He's literally trying to break down the entire experience of life trough biology, religion, philosophy, and psychology, it's taken him 40 years to get where he is of doing nothing but that, it's going to take a while to grasp what he's saying, I'm not there yet but I just purchased his book Maps or Meaning and it's breathtaking.
