I used to, but that was for the 1st year, but now I got so much going on because I'm focused on myself rather than a guiding a needy leach. Get busy broda, make that money, enjoy life, DONT GET RE-MARRIED. There isnt anything in marriage that you can't do outside of marriage.

Not to sure, consult with a male lawyer. Also it would help if she is employed when the divorce happens

we went out about 5 times on all occasions I covered the bill not even an attempt by her to help with any, and on 2 occasions she needed to get some stuff for work of which as it was a new job and her having kid expenses I chipped in half.

LMFAO... Nah that hatred will help you see the BS of a majority of women. It will protect you and help you stand your ground on morals and principals that define your personality.

Yep unfollow her, also start preparing yourself for finding out she moved on. In preparing myself for this, I started dreaming about it, and waking up with anxiety attacks.

Nah, I had a blast getting ready for work and relaxing at home while knowing I spent my time wisely as we have so little of it and means a lot to me. Your presumptuousness says a lot about you. I'm divorced hence where this is posted.

I'm not saying all women, but a majority. A few times she made reference to that she had to get her nails or other stuff done. Yet she didnt consider me putting out money for some small sititutations but something like this which I value my time, not just the time to spend with her, but the time it would take me to get to the wedding a I lived further away and then to gt back home, all on a sunday night before work.

I did what I always do on a Sunday before work on a Monday, prepare for a job that pays exceptionally well that she did enjoy the perks of and had no issues when indulging in.

And it seems u lack comprehension, she was not part of the wedding party. she was a normal guest. Factor of her friend not being considerate of other people's time. is what caused the whole incident. Seems that u think because you are with someone you should bend over and compromise your principals.

It takes time, but while its fresh with you, the easiest thing would be to distract yourself. I started working out at home and lost about 30lbs. Find something that drains your energy so that when you lay down your body will force your mind to fall asleep. It takes time and realization that you are better off. Don't beat yourself up, the only Constant is Change. Women want a wedding but ignore the commitment of marriage. They then preach and applaud eachother of how to justify leaving. " I will…

I feel ya bro. Everytime I come on here and read a majority of these I fear women more and more. I don't ever want to get remarried. Is an open marriage an option?
/r/Divorce_Men30/10/23 01:06 AM

Ask the guy out-right. But consider that she may marry that guy and then he'd be a father figure to your kid. If that happens a conversation has to happen and ensure the kid is put first, in aspect of teaching and growing up. At this point its about the kid, not an ego or overthinking it.

Not only sitcoms bro, I've not seen it yet and I intend too(stream), Barbie movie was the same. This is not your anger stage. It is reality and as you date and meet more women a lot (not all) will be like that.
/r/Divorce_Men06/08/23 07:55 PM

Yea date, but I have NO intention of ever getting re-married. I'm alright have a serious relationship thou even with a divorced woman (who initiated) I initiated my divorce, she cheated, then left and had no intentions of coming back so I did the logical thing which was best for me.

I used to do that in my marriage but I stopped ( i compared her to my mom in terms of how my mom used to be able to handle things ) . I wanted my ex to do better but that wasnt the way to do it. But I came to realize we are all different people and we all have limitations etc. From what u said, you are doing your best, you are not a God with supernatural powers etc. She sounds unappreciative. If a conversation has already happened and she is still the same way, then LET HER GO. I'm inclined to s…

This is actually great advice, I'm 30 and dnt really have much dating experience. I got married at 24, divorced at 28. I'll use this, not gt overly invested in the first 7 months. I felt for her cuz i know how it was to be hurt. So I hence i gave her so much of me. Not again.

That last paragraph is what men are expected to do but then are taken for granted by the very women we do it for. It will be okay my friend, the loneliness will come and go. i've found things to do that take up my time and better me. A lot of women out there are toxic feminist, so be careful who you let in your life.

U right bro... i havnt gotten too involved, so im gonna pull back. The first day when seeing and being with her after i dropped her home, i felt sad knowing what she is going tru and also leaving the care that she showed me while hanging out. Then got home felt a bit lost but then got into my own stuff and felt normal.

Together for 6 years total (2 dating, 4 married) She left May 2021, Divorce finalized Feb 2022. I went cold turkey in Aug 2021, worked on myself since and then started looking into dating in Feb 2022. I never been in the dating world and its exhausting. I do not live in the US and the dating pool seems ever so small especially that I have little friends and Im introverted in a social life. I have been trying to change that.

Thank you my dude. Tough luv is always tru... She has not changed or worked on her self im seeing the same old things and traits. indecisiveness, procrastination, ho-ish ways, lack of discipline. She loved me with her all and i take my blame for neglecting her which led to the divorce, i'll not go back to her. She didnt seek anything in the divorce and she is a good person but her personality and traits are not something that I want in my life, it does not match who i am.
/r/Divorce_Men24/07/22 07:51 PM

Correct, thing is my ex was my first gf/wife. SO all my life/relationship experience was with her. The chick i went out with litterally said she was looking for someone who was not divorced, i was like but at our age thats near impossible.

Oh ur on point with regards to LTR, im not looking for that at all. Also the simple dates yea. In terms of the dating pool, where im from its a small population 1.3M people and in todays culture and social media women have huge egos and i just cnt deal with that. Its rare to find someone simple.

Hey Boys, just checking in. hope yall doing better. I've been great, learnt a few things about her that hurt a bit but reassured me she is an idiot and not for me and that I deserve better. I've been talking to a few women, nothing serious, but to realize there are women out there who are amazing and I always taught I would never have the confidence to talk to them. So keep your heads up dudes and keep the struggle alive, we'll get tru this.

If I could hug you I would. Thank you brother. Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts. And yes, when your son is informed I too wish it crushes her. I've come to realize that nothing a man does will ever suffice. I will never get remarried, rather have a life companion, who know, understands and accepts why i have made that decision and even more so if she wants the same. Again I thank you for your support and everyone else here as well, we men truly only have each others support.

Recently started dreaming her and waking up with anxiety and shaking. I got so annoyed by it I called her and basically said I do not wish u well and that I ain't going to do you anything but KARMA or The Universe will do it, so when it happens remember this conversation. She hung up on me and called my mom saying I nagging her. My friend who is also separated wrote this, and it on the negative side but after reading it a few times its motivating towards making sure u remind yourself of reality. Its goes like this; "You are worthless in everyone's eyes, you are lazy and will never measure up, everyone is better than you, you are stupid. Shut Up, Stop Faking. Go to Work." Yikes. Those are the reasons I do not believe in religion, but that there is a God/Being/Universe/Energy. Cuz the claim most religions have that we are to serve or else going to hell sounds like slavery where if u do not serve, you will be beaten. A friend of mines, in talking about my sititutation said, dont worry about pastors or priests. They usually would want to council you after they did all these things like cheat, drugs etc. Then they look down on you, only you know how and what you feel…
