You do realize that there is far more to life than sex and "pleasing thousands of years of ancestors" right? That "feminist nonsense" is helping me, but you can't see it because your idea of success is bending to fucking traditionalist bullshit ideas of "masculinity". All you did was just repeat generic "man up" talking points people like me have heard a million times, you typed paragraphs and said nothing I haven't already read. I'm single right now because I have personal issues I want and nee…

Are you aware of the statistics surrounding being raised by a single mother? Do you know how many men in prison come from single mother homes? What is your answer to this? Do you really believe that women can teach men how to be men better than men can? Are you really going to use the US prison system as some proof of how women can't raise up men? The same system, I will remind you is overcrowded with people who've done petty shit like got caught with weed and are typically from poor backgrounds…

Thanks for the e-hug. Things are falling into place, slowly but surely. One of the best feelings in the world was remembering that I was really caring as a little kid, I feel like I'm the person I'm supposed to be now. Growing up I've realized isn't becoming cynical and bitter like some people make it out to be.

I will share my thoughts. I more than understand the concern for problems that men face, I'm concerned about them too, but "The Red Pill" isn't the solution and as you might already know since you commented on my most recent post, I feel it's actually the problem. Your post more or less is what I'm talking about, someone who in the eyes of society is a "failure" because they can't conform to their gender role and gets sold patriarchy in a repackaged branding. To truly understand men's issues, yo…

I'm glad you focused on the writing part, a lot of time I mention writing to other guys and the idea is just sorta glossed over by them. I really hate that journaling, poetry, and other forms of creative writing and by extension, introspective writing is coded as "feminine" especially in a world that devalues anything not "masculine". I write a lot now, and in a lot of cases, I look forward to it. I got into poetry as well, which is also just for me, though I have been thinking up of stuff I wou…

Also, I have a lot of free time right now. So I'm cool with answering questions or clarifying things I wrote in this post. Ask away.

It's weird, but I do see where your husband is coming from, let me explain this. I hate the red pill and what it stands for but from the posts I've read it sounds like he was trying to play into his role of provider way too hard, and instead of reflecting into himself and seeing what choices he made led him where he is now, he found people who are telling him that women suck and are evil or whatever. I see it from comments like "He wants time for himself" that really sounds like a guy who is fed…

I can agree with this, I have nothing but sympathy for those who were sucked in while young. What really makes my blood boil though is how a lot of the older ones are generally making pretty good money selling books or donations on Youtube all based on their lies and manipulation. At that point, you aren't just parroting information thoughtlessly, you are actually exploiting young people out of their money all while making them feel like trash. Sickening.

One thing I've noticed with most reactionary groups and even just some other groups in general is this amazing skill to blow up at most one Twitter thread or comment section or even just a few extreme situations from an article into the biggest piece of "evidence" of whatever claim they have. One of the biggest issues with the "cock carousel" is that it's always framed as a recent "problem" born from Feminism and now the Internet; You know the drill, marriage was designed limit a woman's hyperga…

There isn't much I can say since you seem to be attempting to learn from your mistakes, but if you haven't checked it out already, try to hang with us over a /r/MensLib, It's a great place to get more perspective and ultimately understand yourself. I know you can overcome this.

They have their right to say whatever they want without government intervention, but Reddit has the right police their own website.

Well, not everyone who disagrees with marriage is a red piller. I'm all about love and happiness, but I don't think marriage is the best way to go (for me, I should say). Also, you can be cautious with people you meet and date but not be paranoid. MGTOW doesn't own the rights to anti-marriage attitudes or disliking individual women who behave poorly.

Yea, this going nowhere. I'm done here if you're going to be hostile and yell. Good day.

Yes, it is victim blaming. You are looking at a crime where someone (the victim) is being acted upon and instead of pointing fingers at the actual criminal you are blaming the person who was victimized. In all honestly, who wants to not only experience something horrible at the hands of another person and then have other people tell them what they did wrong? I'll acknowledge that most people have their hearts in the right place but it still feels horrible. My point still stands, you wouldn't get…

I must say that I completely disagree with you. I'm similar to you in a way, I've been pushed away from certain communities because I've started to question commonly held beliefs of people who fully bought into TRP. And I'm going to be honest, most of your arguments against Feminism are not good and are soaked in the issues that Feminists talk about a lot, you'd likely get banned less if you stopped; I realize that though women date 'toxic masculinity' all the time. and dont give a fuck. women n…

I don't think Internet debates are even the best way to approach most issues, to be fair. I just want to talk casually about problems and hear other people's ideas. Besides, if you mean me debating anti-Feminists, I'm not bothering anymore, I don't think there is anything to be gained from arguing with people who are unable to provide any counter arguments that don't attack people's appearances, playing semantics (Feminism has "Fem" in the name, therefore it's not equality), or rattling off buzz…

I ended up skipping pop Feminism to get into the meat of Feminist ideas. Mostly because all of the anti-Feminist talking points are just conflating PopFem with the whole of Feminism, so I've already heard enough of that.

Not at all, but that sounds great, a space to talk about men's issues without hating on others? Count me the fuck in, since that's all I really wanted, to discuss my own issues and relate to other people. Edit: Saw the first post there about where they stand. I love it even more.

"kooks" That's the nice way of describing them, I guess. But it is good to be have gotten out of that mentality. It was weird learning more about Feminist ideas and then trying to debate anti-Feminists only to learn that most of them are unable to argue any points. Just links to blogs, PragerU, and all of that. That just pushed me further into reading about the "taboo" subjects, now those same people who can't go two sentences without a buzzword from a chan board would just sound like total nons…

It is kinda weird if you start to think about it. But it sorta like a feedback loop, when I finally recognized any emotional pain from things like childhood bullying or people trying to force their ideals onto me/overstepping my boundaries/etc, I started to see how this applied to other people. You start hearing about other people's problems and then you start thinking, "What if this happened to me?". And it just keeps going and going. Now I'm getting to a point where I understand that my feelin…
