Cannot wait. In the last two days she told me "I Cannot fucking stand you" and "I cannot fucking wait to be done with you". She also told me to go non-contact with her 16 YO bio daughter; mind you I have known this girl since she was three and she's lived with me (and my kids) the last six years.

Oh I have videoed her rants and attacks and have so many ugly texts and emails. And she’s freaking out (in her calmer moments) now that she knows I’m keeping them despite her requests to delete them.

It’s not even that she’s fake…she just saves all her anger and frustration for ME

Thinking about the dance mom who did a murder / suicide with her daughter at the Rio in Vegas last month. Was going through a toxic custody battle and did that shit

Happened to me a couple years ago with my ex wife and we had been divorced 10 years. It was quickly dismissed after an investigation Current but STBX wife (who I was married to when this happened) brought it up in a bad argument about a month ago…”maybe she was right about you”. Pure evil.

Right? Imagine a man posting something like that in a “women’s divorce” sub. If it didn’t immediately get nuked, it would be a pile on like you wouldn’t believe

Why are you in this sub? It’s for men going through divorces.

This is why we don't tell women our darkest fears and secrets. They will weaponize them if they have to and will not think twice about it.

Yep...STBX: "I know you're going to get all 'the friends' but they don't know the REAL story" Me: "Go ahead and tell them what you want. Doesn't bother me." STBX: "They won't understand"

You said a mouthful here. Can’t count the number of times she’s like “you dismiss what I say or don’t listen to me” and I’m like “I can tell you, with great detail, every viewpoint you have on the issue. Just because I may choose not to do it YOUR WAY doesn’t mean I’m not listening”
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/26 10:17 PM

Yeah I think I can agree with that for sure. It seems that it’s a common trait that is in divorcing couples, male or female. I just happen to be posting in a male-centric sub

Nah man I appreciate this. And yes I’ve wondered why I seem to attract / be attracted to certain types.

This is a very fair post. I try and check myself all the time that part of this is on me for sure and not just dump it on her. But, as I’ve told her, we all are the heroes in our own story. As long as I can lay my head down at night knowing I gave it all a good go I’ll be ok with myself

Think about the constant earful her new guy is gonna get about it too. Just a bonus.

This sounds like a case that’s not complicated where you might could do mediation which is much less expensive

Go see a therapist. They get paid to sit and listen to your shit. Also, may be controversial, you can unload on a LLM and sometimes that helps me without burdening a friend

When I saw this article on twitter this sub was the first thing I thought of. If it wasn't here I was going to post it myself. Her poor husband. Edit: Hey whatta know. She's "depressed" too! And bravely is not keeping it secret anymore! http://www.ravishly.com/depression-dirty-secret

As I've learned from other subs: Men love women > women love children > children love puppies That's it in a nutshell, really

I've come to realize (at 45, waaaay too late) that women value the relationship, not the person. Guys, the true romantics, do the opposite. I'm super struggling right now with a bad oneitis breakup (which brought me here, actually) and when she broke it off with me I couldn't believe it when I heard her say, THAT NIGHT, "I want to be in another relationship with someone one day and I know I will". I couldn't believe that she was generalizing about a theoretical relationship at that moment. I wan…

Well, sure there's a bit of beta in there. I just found trp four months ago, mainly because of the Oneitis. It's going well, but not all there yet. It will come; just not sure of the tactics I need to take right now. Thought it was GFTOW, but that ain't working.

What I'm saying , though, is there's been no emotional break up. It's still a break up, so I don't know if it even fucking matters But, if there never is an emotional breakup, what's the frame there?

I read this in an archived post on TRP: The woman has broken up with you, she has verbalised the break-up. There might be tears involved, but that woman has already decided – you are not good enough anymore and she will move on. At this point I want to note the following. If a woman has not emotionally broken up with you and she has done so because you have cheated on her, or done something that she deems unforgivable and she simply has to move on, she will be emotionally tied with you forever. …

Thanks for that. Interesting reading. Still, the only "standing" I saw in that link was standing in a bar with a drink. It's easy when I have my coffee mug, but what about when my hands are free?

Absolutely. I've already got three plates going and am working on a 4th. It's astonishing when you see this all for yourself

Yes, I mention I've read about it here; it's just the first time it's really hit me from my own experience. It's changed everything , and helped a TON with this Breakup / Oneitis shitshow

Lol right? Let the record show it was during our first break (about 4 months). I NEVER cheated on the oneitis.

Great stuff. Thanks. I am already doing No Contact which makes it easier. I am journaling, working out (running), and taking up hobbies. I did quickly find a girl (43) and got laid. She got very into me very quickly so I'm having to brush her off some. Ironically I thought that would help, but it only made me miss the ex more, goddammit. The "oneitis" article suggests that only sleeping with girls you perceive as higher value than your ex will help. Thanks for all the tips man. Not sure getting …
