Yup, leaving TRP doesn't magically fix your insecurities, surprise.

Me too, it's been a long time since I did anything with TRP, and I still dont feel how I used to

I was bullied a lot. I was incredibly unpopular in school. I ended up incredibly insecure because of this. My mom was super overprotective of me and would start a huge fight with my dad if my dad criticized me for anything. This led to me trying to behave properly so that I wouldn't upset my dad so that he wouldn't upset my mom. I had a breakup with my first girlfriend that really sent me over the edge and into redpill stuff, which I really regret.

I feel the same way dude. It's been so long since I've touched anything red pill related, I've really improved and tried to put that shit behind me, but I just can't get excited about dating a woman anymore, I have trouble getting attached, whereas before, I fell so badly in love with my first gf.

I've seen enough videos online to know where this is going...

Just because I wish I got more attention from women doesnt mean I want to be one

Dude weve only been together for a few months, how quickly am i supposed to love her? I certainly am very into her but I just have trouble opening up so quickly like that.

I dont want casual sex, I just want to stop feeling so insecure about myself.

Yea, I just want to stop feeling this way

Yea, it absolutely does. I found it after a bad breakup and it made me feel so focused. The problem wasnt me, it was my ex girlfriend. And all the other girls are just like her, so they're the problem too. I got sucked in so hard. I mean, if you're attractive, more girls will want to sleep with you. So if youre trying to sleep with a bunch of girls and not able its it's because you're not attractive. I cant even my other way.

I was always insecure about my appearance, redpill just gave me a way to feel better (sleep with a bunch of people). Now that I don't have that I'm back to feeling insecure about myself again.

It should be "balls".... And balls are related to sex because that's where cum is stored.

Men who are happy with their relationships with women don't seek out the redpill because they're already happy with how things are for them.

I don't. I focus on not being like that in the future. Maybe I'll forgive myself eventually but I don't know.

I mean, I think "women don't know how to give men dating advice" would be more accurate..

I was in the same boat as you. Focus on being better in the future. Before apologizing, think, will this make THEM feel better or make ME feel better? If the later, don't do it, you've hurt them enough already. If you do decide to apologize, remember, not everyone will want to hear it. Some people were very upset with me for how I behaved, and I don't blame them for not accepting my apologies.

It's probably not a good idea honestly. You wait until that age, and then it's "time to date" but you have no experience whatsoever... It's totally fine to not have anything srs until then, but at least go out, talk to girls, try to go on dates, etc. All the life/career experience in the world wont help you if you cant even speak to women.

You're not gonna convince him otherwise. He has to recognize how toxic it is on his own unfortunately.

The thing you have to remember is tinder has way more guys than girls on it, which really skews things in their favour. Real life has much closer to a 50/50 split so things aren't nearly as bad for guys IRL.

Is it true that guys only love a girl for her hot body and will leave her for a hotter girl as soon as he sees one?

I feel like I can say this on every single post on this sub but: Stop focusing so much on women and live your own life. Leaving TRP so you can get laid more is pretty hilarious.

Go outside and actually be friends with some women, that's what helped me..

Lockdown is a great time to get started, there's no going out and hitting on women or anything

What helped me was not focusing so much on women. Focus on your career/school/hobbies/friendships/social life, whatever. Just not on constantly getting laid. I found my life got better (cause I was putting more effort in, no shit), but also, I'd ended up with more female friends that I used to have. (When I was focused on TRP, I had 0 female friends because I'd try to sleep with them all.) And once you have some female friends that you regularly interact with, it's much harder to just hate a who…

Sure, but there's enough women out there that it does work on, and you have a huge selection bias, that it's not hard to BELIEVE it works on most women..

I saw the damage I was causing to women. And realised all of my failed relationships weren't solely they fault, I was partly or mostly responsible for all of them going wrong.

Women like men who are confident, assertive, have a good social life, charismatic, in good shape, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of bad boys have some/all of those qualities (or things that can be mistaken for them). Whereas the "nice guys" that complain about not being able to get any women often do not.

I mean, I have too if you count things like "talking to women" and "exercising" as redpill. I personally don't...

I've never ever seen anyone remotely redpill support pedophilia..
/r/ExRedPill24/04/20 03:44 AM

I mean, I think the basis of it is actually reasonable. "Men and women are different; actually talking to women will help you get laid; being in shape will make you more attractive; etc" are all fairly reasonable things. The problem is, you have these ideas being passed around by guys who have been badly hurt by women in the past, and everything gets twisted into "women are evil"...

I realized I'd hurt a lot of women who hadn't really deserved it. And that I didnt know how to have a healthy relationship.

Supposedly, but I've never seen any good come of redpill

Honestly, it's got to be up to the person themself to break out of it, in my opinion. When I was super into it I didn't listen to anyone telling me anti-redpill stuff. It was only after seeing the consequences of my actions that I decided I needed to stop.

Just dont pay so much attention to women. Focus on your school, hobbies, career, friendships, etc. Spending so much of your life focused on women is not good for you. This worked for me at least.

I certainly got laid a lot. I did not end up with a happy relationship though, which is what I really am after now.

Happy people don't seek out TRP. It's incels, people who've gone through horrible breakups, people who have been strung along by women one too many times. The problem is, there's not a "healthy" place for them to go. They end up on TRP, which tells them "women have mistreated you, you deserve better", which is exactly what they're feeling in their anger. TRP promises them a solution to their problems with women, which is something they can't find anywhere else (not saying TRP is the right soluti…

When I first found the redpill, I was "faking" being an asshole so I could get women. A few years later, I found I couldn't stop. I'm now trying to detox from the redpill, with mixed success so far.

TRP changed me for the worse too. I haven't been able to have a happy relationship with a woman since. I just over-analyze and think every little thing will make her lose attraction for me. Ironically the issue is always me being too insecure. I'm looking into a bit of therapy to help sort myself out but haven't found anything yet.

Well, i started my trp journey out of anger at my ex cheating on me. Not exactly a great starting point for my journey.

The comment i replied to said my post was "fishy" and i sounded like a "TRP troll".

Sure, TRP "worked". Stuff like exercising and dressing better is solid advice for anyone though. And it's hard not to get laid when you approach dozens of women every week, it's just a numbers game at that point. I certainly did become more confident talking to women, which probably was the most helpful, but "being confident talking to women" is not a TRP specific thing.

If you don't want to believe my post you don't need to. I deleted my TRP account when i decided to stop following TRP a while ago, which is why i made this one.

Never in my post did I claim TRP doesn't work. I only said that I've started to feel like a shitty person after using TRP tactics for so long. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Thank you for saving me the trouble of typing this out. I certainly was not "alpha", my obsession with sex was extremely unhealthy. I didn't go into details in my post, but my ex gf was not well. She thought she was worthless, and got more and more obsessed with me the worse i treated her. I hope she sorts her issues out. A part of me wonders if she's that way because of how i treated her.

I actually found the manosphere through girlwriteswhat. I explored all sorts of sites and content, but TRP drew me in because (1) the stuff there was actionable and (2) I was angry at my first ex over her cheating. After my initial introduction to the manosphere, I mainly visited the subreddit (this was before it was quarantined), and followed links from there. I also would read The Rational Male blog, Dalrock, and Chateau Heartiste.
