Halfway through the divorce. I filed. I have 75% custody until the divorce is settled which is going to take a long time. Currently doing the mediation thing which is fruitless but I keep going back to make it take longer. I figure I have 75% so why not drag this out. My two boys 13 1/2 and 15 1/2. Can't stand their mom. After mediation the next stop would be guardian ad litem. Anyone had any experience with those guardians? It's kind of the only way I can get my boys to have a say in the whole thing.

For me though, as soon as I was able to get her to move out life became really calm and pleasant. I was able to unhorder my house. I cleaned my house. I have everything organized and in its place. Life is really simple and no one has to yell at anyone over stupid stuff. I have started to make a few friends and even have some friends over to the house which was not allowed previously because of all the arguments. My main goal now is just to try to make friends for myself and have more people in my life. Anyone in the South Kansas City area want to hang? 😁
