Especially in the girls with low self-esteem, I suspect they see intelligent guys as a threat, whether they are physically attractive or not, because intelligent guys are self-aware enough to realize when they are with the wrong girl, whereas it's a lot easier to manipulate the dumb guys.	/r/MGTOW	15/12/16 03:56 AM

You alluded to something that I was thinking: "Intelligent" is usually what women will say to a guy when there is nothing else about him to compliment, at least that's my suspicion, I realize it's not true in every case. By saying "no offense," it might have been a subconscious way of apologizing for telling me I'm not attractive. With that said, I wonder if the women who mention laughter are merely looking for entertainment, not a partnership.
