It is fully understood or should be that once you give a woman a certain lifestyle, any drop in lifestyle will cause her immense unhappiness. I make good money, but I know for a fact if I were to deal with unemployment and had to take a large pay cut to get back in the work force my wife would leave, zero doubt.

Women do not have your backs, they are not interested in supporting a man down on his luck, even if she's your wife. You go into any relationship or marriage with a woman with full knowledge of this.

The unfortunate truth is that women set standards based on a highwater-mark philosophy. They create a point of when their happiness/tingles/wetness is highest and that becomes the new standard. Which is why every relationship with a woman will ultimately end in ruin.
