Banned with no explanation. After weeks of messaging mods one said that I was banned for 'concern trolling' and cited a specific post. The post in question was about a comment that people on the board make a lot, that 'women have nothing to contribute to a relationship'. Which made me think, What do we have to contribute to a relationship as men? Perhaps money, but what else? It wasn't concern trolling it was a genuine question that wasn't just about everyone else, but about me as well. What do …

I'm not sure if this is true for the majority of states, but the one I was in (Delaware) the age of consent is 18, but 16 is allowed as long as the other person is under 29. She was 35.

Free speech is important for humans, don't purposely misconstrue things to make your self feel better. Calling me pro-molester on top of it? Im done with this one.

Again, you can find two people to agree on anything. Its okay, feminist can't take a joke either. It's your problem. Not ours.

Its not that you dont fins it funny, its that you insist the world. Hsnge to accomodate you.

Your entire thread is about How you can't take a joke. It does say a lot. Yes it is a personal opinion when its not a fact, part I flatly when you say "I think people should be shot if x" Just because other people agree doesnt mean its not a personal opinion. You can find two people who agree on anything.
/r/MensRights09/01/20 12:15 AM

Based on your personal opinion on what is the least harm, tbats catering to you. Instead of advocating for censorship, why not advocate for critical thinking? The world will never be perfect but ill take the freedom to tell a joke over 1984 any day. Particularly sincr your version wishes and washes but then maintains the initial point despite comtradicting yourself like that spongebob meme.

Because I cant be taken advantage of? Because thats always why they say that. Youre not giving them something that only benefits them, yup. If they are also so for you can swing it in other ways too. "I could change that expe tation if I wanted. But youre still ugly/fat/a slut
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:58 PM

And unless you're going to insist everyone in the world speaks a way that caters to you, the logical conclusion os that they will grow up, have a dialogue, and forge their own path.

Okay soit is harmful, but only when peoole are saying all boys like it, except this scenario even though you agreed previously. Got it.
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:50 PM

Thats not what you did. You soapboxed about something youlater admitted is innocuous and then instead of saying "good points, ill continue to think on it" you found a way to turn admitting to being wrong into a victim once you realized it contradicted your initia point. You are the mens rights equivalent of the women who complained about Peter griffin getting on too of an unconscious Connie in another episode.

Should it be his job to profusely explain that he enjoyed it any time it comes up or can he say it was a him and that it was a lot of pressure without you crying sexism?

we don't live in the cave-man era. So? Are you saying that any evolution that happened up until the cave man era is suddenly removed from our DNA? There are millions of behaviors within us that stem from our time in the wild. Socializing us doesn't get rid of them. what does this even have to do with the main topic? You can't make a point, and then say 'what does this have to do with the topic?' when I make a counter point. My point is that men are likely going to enjoy sex with an older partner…

All scientific sources say you're wrong. We have crazy differences from the moment we are born and thinking as,uaoity is the one exception because it benefits your argument is silly. Two genders would struggle if they had the same sexuality. Both need the other in different ways. Men are programmed to seed wherever they can because they can keep seeding, women are programmed to be sexually selective because they cant have nearly as many children as a man can, expe silly with women having a 50% c…
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:10 PM

And having differences within a gender doesn't mean we have the same baseline with the other gender. That is your logic that you just used.
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:04 PM

If we arent different at all sexually, then we have the exact same baseline that our personal dofferences stem from regardless of gender.

I didn't say it is okay, my point is not villainizing people who think that it would be fun or insisting they can't talk about it. Its part of the cultural dialogue in that way for a reason. Someone may not have their life ruined by smoking pot or drinking underage and may be perfectly mature enough to handle it. It doesn't mean we lower the age of consent on such things, but it doesnt mean everyone who thinks its good is a monster. I firmly believe that men and women are very different, particu…

You keep changing your mind. You also dont consider, What if the majority of men who got molested did enjoy it? We dont have a statistic on that. Boys who report it are more likely to not hE, but of course boys who did enjoy it wouldnt report, and a lot of the time it does only get out because the boy bragged.
/r/MensRights08/01/20 10:37 PM

Why is it okay for the boy who got molested to see it as a positive experience, but not the guy who heard about it?
/r/MensRights08/01/20 10:21 PM
1

Sorry she was 35 not fifteen lol. I also fooled around with a with a 20 year old when I was 12 or 13. No penetration but it was definutely. How can you say someone deserves to be shot tho if they agree with the guy who was "molested"? One should be put to death just because he didnt experience it before believing hed enjoy it?
/r/MensRights08/01/20 10:17 PM
3

> I feel like anyone who says that should be shot. Even the guy who enjoyed it? when I was sixteen I slept with a woman who was 35 or so. Zero regrets, had a great time. that doesn't mean she was right for doing it, but telling people how to feel about what happened to them is kinda fucked up.

If I'm not mistaken, I read once that the gay male divorce rate is the lowest, but only if you remove couples who got divorced before the 4 year mark (from all categories).

I love these because feminists, sjws and the like will say 'WELL GOOD, YOU GET TO SUFFER BECUASE WE ALL SUFFER BECUASE OF OUR RACE/GENDER/WHATEVER' So it seems they WANT white people to keep being racist. The goal is to make everyone an asshole.

I am very happy to just keep us to separate times, even if that means less time together. We were supposed to meet for our cigar lounge chess match earlier in the day and afterwards he was going to meet his girlfriend, but he had convinced me to join them. There are ivnestment companies. You give them your money and they invest it for you in various stocks. They hire people whose jobs it is to know the stock market, went to school for this sort of thing etc.
/r/MGTOW203/01/20 09:04 PM

A slightly less risky way is to go with some sort of investment company. their job is to find investments for you. They take a cut so want it to do well obviously.

Stocks are just gambling really. No matter what you do you don't know what is going to happen next. You just can't. There are good guesses but everyone either pulls out too early or invests to late. You win some, you lose some, but you can't maximize potential because you just don't know what will happen. Stocks used to be about actually investing, it was about finding a company with an idea you believed in, one you thought would grow, and putting your money in for that reason. Now people treat …

Someone had posted the very platitude driven kind of 'it gets better', and I argued against it. So I got banned. This man was saying that people who missed their kids the wives had stolen could solve it just by going shopping at the mall on Christmas. I wasn't even rude. For many men it doesn't get better, particularly if the child died instead of just being taken away.

It's crazy, i went my own way in 2013. I broke up with a girl and just thought "I should take a break from dating". I thought it would be a break, but I just never looked back.

This meme format has been used by both the left and the right. Including a politician in a meme, particularly one as notable as the president, is not propaganda, much less ALT-right propaganda. We did the same thing when Obama was president, making memes that neither supported nor offended him. People who are voting for Trump are not posting 'propaganda' by being open about their support for Trump. I also don't see anything racist. You could argue sexism, but if you think that is sexist I think …

Mostly because it makes women be dependent on men, and as much as you may want to argue that isn't an issue, humans really aren't designed to be together for their entire lives in that way. When a man got a divorce back in the day he could just continue living his life but without his wife. A woman, with no job or job history, didn't really have any options. Obviously there are issues on both sides but when it comes to 'staying at home' it really is a bit more unfair to women imho.

These days it feels like a lot of people are putting on personas instead of being real people. It is easy to see with the extremes, like guys who try way too hard to be 'classy', but aren't we all acting to some degree? I remember there was a time before every girl said 'I'm not A bitch, I'm THE bitch, the queen bitch!' and before men said 'I'm an asshole, but at least I admit it lol'. These were things we saw once in a movie as kids and it was funny, so people started saying it in real life. I …

I'm not really in pain myself, honestly. I'm not stoked about the holiday, but it is more that my best friend's birthday was the same day, and he died last year, unfortunately. I have just seen too many good men not get better to think that 'the loneliness goes away' is some rule. I want to believe all men can achieve happiness, I really do. And I do think a lot of men can. Invest in other types of relationships. "Friendship" is a start, but people tend to look at it in simplistic ways. 'Friendship' can cover a wide variety of dynamics, and nurturing different types of relationships can make you feel so rich with love that you don't even miss women. Humans are social creatures, we need some form of affection and interaction, but it doesn't have to come from romance, or even women at all.

You'll get mixed answers. If you find that most of your threads / replies are about the fact that you are a woman (Like saying 'as a woman,' or 'as a feminist,' in your posts), then you aren't posting here for the right reasons. You are posting for yourself, not for mens rights. As a general rule, and this applies to ANY website, any forum, any topic, if you are able to post about the actual subject and people are able to either agree or have a healthy disagreement with you, then you are welcome…

They are often open about having a double standard. Men need to be held to a higher / different standard becuase historically women are oppressed, so it is time for men to suffer to make life better for women. There is no indication that this will ever end and some say it will never end, as if suggesting we make men second class citizens for the rest of our time on this planet is somehow fair.

What? They already lost me when they started talking about Bojack. Sarah's death didn't make him get sober at all. He didn't get sober until the end of season 5, and it was because while drugged on set he went too far with a scene and was choking his costar.

It's hard not to sympathize with the guy. I know he could be doing something sketchy but I had a similar situation happen before. I was walking down the street and walked past a woman. Honestly I am disappointed. Let places cater to different genders. We already have laws allowing that in housing, why not this? They want womens only spaces, we want mens only spaces. Obviously they shoot themselves in the foot by going to mens only spaces and then saying 'MEN DONT NEED IT CUZ OPPRESSION', but this is just going to end up making it harder for mens spaces.

settle for two? Most pasta are easy, you just boil the noodles in a separate tiny pot, so its not a big mess either. Throw some flash frozen chicken in a skillet and then throw on alfredo sauce when its done. Then mix in with noodles. OR, flash frozen beef patties in to the skillet, spaghetti sauce when done, and then of course noodles in the tiny pot again.

I'm a bit torn on this. I'm a nudist, I think we need more lax nudity laws, I think when you go to someones home, thats just something that can happen. I understand the issues here go beyond just nudity though, it extends to privacy what with being recorded, and there is of course the issue that if the roles were reversed this would be a huge feminist issue.

We are biologically and culturally programmed to be with women. It is our nature. You can't just turn your back on your nature with ease. In many ways it is similar to dealing with an addiction. You wouldn't go to alcoholics anonymous and be like 'Wow, you guys sure talk a lot about alcohol for people who claim to want to be sober! Why can't we do non-alcohol related discussion?' this is essentially a place for men to vent their frustrations, because there isn't some other place outside of here …

MGTOW is reactionary. In a world built around how we relate to women, a movement that is about avoiding women is going to have to talk about them a lot. It is in our nature to pursue them, so in many ways, it is like an addiction, and you wouldn't really go to an AA meeting and say 'gee, for people who don't drink you sure do talk a lot about alcohol'. Sometimes, because you have a dream, you are willing to take an objective loss in order to get as much of your subjective benefit as possible. For men who wish to have kids and be in their life for as long as possible, marriage is that for them. You know you will get divorced, and end up having your life ruined, but it is a better alternative to getting a random girl pregnant if you really want to raise your kids for whatever time you can get away with it before she takes them.

It is most definitely a mens issue, it's also a women's issue and of course and trans issue. And I agree wtih JK Rowling. This isn't exactly surprising from her as she has been under fire for her 'lack' of 'trans acceptance' before, but she is brave to be standing her ground. And it's not just vacation. Eating out with friends means you either get more food, higher quality food, or half the price at the same place you'd take a girl. My friend never had a good steak before in his life until I took him to a nice restaurant for us to blow a bonus on. 80 dollar steaks. research whether or not your state is a two party consent state. If it is not, then you can legally record the next time they call and threaten. If not, my advice is to just go to the police tomorrow and file a police report against them for the threats of violence. They won't do anything with it, but it will be there in case they do. DONT IGNORE THIS. People never want to take the time to go file a police report when it could come in handy later.

I mean even if you marry there's still a 50% chance she dies first, so it's a stupid principle to live by anyway. I never liked the 'I don't want to die alone' schtick. Live a good life regardless of dating and you'll face the end better than if you were in a stupid marriage.

We can't say. We don't know the context of your relationship / the history. This is a very harsh thing to say to someone. There is an appropriate place for it. It doesn't really matter what she said next about her mom, but it does matter what was said before, throughout the entire friendship. While many would say its great you put her in your place, i think it is a bit unfair to throw that at someone that you, until recently, let believe you were friends.

When asked she admitted that men just show up, do the job, and get paid. Women tend to do GREAT for two weeks, then this game starts where the boss is expected to cater to the employee. It isn't even a matter of one or the other. It's natural to want to hear more to understand the situation. You have reduced it to us being disrespectful for wanting to know what happened. I don't know who Jessica is or what the drama is, fuck off.

I don't know who this 'she' is. People here in the comments were questioning how it was possible with no reference to drugging or what have you in the opening post.

Acknowledging that you don't understand what happened is not denying him basic human respect. All I said was "I don't really get it either". Insisting it is disrespectful not to question a story is insisting that we 'believe all victims'. > If he isn't obligated to share the details, then why has she been pursuing the details so aggressively? I have no idea what you are talking about or what it has to do with my post.

Does he have to? Yes. If people want others to believe them they have to explain how something is even possible to begin with. This is the literal same standard we've been applying to women with all the false rape accusations that have been popping up over the years. Not understanding the circumstances of this man's case doesn't mean we suddenly don't believe female rapists exist. Do you realise how intrusive and unfair that is? It is not intrusive or unfair to expect someone sharing their story…

Fair enough. Like I said, practicing behavior can help you perfect behavior. Sometimes you may feel like it is an over compensation, like with emoticons. A lot of guys do tend to use them, but it is generally when talking to girls they have an interest in so that they can match their tone. Beyond that it tends to be very 'ironic', like they're being sarcastic and including an emoticon with it. Even with that said if you want to avoid the question, avoiding emoticons helps.

I spend about 300 a month. I can spend a lot less, but I don't. I live in Los Angeles, in the heart of Hollywood, but it isn't as expensive than you might think, even while shopping at trader joes. Pasta is a large part of my diet, but it definitely isn't entirely so. I also spend about 300 additionally on eating out though. I am a big foodie and eat out multiple times a week.

What's sad is that there was a point where men would have kept trying but now it is considered harassment to do anything upon an initial rejection, even if it is just implied. A lot of men don't even mind the 'hard to get' schtick, but we live in a time where half the women want it and the other half claim it is rape to keep trying.

I think if you re-read you'll find that my point was that trans people try to pass. As for advice, are you positive you are trans? I'm no expert, but if you are actively living as a female and have no naturally male behaviors and can't even pass based on the way you speak (not even talking the voice, but the way you talk) then what exactly makes you think you are male? In this case you're blaming having lived with women, but the whole premise of being trans is that even though you are born a wom…

I still have some feminine mannerisms (which I hate but what can you do). Take people's advice on what makes you easily clocked. The fuck do you think the purpose of being trans is? To live your life as a man, and have others accept you as such. Anyone who cares zero % about whether or not they pass is likely not really trans. That kind of mindset is more gender non binary, or some specific subset of one of the other new genders. The point is that if you are living your life as a man to the degr…

You can't hold yourself responsible for someone else. That isn't a relationship, that is a hostage situation. The best you can do is set a limit, inform her of that limit, and then live up to it. Say you want to move out, get on with your own life, but you want to make sure she is taken care of. You plan to move out in three months. She has three months to get a job and start supporting herself / make other arrangements.

What does your actual body look like though. Any changes? Weight is kind of a silly measurement, particularly if you're lifting because you will actually put on some muscle while losing fat, which means your weight wont change that much even if your body does. People aren't homogenous. Priorities are important. People have built lives with women and stayed together until they died. They weren't perfect, they weren't magical or lovey dovey, but they made it 'work'. Many will report long periods of time of frustration and sadness, but eventually they work through things or sorta move on. I imagine there isn't one. If you think about evolution, women who were programmed to enjoy sex with a man after 3 months are basically programmed to enjoy men who can't actually get them pregnant. And even then it is hard to say if humans are designed to have sex again after pregnancy. We are so far removed from nature some things are a bit of a mystery.

It's hardly immediately measurable. But examples of the sacrifices you make for relationships personally would be an interesting start. The fact that each one is different though kinda defeats the purpose. You don't go into a relationship 'bringing' sacrifice per se.

Love, companionship, loyalty, lifelong commitment, and sacrifice. Those are vague and intangible things though, and the same things a woman says she would bring. If you don't believe she really brings love or companionship then you wouldn't be offering your own, right?
/r/MGTOW10/12/19 09:29 PM
-1

Well, that is actually a good point. While a woman may go her entire life without actually needing that security, that is something men as a whole generally can offer that women can't offer men. In many ways what they are trading sex for is the promise to be a shield if something bad happens, even if fatal.
/r/MGTOW10/12/19 09:28 PM
-1

but realistically when you did or if you returned, what can you say you offer to them?
/r/MGTOW10/12/19 09:26 PM

How? That is a vague and intangible quality that everyone thinks of themselves. A woman can just as easily say that and you'd laugh it off whether you know her or not. You can't really list vague things that are mutually brought to the table in a relationship like 'personality' or 'companionship'. So someone is only an attacker if there is permanent damage? It doesn't matter if you are going to kill or maim. If you are attacking someone your safety is no longer important to the other person. I'm not teaching my kids to hold back just because you refuse to teach your daughter not to hit boys.

It is not the victims job to make sure their attacker is safe. If you hit someone unprovoked, you shouls be prepared to die. As far as children go you cant expect to teach a child restraint against their attacker if you cant even teach a kid enough restraint not to attack.

I'm struggling to understand the relevance here. OPs point was clear: defending yourself is okay. Whether or not it is in anger is besides the point, someone is hitting you, make them stop.

"Focus on figuring out". This is the big reason that you see more men in big and important jobs. Women have the luxury of finding a man to take care of things while they 'figure it out'. Men don't 'figure things out' over the course of years and a lifetime. They make a decision, they commit, and they put in the work until they get results.

I think it depends on your definition of friends. In America we have a pretty particular definition of it being someone you can do all of your casual things with but that isn't the case elsewhere. Put it this way, you can have a bond with a child even if they aren't yours, right? They may not be your son, but calling them your 'friend' may be weird too. Same goes for someone significantly older. You may feel more comfortable using the term 'friend', but it isn't quite the same thing as being fri…

People don't realize that divorce can be a truly traumatizing event. It's not even stress free for women, like they're constantly complaining about how terrible and difficult the divorce is and often seek therapy, but it is generally far worse for the man considering he loses his wife, his house, his kids, his future earnings etc. How could that not be traumatizing?

You'll notice the difference fast. Girls who never talked to you suddenly do. That's all you need to know. Keep at it though and be whatever person you want to be. This is MGTOW, not 'find a woman who really loves you for who you are'. Make yourself a promise to hold the same standards you held before. The truth isn't even sexist here I think. when an ugly woman is good at something we tend to hold her to a standard similar to a male. We just look for reasons to enjoy the company of attractive people. They do the same thing with men honestly, they tend to laugh at any joke a hot guy says or call him smart or deep for basic stuff.

There was a time until very recently where being in a relationship was the default, and being single was just something that had to happen between relationships. It is less common now that the whole 'friends with benefits' situation has become increasingly popular, but a lot of men are still in that mindset from before, particularly men with low sexual value as the only way to get consistently laid is to be in that relationship.

Side effects include having to actually deal with women, but honestly any more than one per day and you'll just end up dating them. A woman's company isn't about the things you want to talk about per se. There is something nice about interacting with someone so different, someone on the opposite side of the gender spectrum from you. BUT, that isn't for everyone, and its definitely not for every time. It's fine if you don't want to do that. Just go on man dates. About once a month me and a buddy go out and blow 80 bucks each on the best steaks you'll ever have and we just talk about all the nonsense we enjoy like pseudo scien…

My anime taste tends to be more obscure or old school over all. I like the idea of long running series like Naruto but find that they just stretch stories out too long for me to really enjoy. I'm not interested in something like Goblin Slayer honestly. I prefer things like Binan chikyou bouibu love, or FLCL, or Gakou Gurashi, or what have you.

That is just how men and women are viewed now, sadly. No matter what evidence you show them that the patriarchy doesn't exist they will just insist that you are such a loser that you don't know how to take advantage of your privileges, and if they're in the same spot its just because they don't have those advantages.

I'm so tired of it all. I actively enjoy female lead shows and such but the SJW bullshit pushed in is nauseating. The sad thing is it actively reduces the minorities to their minority status instead of treating them like a fleshed out person. Buffy was a work of art. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is 20 hours of hating on men after women make the dumbest decisions over and over and over again I've been writing my own show but its hard enough to get things produced as is, let alone if it is d…

It's not like people 'want' to bother with what other people think, but it isn't even just an issue of strangers, you can't just live entirely independently and never feel sad about people laughing at you. And frankly, you shouldn't if you could. Social norms can have many issues but without enforcing them you end up with embarrassing failures of society, like landwhale feminists with beards who think they're still super hot because fuck what society thinks.

I'm not even the one insulting her, just letting her know that other men will, just like in every thread a woman starts talking about how she is a woman and this is what she thinks men need or deserve. Again, if she wants to help she is welcome even by those who would insult her here. Parroting things here doesn't help, it just turns the attention back to women.

Were not actually disagreeing per se, I'm a nudist and think that public nudity shouldn't even be illegal. Okay. Ehhh, I mean women are typically the ones who create things like photo albums to remember everything of their children / grand children, keep special boxes with all of their things etc. I suppose a male is more likely to do this specific thing, but thats because men tend to think in words and women tend to think in feelings,

Whether you truly mean well or not, I don't recommend that you post here. If you are going to post here, I'd recommend at least not opening with 'as a woman'. The whole point of this board is that you don't hold womens opinions on mens issues in high regard, particularly when it comes to defining a man and his actions. People really seem to like to reference the first half of the movie as if it is the point of the movie. The point of the movie tends to be the end. Storytelling works in that it sets up a premise, it fights against that premise, and then in the last act you get the true 'answer'. Most of the things talked about in the movie at the beginning are meant to be proven wrong, the movie even ends with the main character letting go of that aspect of himself that claimed we don't need another woman in or…

Well, from your example in your first post, this conversation is using "feminine" and "masculine" to describe behaviors. Even if we weren't though, even if we were talking about physical traits like genitals, your argument still isn't valid. A vagina isn't more feminine than a penis is masculine just because they can hold one baby at a time.

It is already legal for people to be 'professional cuddlers', so if it is not about the sexual satisfaction why should we legalize the sexual version? Furthermore, why not just adjust the culture to allow male contact? Your post opens about how women can be physically affectionate with each other, but then your solution is somehow prostitution instead of men doing the same thing.

What is sad is that it wasn't even considered gay to be physically close with other men until recently. The less 'western' a society is the more they tend to embrace simple physical contact among friends, and it was never a case of 'no women so we'll make do'. It was just considered normal to want to be close to your friends. It is sad when things that simple are considered gay, but it gets a bit better after highschool. A simple hug, pats on the shoulder and such are fine, but beyond that there is still a lot of discomfort. My best friend died last year and I just wanted to feel physically close to someone, and I had to really just beg my friends to put an arm around me while I cried. It felt so pathetic. It is definitely on the comedy side, but it does have its serious moments. The intention of the writers was to talk more about male isolation and male relationships. Each episode features a character of the week who is at the bottom of their barrel for one reason or another or a unique male dynamic that has an issue (twin brothers who are starting to look different as they get older, power imbalances in friendships, etc). The first season hints at something more serious in its finale but ultimat…

Same. I'm hoping laws change so it becomes easier for men to adopt as I get older. I've considered surrogacy but as stupid as it may sound, I don't like the 50% chance that I'll get a daughter.

A big part of being MGTOW is realizing that life is not all about women, but in your post all you did was reduce life to relationships with them. There are a million things to do on this planet, most of which can only be done if you live a free lifestyle. Life is its own reason for living. Looking for a reason to live is a reason for living. But you don't need a reason other than enjoying what this world has to offer. There are so many books to read, and places to be, and sights to see, and food…

They say 'abs aren't made in the gym, they are made in the kitchen.' The point being that unless you do an obscene amount of cardio exercise you aren't going to lose much weight. If you want to lose weight you need to experiment with diets that work for you. Diets don't have to be 'keto' or 'paleo' though, they can be normal food but at a reduced rate. For a lot of fat people simply cutting certain things out helps. Try, for instance, removing all drinks other than water. That tends to make a lo…

A comedian did a great bit about it. Guys aren't really allowed to like a girl for being better than them at anything because girls won't date him, they don't want to feel like they are dating down. All that is really left is all men really care about anyway, looks and whether or not we get along.

The more ingrained in your life they were, the more you tend to miss them, even if you didn't like them. your mind is going to be constantly reminded by their absence. If you start changing smaller things surrounding you though you start creating a 'new norm' without them, one that your brain doesn't insist requires them. IF you get a girl who is clearly beneath you in most ways, she might continue to see you as a king or at least respect you. Different cultures / lifestyles have different ideas of what being a man is. All it really means is that you adhere to three rules: 1) Don't marry a woman 2) Don't cohabitate with a woman 3) Don't put women on a pedestal That is it. There is nothing wrong with loving men. Protip, don't try to demean others by calling them homosexual if there's nothing wrong with it. It just shows what you really are, refer to my first comment for a refresher. And don't pretend that wasn't what you were doing, no one is dumb enough to fall for your shit. You have had dates with girls who expect the world? Nope. Just interactions with bitches like yourself who try to find any excuse to put men down. Unlike you I actually do have important thi…

I didn't realize you were homophobic as well. I love how, once again, you attempt an insult by equating not worshiping you / pussy as some sort of flaw, even gay. The sad irony of this is this is exactly what my initial comment was about, how women just want to find any little nit to pick at and then try to be the boss. But you're not the boss. "most people" would see this for what it is, a bitchy feminist doing what she does best, acting like a bitchy feminist.

Oh here we are 'oh you don't respect me that means you can't get a woman!' Again, your idea of what I am means nothing. You don't decide if I'm a boy, a man, or a piece of trash. Because you're just a woman. That isn't an authority figure. Your vagina has no magical powers.
/r/MensRights21/11/19 08:40 PM

Again, no one cares, particularly me. Your ideas and definitions of what a man should be are not valid to anyone, much less on this board. Realize that no one here falls for the "if you don't respect me or even disagree with me then you're not a real man' shtick. I'm not your kid. I'll talk back all I want. You've done nothing to earn anyone's respects, much less a mans.

Netflix is mostly popular with women, so its garnered a reputation for being very social justicey. Yeah the chilling adventures of Sabrina was a total shit show. The transgender issue was also handled extremely terribly. She refuses to say who abused her, refuses to go to the police, for no reason, then they say its the principals fault for letting the boys get away with it, when she literally wouldn't even tell her own friends who did it, let alone an authority figure. Somehow that is mens faul…

The older I get, the more I realize that women actually don't care. The reason they act angry is that they want to feel like they are the boss. They complain all day about how men act like they're the boss, how they're in control, but all they care about is having something that makes what they say go, that they can tell people what to do. They don't want an apology, they don't want a conversation, they just want to feel like they're the leader and it's our job to listen.

I have a script that is very MGTOW but I'm starting to think I would never be able to make it even if I made it in the industry. It's unfortunate because it is not even sexist or about women, but that is part of the problem I suppose. It has only one female as a recurring character and all the focuses are on men. Even that is considered untouchable these days. Feminist entertainment used to be fun. Buffy is one of my favorite shows. I thought the chilling adventures of sabrina would be the spiri…

Definitely not. I mean there are certainly SOME racist MGTOWs, but that isn't the impression I had of the movement as a whole. I grew up in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Guam, Okinawa, didn't start dating white women until my mid twenties. Race was just never an issue for me, and it doesn't seem to be one for the majority of the users. The guy second from the right was actually born in Nigeria and considers himself to be MGTOW, though he isn't an active part of any of it's communities.

Yeah, the girls at my work aren't very happy about it. Sometimes we have what we call a 'sausage shift' where no women happened to be scheduled at that time, and it's a rowdy and fun time. The conversation goes from sex to art, to philosophy, and back again. One time we had a dance battle. One of the girls found out and has been trying to get one set up but it hasn't been happening. It is a private magicians club in Hollywood. It is invite only, and rather expensive, but it is a really great night. It is in an old mansion that has been turned into a bit of a club with several small stages for magicians to perform on. The reservations, even with it being invite only, are really tight this time of year. I have no interest in the rebooted comics. What can they really do that hasn't been done already? As for the 5 season outline, there is no version of it floating around, Joss just talked about how after the first few episodes of season 1 he realized that the whole shifting the identity each week thing wouldn't carry the show so he took a mini hiatus to sit down and outline exactly where the show would go across five seasons, all of the characters and their arcs. When season 2 came it was clear t…

The later seasons are smaller at the very least. I enjoyed season 8, but its very different. It is a distant sequel for sure. Season 9 tries to go back to basics but honestly it just didn't hit the notes. The abortion subplot, Joss backtracking on it in interviews, the gay male slayer, none of it really worked. Finale was fun, but it is kind of the 'season 4' of the comics. It had nothing particularly deep, meaningful, or interesting and just serves to continue the show. I haven't bothered with …

It took me longer than a lot of people but I finally reached the fatigue point with all of it. I'm avoiding anything franchised at this point. I think the only exception I have planned is the next spider verse movie. NGL the first one was too much fun.

Beyond that, you also just have to not be reduced to your gender. The irony of 'feminist' media is that it tends to define their ladies by their genitals, and insist everything in their life revolves around that. Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn't do that. They referenced how her gender factors into her life but she was largely dealing with very universal issues, growing up, high school, college, becoming a parent, grieving her own parents, etc. No season was about feminism or the evils of men. The…

Yeah kinda misses the point then. I just want to see what it would be like to have a real mens only society, especially without a next generation, but if they wrote some bullshit about how they could create more men i wouldn't mind.

Poor man. Jesus, you would think military housing is safe from being kicked out of, but if I recall there is actually a lot of rules that make the man forced to vacate if the woman makes any kind of complaint about abuse or harassment.

This is so stupid. The movie has only 40 million dollars for its budget, so it doesn't take a lot to get it profitable. GIRLS TRIP made 140 million dollars, and virtually none of that came from men. The original charlies angels movies from drew barrymore cost 90 million to produce and made 240 million at the box office. No, if this fails it is because it is a bad movie.

Yes, I've seen a few of those, though not the one where they swapped a man over ot the lady island. I'm more talking about fictional stories where an entire population of women vanishes or dies, not just a few weeks on an island.

The Red pill means a lot of things. As I am sure you know, the idea comes from the Matrix. A red pill would wake you up, make you see that reality is a lie and learn the truth. A Blue pill lets you go back to believing everything is fine just the way it is, even if society as a whole is a lie. So the red pill is becoming an increasingly popular label for any idea of 'truth' that goes against the mainstream narrative. It is often associated with right leaning politics these days because it is con…

The top female chess player came out and talked about this. The way she explained it was that there were only like 3 females in the top 800 chess players worldwide. She said that she believes part of it is that women aren't physically able to handle it, as these more professional chess games tend to take 8 or more hours of sitting there and calculating every possible outcome many many moves ahead, which is a bit sad considering its just 8 hours of sitting and mental strain. There aren't legal barriers there like adoption has. The problem is that as a single dad you'll have a hard time taking care of the kid at first. You work all day, so you're basically getting an infant and immediately hiring someone else to take care of them so you can see them in the evening hours. Adoption may be a better idea, particularly if through the foster care system, though I hear it is hard if not impossible for a single man to do this. Why? Women have proven that if they want to see a movie, they alone will make it profitable. They are 50% of the population (more actually, but just by a bit). Girls trip was your typical chick flick, and starred an entirely black cast at that. That should have been a recipe for disaster, what straight white male goes to see a movie about four black women on vacation? I understand women and men have different sex drives, I understand a woman's need tends to tie a few years in, and I understand that she is not obligated to have sex. But I really hate this assumption that a man is wrong or greedy for wanting to have sex with his wife. A woman doesn't have to put out but that doesn't make a man greedy, or wrong, or bad.

I am currently reading Don Juan, a long-form poem written by Lord Byron, who died almost 200 years ago. The accounts of the main character are based loosely on his own life, and beyond that, they are based around the time. In it, he describes how women with fans (the handheld ones that you notice in movies about the victorian age that women use to keep themselves cool in those big dresses) are abusive to their husbands, using them as weapons when the men don't do what they want. He also describe…

I can't say I am self employed. I make YouTube videos for someone elses channel. I can't quite say they employ me either. But if you marry, and if when you divorce if you try to get alimony after him I hope you think back to this one particular moment and know that whatever mental gymnastics you do in your head to convince yourself you deserve alimony doesn't change the fact that you're doing a garbage thing.

I think womens clubs and such are a fun and cute idea. I think mens clubs are a fun and interesting idea. IDK for me its like TV. I like an all female show, and I like an all male show. Both are great.
/r/MensRights06/11/19 05:25 PM
1

No, there were legitimate spaces for men that didn’t cater to sexual needs.
/r/MensRights06/11/19 04:17 PM
1

why bother telling them? Unless the plan is to have sex without a condom on just don't worry their pretty little heads about it. As for adoption, pretty much impossible for a straight man. Foster situation might be easier, but still very difficult for a straight man I can imagine. Especially since you can't afford a vasectomy, you can't really afford a kid. Obviously things can change, but yeah. Also, consider storing some sperm at a bank in case you change your mind and want your own kid.
/r/MGTOW06/11/19 04:01 PM
1

But those didn't just cater to men because men didn't want women around You're wrong. They had literal clubs and lounges that were designed to be a space to get away from women.
/r/MensRights06/11/19 03:52 PM
1

MGTOW is about going your own way, not our way. My personal belief is that if you want to give it a try, you should give it a try. Just be observant of yourself, pay close attention to patterns that may emerge. You may find it is helpful in staying away from women by giving yourself this treat. You may find you're losing even more money by having the guarantee of sex via payment. Find out what is right for you.
/r/MGTOW06/11/19 03:47 PM
1

Well you're not entirely correct. Until recently there were male only bars, clubs, events, things like the YMCA that had no functional purpose being male only other than to cater to males. It wasn't to hate on women like you suggest is the only reason other then efficiency, it was just considered normal to have places where men could go to take a break from women and be among other men.

I get really tired of women ever weighing in on what a man is. Don't get me wrong, men can use it manipulatively too, but there is at least a good chance that they're just talking about abstract philosophical ideas that are meant to inspire men as a whole, not to shame the ones who don't follow their dogma to a T. "A real man will raise someone elses child" Go fix your own mistakes.
/r/MGTOW06/11/19 03:08 PM

>as a female Why does this part of the story seem entirely irrelevant.
/r/MensRights06/11/19 02:59 PM

Right, but this isn't asking about logistics, I am asking what people actually want. There are a few interesting answers but it seems that a lot of men don't really want mens spaces they're just mad that they're being taken away anyway.

I think to be a vie it has to be done to excess, or at least to an unhealthy degree. The actual definition is 'immoral or wicked behavior', but in the context of the way people use it there has to be negative consequences. Like having dessert isn't a vice if you aren't really unhealthy. You're doing it in the proper moderation. That being said, my vice is probably pornography. While it doesn't stop me from getting laid, going on dates, or being productive (if anything it helps keep me productive…

Yeah, when my father tried to get my nephew to stop crying by saying 'you're not a girl are you? only girls cry', I had to run in and put a stop to that. That doesn't make a 5 year old want to stop crying, that just makes him feel like a failure.

I have a habit of being very open about certain issues I have. It attracts people who like to deconstruct others. I was in a bit of a sad friendship where someone took a big interest in me and exploring my life and all of that jazz, but i didn't realize that he wouldn't share anything in return. Most of my friends essentially believe that all of their friends should feel comfortable opening up to them, but refuse to open up themselves. I love a good cigar. I already do this as often as I can, though it is to the disdain of my friends generally. That being said, I didn't ask for advice on what to do for myself, I'm trying to gauge other peoples interests and why the space might be important for them in a public setting. We keep talking about how mens spaces are disappearing, but what mens spaces do men here actually want? Private mens spaces aren't going away after all.

It seems like men don't want private men's clubs. They seem to be uninterested of going anywhere without chicks. I had guys get disappointed that 'magic castle' wasn't going to have copious single women for them to flirt with.
/r/MGTOW06/11/19 01:02 AM
2

Yeah, and I don't blame them. Women are seen as strong for surviving that sort of thing. There was a time when women were considered ruined by it, but now it is practically an achievement. Men on the other hand are treated as if they were ruined, and there is this weird cultural subtext that implies they might be gay for it. What a sad world.

/r/MensRights06/11/19 12:14 AM

Of all the fun things to do without a woman, that certainly is the most interesting. Though I more meant something 'official'. Women aren't claiming discrimination over private outings with friends.
/r/MGTOW05/11/19 11:48 PM

were those really a thing? Interestingly specific. I feel like you could just go golfing and never interact with a woman, just see them in the distance, with ease.
/r/MGTOW05/11/19 11:47 PM

MGTOW has women post all the time, though I very obviously am referring more to physical spaces, I think I even mention that in my post. Obviously you can make a male only space by not accommodating women, but that doesn't answer the questions...
/r/MGTOW05/11/19 11:46 PM
1

when you look at the male rape statistics they are actually really high, but the majority of men are raped by other men, usually at a very young age, or it is prison rape. Don't get me wrong women can be plenty deviant but were not under reporting sex with woman to such a huge degree.
/r/MensRights05/11/19 11:35 PM

Then it is still our fault because its men doing the raping (which is true).

Everyone has break ups. Honestly there is no real way to stop the pain. You just get to the end of it all and realize life keeps going. If you build your life around a girl it is going to feel empty when she leaves. If you build your life around yourself than a girl is only a visitor.

Not Scandanavian, I just remember listening to a radioplay called 'Afterlives' about a group of dead people trying to find their respective heavens, and there was a viking who was supposed to go to Valhalla after dying a noble death, and I just liked that idea, this sort of afterlife just for men. As for the friend, we don't talk much these days. Trying to keep him in my life is like pulling teeth and I gave up recently. Thats beautiful man. It is amazing to see all these different skills everyone is learning. Perhaps we could create something in the vein of a 'skill trade' thread, where everyone posts what kind of skills they have and products they could produce, and other users could purchase items with money, or trade items / skills that they have in return. That way people can continue practicing their skills while getting things they want / need.

Mornings are lazy. A lot of people prefer to just skip their lunch break to work out, or to work out at the end of the day because mornings are too slow for them. I’m usually the person who prefers the movie over the book, so that should tell you how bad the movie actually is. The writer would not have found any success unless he was an actual genius. Anime does this really interesting thing where the friendships are actually relevant to the characters arcs and journeys. In American TV and movies, male friendships are just a way to connect unrelated plotlines to one another. Sometimes they'll have conflict but it is often superficial. This suggests that everyone would get involved, we know that not to be the case. We won't even get a whole nation to do this, let alone the entire world. This is just a small counter culture movement growing within our own culture. Dont go to NYC. even sharing a room with several strangers is expensive as hell. Stay in town, get a place you can afford, and learn the art of frugal living. When you have some real world experience under your belt, and a pocket full of money, you can make a move to somewhere more prominent.

There are places you can go to hang with elephants all day. Not sure where but my friend did that while in thailand. You can just go there and make friends with elephants, actually interact with them without the restrictions you would need in America. Elephants like humans, they think that we are cute. The same part of their brain lights up when they see us that lights up in our brain when we see puppies.

Hey brother, sorry to hear it. Yeah, there is a sort of 'cut off point' for this sort of thing in relationships, particularly for women (though men can do the same things). Basically, if they aren't living with and/or you've been dating less than a year, sometimes two, women will take the exit ramp out. They just don't want to ruin their happy times by dealing with your sad one. Again, men can do the same thing, they're just a lot less likely to from what I've seen. As for how to get through it,…

the sad thing is that even if a place is catering to males, it all goes to shit if a woman just announces herself in a thread. Even on 4chan I used to do these threads that were just about talking to each other with starting questions and aesthetic image themes, and a girl would walk in like 'hi, are girls allowed here?'. Instantly it gets 30 responses just saying 'yes of course' because every guy jumps at the chance to just speak to a girl. Just having a Vagina really changes everything.

They did a study that found that people we consider to be 'productive' don't actually have some secret, the thing you lack is an actual desire. People who study, go to the gym and make use of their time do so because it actually brings them joy. Those activities don't bring you joy, you just want the end result of that time. That being said, there are ways to get yourself to do things. Having a scheduled 'to-do list' can help keep you in place. There are reward systems where you get something in…

Men think 'Imagine getting a great job or starting my own business' in terms of getting money, but girls have the entitlement to think that it has to be a guy just giving them money. And without sex, why does it even matter if its a guy? What a peculiar requirement for a slave.

There is a native American tribe that gave out spirit totems based on what you needed to learn, not on what traits you encapsulate. One totem was of the Bobcat, which was meant to teach you how to be alone without being lonely. Most people avoid loneliness by bringing in other people, but if you move forward with the intent of battling loneliness on your own, even if you have no idea what that would actually entail, it tends to restructure your brain to look at being alone differently, to think …

Well, the first few weeks tend to be really intense for a new relationship, particularly in high school, but after that, they generally simmer down a bit. Remember when we could have actual strong female characters without it being about how they were strong female characters? EVen Buffy, which was literally about a girl given super powers to compete with male villains, was just about becoming an adult, with struggles related to school, graduated, the loss of a parent, etc. Now everything is about women being told they can't, when no men are running around telling women they can't do anything (other then unironically beat up men)
