Can't take a piss with others aroundRecite multiplication tables in your head. Apparently the same part of the brain controls the muscles that restrict the bladder and multiplication. I don't remember where I read it but it has worked the few times I've needed it. I'm an engineer and good with math so I have had to get into the higher ends of the table, usually squares 13x13, 16x16 stuff like that. | /r/askTRP | 16/10/15 04:35 PM
My wife (I know) separated with me, still wants monogamy, and wants me to get my shit together. She's already cheating. She just wants you for a safety net. Do everything you have been doing to better yourself, file for divorce so you are in the drivers seat and go meet some women. Been there, almost to the finish line, divorce is final in a week or so. | /r/askTRP | 16/10/15 04:21 PM
What should a guy who is in the process of getting in a divorce be doing to keep good mental health and self esteem?First and foremost, lift, exercise and eat right. The body fuels the mind. If you've accepted that the divorce is inevitable and the process has begun then go meet some new women and get laid. It was such a boost to my self esteem to go from a woman who could only be happy if I wasn't in her life to finding a few that wanted to do anything they could to make me happy. | /r/askTRP | 11/10/15 08:07 PM

Being chubby is making me depressed.280, 5'8, do the math on % and I get laid. Maybe not 10s but there are plenty of cute women that smell good that will sleep with you as long as you have your shit together even if your body isn't there yet. | /r/askTRP | 25/09/15 03:31 PM
Is it needy when you want to read your LTR's messages? Even when you suspect something ?In a very slight bit of defense for her there was an iPhone upgrade that required use of a passlock. I don't remember if it was Keychain or ApplePay but I never used one until that upgrade. But don't take that as proof of her innocence. | /r/askTRP | 25/09/15 03:28 PM
I'm 22,I'm drunk, I'm heartbroken, I'm listening to oldies, Help.Because it works. Changes you mentally and physically. Restores your self worth. Read the sidebar, internalize it and grow. Life is better in the other side. Check my post history is you want to see how TRP can change a person in a relatively short time. | /r/askTRP | 11/09/15 12:37 AM
Tummy squishy after lifting.I've noticed the same thing. My non-medical hypothesis - the fat is softened so the body can burn it now that you are lifting and eating right | /r/askTRP | 03/09/15 08:38 PM
My Story, and how do I get over my soon-to-be-exwife?Bingo!! In a similar (though less extreme) situation and this has really helped out. | /r/askTRP | 31/08/15 03:26 PM
What has been the most stressful time in your life, The "make or break" and how did you manage to overcome it?Four years ago my dad died. It hit me damn hard. I've never understood the people that hate their dads. Mine was great and we got along fantastic. Ended up depressed which lead to health problems. I expected support from my wife, in my time of need, but yeah that doesn't happen. A year later I find out she's having an affair with a neighbor. More depression. Try to make it work for 3 more years. Earlier this year she wants a separation, I can feel myself sinking again. Researching ways to improv… | /r/askTRP | 26/08/15 05:47 PM
"How's your day going?""Fucking awesome" or "Busy as shit" Anything that can't be interpreted that you were waiting for them to text. Followed by a simple "and yours?" Then a few "cools" or "yeahs" as she rambles on about hers. Always following a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio. From time to time throw in a sexual innuendo. | /r/askTRP | 26/08/15 05:28 PM
Some of you on depression therapy?Lifting was a big part of it. The mind and body are connected. I don't think you can improve one without the other improving too. But also emotionally letting go of all the shit dragging me down. Realizing I wasn't fighting a unique battle. AWALT! I wasn't some special snowflake that God had decided to punish with a cheating wife. Another big thing was that I saw hope for the future. That I don't have to live an unhappy sexless life in a loveless marriage. | /r/askTRP | 21/08/15 07:15 PM
Some of you on depression therapy?Took Zoloft 2 years ago. Had a rough 2 years prior to that year losing a parent then discover wife's affair. I hated the way I felt on it, better to be depressed than to be numb and feel nothing and care about nothing. Weaned myself off and let the depression run its course. Started to dip back in to depression earlier this year when we separated. Luckily I found TRP which knocked the depression right out of me. Right now I feel better mentally than I have in probably 8-10 years. | /r/askTRP | 21/08/15 05:02 PM

Greybeards, what to do?Mine is similar, only on the chin for summer, but only about an inch long. Full beard from mid sept to late March. This past year I grew it even fuller since the soon to be ex only liked the goatee look. | /r/askTRP | 21/08/15 01:00 AM
Just had a car crash, has TRP made me emotionless?I think TRP helps to instill a "don't sweat the small stuff" attitude through stoicism and maintaining frame. | /r/askTRP | 28/07/15 06:45 PM
Embarrassed to buy condomsSelf checkout line. In all honesty the cashiers don't care. Their only concern is when's their next break, lunch or quitting time. They don't even pay attention to half the shit the run across the scanner. | /r/askTRP | 28/07/15 06:43 PM
My ex wife is manipulating my children and is using $90,000+ of the child support I paid to pay for a child that's not mine.Open your own savings account for your son. When he is 18+ you can give him the money. If you want to buy a car then title it in your name and his. | /r/askTRP | 24/07/15 01:31 PM
Aside from lifting, what are everyone's hobbies?Outdoor stuff - hunting, fishing, hiking, camping Like to cook, especially smoking, trying new meats and seasonings* Also got into canning fruits, veggies and meats. * Play a little golf Tie flies for fishing in the winter as a side job funny aside to the smoking and smoking - my wife loves everything I cook. | 13 | "We are your bosses"I'll tell you the exact same thing I would tell my high school son. Shut your mouth, do your job, get your letter and move on. Why introduce drama, stress and hassle where there doesn't need to be any? And what benefit does it bring you? Choose your battles and determine which are worth fighting. | /r/askTRP | 15/07/15 04:52 PM
morning workout vs late-night work outs?I prefer mornings for the fact that nothing interferes with that time. No surprise meetings or appointments, no opportunity for excuses. Get up, get it done, get to work. | /r/askTRP | 29/06/15 01:50 PM
How many of you suffered from actual depression before swallowing the pill, and how did it affect your progress? It snapped me out of my depression about 36 hours after finding this sub. Changed my entire outlook on life, breathed new life into me and gave me the balls to file for divorce and move on. I saw a pic on FB the other day that said "If you knew me a year ago then you don't know me, let me reintroduce myself" or something like that. My friends, family and therapist have all been astounded by my turnaround and improvement. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/06/15 01:44 PM
Parents hyper focused on gradesBecause parents don't want to see their kids piss away an opportunity for a good life ESPECIALLY if they are footing the bill. Swallowing the red pill means being the best YOU that you can be. Is 3.3 GPA the best you can be. | /r/askTRP | 19/05/15 07:29 PM
Being alone vs. being lonelyTo me, alone is a physical description whereas lonely is an emotional trait. Alone describes where you are, lonely describes how you feel. In my world they are mutually exclusive and not interdependent. I can be alone and be completely content and happy. I can be in a crowded room and feel completely lonely. | /r/TheRedPill | 13/05/15 04:09 PM
TRP has shattered my world and made me realise what a sexually grovelling beta I've become. Uncoordinated rant.I am you, 20 years from now. I was married to your girlfriend, well not her exactly but one just like her. Get out while you still can, not after years of frustration and disappointment, couple kids who are going to get their world turned upside down, losing half your worth and still dealing with the same shitty person for years to come because you made kids together. | 1 | A Question: Is there a second Carousel?Yeah, I didn't find TRP until earlier this year when I was looking for ways to save a marriage that I should have ended 2+ years ago. If I had TRP knowledge 10 years ago things would have been far far different. When we abandoned the 2 bedroom house and built a 5 bedroom McMansion my conversion to the beta side was complete. I'm done having kids, won't even consider LTR with anyone with kids younger than mine, I'm looking forward to the empty nest years. Working on negotiating minimal alimony by being very congenial and accepting of a greater portion of debt and making the divorce process as smooth and quick as possible. I want her out of my life as quick as possible. As soon as none of my kids are with her I couldn't care less if she's living in a gutter. | 1 | Why "All men must die" and "Robin Hood" are relatedIn the show it is very important to the Bravoosi people, especially the Faceless Men and is key to Arya Starks storyline. But it is not meant as a threat to "all men" more as an acceptance of the inevitable, kinda like "yolo". | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/15 03:47 PM

My paradigm shifted within 48 hrs of finding TRP, MRP and reading No More Mr Nice Guy. I went from obsessing over trying to figure out what I could do to save my marriage to wondering why I was even trying. | 37 | "Men who were cheated on but didn't end the relationship, how are you doing?" Welcome to the weekly beta-fest at r/askmenI for one am getting the divorce I should have gotten 2 years ago. Never could get over it, never could find a shred of trust for her. Wasted 2 years of my life trying. Thankfully I found TRP to really help me through thr divorce and see all the good on the other side. Divorce is not final yet but working on my first two plates. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/04/15 06:23 PM |

Defining your ‘Self’ as we are NOT what we own…Yeah I was agreeing with you and saying that while society (advertisers) want you to think that the "things" make the man it has been my experience that "things" made me less of a man. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 27/04/15 06:03 PM
Defining your ‘Self’ as we are NOT what we own…I think the complete opposite is true. As I look back on my life its seems that the more stuff I owned the more beta I became. I came to really loathe the lifestyle I had become accustomed to. The huge house and all the shit in it, pain in the ass to keep clean especially when the wife won't help "because she didn't make the mess", the RV with color TV and AC when I really just want to go sleep under the stars. | 2 | Do you Love/Respect your Mother? Why or Why not?I both love and respect my mom. My parents were in their 40 s when I was born. They were children of the depression. She was a stay at home mom, no daycare for me and she thinks all mothers should stay at home. In today's world she isn't very smart, but in her day I would say she was. Dad never made big money, but they didn't make many money mistakes either and they shared in the decision process. | 4 | BP friend found out his wife cheated on him. Classic example of branch-swinging. What advice would you give? This was me 2.5 years ago. My biggest mistake, trying to work it out and move on. Should have gotten the divorce back then rather than doing it now. I was never able to trust her again and it eroded what relationship we had. Honestly our kids would have been better off too. As I look back I realize that the parts of my life where I was lifting have always been the positive times, the good times. Non lifting years seem to correlate to down times. I can't say for sure which is the cause and which is the effect but there is a correlation. Dying cancer wife is fed up.Honestly I should have listened to her when she told me to do stuff with friends and to get out of the house. Instead I only tried harder. Since finding this site my mind has been almost dizzy, from finding out I'm not alone in my situation to really understanding why things are the way they are and what can be done about them. I dont expect her to snap to, from the time she suggested the separation I have felt it was going to end in a permanent split. That was what I have feared the most. | 3 | Might be leaving MRP soonI think you might be right. What I am struggling with right now is whether she deserves an improved me. I don't want to have this underlying feeling that I am doing this to win her back. I truly want to feel that I am improving me for me and I don't know if I can do that in this relationship. | 2 | Down the rabbit hole...Eh, I don't really care about the room I sleep in. It won't matter anyway once the house is sold which will be first action item once the divorce decision is made. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 23/03/15 04:12 PM
Sit still and be quiet vs quietly playing during church, when people are over, etc.I'm confused. Was this in church or when people from church were visiting your home? In church I have always felt that kids should sit quietly in church from the earliest age possible. I hate seeing kids coloring and playing with cars and toys in the pew when they are obviously old enough to be sitting without being entertained. In your own home I have absolutely zero problems with a kid playing quietly while adults are conversing as long as they are not disruptive. | /r/RedPillParenting | 23/03/15 03:04 PM
