I've seen the difference. I'll take more pixels over more frames every single time. More frames is only beneficial when gaming. More pixels is beneficial regardless of what you're using your computer for. I'm not disagreeing with you. There is a very strong cross media trend of portraying men as stupid and incompetent. Two of the comics I mentioned likely predate that trend because they have been in continuous publication since 1936 and 1948 respectively. The Phantom is probably the most dependable newspaper comic strip ever made given that it has been ongoing since 1936 and since then has only changed writers once when the creator, Lee Falk, died back in 1999.
