Years ago I really wanted to identify myself as a feminist, but as time went on, I started to realize that feminism isn't about equality - as they've led the world to believe. All I see now is a movement that takes advantage of the momentum built over the years by actually oppressed women, to yell about the smallest inconveniences. Even though women have largely reached a point of equality (arguably supremacy) in regards to social and systemic rights and privileges, it's not enough.

The current hot topic is about Texas 'revoking' women's rights by banning abortion. While I'm pro-choice and free abortion, I just cannot stop myself from cringing a bit. Women pretty much EVERYWHERE solely decide whether a man becomes a father or not regardless of his wishes, without men being offered an option to opt-out of fatherhood and its responsibilities. Where's the uproar, where's the support for men to have a choice? it's nowhere. But when 1 state is stripping women of the right to opt-out of parenthood, the entire world goes apeshit.

The argument towards men not wanting to become a dad is usually something like "you should have worn a condom" and "don't put your dick in if you can't take responsibility" etc., so why is it misogynistic to revert the argument and say "maybe you shouldn't spread your legs" to women who wants an abortion. To me, it's the same freaking argument. If men are supposed to "take responsibility", the same applies to women, no?

I'm so tired of men being expected to accept abuse from women because we are 'physically stronger' and if we dare to fight back, we're the one at fault. The world is just observing men's lives getting ruined by false accusations of rape and abuse, while there are next to no consequences for the women getting caught in their lie. Even if the court is using the right order of operation, it doesn't even matter. Look at Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case. Johnny lost his reputation and jobs by the accusation alone. Then it turns out she had not only falsely accused him, but faked bruises on herself and actually been the perpetrator, still she’s not being treated half as bad as when Johnny Depp was merely accused. (I still believe she has her role in Aquaman, SMH)

The oppression of women back in the day has turned into a privilege for women now. Even though none of the women who benefits from it today ever experienced oppression, the past is holding a caring hand above their heads. They're using the past as an argument for today and it bothers me so much. The way they use 1st and 2nd waves momentum to blame men and 'the patriarchy' is equivalent to blaming german toddlers for the holocaust. Men of this age are not oppressors, but we are being treated as such. Men will probably remain the villains for a long time and I doubt anything will change for the better in my lifetime.

To any woman who reads through all this, I love women(most women), but sometimes I feel like I'm all alone in a world that embraces feminism and its sexism towards men.

Sorry about the rant, I just felt the need to vent a bit, as I have nobody to talk to about this without everybody turning on me and trying to put my head on a stake.
