The first method is genius. These days you can identify as a woman.

Sorry Men's Rights community. I'm usually with you all the way, but not on this one. I agree that men should have a way to opt-out of fatherhood/financial abortions, it's equal and fair. But this case is not just a regularl case of a girl using her "female privilege" to remove herself from all responsibility because she simply doesn't WANT to be a mother. She is screwed and has no other options. But yes, generally speaking, abortions and adoptions are often being treated as contraception for wom…

Most people would prefer to shelter themselves and let other people fight (and possibly) die in wars if given the opportunity, both men and women. The majority of people that were given the option to get the f out of Ukraine did so (women and children). I'm not saying that war refugees aren't suffering, but if fighting a war is the more desirable position opposed to fleeing, why didn't more women stay with their sons, brothers, and husbands that had no say on the matter whatsoever.

The entire problem is this stigma that physical strength is what causes a power imbalance, it doesn’t. The moment I use my strength I will face almost immediate consequences, but anyone can ruin someone’s life in much more subtle ways and easily get away with it. I'd argue that physical strength does cause a power imbalance in many ways. But contrary to common beliefs, I think it often falls in women's favor. - not in men's. The privilege of being perceived as weak is so ridiculously powerful. W…

I know that it's a rhetorical question, but no. Believing anything other than the evidence is illogical, unless the evidence isn't conclusive - which it very much is in this case.

I admittedly didn't read the entire article, it's a bit too long. - But I read quite a bit. The evidence is indisputable, so why are parts of society and the media so afraid of portraying the outcome of the trial as the truth. The trial left us with no real indications of Johnny ever being abusive at any point in the relationship, but we still have people speculating on whether the abuse was mutual, with no basis for their uncertainty. Everything she used against him in court was proven to be li…

The amount of hoops and mental gymnastics they have to go through to convince themselves of this is almost hilarious, if only the case wasn't so damn evil. The evidence is indisputable. There are no real indications that Johnny was ever abusive at any point in their relationship. Everything she had against him was proven to be lies or setups on her part, which makes this case so much worse than a regular case of a false allegation. She abused him physically and mentally, then planned and faked e…

In my opinion, what she did goes far beyond just falsely accusing him of rape and abuse. She planned and faked evidence to back up her claims. If only she was a tiny bit more cunning, maybe she would have gotten away with it. Removing your "bruises" the day after the incident isn't the smartest of ideas if you ask me. Also, I can't think of anything more malicious than abusing someone, and then later convincing everybody that YOU'RE the victim of abuse at the hands of the ACTUAL victim. That's s…

I don't understand how it is even comparable? Are you not satisfied with your weight? Hit the gym and go on a diet. I know that it's a battle and definitely not easily accomplished, but it's achievable. No amount of effort can make you taller, it's just how it is. The fact that it is unchangeable makes it a worse thing to shame about. I know you don't need convincing, just felt the need to type it out.

In some ways yes, in other ways no. Actually, I'm not sure. Regardless of the gender, we're somewhat blind to our own privileges and the others struggles. We'll never know exactly how it feels to live a life as woman and they'll never know exactly how it feels to live a life as a man. I think that the main difference is the amount of sympathy and understanding each issue is getting. Women's issues are actually being handled and taken seriously, while men's are being ridiculed or ignored. Even so…

I don't completely disagree with you and I understand the arguments for being lenient towards women. On the other hand, I think that it's also teaching women that hitting men comes with no real consequences when we're just letting it slide or only allowed to restrain. Humans usually only think twice about our actions the moment there is a risk involved. For instance, I would never walk up and slap Dwayne Johnson and expect to not get slapped back, just because I'm physically weaker. Being physic…

They are also favored in many male-dominated fields. STEM fields are actively promoting for more women to enter. I also remember seeing an experiment with identical applications but with different names on(male and female names). The "women" got like triple the amount of interviews using the same application. Perhaps not a large enough sample size to confirm the bias on a larger scale, but the results were consistently showing gender bias in all fields the experiment covered.

Alright. I choose to believe you then. But generally, I would trust women on this one. I and most other men have 0 experience with high heels, so I don't think it'd be fair to deny their complaints.

Perhaps not immediately. But it's not a natural position for your ankles, so it might be in the long run. Again, have you tried it?
/r/AntiFeminists28/07/22 07:30 AM

Sure, it's not 8 inch heels, but that doesn't mean that 1 inch heels are comfortable for long hours. Are you wearing 1 inch heels for hours regularly or just a naysayer without any experience? Let's just believe women on this one. Edit: Maybe you genuinely misunderstood, but I (as a guy) assume it's straining for the ankles to wear even 1 inch heels for long periods regularly. I have no idea how women can wear really long heels for more than a couple of minutes.
/r/AntiFeminists28/07/22 07:20 AM

I don't wear long heels, but I can imagine that it's one the more straining and uncomfortable dress codes enforced, especially on long shifts. Do I think it's sexist? not really. Men have dress codes too. But I completely understand her complaint and think it's fairly reasonable, actually.

I guess it can be twisted in that direction too, but it is not my personal experience. On the contrary, I've seen many women straight out EXPECT to be paid for. I know men are largely contributing to keeping this "tradition'' alive, but I feel like paying for dates is not even viewed as a gesture deserving of gratitude anymore, it has just become an expectation put on men. It's almost like women's time and presence is perceived as more valuable, so we have to PAY for it. Most men don't really mi…

We're on the same page. Me being a participant in r/antifeminists is not equivalent to me being ignorant of women's struggles. I just feel like modern Feminism has been hijacked by spiteful misandrist women using the well-established brand of Feminism to gatekeep victimhood. An example of that; Domestic violence is not as one-sided as it's being portrayed (I'll bet that you'll be genuinely surprised when looking at the statistics), yet 99% of shelters are women only. I hear you, but it's starting to become really hard to differentiate between "real feminists" and misandrists. These "feminists" have a strong enough number to harm men and they do so wielding the Feminism banner, so what are we supposed to believe? You mean like girls being obsessed with their weight or cup size, among other things? Who cares what people are insecure about. It's generally distasteful to prey on other peoples insecurities and dick size is no different just because it's only aimed at one gender. For many men it's a very sensitive topic and arguably worse than other types of body shaming, since it's linked to men's ability to satisfy women sexually and makes them feel inferior in bed.(I know that some women disagree, but it i…

I respectfully disagree. It's a meme that plays off of "less fortunate" guys. Both women AND men feels insecure about their bodies. Dick size, chest size, etc. Are things we have no control over. Shaming these specific body parts should not be justified as "memes" in my opinion. I'm not justifying any type of body shaming whatsoever, but weight is a thing you can actively improve on, yet it is less accepted to "meme" about than dick size.

I dont think guys should go around and say that either, it's bad too. But one is normalized, while the other is labeled as body shaming. I wish the hypocrisy would stop.

The equivalent would be "small tits energy" and "loose vagina energy". It's just not socially accepted to body shame women with flat chest, but it's pretty much the equivalent.

Metaphor or not, it's implying that small dicks are pathetic. If you think that "small dick energy" is alright to say but "small tits energy" or "loose vagina energy" isn't, you are a hypocrite with lack of empathy. The only difference between the two is whether the statement is making fun at the expense of men or women. If you consider one statement body shaming, then both are.

Wouldn't same argument be applicable to women who wants abortions? I'm pro-choice, I think banning abortions is very wrong. Women will do abortions anyway, so let us at least make it as safe as possible. HOWEVER, I also think it's a huge double standard to hold men accountable from the moment of intercourse, while we do not hold women accountable at that stage at all. In fact, we are excusing women who gets pregnant by accident and if anyone dares to hold women accountable for becoming pregnant …

I agree with your point, it is fundamentally a sexist joke. But I'm still baffled that it results in a permanent ban. She is not completely off IMO. Smashing anything nearby in a temper tantrum is definitely not the way. Maybe we need a bit more context? Besides that, it's indeed completely reasonable to state that the reaction to men and women being destructive is vastly different, regardless of how unhealthy it may be. What is a real woman then? I'm just curious. If being a real man comes with criterias, the same applies to women, right? I agree that those are wonderful and desirable traits, but I don't agree with defining what a real man or what a real woman is. I support womens rights because there are still serious issues for women around the world and that's a fact. But I would never associate with the feminist movement, they don't care about equality at all, they only care about womens issues (western women primarily) and to shut men out of the debate of gender equality. The only time I've heard feminists ever caring about women in the middle east, it has been to win an argument and to justify their own existence. But in reality, they aren't really …

It's a misstatement. I'm not a native speaker so my articulation is flawed at times, haha. It's not that I believe men generally want to hit women, but the repercussions act as another set of brakes to stop men from instigating a physical confrontation, which women do not have. I 100% agree with you. Regarding power, I'm tired of hearing about "men's power" in domestic violence cases. Listening to Elaine and Amber talking about Johnny as a rich, famous, and powerful man as an argument for Amber's innocence triggered me beyond belief. None of that necessarily reflects power in a relationship dynamic. In fact, I'd argue that most women hold a lot more power in relationship dynamics compared to their male partners, since men are taught to treat women like queens by phrase…

I'm not part of the sub nor simping, but she did shine the brightest in this trial. Her cross examinations caused Amber Heard to trip all over her own stories so many times and exposed her lies, her delivery was just great. That’s not what I’m implying, lol. How to put words in my mouth. I’m saying that taking all claims of rape at face value without any proof is dangerous, because yes, some people does lie, both men and women. That’s why all suspects of any crime are being treated as innocent until proven guilty. But for some reason, we have people who’re preaching “believe all women” as if suspects of rape should be held to other standards.

This is a direct cause of the Me Too movement. It teaches us to believe all women without any real evidence being provided. The movement is honestly more harmful than good. So many people have been caught abusing #MeToo just for convenience(easier to call it rape than admitting to have been cheating etc.). I feel bad for the real victims, their terrible experiences will eventually become invalidated.

Just lie about your income. If money is a dealbreaker, it’s a good indication that she’s planning on relying on you financially. I’m all in for treating my girlfriend, but the moment it becomes an expectation, I’m out. She’s not my personal housekeeper and I’m not her personal ATM. I understand how biology works, but child support is not part of biology whatsoever. When a child isn’t mutually desired, it’s the woman making the choice to keep it or not. Nothing is forced onto her. I’m talking about conceiving. Men are expected to take responsibility, while women gets to decide whether or not they want to own up to the “mistake” (unintentionally getting pregnant)
/r/MensRights24/11/21 07:59 AM
2

You’re right, I want equal accountability. If telling men to “man up” and take responsibility is considered reasonable, the same should apply to women, otherwise it’s a double standard. It takes two to create life, but currently only one gender is expected to take responsibility for the act.
/r/MensRights24/11/21 07:55 AM

It is hypocrisy only holding men accountable, when your arguments can be gender reversed. Both genders knows the risks, yet it’s only men who are expected to take responsibility.
/r/MensRights24/11/21 07:24 AM

Only holding men accountable for their actions, while allowing women options to opt-out after conceiving is hypocrisy though. I’m pro-choice in the sense that I believe both women and men deserves a way out of unintentional pregnancy, but I can respect your opinion, as long as your arguments applies to both genders. “Keep it in the pants and don’t spread your legs.”
/r/MensRights24/11/21 07:00 AM

You’re right, abortion doesn’t happen to mens body. Most people here are not really arguing against that, nor women’s right to decide whether or not she goes through with the pregnancy. We’re just not alright with having no reproductive rights other than trying our best to not conceive. If you truly believe that’s reasonable, you’re against abortions too, right? Because women hold the same amount of responsibility.
/r/MensRights24/11/21 06:28 AM

Yeah, the basic replies from people who doesn’t give a fuck about equal rights. To be honest, women should have undisputed rights of their own body. We just can’t force women to give birth or go through an abortion, it’s not right. But since it’s her decision to make, it should also be her sole responsibility too if she chooses to keep the child against the fathers wishes. If men have no say in regards to birth and abortion, we should at least have the option to opt-out financially.

Being an anti feminist is not equivalent to fighting against women’s right and issues, because they do exist. I just don’t believe feminism fights for equality, that’s all. Feminism is way too one-sided and many feminists either fights against men’s rights or don’t recognise men’s issues as a matter of concern.

They sure do. But let’s not go down to the level of Feminism, making every trivial inconvenience an issue. Eventually their pursuit of ‘equality’ will bite them right in the ass (when they are forced to go down with the sinking ship next to me or be the last person to leave a burning building)

I strongly support women’s right to abortion! Though, I also think it’s hypocrisy that men are expected to take ‘responsibility’, but expecting the same of women is misogynistic. For sure. It’s just a movie, let writers do what they want. I’m not mad at Titanic for killing off all men in order for women and children to survive. But Titanic probably wouldn’t be popular among women if it was Jack floating on a door, while Rose and all the women were drowning in the freezing cold water. At the end of the day, it’s just a movie though. If I ever find myself in a situation like Titanic, I’ll just remind the women of how equality works.

I agree with you, but I get his point of view too. If producers of a big franchise that usually ‘empowers women’ decides to ditch the concept and make it about men instead, you’re guaranteed to be met with a massive uproar from feminists around the world. I’m not. I often refer to both groups as echo chambers, believe it or not. The difference is how the groups handles outside interference though. Here we are allowing discussion, while we are banned on sight in your groups. Most of the things men complain about is pretty obvious and reasonable, most feminists know it too, but deem men’s issues less significant than women’s, therefore not worthy of their time. Just to name an example and since the Texas abortion law scandal is hot right now, let’s…

I know it’s false alarm. I’m mostly shocked about how quick the entire country and feminism is to act on women’s reproductive rights being stripped away, when they’ve been turning a blind eye to men’s lack of the same for I don’t know how many years.

response to comments and my own take on things: The anti abortion law in Texas is definitely fucked up, I stand behind that sentiment and I support pro choice 100%. - which is why I think it’s hilarious how everybody neglects the fact that men have absolutely zero reproductive rights in ANY state. It’s up to the woman to decide and for the man to pay up, if SHE chooses to keep the child. But you are denying us when you're pushing a narrative of only women's safety being jeopardized when going outside alone at night, then shutting us down when we're saying that it in fact isn't. Look at your first message. Me: "I was challenging the narrative 'women can’t walk alone outside at night, therefor men are privileged' " You: "The thing is, men ARE privileged for this and a lot more stuff, you believe it or not, but it's facts." When I'm saying that men are leading in said statistics, it's not equivalent to women not being victims of said crimes, but a counterargument to "women cannot walk alone at night because there's a predator on every corner, men are so privileged", because statistics say otherwise. Both genders are in danger of being assaulted, none more than the other, just different kinds of assaults. I'm not DENYING your victimhood, I'm arguing for men's right to be part of it, but you and other feminists are d…

Don't you think it's hypocritical to ban every opposing standpoint in your sub, then come to us afterwards and do the exact same thing? I've not read your rules tbh, but bending your perception of what's weird based on rules is weird by itself. I don't necessarily think every rule of every sub is justified or right, it's more of a moral standpoint for me. If I deny others the right to do XYZ, I don't go to other subs and do XYZ.

But it's statistically incorrect unless you genuinely believe that rape is the only problem and getting robbed, stabbed, shot, and beaten senselessly is nothing to worry about. The only thing I agree with is that men are the primary perpetrators, but that fact doesn't mean jackshit when men are targets too and in a large number of cases (77% to 23% homicide male/female rate). I've never denied that rape is an issue, but when you're taking a patent on victimhood, it's where you lose me. In realit…

That’s some next level hypocrisy. The post OP ‘barged in on’ only existed in the first place because one of yours started arguing in our sub and posted evidence of it. At least debate. Calling us misogynists and incels pretty much tells me that you’ve no solid arguments. Besides, I was being respectful and admitting to women’s issues such as rape being a problem. Although, I was challenging the narrative “women can’t walk alone outside at night, therefor men are privileged” by stating that rape isn’t the ONLY freaking kind of assault happening and it’s statistically false. It’s actually surprising to see so many “misogynists” willingly letting feminists speak, even though they already have a booming loud voice and sympathy from society at large. I guarantee that they wouldn’t show us the same courtesy.

I got banned too. People that are challenging their ideology is apparently not welcome there, while they’re allowed to freely roam around here. - which is fine, I don’t mind. Having discussions is healthy even if both sides disagrees with eachother.

How many times have we heard about women feeling unsafe and scared of walking outside at night? I honestly always found it ironic how feminists are using the rape statistics, without looking at assault rates as whole. Men are the ones that statistically should be scared, not women, but feminism doesn’t talk about that. I guess data that aren’t victimizing women is considered irrelevant, especially if men turns out to be the actual victims.

What a garbage husband. I’m even tempted to say garbage human being. People like that exists in both genders though. Somehow the FDS sub twists it into being “man behaviour”
/r/AntiFeminists27/09/21 07:37 AM
8

No, the difference here is that we’re not hating anyone for being born woman. FDS on the other hand only has 1 purpose; hate speech against men. Every time they refer to something, it’s always a generalisation of every man on the planet. We are not targeting genitals, we target an ideology. Following an ideology is a choice, gender isn’t. That’s a massive difference.
/r/AntiFeminists27/09/21 06:24 AM

Personally, I'm neither pro nor con, I'm on the fence about that one. I don't really like hate speech, but I see the issue with prohibiting free speech. So I've landed on the conclusion that as long as we're all held to the same standards, I'll be happy, but we're not. - and the double standards are not exclusively occurring between gender. In another comment, I talked briefly about the n-word. I understand that the n-word can be degrading to black people and I'm all in for banning the use of it…

You don’t even have to refer to a subreddit. That logic exists outside of the internet too. This might be an unpopular opinion, but this reminds me of the n-word. I completely understand if black people find it degrading and racist, but the hypocrisy begins when black people use the n-word themselves in their day to day vocabulary. If it’s truly degrading and racist, everybody should stop using it entirely. Having these double standards of ‘A’ being allowed to, while ‘B’ isn’t, is racist by itse…

That’s a misconception. This sub is not dedicated to hating on women, but feminism. In FDS, the rules explicitly says “BAN ALL MEN”, while this sub doesn’t. OP and several other females is a proof of just that.
/r/AntiFeminists27/09/21 12:13 AM

I’m not sure why “dating strategy” is even included in the name of the sub tbh. I’m not active in the sub, but from what I’ve read, it doesn’t seems like they’re into men… at all. A majority of the women in there would probably prefer if men went extinct. Perhaps that’s what it is about. - finding a strategy on female/female reproduction

If I’m not mistaken, white males are probably the only accepted targets for hate speech. Anything else is either racism, sexism or both.
/r/AntiFeminists26/09/21 11:53 PM

I have no idea why FDS haven’t been closed a long time ago. The entire sub is nothing but hate speech against men. If we replicated the content of FDS but reversed the genders, I bet the sub wouldn’t last more than a couple of days before it’d be flagged and removed.

I agree with the entirety of your comment. I’m not good at articulating my thoughts (not native English speaker), but it essentially sums up my my main frustrations. According to modern feminism, men have to be the only oppressors in history that went to war, did all the hard labor and prioritized the lives of their subjects over their own (women and kids first)
/r/AntiFeminists24/09/21 12:11 AM

There are definitely women who supports men’s rights, (I appreciate you) but in my experience it’s not a sizeable percentage, but a small minority. Perhaps it’s a case of a loud minority drowning out the rest, but it honestly feels like most women doesn’t see the hypocrisy and sexism of feminism. Not that they’re necessarily against men’s rights, but they’re in on the narrative that women are still somewhat oppressed and men being somewhat privileged.

I agree that men and women are different, never argued against that logic. But in sports where skill triumphs over physical strength (Archery for example), I don’t understand why we’re still differentiating between gender. - Especially when we allow people with hearing impairment to vs. others who’re literally missing 3 limbs. Gender just seems a bit insignificant in comparison. But women don’t want to compete against men, even in disciplines that aren’t biologically favoring men. I think that’s…

Chess is an Olympic discipline along with Bridge and Checkers. But even if those tabletop games weren’t Olympic disciplines, there are still plenty of traditional sports that doesn’t really favor strength over skill. (Golf, Curling, Archery etc) Regarding the Paralympics, there’ll be some grey areas for sure, but in most cases it’s pretty obvious. A man whose only disability is hearing impairment isn’t really at a disadvantage in 50m backstroke vs. regular competitors, therefor he should compete…

People with irrelevant disabilities shouldn’t compete in the Paralympics. If you’re competing in table tennis with a missing finger in your non dominant hand, you’re still disabled, but your disability is not a disadvantage in your discipline. As long as it isn’t a hindrance, I don’t see why you shouldn’t compete in the regular competitions. It’s true that men and women aren’t physically equal, but I really find it hard to justify the division of gender with the argument of “fair play", when we'…

Haha, I'm not sure we're on the same page here. It's not a woman, the commenter is literally me. I'm not sure why you're getting downvotes, because you're right. The first movements actually did fight for equality, but modern feminists are (ab)using the massive voice and sympathy this day. Honestly, I unironically think that 4th and 5th wave feminism is equivalent to toddlers telling war stories about Vietnam as if they experienced it on their own bodies.

The ability to giving birth isn't really a 'set of skills' regardless, so I don't believe it would count anyway. Women generally excel at multitasking and are generally more emotional, thus more empathetic. But ye, without being misogynistic, men generally have a larger set of tools as we've historically been providers, leaders, and whatnot, while women have stayed home taking care of the kids. But bottom line, we're stuck with eachother and we better learn to embrace it, instead of waging war. …

What… ”The fact that women can’t go out at night without being fearful is a great example” That sentence gave me ligma. It’s true that men are leading perpetrators, but not by the margin she claims it to be. She probably only looked up rape statistics, because men are way more likely to be victims of any other sort of violence and assault, it’s not even close. If anything, MEN should be fearful of going outside at night.

You’re right, men are often labelled as creeps when doing the exact same thing. I still find it commendable of her to act out of her “gender role”. Most women still has the idea that it’s the mans responsibility by default.

I can see your point of view, as the reverse would not be accepted in any shape or form. But to be honest, I personally never had an issue with these sort of things. Just make all restrooms unisex. If you have to take a dump, it’s stilly not being able to use available toilets because of gender.

Not truly win, but at least the court is on his side. In terms of career cancellations, the best he can hope for is to break even. It’s so sad that cases of domestic violence, rape etc. against women are largely treated as guilty until proven innocent, where any other crime follows the correct order of operation. The damage has already been done and even when she gets a sentence, it’s guaranteed to be way more lenient even though it’s a double crime (false allegation and domestic violence)

I have an inherent faith in humanity as a whole to see and follow logic, that’s why it’s insane to me that people support 4th & 5th wave feminists that speaks with the voice of the 1st and 2nd movement as if their situation is one and the same. Johnny Depp is definitely winning, so she’ll eventually get some kind of punishment. It just baffles me how much injustice there is towards men, while the world tries to portray us a the ‘privileged gender’ and women as oppressed. It’s just weird to me. Historically men and women have had different tasks, that’s why our bodies and brains are built differently. It’s not really a hard concept to understand. I guess it’s just too much to expect from people that bounces between arguments like “women are just as strong as men” to “we are fragile women”, depending on where the argument is beneficial to their case. He probably did have a drinking problem and perhaps he wasn’t the ideal husband either, but that’s besides the point. The main problem here is that Amber did not only falsely accuse him of hitting her, she was in fact the perpetrator. While the mere accusations was enough to “sabotage” Johnny Depps career, her career is unaffected by it all even after the truth got out.

For sure! Johnny Depp had definite proof of his innocence and large amount of cash to hire a good lawyer. I doubt the story would have had a happy ending for a regular dude. Even though he eventually got his ‘justice’, he’s still missing out on his biggest role as Jack Sparrow because of this whole ordeal, while Amber Heards career has been completely unaffected by this case. Men just can’t truly win, only damage control.

I’m not sure if you’re sarcastic, maybe I’m misunderstanding your point. Obviously nobody expects a lawsuit, but considering all the campaigns about rape culture and the gender wage-gap etc, the least feminist groups can do is fight for men’s right to choose whether they want to participate and possibly die in a war, since they’re all about equality. If not fight for it, at least admit to having their own set of privileges, instead of living in a bubble of ‘men are the privileged gender’.
