The big dicks were painful and I couldn’t wait to get it over with. The one small guy was sweet and a great kisser, so no, not awful at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 11:15 PM
2

The ones that were too big/painful, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:57 PM

Well, duh, in that case.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 05:11 PM

Define "new".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 05:00 PM

Men not being able to get into relationships. How else would one describe that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:54 PM
5

I tried 8" and I couldn't even get the tip in.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:53 PM

Because IME the men who are not as well endowed are self-aware enough to acknowledge this and focus their efforts on non-PIV activities. They make better lovers because they focus on pleasing a woman. Big dick guys think their dick does all the work for them. (Hint: it doesn't)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:51 PM
5

You let the opinion of one woman affect you so much? We're all different. Just sayin'. I know it's a hard concept to grasp.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:47 PM

"Relationship crisis" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:44 PM
3

I agree, those are the best. But I need to be deeply emotionally involved with a man for PIV orgasms to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:43 PM

I do enjoy a good fingering (with only ONE finger). Sometimes more than oral. Tongue on my clit and one finger on my g-spot will send me into orbit. No dick needed :)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:36 PM
7

That sounds like a you problem. The one partner I had who was so fucking insecure about his dick size was not for lack of reassurance on my part. It was exhausting.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:31 PM
5

I mean, I think I'm in the minority in some respects, because when I tell a new partner "only one finger, please" when they finger me, they sometimes seem confused. Like, two fingers is not pleasant for me ever. Just need one! Also better to hit the g-spot that way IME.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:27 PM
6

Any reply that doesn't conform to their perceived misconceptions; we're either liars or an outlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:07 PM
8

Your perfect size is probably not my perfect size. This is something men refuse to grok.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:05 PM
2

If that's how you want to interpret what I said, then by all means, IDGAF. IME, men who have been obsessed about their size watched too much porn and were exposed to unrealistic expectations. And yet again, if anybody body shames anybody else, regardless of gender and/or body part, they're an asshole. I don't associate with people who do such a thing. I recommend you shouldn't either.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:54 PM
4

Men always support each other? GMAFB. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:49 PM
5

I'm sure there are women out there who are assholes. I don't hang out with those kind of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:47 PM
2

I said I don't do that (nor any woman I know). Clearly I wouldn't be hanging out with your ex-girlfriend, because she sounds like an asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:46 PM
4

Anybody who body shames other people is an asshole. That's it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:41 PM
3

We have one of those pinned to the top of AskWomenNoCensor.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:21 PM
17

That's bullshit. I've never commented on a man's size. Porn is the reason men feel inadequate because it's unrealistic (made by men for men). Your take is of the "terminally online" flavor.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:17 PM
9

Except for men who make it their entire identity, and trust me: that’s not a positive or attractive trait. This. I broke up with a man because of his constant insecurity about his size (no matter how many times I reassured him). His attitude became really toxic and it ultimately led to the demise of the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:00 PM
13

If they're above average, they hit my cervix and it hurts and/or it stretches me out too much and it hurts. Simple. Since you seem to be so obsessed with size, I just measured my favorite toy. It's 4".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 02:28 PM
3

Just for funsies, I went back and looked on the website. This is the one. I hopped aboard the NOPE train so fast once I saw it in person and held it in my hands.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 02:25 PM
7

Also: women aren't the only ones using dildos ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 02:07 PM
6

I also have a huge range of toys in all kinds of sizes, a set my husband brought had a truly massive one that I can’t use. Reminds me of this one time I bought a dildo off of a website solely based on the description "most popular". IIRC, it was 8". I took that thing out of the package and said to myself: "Nope, that thing isn't going anywhere near my vagina. Too big. Nope." It went straight into the trash. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 02:02 PM
7

Fat chance! lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:54 PM
11

I've never taken a ruler to any man's dick, so I can't give you a number.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:52 PM
31

The big ones? Yes, they hurt! The one that was "too small", I couldn't feel inside of me. Give me average dick all day and night.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:50 PM

I honestly don't know why they do it. If they're faking it to get attention, I think it's pathetic. It annoys the crap out of me when men assume I can't lift things and pretend to be chivalrous or use it as an excuse to hit on me. If I need help, I can use my words and ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:49 PM
21

have you actually experienced both a very large and a very small penis before Yes and yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:38 PM
4

Again, are we pretending that women have had no role in "bigger is better?" Blame porn for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 10:24 PM
2

Just women? How far off of the subject can you get? 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 10:10 PM
7

They won’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 09:54 PM
3

It makes them better equipped to communicate. IME (as stated previously)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 09:47 PM
6

IME people who are more educated can communicate and regulate their emotions better. Which is #1 in my book for a successful relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 08:56 PM
3

And no, it isn't because we are threatened by intelligent women. It's because a woman's degree has zero impact on how good of a partner she will be. Yes, you* are and yes, it does. *generic you
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 08:28 PM
3

Touch grass, dude. The real world isn’t TikTok videos.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 08:08 PM

We know men have fewer standards. This isn’t exactly news.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 07:55 PM

You go to college to get an education. If your vocabulary is at an eighth grade level, that’s a huge turn off.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 07:52 PM
1

I turned off my DMs because of too many pervs contacting me. That wasn’t my point, but whatever. You do you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:17 PM
3

Kindness is the reason I fell in love with my boyfriend, even though he wasn’t my type physically (at first).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:08 PM
1

Anyway. You're one of those, apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 09:21 PM

Not the person I was asking, but ok. Whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 09:20 PM

Lack of your EQ confirmed by this. Stay mad, bro. IDGAF.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:18 PM

Women aren’t going to stop using makeup because of your feefees. You’re just looking to blame your dating woes on something external. Build a bridge and get over it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 04:51 PM
1

Non sequitur says what?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 04:19 PM
3

Dude. Makeup has been around for literally thousands of years. It's also a multi-billion dollar industry. But go on.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 03:53 PM
2

I was asking what your end goal is here. What's the point of this rant?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 03:36 PM
2

Every single woman isn't wearing makeup. HTH
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 03:34 PM
3

I propose due to makeup specifically So what's your angle here? Outlaw makeup? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 03:28 PM
1

This old chestnut again? Really? lol Women have been wearing makeup since Ancient Egypt.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 12:49 PM
18

First off: "jealous rage" ... LMAO. There are a few things wrong with this scenario. I don't shit where I eat (getting involved with a coworker is a no). If that's who he picks over me, then that's his choice. You can't force someone to be with you, no matter how much you might want that scenario. So, what would the purpose of getting upset about it be? Just wasted energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 12:20 PM
1

Clearly not.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 11:15 PM
2

What the hell is this guy smoking?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 08:56 PM
1

You replied to me and then deleted it before I could respond.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 08:54 PM

And you’re a man which means your orgasm was pretty much guaranteed. I wonder if your partners recall those experiences equally “wonderful”. I’d bet my house that they don’t reminisce about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 05:21 PM
3

My parents were immigrants Then you’re just a garden variety hypocrite. (Nice attempt at a dirty delete.)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:41 PM

How many ONS have you had?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 01:11 PM
1

And now onto the second part, casual sex is way too dismissed. So, how many ONS have you had?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 12:42 PM
6

So? Unless you have Native American blood, your ancestors were immigrants. What's wrong with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 12:26 PM
3

When I'm not in a relationship, yes! Absolutely.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 12:47 AM
9

If being single and celibate is perfectly fine for some women though, having a low libido partner would be functionally the same in terms of sex. Being single and celibate is fine. That doesn't mean I'm not getting myself off regularly. It just means I'm not having sex with a partner. So no, it's not functionally the same. If I'm in a relationship, I want our libidos to be somewhat matched. I'm high libido.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 12:45 AM

I don’t think it sounds true at all. If you’re incapable of thinking for yourself, that is disturbing to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:35 PM
2

That sounds like a “them” problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:40 PM
14

Yeah, I broke up with a guy once because he couldn’t understand that how a man treats me outside of the bedroom directly affects my libido (read: willingness to fuck him). And I’m horny 24x7.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:37 PM
2

In other news: water is wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:33 PM
23

How is it a gotcha? Sexual compatibility is important in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:32 PM
6

Because sex is important in a relationship. And yes, I absolutely would rather be single than in a bad relationship. What kind of question is this even?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:27 PM

Source?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:24 PM

Why do you care so much about other people’s reproductive choices? Curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 04:23 PM
30

My parents were 20 (mother) and 21 (father) when I was born. Yes, I wish they had been older. They were far too emotionally immature to raise a child properly.

Virtue signaling pure and simple.

You didn't answer my question. How many times have you been cold approached?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 07:17 PM
1

Style and accessories are conscious choices that would qualify as personality. How do you know she doesn't have a stylist who picks out these things for her? (Hint: You don't.) You do know they still make hardback and paperback books. They make them, sure, but who reads hardback books in public anymore? Dancing and hustling in a special way indeed does make you special and is a personality/behavioral trait. Yeah, you see their body moving = appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 07:11 PM
1

I don't know how you got that impression.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 06:48 PM
-3

Funny how these sort of videos you describe don't show up on my feed. At all. If it were so ubiquitous as you claim, you would think I would see the same amount. No? So, yes, it's your algo.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:51 PM
-3

I fully acknowledge that domestic violence exists and is not a gendered thing. But if you're being inundated with such videos, that's a you problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:34 PM
3

A good start would be referring to us as women and not "females". HTH
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:30 PM

accessory = appearance style = appearance she's dancing with rhythm = tells you absolutely nothing about her personality she's reading a good book = if you're getting close enough to see what I'm reading on my Kindle, that's fucking creepy she's helping a child tie their shoes = utterly banal and tells you nothing about her other than she knows how to tie shoes lol she's laughing in an adorable way = tells you nothing about her There's more to what women are than physical appearance. It's unfort…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:25 PM
2

Duh, of course not 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:08 PM
2

her unique grace, style, vibe, interesting accessory, communication-style, behavior, etc. that you find intriguing? How do you know any of these things by just looking at a woman for 5 seconds before you decide to cold approach?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 04:40 PM
1

it was sparked by the sheer number of videos I’ve seen online where women are full-on hitting their boyfriends Fix your algorithm, dude. You're falling for rage bait.

Apples vs. oranges.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 09:39 PM

I’m not taxed less on my income because I’m a woman. So yeah, taxes are gender neutral. HTH Unless you can show me a tax table that differentiates between women and men, because the one I see on the IRS site doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 07:56 PM
2

Taxes are gender neutral and based on income, not what's between our legs.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 03:40 PM
2

As if women don't pay taxes? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 01:56 PM

This society let my body be mutilated as a baby Put the blame squarely on your parents for that one. They could've (and should have) declined circumcision.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 01:46 PM
2

But also, let’s stop framing getting a girlfriend as a reward for good behaviour Let's start with treating women as equals and not some prize to be won.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 12:09 PM
1

Yes it is true that you have more options nowadays if you just wanna fuck. Plenty of hoes out there. Fucked plenty seemingly way out of my league. That being said if you are looking for LTR or marriage material the choices are almost non existent. Social media and politics fucks with womens brains. The same can be said for the opposite sex. This is not a gendered thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 04:28 PM

You = generic you (men)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 12:11 AM

Good luck with that, mate 👍
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:56 PM
1

Yeah, I want them to pass a law so that I can lift as heavy as my male counterparts at the gym. Guess what? It’s never gonna happen. Sperm leaves his body. His choice is over. Sperm is now in her body, she decides what happens. How is this so hard to understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:52 PM
0

Once the sperm has left the man's body, he's not in control of it anymore. Game over.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:42 PM
-1

Biology isn't fair. This has been well-established. Every fucking time we have these "discussions". If only there were a method that could contain the sperm. Hmmmmm.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:36 PM
1

You. Are. Responsible. For. Your. Baby. Making. Batter.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:09 PM
3

Finally, you get it. Problem solved. Once the sperm is deposited, men’s choice is over.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 10:31 PM
2

Don't fuck women you don't trust. Simple as.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 04:22 PM
5

Consent to sex, and ejaculation is not consent to pregnancy. Wrong. You are consenting to the possibility of pregnancy when you decide where to deposit your sperm. End of story.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 04:20 PM
8

But if you’re clear from even before the existence of a pregnancy I don’t see why any man should be on the financial hook. He went raw. Fuck around and find out.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 12:51 PM
5

No, it really doesn't make sense to me, but I stopped caring about it and didn't ask any more questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 04:46 PM
15

Better get yourself an AI girlfriend, then. You can't control what your partner thinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:41 PM
19

Sure, so you're ok with her fantasizing about other men, just not other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:34 PM
34

As a straight man I want to be in a long term relationship with an actual straight woman who is just as attracted to me as I am to her but it seems like they are a minority. Even if you find such a woman, what makes you think she won't be attracted to other men? What's your hangup about this hypothetical woman finding other women attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:23 PM

That's what the Kinsey Scale is all about. It's been studied.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:12 PM

Nope. You're cooked.

Why is there one of these super defensive age gap posts every other day here. For the same reason there's one of those paternity testing posts in here every other day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 12:13 PM
-1

No it’s not. WTF?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 12:48 AM
13

but that ignores the real issue: in many places, they don’t even have the legal right to test their own child without the mother’s consent 5 out of 195 countries is not many.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 12:40 PM

... and why wouldn't we? :D
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 06:42 PM

It's really not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/25 04:28 PM

What are you, the comment police?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 08:33 PM

Of course you are going to cherry-pick whatever highlights your confirmation bias and ignore the rest. Typical. 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 12:25 AM

Which is why so many men don't bother reading profiles before swiping right and when confronted about that say: "I ain't got time for that!" https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/1iymzfk/ill_answer_the_why_dont_men_read_our_profiles/ This puts the mental workload on the women because the guy can't be arsed to read a bio while taking his morning dump. And we say: "No, thank you."
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 07:49 PM

Wtf dude just jackoff and shut up, it's not as complicated as you are making it out to be I'd like to give this more than one upvote.

?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 06:03 PM

That's your opinion and it affects my paycheck/bank account not one bit, so IDGAF.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 05:43 PM
4

Yeah, because it's bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 05:36 PM

If your intentions are to prove the hospital didn't switch babies on you, testing the MOTHER and the baby is proof enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 03:40 PM
6

Oh, boo hoo. You're "looked down upon"? Who gives a shit? Date you who want.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 03:26 PM
2

Don't waste your breath. He's convinced of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 03:24 PM
2

If you test the mother and the baby in case there's a swap at the hospital, you're not accusing her of infidelity. Just get it and don’t mention it Then what the hell was this post even about? Soothing your paranoia?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 03:16 PM
2

If that's your real concern (which it's not, but ok), you can test the mother. In the US, there are multiple fail-safes in place now to prevent that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 02:57 PM
1

If the baby’s swapped at the hospital is that infidelity? That doesn't happen anymore (at least in the US) and even if you really wanted to check for that, you can test the mother, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 02:45 PM
1

Believe what you want, since that's what you're going to do anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 02:39 PM
1

Yeah, I think you misread something. Like I said: relationship guy is hotter than hookup guy, because relationship guy is the whole package and not just occasional fun like the hookup guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 02:13 PM
5

confirms paternity not fidelity It's one and the same, buddy. You can't have one without the other. You can't "confirm paternity" without accusing your partner of infidelity. Just because you don't "accept the premise" doesn't mean it isn't so. You're not being logical.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 02:09 PM
2

So you agree that it's not MOST.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 01:00 AM
1

but most women regularly snoop through their husband’s phone. Source? Nobody I know does this.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 12:50 AM
2

YES, a paternity test IS an expression of distrust. So we agree. That was what my comment was about since OP stated he didn't understand why that was the case. In every thread on paternity testing there are invariably women arguing that unless a man has a good reason, a paternity test is an expression of distrust.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 12:32 AM
3

I don't know what country you live in, but in the U.S. the baby doesn't leave the delivery room without it and the mom getting matching ID bracelets. Baby switching is practically unheard of nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 12:01 AM
1

That doesn't answer my question.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:57 PM
8

I don’t accept the premise that undertaking a paternity test is an accusation of infidelity. As they say: Facts don't care about your feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:56 PM

Red herring, but ok. How is asking for a paternity test anything other than an expression of distrust?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:53 PM
7

This has to do with paternity tests, how?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:44 PM
10

If a women has a "go bag", she has doubts about her safety.* If a man wants a paternity test, he has doubts about her faithfulness. It's a wash in my book. (*aside from the fact that everybody should have a "go bag" if they live in an area that is prone to natural disasters)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:35 PM
2

They're just pointing out the incongruency between being "ok" with a paternity test, but not wanting anyone to find out about it as it would reflect poorly on her (in her opinion). I don't know where you're getting the idea that they're offended.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:30 PM

Those mean different things. This is certifiably whackadoodle.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:20 PM
6

Well, I'm glad that paternity tests exists to calm your paranoia, then?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:04 PM
2

Yeah, I agree ... it makes no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:00 PM
13

Can you not imagine a man who has 0 jealousy issues due to the paternity test? No. I cannot. Or if he wants one you imagine him to be more jealous in all scenarios? If the man I were to (hypothetically) have a baby with wanted a paternity test, I would take that as an accusation of infidelity.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:55 PM

Those type of women are also not trying to date me, so again, IDGAF about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:46 PM
16

I mean, I wouldn't date that type of guy, much less have a child with him. I had one unreasonably jealous boyfriend in this lifetime. That was enough. I don't know any woman (or man) who wouldn't take offense to being accused of being unfaithful for no reason. But you do you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:41 PM

I don't associate with those types of women, so IDGAF about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:34 PM
20

And if you inform your partner before you start conceiving that you'll be requiring a paternity test in case of pregnancy, then you're golden. But do I believe that a mentally sound man could want a paternity test in every single scenario where he’s informed he’s a father to a child? No, I do not. It's definitely a sign of paranoia.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:33 PM
18

What else is it other than an expression of distrust?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:29 PM
28

In every thread on paternity testing there are invariably women arguing that unless a man has a good reason, a paternity test is an expression of distrust. Duh. What else is it other than an expression of distrust? You want the test? You pay for it. If it's so simple, easy, and cheap, just do it. I honestly can't understand the handwringing you guys do around this. Unless you live in France, it's easy enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:24 PM
4

Dude. After seeing some of your responses I don't think there's any way to explain it to you that you'll understand. Maybe someone else will have the patience. I don't. I don't date or fuck men I'm not attracted to. They're either attractive to me, or not. My FwBs are attractive to me, and if they had the other qualities that I require for a relationship, we would be in a relationship. Being an FwB is a failure to reach those metrics for being a guy I want to be in a relationship with. Unless of…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:16 PM
3

🤦‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:10 PM
6

Nope. They're just not relationship material for whatever reason. FwB = attractive to me + compatible in the bedroom Relationship guy = attractive to me + compatible in and outside of the bedroom
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:04 PM
6

FwBs are not relationship material.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 08:22 PM
1

What part of "women don't just want a rando to stick their dick into them"* do you not understand? We don't need apps for that. I could go down to the local watering hole on any given night and get laid within the hour. However, my chances of actually reaching orgasm are 100 times higher with my vibrator. *no matter how attractive he thinks she is
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 07:04 PM
7

That's what Grindr is for.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 06:56 PM
3

Did you not see the /s? Men will fuck a warm loaf of bread and you wonder why women aren't falling over themselves because some rando thinks they're fuckable?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 05:44 PM
1

Yes, dating. As in: more than just a fuck. Humble awakening? WTF? All women know that "likes" on OLD are worth shit. That's why they ditch dating apps fairly quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 02:37 PM
2

I fired up FB dating just for fun yesterday and within a few hours I got plenty of "likes" to scroll through. One guy seemed great and his profile checked a lot of my boxes! Woohoo! Then I scroll down ... his response to the prompt "My goal for 2025:"? To have sex at least once. Really? You're going to lead with that? Total turnoff.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 02:23 PM
2

They trip up eventually.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 02:15 PM
11

This entire sub is full of men complaining about not having the dating and sexual lives they want. This is never taken as a reflection of their own "unrealistic standards," it's largely espoused as a reflection of women's. I have to say I'm terribly amused (but not surprised) at how many men ITT completely missed the point of your OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 01:28 PM

He didn't go on the dates that were arranged or move the messaging off the app to texting. That's usually when the mask comes off.

Are those the percentages du jour? It's like that "women only find 20% of men attractive" bullshit, cherry picked and twisted from a blog post 15 years ago (blog post from a dating site, sooooo scientific /s) The "study" itself points out that while the female OkCupid users in this sample group rated 80% of the men in the group as "below average" in looks, they messaged the men on a normal bell curve, whereas while the male users rated women's looks on a normal bell curve, they only messaged the…

Oooh, yeah ... I wanna be used as a human masturbation sleeve. Doesn't that sound like fun? /s
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 12:45 PM
4

Are you seriously asking why someone with the same passion/niche hobby would be more attractive to someone?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 12:37 PM
5

I do think that low effort from men is a symptom of the problem rather than the cause. No. Suicide swipers are not using the apps as intended. You're only supposed to swipe right on people you would actually consider dating. They are the problem and they ruined OLD for everybody.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 12:35 PM
12

Instantly had 50 likes. Most men on the apps swipe right on anything that breathes. Getting likes as a woman means absolutely nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:50 PM
3

If it's so prevalent and prominent (as you claim), surely there must be at least one publication you can name?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:45 PM
0

His comment would be considered "concern trolling". I was making fun of it. Yes! No need for strawmanning here (which is another phrase you guys use in this sub willy nilly, like gaslighting.)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:43 PM
0

No, I meant his real reason was out of concern for women, which is laughable.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:16 PM
1

Which entitlement in particular are you referring to?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:05 PM
1

Why do women need a taller man to feel "small and feminine"? It doesn't matter. That's their preference. Why do men need a woman with smooth, shaved, hairless legs? It doesn't matter. That's their preference. Why do women need a man who makes more money than them? It doesn't matter. That's their preference. Why do men need a woman who is "gentle and submissive"? It doesn't matter. That's their preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:57 PM
7

Which magazines are "hectoring" men into changing their beauty preferences for women?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:55 PM
2

If men made better choices, then "post nut clarity" wouldn't exist. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:29 PM
11

openly and loudly criticizing men's beauty standards has been prominent in mainstream discourse as long as I have been capable of long-term memory Oh, like "hitting the wall" and being called "landwhales" (or fat chicks, in your case)?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:26 PM
6

This again? Hasn't this topic been beaten to death in the last couple of weeks already?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:22 PM
1

More like: Quit complaining about the "monster" that the simps created and don't date them (but you won't, because you'll do anything to get your dick wet). *generic you
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:19 PM
8

after decades of men constantly being hectored that they need to critically examine their physical preferences Who's hectoring anybody? WTF? You (generic you) don't want to be with a woman who is overweight, then don't. Simple as. The whole "body positivity movement" is rooted in marketing. Most brands have promoted this because it aligns with profit, not altruism.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:16 PM
3

Are these "feminists" in the room with us right now? Who's putting a gun to your head?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:05 PM
3

People are allowed to have whatever preferences they want. Whether you think they’re shallow or not, has no bearing on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 07:43 PM
3

Oh, sure! That’s the real reason. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 07:00 PM
6

“Shallow” is subjective. There is no universal punch list.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 06:46 PM
8

How is it beneficial to “all of us”?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 06:33 PM
2

Keep wasting your time, then.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 07:02 PM
3

Yet again: What does that "like" get you if there's zero chance to get an actual date out of it because you didn't read her bio to begin with?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 06:54 PM
8

if all men updated their bio , wouldn’t that significantly decrease the number of profiles women can read through? I would never swipe right on a guy with a blank bio or "just ask", so it's all the same to me. I know a lot of women do the same. Why would I swipe right on someone based on a picture alone? That's the whole point of a dating app is to get a bit of info on them before starting a conversation to see if you have basic compatibility. Otherwise, it's just the equivalent of cold approach…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:57 PM
6

if they don't match back it does not matter what you do If women leave the apps prematurely because they have to wade through so much bullshit/suicide swipers, there are fewer women who will potentially match with you. You're shooting yourselves in the foot.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:22 PM
3

Are you new to this sub?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:17 PM
13

Better to match, start a conversation and waste both of your time when you find out your're incompatible because of the things you should have put in your bio. Makes sense. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:16 PM
5

And that's not the point of a DATING app. It's to find people you actually want to DATE.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:13 PM
7

It does affect me as a woman because it drove me (and many other women) off the dating apps. It hurts men too because as a result, there are fewer women to choose from on the apps. Likes/matches are meaningless to women anymore because we know you swipe on anything that breathes, so it's not special anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 05:05 PM
12

I'm not your "love". What does "engagement" do for you if there's 0% chance it will turn into an actual date, which is the whole reason of being on a DATING app. A one second dopamine hit?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 04:43 PM
20

"Engagement" with women you're not compatible with and/or you wouldn't want to date anyway after you READ THE PROFILE is fucking worthless. Don't you get it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 04:14 PM
24

Yup. It's a slog. That's why most women don't stay on the apps that long.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 03:52 PM
10

Suicide swipers like you have ruined OLD. Full stop. The only way I can see dating apps having any kind of relevance again is to force users to only swipe right on the people they are actually willing to explore dating options. Swipe rate % should be visible to everyone and you should be able to filter on it. If a guy suicide swipes and then unmatches within (insert whatever short period of time) of the woman matching (because he only then reads her bio), you should get kicked off the platform. …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 03:31 PM
6

And women get frustrated with suicide swipers and leave the apps prematurely, leaving you even fewer chances of finding someone. You guys are shooting yourselves in the foot Good job, Ace!
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 03:23 PM
1

Verbal consent still happens wtf? I’m just not signing a contract.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 03:43 AM
9

Yeah, who's stopping you?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 07:31 PM
2

Guys who suicide swipe have ruined OLD for everybody else.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 12:25 PM
14

If I take the time to read every single profile It would take me 20 minutes. The horror! /s
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 09:31 PM
20

99% chance the person who swiped on me didn't actually read my bio. They are likely incompatible with me over something they didn't add in their bio, so I wasn't aware of when I swiped on them (ex. didn't mention in their bio that they are Catholic, Conservative, Pro-Life, etc). This is my main reason as well. It just gets to be a real PITA to sort through that bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 06:14 PM
-3

So how do you explain that I don’t find any of my girlfriends’ partners sexually attractive and vice versa?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 03:18 AM
-6

Yes, but … women’s attraction is very subjective. That’s what these “stats” don’t account for.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 07:00 PM
2

I do a silent retreat once a year. I highly recommend it! I can give you recommendations if you're interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 02:44 PM

I would agree that "some" is not "most". Maybe you watch different porn that I do, but the amount of women I've seen in porn who were authentically into it is in the single digit percentage range.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 02:32 PM
1

Be more honest about the dating world. Don't give platitudes. Just say straight up that you expect a guy with abs Dude, the abs thing is in your head. Out of all the women I've been friends with only one has been very specific about being attracted to a man with a gym bod. This is not as universal as you're making it out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 02:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 12:31 AM

I’ve heard of way too many stories of women secretly thinking of and desiring that one guy from their past who was just “way better” Where have you “heard” this so many times?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 11:36 PM
4

I would never combine finances again. I have my money. He has his. He makes about 1/4 of what I do, so expenses are split accordingly. To make things simple, we sat down and added up the regular household expenses (average) and he just transfers his 25% of it to me once a month.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 06:09 PM
5

What is this "shattered dreams" bullshit?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 02:19 PM

We don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 02:02 AM
6

I was referring to the "2 months' salary" (now 3 months') guideline. That was directly attributed to the De Beers marketing campaign.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 08:28 PM
5

But the reason for that tradition is patriarchal. The reason is because De Beers flooded the market with a massive marketing campaign ("A Diamond Is Forever") starting in the late 40s and they promoted the (back then) 2 months' salary guideline. Before then, diamonds weren't the default choice for engagement rings. The whole wedding industrial complex is a racket.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 02:04 PM

I just skip to lying about having a boyfriend now. Saves time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 11:22 PM

Only after I lied to him about having a boyfriend. Otherwise he would've kept cajoling me. Like I owe him a date because he told me that I'm attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 08:59 PM

Incorrect.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 08:53 PM

Guy: You're so gorgeous! Can I get your number? Me: Thanks, I'm not interested. Guy: But why??? I'm a great guy!!! Once you get to know me ... Me: Thanks, but I'm not interested. Guy: Just a cup of coffee! Me: Thanks, but I'm not interested. Guy: I'm really a great guy! I'll treat you like a princess! Just go out with me once! Me: (lying) I have a boyfriend. Guy: Oh. Well, why didn't you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 08:52 PM

Clearly you've never been cold approached by a guy who won't take "no" for an answer until you say "I have a boyfriend".
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 08:34 PM

Just matching your energy, bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 07:43 PM

Bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 07:39 PM

I walked out on a guy once who took me to dinner at a high end restaurant (that usually takes weeks to get a reservation). He kept snapping his fingers at the server and acting like a jerk towards the staff while being "sweet" to me. I left after the appetizers. He was flabbergasted.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 07:27 PM

Yeah, they will never understand this. I can go on date with a "hot" guy, but if he's rude to the wait staff, my attraction will evaporate as quickly as a drop of water on a hot sidewalk in Dubai.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 07:15 PM

I get so fucking tired of the word "gaslighting" being tossed around so casually and completely overused (particularly in this sub).

Because the guy is pretty much guaranteed an orgasm. The woman "helping" out the guy? Not so much.

Personally, IDGAF if my partner watches porn as long as it doesn't interfere with our sex life (which has only happened once). That being said, in light of the recent "object of desire" discussion when masturbating, if I were a jealous person, I could see this being an issue for me perhaps? It seems that (at least from what most men described in this sub) when men are masturbating to porn they are fantasizing about fucking the actual woman on the screen.

You think beautiful women get things given to them for no reason at all, eh? Dude, I'm from Miami and did modeling on the side in my late teens and 20s. There wasn't a man out there who wanted to give me anything without expecting anything in return. But my original point was that you don't know what that hot girl leaving the gym in her beater car has in her bank account. There's nothing wrong with a car that's 15 years old. Maybe she just doesn't give a shit about cars as long as it drives well…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 12:47 AM

Oh, you're one of those. Never mind.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 12:32 AM

I was in my 20s and 30s when I drove a "beater" car.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 12:18 AM

I know this may seem foreign to you, but some people really only see cars as a method of transportation to get them from point A to point B reliably. I'll bet you that woman driving a "beater" doesn't have a car payment. Some of us also value being debt free over showing off for strangers.

The way you describe it makes it sound like this mechanical process. Like oop, one sec, lemme just hit my orgasm button. That's exactly what masturbation is to me. "Enjoying the sunset" is for when I'm having sex with a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 10:18 PM
5

Sorry, that's not making any sense to me. People have to work. We're not together 24x7. Depending on our schedules, sometimes we can only get together once or twice a week. They are FWBs. The value of our relationships is sex, essentially.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 09:14 PM

We're trying to understand your comment, so why don't you explain it? It's not about the man; it's about the scene, the feeling. When masturbating, yes. What seems to be the problem with that?

How so?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 03:09 PM

and sometimes it's just about getting rid of an urge. That's exactly what it is. I masturbate to get rid of the horny feeling and to be able to concentrate on something else and get on with the rest of my day. No, I do not have an "object of desire" in mind when I'm rubbing one out.

I think in heterosexual relationships, men will mentally check out of their marriages, but won’t actually file for divorce because it seems like too much effort, having a wife (even if they’re not into her) still benefits them, and/or they don’t want to break up the family or disentangle the finances. So women get fed up and end up doing the filing more often. Yup. And they don't want to look like "the bad guy" for breaking up the marriage.

Another option is to borrow from the 6% regressive head tax levied on childless women, the Soviet tax, but apply it to all older women who refuse to marry or remarry. You can fuck right off with that. Another option is to drastically reduce all retirement benefits for women (and women only), unless they are in opposite-sex marriages or opposite-sex common-law relationships. And you can fuck off even more with this one. And when you get there, fuck off from there too. Then fuck off some more. Kee…

Say Jon and Jane were in a serious, long term relationship. They each work exactly 40 hours each per week, but Jane makes 3x the money as Jon. Can Jane be way slower with housework, get way less done since hours are the key? No.

I'd still go on a date with someone who is a few inches shorter than me if he ticks off some other boxes. It's how they handle themselves when they are "caught" that matters. There's a world of difference between a childless woman struggling with infertility for something she's wished for all her life and a childfree woman whose worst nightmare is having to birth and rear a child. IDGAF about the study. You were complaining about "having to support people who hate me and don't think of me as a human". Although I highly doubt that any single mother needing government assistance gives you even a nanosecond of thought, much less "hate" you (perhaps projection on your part?). My point was that paying taxes for things you don't agree with is a part of living in this society and it's not limited to your personal ire for single mothers who may need government assistance to feed …

Clearly the average man is stronger than the average woman. The average woman would not qualify for a job that requires heavy lifting above her means. Neither would a man who couldn't meet the job requirements. Why is this such a hard thing for you people to grasp? A woman and a man doing the same job (where both meet the job requirements) should get paid the same. Why is this such a hard thing for you people to grasp?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 11:57 PM

Why should a woman have that privilege? Did you skip classes in middle school where they explain how the mechanics of pregnancy work?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 10:03 PM

So if a wife takes a certain antibiotic because she had bronchitis and it nullifies the efficacy of her birth control, she gets pregnant and the husband doesn't want (another) kid. He should be able to just sign a piece of paper and say "not my problem; I didn't want it"?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 09:36 PM

I don't know anybody IRL who takes in any government assistance to even remotely offset the taxes that they pay, unless you count my friend who lost a parent in the WTC. I too would like the norm of "not having to support costly government policies I don't agree with", but that's not going to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 09:26 PM

No, wtf? If we have 100 boxes that need moved within an hour. As someone who trains 3-5 times per week at the gym, I'm going to be a lot more effective at it than the scrawny guy who struggles lifting the 30 lb bag of frozen fries at the fast food joint. It's about job qualifications. If you're not qualified to do the job, you don't get the job. Is your skull really that thick?

It's sexist to say they shouldn't be given equal rights because of their sex, yes. So, avoiding the question. Gotcha. I'm against paper abortions because both parties involved in making the child should bear responsibility for raising/feeding it. The woman doesn't get pregnant in a vacuum. You are considering a man and woman doing an hour of labour as doing the same amount of labour, it's not. Yes, it is. That's why job requirements exist. Same job. Same pay. It's quite simple, really.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 07:55 PM
1

Except most work isn't static, some days there will be more, some days there will be less, and therefor it's a benefit to have those that can do physical labour in any of these stages with much better ease. You keep circumventing the issue that if the woman and man are physically capable of doing the same job, they are paid the same (or should be according to most labor laws). That the work isn't static doesn't matter one iota. If the woman is matching the man in physical labor, they get paid th…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:42 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:41 PM

A male nurse with the same experience does not make more than a female nurse. They get paid by skill level. Anything with physical labour can be an aspect, men get paid more. Any job where a man and a woman can physically do the job equally, they should be paid equally. If the scrawny grocery store clerk can't meet the physical requirements to work on an oil rig, is it sexist if they don't hire him? Get real.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:38 PM

Yes, and? What does that have to do with agreeing what should happen in case of an accidental pregnancy prior to having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:25 PM
1

If a man makes more money doing physical labor that a woman can't physically do, it's not sexist.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:21 PM

The question is about whether it's sexist. It's not sexist. It's a biological difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 06:06 PM

Do I look like I give a fuck? I did the responsible thing and fought hard to get sterilized. If you don’t want kids, you should do the same. Then you can have all the recreational sex you want! It’s great. Highly recommend it. 💯

/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 03:07 PM

I don't know what "recreational sex" has to do with anything, but yes, due to the mechanics of pregnancy your choice ends after the deposit of sperm.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:46 PM

A man has full control over his reproduction. He decides where to deposit his sperm.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:40 PM

Non sequitur.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:33 PM

putting on a condom is already an implicit act of not wanting the woman to get pregnant Absolutely. But condoms are also used to protect from STIs. My original statement ITT: "A man's choice ends when he decides where to deposit his sperm." still stands.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:29 PM

Men can't get pregnant is a true statement and clearly not sexist. Yeah, I asked the same question. He can't answer it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:25 PM

That topic can get tossed on top of the "worn out and beaten to death" pile as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:17 PM

The fairest solution is for both parties to agree in advance what should happen in case of an accidental pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 02:16 PM

Yet it doesn't. If you think abortions (or abortifacients) didn't happen before it was legalized, I've got news for you, bro.

What does that have to do with my comment? "I don't want to have kids" is a valid reason not to have kids. Just because they are "well off enough" to raise a single child doesn't mean they have an obligation to do so. Especially considering the potential (and likely) emotional damage to a child born to unwilling parents.

If you truly didn't give a shit (which you claimed), you wouldn't have felt the need to add the last part. Especially because gonorrhea by all accounts is easily treated with antibiotics. So I'm not sure what kind of "consequences" you think this will have for her. Ooooooh! A week long of antibiotic pills with a side chance of getting a yeast infection. Such dire consequences!!!

It's like that "women only find 20% of men attractive" bullshit, cherry picked and twisted from a blog post 15 years ago (blog post from a dating site, sooooo scientific /s) The "study" itself points out that while the female OkCupid users in this sample group rated 80% of the men in the group as "below average" in looks, they messaged the men on a normal bell curve, whereas while the male users rated women's looks on a normal bell curve, they only messaged the top 30%. So, really, what this sho…

The new default would be that sex only happens with an agreement. Do it. Or in absence of an agreement there is no child support. Nope. If there's no agreement, you don't get off the hook.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 02:19 PM

Men should agree upfront (before sex) to pay or not pay for possible children indefinitely or till X date. All for it. Sign a contract before sex.

"Lots" - Source? Numbers? Again, do you have real life experience or are you just going off what you're reading on Reddit? Here, since you can't seem to use google: A significant number of women experience a temporary decrease in sexual desire after childbirth, but the majority eventually resume sexual activity. Permanent loss of interest in sex postpartum is uncommon and typically associated with specific health concerns that can be addressed with appropriate care.

Nothing is foolproof, no. If you can't reach a compromise, you divorce. That's literally why divorces exist. So the wife went from being heterosexual to asexual overnight? This is a major change in orientation. Either that or you don't know what being asexual truly means. Do you think people just switch from sexual to asexual? From being heterosexual to homosexual? This is some pretty strange thinking. Or you don' t understand how sexuality works?

There are too many variables to consider and individual circumstances. There's no one "right" solution for everybody. You need to get to the "why" first. I did what I could for them while they lived with me and the two older girls visit me often and ask me for cooking advice. You didn’t realize that kids come with a great time, money, and energy investment before you had them? I’m told its worth it if that’s your heart’s desire, but most people are aware of the tradeoffs.

I'm not giving you parenting advice. If your wife was high libido when you first met and now she doesn't want to have sex with you, clearly you should be smart enough to realize there's got to be something more behind it other than "I just don't wanna anymore." Especially if she was HL before kids. Anyway. Do whatever you want (obviously). You want to stay in an unhappy/unfulfilling situation because of your kids, that's a choice. And it's a perfectly fine choice, but it is your choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 02:51 AM

Life's all about choices, dude. If your needs aren't being met, you can choose the status quo (put up and shut up) or attempt to make changes (talk to her about the fact that your unhappy about the lack of sex and see if she wants to meet you halfway, get a fleshlight, or see if she'll agree to open up the marriage, etc.) You got married and had kids with this woman. I didn't say it magically solves all problems, but it certainly is a great place to start. You said the woman is "to blame" if she doesn't put out, so that would justify his actions?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 12:46 AM
3

A woman doesn't "just decide she doesn't want sex anymore". There's generally a reason. What if perhaps she goes through menopause and no longer has a sex drive, he's just supposed to accept that? Just stay married? What if he develops ED? Is she just supposed to accept that?

There are two different conversations ITT. I'm trying to explain that it's cheating whether OP is open and honest about it with his "wife" or he's hiding it. If the wife isn't in agreement, it's cheating. Mr. Lousy is arguing that cheating is justified if the wife isn't putting out. Two different topics. There is no problem to be solved.

If either person doesn't uphold their end of the deal, you either get counseling and work through it (Communicate! What a concept!) and if you can't resolve things, you divorce. Cheating isn't the solution here.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:20 PM

If it's a two way street and everything is above board, that is an open marriage (or ethical non-monogamy).

If she is honest about it, then it's fine. If she's honest about it upfront and you're fine with it, you're agreeing to having an open marriage. That's ethical. If she's honest about it upfront and you're not fine with it, it's cheating.

Why should he divorce her, go through the stress and hassle and cost of a divorce, probably lose the house he most likely paid for (either by being forced to move out or to list it for a partition action)? According to who are we owed honesty? Is this some moral duty? Yes. In a marriage (unless otherwise agreed upon) you're morally obligated to be honest with your spouse about fucking other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 05:42 PM
9

He is free to divorce her if she isn't meeting his physical needs. Unless otherwise agreed upon, marriage implies monogamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 05:41 PM
5

I guess if she's fine with it after knowing then it's whatever. Yeah, then that's her agreeing to having an open marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 05:40 PM
12

Yes, and "It's totally OK!" because he's being upfront with her about it and not lying to her. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:55 PM
7

Yes, for the millionth time in this thread. You're free to cheat on your wife. Being upfront about it doesn't make it moral or ethical though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:51 PM
4

If she doesn't agree. It's cheating. Plain and simple. No matter how many times you try to state otherwise. No, she can't stop you. Cheating is not illegal. It is, however, immoral and unethical.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:49 PM
6

If your wife doesn't agree with you fucking other women, it's cheating. Doesn't matter whether you're hiding it or not. 0 difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:43 PM
9

I said: Just because you announce to your wife openly that you will be fucking around on her doesn't make it "not cheating". You said: Well it is really!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:36 PM
4

sex alone is not automatic reason to divorce Yes. Yes it is if that's your priority.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:34 PM
7

Have you ever been in a relationship? This is some ridiculous bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:33 PM
11

... and he can get a divorce and find someone who will fuck him. What's so hard to understand about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:31 PM
13

But her not having sex is also her being a shitty partner. Then you are free to divorce her and find someone who will fuck you. She is also free to divorce you if you cheat on her. You could also try talking to her or go to counseling to find out why she doesn't want to have sex with you. Did that ever cross your mind?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:29 PM
5

No, cheating is about breaking a tacit agreement. That being married also includes monogamy (unless otherwise agreed upon). Whether you hide it or not has no bearing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:25 PM
7

He seems to want to justify his behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:24 PM
18

If your wife agrees to an open marriage? Fantastic! But just telling her you're going to fuck other people is being a shitty partner. Just because you're "honest and open" about it doesn't magically make it morally right.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:22 PM
1

Sure, you can do that, but you're being a shitty partner and she has every right to leave your ass after something stupid like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:19 PM
1

Sure, you can do that, but you're being a shitty partner and she has every right to leave your ass after something stupid like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:19 PM
17

I didn't say cheating was illegal. Where do you see that I said that?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:14 PM
13

No, he says in OP: all you need is to inform them that you are planning to fuck someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:09 PM
28

If you're upfront about it and your spouse is in agreement (read: open marriage), it's not cheating. all you need is to inform them that you are planning to fuck someone else. That is not enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:07 PM
5

Yeah, I don't know why he's complicating things so unnecessarily. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 04:04 PM
30

Finding a new partner without divorcing (or both agreeing to open up the marriage) is cheating. Full stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 03:59 PM
77

But I don't think husband should be forced to stay celibate if he doesnt want to. Not to say that wife should have sex with him whenever he wants. But he should be allowed to seek sex outside without much fuss. He's free to get a divorce and seek out a new partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 03:55 PM
1

I just ate a bunch of brownies Wait. Aren't you the guy who complains about his weight? I'm not saying this to be mean, I just remember you commenting frequently on another sub I participate in that you can't find a girlfriend because you're overweight. Seems incongruent?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 01:42 PM

None of my male loved ones are Red Pillers. They're sane.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 09:25 PM
1

Of course. Why do you think I'm only starting to understand this? They want to keep you swiping as much as possible. They have no vested interest in anyone finding a true partner and leaving the app. Quite the opposite, really.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:46 PM
3

Yes, that is a thing of the past. Gone are the days where women's partner choices were made for them. We're not going back to the 50s when women were regularly prescribed Valium just to get through their miserable days as housewives and slaves to their husbands. It's not common for the entire extended family to live in the same town or even state. Young people move away and make lives for themselves elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:41 PM

Then don't. Easy peasy.

Yeah, and people never change or men never put on a facade to get into women's pants. /s Still no reliable indicator as to how he's going to parent after the baby pops out and they're both sleep deprived for the first couple of years.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 03:53 PM
6

There's no litmus test for parenting prior to becoming a parent. How are women supposed to make 99% sure? Tell me. You keep avoiding this question.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 03:14 PM
2

You're the one putting the onus on women to "make 100% sure that the man will be a good parent" (your words). I'm asking you exactly how are women supposed to do that?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 02:57 PM
1

Point being that men who suicide swipe are just going for matches. ANY match. Regardless of whether the women is compatible or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 02:56 PM
3

And how exactly do you make 100% sure they'll be a good parent?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 02:44 PM
-1

Not if you pay for premium.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 02:30 PM

Cap the left swipe limit for WOMEN. ... and cap the right swipe limit for MEN.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 01:55 PM
1

What I've done (but it felt super silly to me) is to hide a "code word" in my bio. Messages must contain the specific word in their message to make sure they actually read the bio.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 12:14 PM
1

I have a lengthy profile - partly aimed at convincing the unsuitable to filter themselves out. And still, I was inundated with random men, most of whom don't have much of a profile, or really introduce themselves. Problem is, most guys don't read them. It's an exercise in futility.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 12:10 AM
2

So why do you bother with apps at all with that attitude?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 09:18 PM
4

Ding! Ding! Ding!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 07:51 PM
6

For those men, filtering after matching takes less work. Definitely. That puts the onus on the women to sort. Then they get burned out quickly and leave the apps prematurely. The reason women don't suicide swipe is not because they are nicer or something No, lol. That's not why. It's because for the most part, women use the dating apps as they were meant to be used to the extent of: look at a profile, evaluate, then decide whether to swipe right or not. A lot of men just want "a match". They don…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 06:21 PM
1

The majority of men suicide swiping ruined it for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:36 PM
8

i mean why do you think so many women have left dating apps or are taking frequent breaks in the first place? They get overwhelmed with a lot of "bad" matches (men who don't read the bio before swiping, or as you said, they swipe on anything with a pulse). Sorting through a sea of shit isn't really enticing.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:35 PM
1

Do you have a legitimate source for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:31 PM
1

What consequences?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:26 PM
8

"good men"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:26 PM
6

Unfortunately it won't work unless the majority of men quit suicide swiping. They've ruined it for everybody else.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:03 PM
13

This is stated on this sub repeatedly, yet this topic is regurgitated ad nauseam.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:50 PM
0

So confident!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:49 PM
1

Yes! Because women are flooded with "bad" likes, get overwhelmed and leave the app prematurely. It's a lose/lose for both men and women. When I was on the apps, about 90% of men clearly hadn't read my bio before swiping. It gets tiresome very quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:46 PM
1

You do you, though. Oh, I do! No approval from you needed :)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:38 PM
7

Of course they wake up to a shit ton of matches. Men notoriously suicide swipe. Swipe right on anything with a pulse and wait for a match to actually read the woman's bio.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:35 PM
1

It's not "but I believe". It's "I have first hand experience" and "I've seen this with my own eyes in my friends', acquaintances', and coworker's relationships IRL." But like I said quite a few comments back. Believe what you want. That's what you're going to do anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:31 PM
2

Loving travel is not a "current obsession", dude. LOL
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:28 PM

I don't live in isolation, so it's not just "my" experience. There's a whole world out there. You choose to judge others from on high with no real life experience in these matters. That says more about you. Enjoy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 02:02 PM
1

Sounds like you are much more of the believe breed than I am. I am in the "I've lived a lot more life than you" camp. Real life experience vs. theory. What we call "street knowledge" vs. "book knowledge".

1

*many Believe what you want dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 12:47 PM

Get back to me when it's been more than 2 years. 2 months is not an LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 04:40 AM
3

It's not even about single parenthood. I'm not a parent, but I've had a fair share of men change in behavior/mentality once they thought they had me "locked down" in an LTR. You can't keep up a facade for more than 2 years, IME. Have you ever been in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 04:27 AM
3

If you haven't, then you really have no leg to stand on. You're working off of a lot of assumptions and "I don't think it's plausible" when you've never experienced it yourself. But do go on with your Judgy McJudgerson self.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 04:20 AM

It’s a fact that upper class women (proxy for intelligence really) are considerably less likely to end up as a single mother? They are simply more competent selectors. That’s the difference. No, that's not the reason why. Generally, as women's education levels increase, the number of children they have tends to decrease. (CDC data) A higher percentage of women with higher education/intelligence choose not to have children at all (compared to a HS degree).

The age ranges for "young men and women" in the study was 18-29 Women tend to get married at a slightly younger age Men will often delay marriage to focus on career establishment It stands to reason that women 25-29 are marrying (or cohabitating) with men 30-35 which would account for the slight lopsidedness in the men vs. women of the same age range being (or considering themselves) single. Not Chad somehow "hoarding all the wimminz".

This is not gender specific. Nobody should date anybody else if it doesn’t improve their life. What’s the point even if not? Date to make your life miserable? Idiocy. JFC. This is an exercise in futility. I’ve got better shit to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 08:37 PM

It’s so off-putting to watch a man erasing a shrunken, pale clitoris and pounding pale, un-engorged labia slicked with silicone lube that watching much of it will turn women off men forever. Yeah, and the guys are all: "Oooh, she's moaning and soooo into it! I need more information before I can answer these questions. - How do men "cater" to women? - What do you mean by "more in demand"? - What do you mean by "over-supplied"? - Need clarification on the previous 2 before I can answer this - Balance out what? - No. There are good men and good women. There are bad men and bad women. - Attraction is highly subjective.

Nah, plenty of red pill men compare women to inanimate objects such as cars ("high mileage"), talking about "SMV" (there is no "sexual market" unless you're talking about paying a sex worker) and comparing relationships with employment opportunities. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

My current FWBs are mid-30s, so 20 years younger than I am. I find men in their 20s a bit too inexperienced and immature for me. I'd love to find a man closer to my age, but they can't seem to keep up with me, so younger it is. I've found that 10 years younger works best for me for LTRs. Mainly I'm attracted to men who are intelligent, self-aware, brown hair, brown eyes, husky build, and a few inches taller than me. That hasn't changed in 40 years.

Leave it to you to try to equate porn to dating. Non-sequitur, much? Like, come on, dude. This post and most of your comments boil down to: "I believe women make bad choices, which makes dating harder for men". You're grasping for straws trying to find some kind of corollary. The porn industry is a market. Commodities are a market. Women are not commodities. Men are not "consumers" of women. People are not commodities. Relationships are not a market.

Absolutely agree on free condoms, I'd even go for free IUDs, given IUDs are more effective than condoms and are far far far less likely to be used improperly, and it's not like you can forget to use one. Agree, but a man can't verify that the woman has an IUD and this discussion is all about the man's responsibility in all of this. I mean, if men say that to women, then those men are accused of being misogynistic. If they say what? Bring up a discussion about whether or not the woman would have …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 03:34 PM
1

My solution would be to advocate for free condoms/birth control for everybody. That would be fair for both sides. If you're having sex with someone and don't discuss what might happen in the event of birth control failure, that's on you. If the woman doesn't believe in abortion, or would race to the clinic upon finding out she's pregnant, that's something you should know before you stick your dick inside her.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 08:22 PM

I shouldn't approach unless I am extremely attractive. Again, because it doesn't seem to be sinking in: at a singles mixer, approaching other singles is the whole point of the event. Anybody saying otherwise, regardless of gender, is being disingenuous and unrealistic. I have seen women on different subs complain that there are no attractive men there. That is a whole different ball of wax. What women find attractive is highly subjective.

The pornography industry has traditionally been male-dominated, with men holding the majority of producer roles (read: the ones making the most money off of porn). The majority of porn stars are women because the majority of porn consumers are men. Men who engaged in porn ... are you talking about male porn actors or male consumers? Both do so voluntarily. Nobody's putting a gun to your head to watch porn.

My best friend (who is a G cup) says she gets more stares and leering when she wears a turtleneck vs. a shirt with a V-neck that shows cleavage. I could wear a potato sack and get ogled, so it really doesn't matter.

I'm not a man. There are plenty of men on this sub that will tell you this: Men lower their standards to have sex but raise it for romance

Women raise their standards for sex but lower it for romance. Incorrect. It's the other way around.

Serious question: Do you sit around all day just trying to come up with "edgy" questions to post on this sub on a daily basis?

Top 1% earner with a security clearance living in a 4,000+ sq ft house on multiple acres. But clearly, we're degenerates. lol

I didn't ask you what kind of men don't like tattoos. I asked what kind of "lifestyle" you ascribe to someone who has tattoos. Ex-convict, punk girls, druggies who parties too hard in nightclub and drink beer like drink a water, basically women who are in transgressive underground society. This is a hilarious take. Thanks for the laugh this morning! lol

they just don't like such woman who live in a lifestyle associated with how much tattoo she has ... and what "lifestyle" would that be exactly?

Yes, no match = no sex. But you cannot assume that match = sex. Not even close.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 10:47 PM

Sure, if you have a decision tree with only two outcomes, it's easy. If you have a match, there are several possibilities. You match and then you: - look at the profile in detail and decide you don't want to take it any further - chat and you decide whether you do or don't want to take it any further (another fork in the decision tree) - meet for a first date and decide whether or not you want to take it any further (another fork in the decision tree) ... and so on, and so forth. It's not just a…

Yes, it's called extrapolation. I'm aware. The point still stands that you cannot derive the number of sexual encounters from matches. Too many variables.

I think the demographic results of the PPD survey can shed some light on this for you.

I don't demand shit and I'm not responsible for other women. Seriously. You're barking up the wrong tree. Dating sucks for the majority of people. This doesn't need to be pointed out.

A lot of men just swipe right on every woman hoping for a match. They don't read the bio, they just swipe based on a 2 second glance at the first picture. That leaves the sorting to the women. I'd say 90% of the men who swiped right on me clearly did not read my bio. That's a waste of my time. Honestly, I enjoyed OLD when people only swiped right on profiles of people they took the time to read everything (not just a picture) and had a clear intention of getting to know the other person. Those d…

Even if those stats were accurate, they would tell you nothing about who is having sex with whom (or not).

It's really not, but you want to seem to make this about yourself. This thread isn't about men's issues. There are plenty of other posts in this sub for that on a daily basis that you can avail yourself of.

What a lot of women don’t seem to understand is there’s men who will use the shotgun approach and like almost every woman. Hoping a few will match and they might get a date . Oh, we totally understand it. Suicide swipers have ruined it for both sides. Women get so overwhelmed with bogus likes, they don't stick around long. It's a lose/lose.

You can take it however you want. Whether "it sucks for men too" is not the topic of discussion ITT.

Seriously. Have a look at the graphs and data again. "Women Are Having Significantly More Casual Sex Than Men, They Just Share The Men." is not a reasonable conclusion. But it feeds into their confirmation bias, so ... (In all seriousness, thanks for doing the legwork on this.)

No, twice a week with a personal trainer to develop a plan and check form. He can use the plan to go to the gym 4-5x a week. This is to build a healthy habit. Not looking to get ripped here (a lot of women don't find muscle-bound guys attractive - including me, and I'm a gym rat). Just want to get him toned and in shape-ish, but more importantly getting into the habit of working out regularly (and correctly) for physical and mental health.

Volunteering at an animal shelter, or homeless shelter, or any multitude of worthy causes to expand your horizons and maybe meet new people is not nefarious. Worst case, you volunteered and did a little bit of good somewhere. Dogs at the shelter need to be walked. They're in a cage 24x7. It's like, 2-3 hours once a week (or really, as often or as little as you can make time for). You put one on a leash, go for a quick walk around the property (they usually have designated trails) give some pets …
