If I let it go, my beard would be completely white. I don't care if women like it or not. I don't like it, so I use Touch of Gray so it matches the dark hair on my head.

It could. But it could also be a turn on.

I've been told flat out by several different plates, "I don't like it when you shave your mustache... it makes you look younger."

Personally, I'd rather focus my attention on the very large segment of girls in their 20s who have a thing for older men.

48 here. I grow a beard around/under my chin, and braid it into two ca. 15 cm long plaits (takes around 2 minutes to do). Cheeks and upper lip are shaven. I dye the plaits of my beard every two or so weeks. I use normal hair-dye for it with a toothbrush, it's a matter of a few minutes and well worth the effort. This beard style is not for everyone, though. Could go very well with a shaven head, I think.

My scalp hair, however, is very full for a guy of any age (thanks, mom!), and I wear it metal style very long down my back. Gets dyed black every once in a while, too, but since there's little grey in it yet, I don't have to do it more than once or twice a year.

As a result, when asked for my age and I say 48, nobody believes me. I get frequently mistaken for a student. I'm wondering for how long this will go on, I mean, I'm pushing 50... :-)

I'm 48 and have long hair but no beard. The temples are finally going gray. I've used Just for MentORPHEUS^{^TM} hair dye on occasion. If I use the correct hue, it is an improvement that lasts for 6-8 weeks, and people think I'm in my 30s. If I use the wrong hue by 1, it looks like absolute crap and people ask what I did wrong to my hair.

I figure by the time I hit 50, the wiry sideburns and new hair will be gray enough to make it too high contrast therefore too high maintenance to dye, and wear the gray with pride.

I shave my head because it's thing on top and towards the back.

I have a beard and I touch it up with JFM. I use a very light brown so that it doesn't darken my beard and just adds a little color to the grey. That way, if I don't color it every week it's not so noticeable if it changes back to grey.

If you start to color then you must be consistent. People will notice if you go from grey to brown to grey to brown.
