Second marriage of 7 years, been together 13. This behavior has happened before during our problems, but is increasing the last week since things became irreparable.

Basically, my wife will follow me around the house insulting me, yelling and screaming at me, using a mocking sarcastic tone many times. I learned long ago to not engage or match the energy. However, even when I clearly say over and over "I'm not talking with you when you're like this, please leave me alone" she refusues to and will follow me from room to room.

A couple of times I've had to physically leave the house for a bit just to get some peace. I've started taping some of these rants when she does them for future use if needed and to protect myself from accusations.

Generally wondering what my options are when she won't respect my wishes to be left alone. I don't think I should have to keep leaving MY house.
