One thing I really like about my boyfriend is he never lets me pay for stuff. The only time I ever managed to pay for a date was because he had never been to the place before and I was prepared at the register. No matter how much I tell him I can pay he’ll never let me. Makes me feel special.

I think it’s especially crazy that guys would do this because of how amazingly my boyfriend handled that sort of thing. He has always made sure that I am comfortable and enjoying what we are doing. He knew I was really nervous about penises in general and made sure I was never doing anything that would make me uncomfortable. And he did it with such ease and kindness.

I’m not sure either, I’m pretty sure I’ve made it clear he’s not being toxic or burden me emotionally. Our core value for our relationship is that we are a support system. That includes me helping him realize that he is “worthy” of me (I don’t love that phrase but I can’t think of a better word). He helps me process my family issues. We support each other as all couples should do, but I’ve made it clear to him that if he was a burden we wouldn’t be dating anymore.

My boyfriend has lower self esteem (which breaks my heart because he’s amazing) And when he’s having a low moment and I’m comforting him he’ll tell me I deserve better. It makes me really sad because not only am I super lucky to be dating him because he really is a great guy but also he doesn’t even realize how great he is.

Our goal for our relationship is that it makes us better. I think it’s a really good basis for everything we do.

I’m having to help my 20 year old boyfriend learn how to get his work done, but that’s more of a conditioned thing we’re working on. I’m okay with it cause I love him, and he’s been helping me realize some issues I need to work on with how I let my family treat me. There’s a difference between helping eachother be better people and being a caretaker.

You gotta be upfront. Dating him because you feel bad is worse for him. Tell him how you feel and all that stuff about him being a wonderful guy but just not the guy for you.

I am the most oblivious person on the world, and I was still 100% sure my current boyfriend liked me within 24 hours.

My boyfriend is an inch shorter than me and people act as though I’m supposed to compensate.

One of my teachers told us women are incapable of being fulfilled without children. In short, you’re completely correct.

I go to a super Christian highschool and the kids there think it’s a sin to be on birth control because “it’s the same thing as abortion” I swear the boys going to this school are going to be terrible people.

It’s so hard to remember not to do this even as a woman. I catch myself thinking “Well I’d be better at this” or “my friend is better at that than she is” and then I have to scold myself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
