You don't have to speculate. Just look at lesbian dating dynamics. Or dating apps like Hinge where women are supposed to approach. It's often a shitshow.

Well using that analogy, the jobseeker can choose which jobs they want to apply to, which jobs they'll immediately blacklist with said employer being completely unaware, being able to play multiple job offers off of each other, and never having to deal with spam job offers sent by low-effort bots. So yeah, the jobseeker has some advantages.

On attention from unattractive women, you’d have to reverse the sex drive and socialization of the genders to simulate the sucky aspects of that. So do you actually want fifty-something fat chicks to flirt with you while you're out grocery shopping? Serious question.

I see a bunch of claims in this thread, but not a single source (beyond attractiveness blogs). Food for thought. I'll also cosign what u/LoopyPro said about Median vs mean. Dating/sexual activity is not nor has it ever been normally distributed.

I mean on one hand, people's attractions aren't objective or neutral or even immutable. There are definitely sociocultural aspects and even political aspects that can portray X ethnicity as attractive or unattractive. Most don't even realize how propaganda affected them. On the other hand, humans have different phenotypes, and not everyone will like every phenotype. Some ethnicities are taller than another. Other ethnic groups have larger/smaller noses than another. And of course, many ethnic gr…

On a national level, polyandry results in fewer kids being born and a lower birth rate. That's why Nepalese & Tibetans did it (to stop limited farmland from being useless). A woman may decide that she wants to have X number of kids regardless of how many husbands she has. But in a polyandry system, you would have elite women hogging most of the men and thus a large number of women are unmarried & childless. There are possible workarounds like using IVF or "renting out" husbands, but both of thos…

You're not wrong, but this is mostly irrelevant. If society went to shit, than obviously none of our current jobs or relationships or lifestyles would matter anymore. But all wise people plan for the future & assume society won't go to shit (unless a civil war or the apocalypse is starting up). And even in your hypothetical scenario, all that changes is that the elite men go from being nerdy multi-billionaires to self-sufficient survivalists. My same logic still applies.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 04:07 PM

The largest issue with polyandry is actually sexual jealousy (like with polygyny) and very low birth rates. That's why it only shows up in places with barely any viable land like the Himalayas. Overall though, a good list.

You have a great point that elite men are no longer elite based on their fighting capabilities or physical capacity like it was thousands of years ago. That said elite men also have far more financial/technogical power than the kings of yesteryear. So keep that in mind, especially if a woman just wants financial aid

I actually have. I traveled to Egypt 7 years ago. My neighbor during my stay was an older office manager with two wives. He actually married his 1st wife a long time ago and his 2nd wife recently. The kicker is that his 2nd wife was actually originally the best friend of the 1st wife. The 2nd wife was sad that there weren't any great Egyptian bachelors in her community and she was a bit jealous of the 1st wife. The 1st wife brought up the idea that her husband can be married to both of them. The…

That's the thing, "men" and "women" are honestly meaningless categories outside of simple biological facts (and even that gets contested thanks to the trans issue). You can say the exact same thing to 1000 random women and get up to 1000 different responses. Hell, you can say the exact same thing to the exact same woman and get an entirely different response depending on an infinite number of factors like the time of day, mood, location, her occupation, her current relationship status, her age, …

An important thing about status is that it is very relative to your location. That's literally why geomaxxing exists. A low status man in Sweden becomes a high status man if he moves to the Dominican Republic or The Philippines. The dating market is just like the job market. There's nothing objective about it. It is purely comparative.

Warren Jeffs is not a good man. But it is undeniable that cult leaders are often sexually prolific. And it's not because of their good looks or even money. The entire point is that a man doesn't have to be handsome to be promiscuous. He just has to be perceived as high-quality by the women in his community in order to do so; and good looks is only one way to accomplish that.

You have a couple warlords. But most of these men are either alive today or died this century. Jean-Michael Diot actually had most of his sexcapades in the 2000s and late 1990s. And status is definitely a huge part of romantic hookups even in 2025. That's why Instagram models fly out to Dubai and get pooped on (look it up).

Do you have any actual source or calculations for this? From life experiences alone, me & men I know spend far more money when we're in a relationship as opposed to when we're single. And there are many studies that show raising kids costs hundreds of thousands of dollars (in USA), & even raising a dog or cat costs thousands in the long run. So some industries benefit from men being single (like dating apps & manosphere influencers). A lot more would benefit from men being married (like anything…

As others have said, sex isn't a biological need because the individual can live without it. Asexual people exist and monastics go their entire life without a sexually intimate relationship. Although if you expand it to the species-wide level, sex or more like reproduction, is necessary for humanity to continue. And most marriages need regular sex to be maintained. By the way, women have sexual urges as well. This entire subreddit paints men as hypersexual animals and women as disinterested gold…

Poor people exist because there aren't exhaustive methods to redistribute limited resources & modern/ancient economies are dependent on at least some people being poor. The overwhelming majority of poor people couldn't marry a rich person even if their life depended on it. Rich people, by definition, have lots of power & use their power/choice to marry other rich people. Most people primarily interact with those in the same socioeconomic status as they are in.

Why would a woman in a small village in some far away mountain or rural area care about resources when everyone in that small village have pretty much the same amount of wealth? Inequality has existed in every society (including communist ones). Even amongst subsistence farmers, there are definitely families that have bigger houses, way more animals, and more wives than others. And of course, the village chief shows off his wealth. The only society with almost full equality are hunter-gatherers.

It depends on the culture. In Europe, arranged marriages primarily only occurred amongst the nobility. Peasants generally married for love. In West Asia and South Asia, arranged marriage is the norm in both the past and present.

From a pure economic perspective, it might be better for a country to be 75% female and 25% male and to legalize polygamy. Men in the past were needed for hard labor jobs like farming and factory work. But that stuff is mostly automated nowadays and women can generally do that stuff just as well as men can nowadays. Women have earlier puberty ages, longer lifespans, and lower crime rates than men. This would lead to slightly more efficient workers who also last longer and are less likely to brea…

Interesting thought experiment, but it's unlikely to significantly reduce male sexlessness and would significantly increase female sexlessness. Even if you wanted to treat human interpersonal relationships purely as a financial market; the dating market has an inelastic demand. Greatly reducing the supply of males doesn't significantly increase the demand for low-quality males. There have been studies of human societies that suffered massive amounts of male death (generally due to war like in WW…

The issue with selecting someone for romance, jobs, etc. is that it's a relative comparison, not an absolute one. Men are literally heads and shoulders above their medieval and stone-age ancestors physically, mentally, financially, etc. but that doesn't matter for romance because women improved just as much & as the average goes up, people's standards go up. And if a nuclear war happened, the average would go down, but people would still desire the best partner they think they could reasonably g…

I don't agree with the OP, but the proportion of men & women who aren't straight are more or less equivalent, so the fact that some women wouldn't date men regardless of the male population isn't a huge deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 08:30 PM

Dissatisfaction with current romantic practices isn't some gene passed down from parent to child; nor is it even an idea indoctrinated into children. It is simply a reaction based on societal observations. As long as the same push & pull factors remain in a society, people looking for alternatives will always remain. It is the same reason why Atheism will never go away, even if they have very low birth rates. The disbelief isn't genetic or indoctrinated. As long as humans act rationally; many wi…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 10:42 PM

I never said it was cheap. I just said it was possible. You can in fact, reproduce, without a woman falling in love with you, mixing your genes, and having your children. Once artificial wombs are made, you wouldn't even need to involve surrogate mothers. We're reaching a point where you can live a full life without another person's consent or even involvement in the slightest. Which is absolutely splendid if you don't like people or people don't like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 08:27 PM

You can have your own genetic children right now without sex. Mix your sex cells with another person's sex cells and implant them into a surrogate mother. You could even choose the genes of the mother in your case. It is cheaper and easier if you're a woman choosing the sperm cells for your IVF baby. Of course, the hard & expensive part of children isn't creating them. It is raising them; especially if you're a single parent.

That's the whole point of my OP. In the future, men (or women) won't have to put in lots of effort to find a sex partner and still come up short. They can just use biodroids or VR instead. Why just throw your hands up and be upset when there are alternatives. Another major alternative (for rich Westerners) is sex tourism.

Men would rather sleep with robots and AI than with their looksmatch. Just about everyone except for the super-religious or Luddites would rather have a loving relationship with an extremely beautiful servant who would always love them as opposed to some average person with major issues. Why do you think people love their dogs so much? Because the dogs will always love them back as long as they are fed and walked. Sex is a beautiful and sacred act between two people and turning it into some commodity that can be bought and sold is strange to me. Maybe I’m old fashioned. Maybe I'm too much of a naturalist, but I don't believe in literally anything being sacred or that sex is reserved for someone special. Sexual Intercourse is ultimately an instinctual act that people and animals do for all sorts of reasons. A promiscuous woman isn't automatically less virtuous than a married couple in my view. On one hand, it will be a very long time before a robot can fully replace a human being. On the other hand, you don't really need a robot to replace a human being. You just need a robot or a biodroid or the VR simulation to look and feel like a sexy human being who is into you. For people who just want to get their rocks off or feel loved, this will be more than enough. Just research prostitution for this phenomenon. I remember reading a great post about Virgin Shaming on another subreddit. Essentially, a man achieving sex and/or a relationship isn't just about that human interaction. It is more about achieving milestones in life. In modern American culture, people are expected to drive at a certain age, graduate high school at a certain age, graduate college or a trade school at a certain age, be fully independent at a certain age, etc. One of those milestones is being competent at achieving and sustaining …

There is a massive difference between not wanting a Black employee vs not wanting a Black spouse. For one thing, dating is based on physical attraction, and African phenotypes are obviously different from European phenotypes, Asian phenotypes, etc. Unless you run a modeling agency or something similar, the phenotype of your employees shouldn't make a big difference. Also, the reason why Civil Rights Acts to equalize employment exist is because straight White men owned all of the valuable US busi…

You're joking, but your facetious argument is correct. People shouldn't be forced to become spouses to "good" people and parents for the benefit of the place they were born or live in. Anything else is borderline slavery. If people make terrible decisions for who they or who they not date, so be it. If you want a real solution to societal trends, turn to technology.

It really isn't, or used car salesman and marketing executives would have huge harems. Well, the great thing about romance is you don't have to appeal to everybody in most demographics. You only need to appeal to one person in your target demographic. It only takes two to tango after all. So, the fact that most women aren't interested in casual sex and don't hang out in bars is true, but irrelevant. That's biological determinism. I doubt anybody was born liking dad bods or goth chicks. There are many sociocultural reasons to why people are attracted to certain individuals. People's attractions also change as they age and a huge part of attraction is just selecting who's the best amongst your viable suitors.

Mainstream society doesn't teach people how to date well or to have sex well. At most, it only forbids or shames certain acts. Mainstream society just expected men and women to pair off and have kids and figure stuff out. Clearly, that doesn't work anymore. Fewer people are pairing off and having kids, and the politicians are running around like decapitated chickens wondering why. That's why "Just figure it out" is almost always a terrible answer.

There are many medications that legitimately lower sexual desires and impulses. Don't become an addict though. Also, if you want a wife or girlfriend just for companionship or help around the house or something else non-romantic, there is often a straightforward alternative to that (chiefly having a good circle of guy friends).

Most of these privileges are essentially benevolent sexism. Women are seen as less capable than men so society needs to protect women whereas men don't need protection. This is also Anglosphere-dependent. That said, I'd agree that a family having only daughters is better off than a family having only sons in modern USA. At the very least, the daughters are more likely to reproduce (as long as they aren't obese or a radfem).

The post and prose of the OP is so dense, that I had to decipher the message. Basically, women are upset that they're constantly bombarded with low-quality men who only want sex from them. Men are upset that few women are sexually interested, or even romantically interested in average dudes. The grass is greener on the other side and people envy each other. Also, men are to blame for this phenomenon. I doubt straight women actually envy low-quality men, at least not in this regard. Asexual women…

According to studies, other women are the main demographics that slut-shame, as opposed to men. Which makes sense because there being many sluts would benefit straight men and harm women who want to use sex to manipulate men. In real life (not Reddit), men love sluts for casual hookups, but would likely refuse to marry a known slut due to fears of infidelity and other issues. The men who are vocally opposed to sluts tend to either be religious and/or conservative and as such, would be opposed to…

Red pill (at least the descriptive of male/female heterosexual nature) applies beyond culture, class, and race. It really doesn't. The Red Pill was created because unfortunately, there's no official guide or even teachings anymore for men & women in the Anglosphere to couple and forge intimate relationships. So, a bunch of pick-up artists and armchair philosophers created a guide so that men can seduce and have hookups with young, naive women. But again, it's only useful to a certain demographic…

Yeah, as a bi man, reading most of these threads about how men must act or a man's worth is determined by how many White Stacies he can attract is hilarious (when it ain't pathetic). Most posts on here are premium r/AreTheStraightsOK material.

Animals definitely do that as well. Although it's not like laws or police apply in the wilderness. I'm just refuting the idea that homosexuality is unnatural. I'm not arguing that natural equals good.

Most of the "biotruths" here only really apply to modern straight, White, irreligious, middle-class, Americans between the ages of 16-35. There are probably more queers worldwide than that demographic.

Somebody better tell the animal kingdom that humans invented homosexual and non-reproductive sex. They've been experimenting longer than we have.

Are you implying that straight couples have higher SMVs participants than gay couples? Because I have seen some seriously mismatched and garbage tier straight couples.

I wouldn't call having only daughters eugenics. But I also have zero issues with prenatal care screening for and handling genetic abnormalities.

Money, status, charm, arranged marriage, luck. All sorts of ways. None of them common or reliable, however. At least not anymore. The best parents plan their child's future not just for the first few years of their life, but for their adult lives as well.

Gender Selection | Pacific Fertility Center Los Angeles This ain't new tech.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 10:06 PM

Gender Selection and IVF have been around since the late 1900s. If a couple wants a bunch of daughters, they don't have to leave it up to chance, just find the proper fertility clinic. I'm just drawing a conclusion based on observations. If women have it easier than men when it comes to dating, and a person wants to maximize their reproductive prospects, having only daughters makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 10:06 PM

first attraction is subjective. There are many aspects of attraction that are universal across many societies. Just do some spelunking around here to figure them out; or just peruse the subject on Google Scholar. Second that’s not how genetics works. The idea that attractive organisms are more likely to reproduce is literally the basis of Darwinian Sexual Selection. It's just that with women, the threshold to be considered attractive is a lot lower, even before makeup and plastic surgery is cons…

Sex Selection If you know you or your spouse have some physically unattractive features, but want to ensure that you'll still have grandkids. Have only daughters instead of sons. Even Blue Pill Women must admit that it is far easier for a woman to go out there and find a husband (or at least fuck buddy to knock her up) than it is for a man to do something similar. That and if nothing else, a woman can just get a sperm donor and be a single mother. Men obviously can't impregnate themselves. Becom…

if you want to enter a sexual relationship, generally, it will move much slower than anything you've ever seen or done, it will be a personal and romantic relationship first, and is unlikely to include a vast array of sexual acts, and that being pushy about that makes you a piece of shit. Or the men could just join a swingers group or any other casual sex environment where experimenting and fun is expected. That won't work for true intimacy, but it is a more honest and straightforward solution t…

Original Text: There have been a lot of discussions on both this subreddit and other forums about how modern men feel lost and lonely and have issues dating women. As a result, a lot of young men wind up joining toxic communities like Incels or MGTOW or Red Pill or other Manosphere stuff. A lot of previous attempts for non-traditional groups to deal with disaffected young men have apparently come across as tone-deaf or patronizing or even outright useless instead of helpful. Pundits like Andrew …

There is no they. Man and woman mean nothing beyond biology. When you or others talk about men and women, that is generalizing billions of people with little in common beyond their sex organs. Instead of prejudging people based on their gender, examine them and their culture, and later on account for their gender if it's relevant. There are good and bad people in any biological/ethnic category you can think of.

Despite the inflammatory title, I think this article and also this essay cover an important point. The fact that traditional male gender roles aren't around or appreciated anymore in 21st Century anglosphere discourse due to socioeconomic and political changes. There is very little a motivated woman can do nowadays that a man cannot, and said woman can also benefit from her sex in other ways, especially if she is attractive. With women no longer needing men as a breadwinner, and with physical st…

I doubt anybody (even hardcore lesbian feminists) think heterosexual attraction towards women is inherently problematic. The only people I know with an innate hatred of sexuality in general are antinatalists. A bigger issue is that feminists and progressives spend an inordinate amount of time on how straight male attraction can be problematic. A lot of pro-women spaces do nothing but talk about abusive relationships, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual objectification, etc. And while these…

I know right. LGBT advocates spent decades telling everyone your sexuality isn't a choice. Yet now, straight people are expected to go gay just for a fulfilling relationship. OT: American men should honestly just stop using online dating. The prospects are poor unless you're an already elite man who doesn't need it. Anglos should also leave the country and try geomaxxing or whatever they call it.

If you want easy sexual relationships with women, slut-shaming is counterproductive. Sluts are doing a valuable service for many young men. Just don't marry them. Don't also get caught up in this tit-for-tat spats about gender on this subreddit.

Would polyandry be my first choice as a man? Definitely not. Would it even be my 2nd choice as a man? Still no. But if I am really desperate for a romantic relationship, or my shared wife is a rich gigastacy who financially takes care of me, I would definitely consider it.

I don't disagree with any of those statements, (at least when it comes to heterosexual relationships) but I disagree with the suicidal fatalism in many blackpill communities. One of the number one redpill/PUA rules, long before you learn anything else, is to not put pussy on a pedestal. But that is literally wjat incels have done! They made attracting a woman to be the end-all be-all goal in life. So many men are upset since they weren't born Chad and will never fuck a Stacy, therefore, their li…
