No. If Ukrainian women were truly that submissive, and you defined “submissive” as staying silent and avoiding politics, then their participation in politics should involve major obstacles. Other women should resent them and judge them harshly. We would constantly see articles quoting Ukrainian women saying that women are unfit for many roles and should have restricted opportunities.
