I agree with that. I aim for 4-6k calories/day and although I liked the high fat/high protein diet (stuck to that pretty religiously for about a year) I had to reintroduce more carbs in the form of brown ride and fruit in order to hit my caloric goals and have access to quick energy. Also occasionally eat things like potatoes, nuts, dry oats. But no bullshit and no sugar.

When I think about healthcare systems and costs (universal healthcare, private healthcare, whatever), I always consider how much cheaper it could potentially be if smoking and obesity were eliminated.
