You’re trolling me. You’re not even making any points I just reply and you go “That’s not true. You’re disconnected from reality. That makes no sense.”

That’s exactly the point I’m making thank you LMAO

??? What are you talking about lmao? Depends on what the equations on the blackboard are. Your analogies are as bad as your debating. I make assertions and you go “Nuh uh.” Without any evidence.

The bias seems pretty systematic if it’s built into our actual biology and is perpetuated in corporate settings. 6’+ men account for 15% or lower percent of the population but account for 60% of CEOs. Same principle applies to any position of high esteem and that includes things like the presidency, even, as taller candidates are usually chosen to win.

“Psychological and sociological literature solidly demonstrates that we hold implicit biases against short individuals and favor tall ones.8 Unconsciously, we associate a host of positive qualities (not connected to height) to those blessed with a few additional inches, and we belittle people born a few inches short—especially men.” “In adulthood, height is an important factor in perceived power, and taller individuals are accorded a higher social status. We believe tall men are healthier, more …

The source linked in OP attributes the lack of fair wages and promotional opportunities to systemic bias and discrimination against short men on the basis of the physical characteristic of height. Short men haven’t gone through systematic slavery as with black people, for example, or had their rights to vote specifically revoked or withheld, as with women, but contemporarily the same stigma/bias with similar negative effects based on the principle of “I don’t like the way you look” is present. I…

Source? Any study you find will confirm that in regard to perceived intelligence, confidence, competence, kindness, etc. short men will be perceived as lesser than taller men because they are short. This accounts for the discrepancy in wages and carries over to short men’s interpersonal interactions, obviously, as short men are more likely to be abused, killed, and to kill themselves as well. As according to one study done in Sweden, every 2 inches lost in height can account for a 9% increase in…

Even if a Napoleon Complex was real (it’s not) then the question becomes what makes them that way? What causes it? Well society shaming them for being short. Heightism. Either way heightism is the problem, not short men for being born. No other group has their reaction to discrimination rationalized as some innate thing that makes them evil. I mean, could you imagine this article from a counseling center about Fat Person syndrome or Ugly Person syndrome? Just bizarre honestly. Way more universal…

I think a good first step is generally calling them ‘Short Men’. The moniker seems more condescending or demeaning than endearing when used in most contexts. I think it can be funny when used ironically but otherwise it’s kinda of backhanded.

Here is some information and proof on heightism and it’s pervasiveness. https://opencommons.uconn.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1432&context=law_review https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/A8316#:~:text=A8316%20%2D%20Summary,and%20access%20to%20public%20accommodations. https://masslawyersweekly.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2019/02/HD1683.pdf https://youtu.be/ZbG05ePWRQE https://imgur.io/a/XpwJ1nN

I think we should strive for a more ideal scenario of acknowledging men’s issues and combating them instead of assuming them to be inherent

Me when a man’s head is slightly lower than mine: haha I’m so much better than you! God I just love sucking my own cock.

Well it’s ultimately up to us to read the study and determine it’s validity. I think it’s valid. Men over 6’ account for 15% of the population and yet make up ~70% of CEOs. Short men are commonly mocked and there’s even stereotypes like “Napoleon complex” and “short man syndrome.” It’s no secret that short men are disadvantaged in multiple facets of life. Anyone claiming otherwise I’ve found is usually acting in bad faith themselves or being purposefully obtuse. Edit: And also, you can’t scienti…

Or trying to get discrimination laws put into place… which is what the paper cites as one of the solutions to this problem. He has 70 quality references and it is well written this paper is definitely not some amateur work.

Yes but sociology and psychology, the studies of society and of the mind, are social sciences. This is a socio-psychological study, and thus a scientific study, done by a lawyer because it regards society and law. This sort of paper and study isn’t going to be done by a marine biologist in a journal for nanotechnology.

It’s a quality, scientific peer reviewed study with plenty of references. If you want to confirm the results of the study you can try this: looking around. But yes since height discrimination effects workplace discrimination and courts, I would assume this concerns law.

Short men don’t even get the same special treatment fat women do, and being short is genetic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
