I absolutely love this so much for one simple reason: No matter how much the people commenting on Facebook hate him, no matter how much they insult and belittle him or call him a narcissistic sociopath, he's the one having sex with attractive women as much as he wants, whenever he wants. And no matter what they say, they know they can never take that away from him, and it must ignite their fury with the passion of a thousand burning Suns.

Note the amount of comments on the photo: 55K+, compared to what appears to be an average of 2-8K on others. RP is a cultural flashpoint when it makes its way into the mainstream.

Despite the fact that “the red pill/getting redpilled” seems to be tossed around more frequently than ever (at least in the Trumpian era—and even then, there are distinctions to be made between ‘redpilled’ in the political context vs Game/philosophical context, though there is naturally some overlap), its audience is still limited to a fraction of a percentage of the population. The vast majority of people do not use the internet for anything outside of a few social media superhighways where most ideas are prepackaged and sanitized for the herd (think Facebook, Instagram, default Reddit front page).

I mention this because after an initially uncomfortable period of immersion, there are now many RP precepts I take for granted because they align so seamlessly with reality. I forget that people are not watching life unfold through the same eyewear prescription. It’s always more amusing than expected when anyone from RP/PUA/Manosphere strays into the scrutinizing gaze of the commons. The reactions to RP/PUA are so visceral, and the intensity with which they admonish apostates coincides with the evolution of outrage/callout culture coupled with feminism/MeToo.

To illustrate for fun, a mini-timeline of public, high-visibility PUA features:

[2005] Neil Strauss on Jimmy Kimmel to promote the release of The Game (I believe Mystery made it onto a talkshow or two as well, and even had a short-run pickup series on cable). Pretty good-natured, people not entirely sure what to think, but ultimately pretty well-received at the time.

[2008?] Paul Janka found his way into the national spotlight, appearing Dr. Phil and The Today Show where he gets “cross-examined” by guest psychologists (weedy little Jewish man in the first link, homely liberal academe in the second). Janka has strong frame, good looks, smooth persona, and is not quite as blunt explaining his perspectives as the anonymous FB profile featured in the main post. Even with less-than-flattering lead-ins, he appears relaxed, deflects well, and you get the sense that he wins over at least some of the crowd. Mixed reception.

[2014] Julien Blanc on CNN, after these clips went viral. This event was far and away more ‘serious’ and the reactions were insane, getting him banned for life from Australia, the UK, and Singapore. Almost entirely negative reception. RSD has also deleted tons of their earlier, more Game-y videos and has pivoted towards more generic self-improvement.

I also recall Jordan Peterson (who I would categorize as pretty BP/neutral) mentioning something offhand about hypergamy from a strictly academic standpoint and getting lambasted for a few weeks. Last year or the year before.

TLDR: With the current trajectory of western culture, the content on this site becomes more heretical yet more applicable & effective with each passing year.

If a woman makes herself more attractive (ie. manipulates a man, with fake hair, fake eye lashes, fake boobs, make-up, bras, high-heels), it's okay. If you condemn a woman for sleeping around, you're slut-shaming and bad.

But if a man makes himself more attractive (ie. manipulates a woman by learning what to say at the right moment) it's wrong. The fact that women are seduced more by the way you present yourself and by leading the interaction, and less by how sexy you look (as is the case for men) is beyond them. And if you condemn a man for sleeping around, it's not player-hating but protecting society from somebody that has the potential to shoot up a movie theater.

This guy's story is a good example of where TRP and PUA part ways. It's right at the end when he says, in effect, "I might hurting people but I don't care. A lot of people have hurt me". Alarm bells ring. No frame. Despite supposedly having 1000 numbers in his phone he still views this as an act of vengeance. Some of the comments are pretty accurate in calling him out on this. No one hurt this guy. He hurt himself because he didn't understand the rules or the game. Likewise he isn't hurting women by connecting with their feelz. He has expanded his consciousness of male-female interactions and he is using this to his benefit. Good for him. But TRP goes a lot further than that. And, as always, having frame trumps almost all else. This guy doesn't have frame. He views himself as a victim who has figured out the system.
