Yes, this was the same for me. Cleaned my house, threw out the garbage(3 trucks) made dinner and sat at the table to eat in peace for the first time in 20 years.

I'm the one who put the kids in counseling after the face punching incident, (and continuously for the last year) I'm also the one that has paid for the lawyer that is setting up the GAL. I am definitely doing everything in my kids best interest, and mine as well. I agree, it's not supposed to matter who pays for things and sets things up, but people see that you've done the things and it does matter.

I guess it depends on how old your kids are, get your kids in counseling. Your kids will tell the counselor some of the horrible things and of any physical abuse. The counselor will be forced to report her to the state because of mandatory reporting. It's good to have a third party report the physical abuse. It worked for me.

If you don't have children, just move out and never go back. Pay a lawyer to unravel your divorce. Sounds like a super unhealthy relationship. I know from experience.

Oh, that would be a super long reply but I'll try to keep it short. She blocks them from having friends. She controls them and all of their free time and doesn't let them have their own options. The younger one who's 13 she punched in the face like a year ago. We had department of family counseling up in our ass for 18 weeks. She yells at everybody she screams at everybody. She doesn't lift a finger around the house and expects everyone else to do everything for her including the kids. Ect...

Have your ex and kids over for dinner on Wednesday. Your ex gets a meal without doing anything out of it. And your kids get to see you at least on Wednesday. That's what I offered my ex. Me and her have the opposite parenting plan that you do during the school year.

Woman quits her job to become a stay-at-home wife/leach.... Talks about how easy life is cuz she only has to do 2 hours of work per day. Edit. Sorry I left out the part where they have no children.

I have 2 teen boys 100%. ... I drive them to school at 7am and pickup at 4pm ish . I keep my house close to spotless and make dinner every night. I average 1.5 hour of cleaning/cooking per day. This shit easy. Edit: I work from 730 to 4pm, single dad.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
