Most times if they’re low effort and confused with you, that’s probably their approach to life in general!

Yes. If you want to test the theory about a guy who is "confusing you". I suggest asking them to commit. Point blank. Dont put words in their mouth just ask without leaving them any avenues to hedge the question. They say no. Boom. You're no longer on the hook. I was frustrated bring ok the hook with two guys I liked. Asked them both out even though I knew they "didn't like me that way" but my brain kept holding out hope. So I crushed the hope. A little embarrassing for me. I cried a bit. But completely off the hook. I'm not suggesting you ask out a guy who hasn't made moves to lock you down... but I think girls stay on the hook rather than rip the band off. You can tell when some one wants to prioritize you versus when they are only available when its convenient for them.
