just another tragic gun death. Nothing to see here.

When I look back on all the red flags I ignored with my ex, the very first one I can remember is us getting on a bus and her barging on before letting people get off at their stop. Seems like such a small thing but in hindsight just shows a lack of situational awareness and just a general selfish nature. Just got back from the grocery store and it was a madhouse. Every time someone had left a cart in the middle of the lane and caused a backup for everyone else it was a chick. Every. Single. Time…

Depends. Are you a good student? What do you want to do and does it require a degree? How much will it cost? The days of just getting any college degree with any GPA and automatically getting a good job are long gone. Do a cost benefit analysis but for many it no longer makes sense. I graduated in the 90s from a well respected public school and my tuition cost per semester was around $500. It made sense then for virtually any degree. I think rampant tuition inflation has definitely skewed the an…

Professors are the most blue pilled SJW profession in the world, especially outside of STEM where they might be required to, you know, get actual concrete results. It's practically a prerequisite for the job. The prof probably gave them As and congratulated them on being resourceful strong independent women that were overcoming the patriarchy.

Are you asking why hypergamy just recently happened? It didn't. It's an evolutionary trait that has always been there, just social constraints reined it in a bit. If you're asking why it's more obvious now, it's because third wave feminism and social media are glorifying it and those social constraints have been lifted.

My strong independent ex is well into her 40s, and has always been financially dependent on a man. Her father, then me, then her father again after the divorce, despite receiving a rather substantial settlement in that process. Yet she could pass a polygraph if you asked her if she was financially independent. Boggles the mind the world they live in.

My early teen son and his buddies are red pill as hell. I look at what a simp I was at that age and am amazed at how far ahead they are. I figure feminism has overplayed it's hand so badly they can see the absurdity of the whole thing. Plus teenage boys are naturally going to rebel against whatever establishment is in place, and it's definitely a gynocentric one currently.

Ha, good luck with that. I was talking with my teenage son about this (He's red pilled at an early age) and how they're so reluctant to push themselves because they have the "I'm a girl, help me" card to play. Since he's a football player, he said it's like if Tom Brady never left college and just kept playing for michigan he wouldn't be as good as he is today (for our non-US brethren substitute Ronaldo and juniors into the analogy to better understand). Yes, son, its exactly like that.

Sheepishly raises hand. I was a massive blue pill piece of shit but in my defense I had 2 kids age 5 and 6 and she was a stay at home mom so I would have been lucky to see them every other weekend. I still almost left though. I'm all better now, though and have thankfully grown a pair. Once she went to rehab and I knew I'd be able to get at least 50% custody I was gone. The sales tax is an interesting angle but would also be unconstitutional unless the SJWs were able to pack the supreme court. What they could try to do is increase sales tax on stuff we buy (tools, beer, motorcycles) and decrease it for cosmetics and tampons. As long as they came up with some nondiscriminatory reason, it would survive the legal challenges, and it's not hard to just make up some seemingly rational reason. Of course, we'd just adjust and buy other shit, we are nothing if not flexi…

You're already divorced you just don't know it yet. I once got a big raise and told my wife I planned to max out my 401k. Her immediate response was asking since it's in my account would she be able to get it in a divorce? Yes, her first concern over my raise for my labor was how she could make sure she got her half. Also, they all are strong independent women that don't need alimony or child support until it comes time to the actual divorce proceeding. They all ask for it then. Prepare yourself…

A bachelor tax would be unconstitutional in the US but they could make the single rates way higher than they already are and make even larger credits for kids so single moms don't get hit. If this ever really did happen, go find a fellow mgtow buddy, sign some iron clad prenups, run down to the courthouse and get "married" in a civil ceremony.

A shitload of young and horny American GIs were stationed in England and many of the British males of that age were stuck in trenches in France or already killed in the early parts of WW1. We should start a similar tradition but rather than a public shaming it is a celebration you've made through and are in the clear. Call it manngehtseineinegenwegfest. Of course I would have had one of those thrown for me but still managed to be married by 32, so perhaps push the age back to 40 just to be sure.
